She felt him stand, but her ass had fallen onto the edge of the bed. With her body still buzzing, she wasn’t sure how much time had passed, but when she opened her eyes, Tay stood before her gloriously naked. His huge cock on display.
He was so damn comfortable in his nudity, and way too good looking. All hers. His cock jerked beneath her gaze, curving upward toward his lower abdomen. A renewed thrum of need pulsed through her.
“Climb into the middle of the bed. I don’t think I will last if I get my hands on you again.” He tipped his head.
Rolling over, she crawled into the middle of the bed, slowly, seductively, her body moving like a sinuous cat. She made sure to put some extra swing in her hips, and looked over her shoulder, reveling in the fact he was every bit as affected by her as she him. By the time she reached the middle of the bed, he’d climbed on and knelt behind her.
The heat of his body covered her from behind. “You like to play?” Having him crowded up behind her should have scared her. Instead, it had her heart thumping in anticipation.
“Only with you,” she whispered breathlessly.
Tay ran his hand down her back, over her upturned ass and between her thighs. “Only with me is right.”
Oh, God. She swallowed as he pushed into her, bracing her hands and knees apart, feeling a rush of cool air as he sat back. His hands held her hips, and she instinctively pushed back, wanting to take more even though that initial entry caused her to whimper.
“You okay?” He held still with his cock buried inside her.
Nodding, she exhaled. “Better than okay. Fuck me, Tay. I want to feel you long after you’re no longer in me.”
“Jesus Christ,” he growled. “Don’t say shit like that.” His body vibrated with an echoing need in her.
“I know what I want, and I want it hard and fast. I’m not breakable remember.” She rolled her hips, squeezing her internal muscles.
From one second to the next, he went from not moving to pistoning in and out, shoving so deep inside her, she couldn’t stop the shocked cry from exiting her throat. In this position she felt full, fuller than she’d ever been and her body tried to adjust to the invasion, and the sensations he was lighting up.
She dropped down to her elbows, her breath coming out in gasps, but Tay didn’t let up. Pumping into her fast and furious, with a need that increased with each pulsing thrust. His big hands pulled her back to meet his pistoning hips again and again, the pounding strokes hitting her right where she needed deep inside.
It was raw and dominating, and she loved it. Loved him, and gave herself over to the feelings he drew from her with his body. Lust overtaking her, she cried out, shaking, pushing back against him. Behind her closed lids, stars flashed, making the ache between her thighs increase. So close. The need coiling tighter, just out of reach.
Tay, attuned to her body, reached between her thighs, and rubbed the bundle of nerves in time to his thrust. “Come for me. Now,” he demanded his voice dark and along with the thrusts and the hand between her thighs, she couldn’t deny him.
“Yes, Tay. Don’t stop, please.” She shoved back against him.
“Never.” She knew he was promising more, but then her release slammed into her, and she screamed, the flood of pleasure rippled over her uncontrollably.
A deep possessive male groan followed her as he rammed into her a few more times, his fingers biting into her hips. Jaqui loved knowing she would be wearing his marks, and they’d be the only ones to know it.
Unable to hold herself up, she dropped down to her stomach, with Tay’s hands still holding her partially.
“Let me take care of you.” The slight pain as he pulled out felt delicious.
She shook her head and tried to move forward up the bed. “Can’t move,” she muttered.
His masculine chuckle was followed by the bed dipping slightly as he got up and got a wash cloth. Once he cleaned her up, he climbed back onto the bed “Let’s just lay here for a while. You wiped me out, too”
Goosebumps rose on her flesh. Tay, always on alert, pulled the comforter they’d somehow shoved down over them, then snuggled up against her. “Love you, Tay. Thank you for coming with me.”
“I told you I’d always come for you, sunshine. You know that song about sunshine. You truly make me happy. My days were gray before you. If you listen to that song, really listen to it, it says exactly how I feel. I begged all that was holy not to take my sunshine away. He’s given me another chance, and I’ll do anything to keep you safe.”
She turned, tears falling from her eyes. “That is one of my favorite songs. My mom used to sing it to me as a kid. Now, it has a whole new meaning.” She wrapped her arms around him. “Hold me and don’t let me go.”
“For as long as you will have me, I’ll always be here. You’re my one.” He kissed away her tears. “Okay, enough of the crying. We’re too tired to explore the only type of wet I will allow you to get.”
“So bossy.” She snuggled closer. His warmth, and soothing motion of his palm on her back lulled her into a restful sleep.

T
ay woke. A strange sound penetrated his sleep. He pressed a finger to Jaqui’s lips. Moving so his mouth was over her ear he whispered. “Did you reset the alarm when we came in the house?”
She nodded.
“Get dressed and lock yourself in the bathroom or closet. Do you have a weapon in here?” He was moving off the bed silently and pulling his jeans on. Looking out the window, the sun hadn’t fully set, which made him wonder why an intruder hadn’t waited until the cover of darkness.
Jaqui pulled a pair of leggings on and a T-shirt from her bag, but he didn’t have time or want to alert the intruder to their whereabouts. Opening the case he’d had delivered by another SEAL team member, he pulled out a gun and handed one to Jaqui, then lifted the strap of the automatic weapon over his chest and palmed the Glock.
Padding silently to the closed door, he pressed his ear to the door. A cool hand at his back made him close his eyes in resignation.
He put his lips close to her ear and bit out. “Stay behind me.”
As quietly as possible, he opened the door. The noise he’d heard was coming from the front of the house. He raised his brows at the off tune singing. A rendition of Adele’s song Hello, was being belted out by a female that had Jaqui’s eyes widening. Then he heard another voice chime in.
Jaqui started to laugh and tucked the gun into the back of her pants. “That would be my cousins. Annette and Maureen, or Nettie and Mo to those close to them. They’re twins, and crazy as all get out. They’re my Aunt Laci’s girls.”
Tay lifted his finger to his ear when the two women hit, or tried to hit a particular high note. “Do they think they can sing?”
The woman he loved with all his heart nudged him in the stomach. “Hush, you’ll hurt their feelings.”
He wasn’t sure what he expected, but figured carrying around an assault rifle would scare the piss out of two young girls. “Give me a second while I put this away.” He walked back into the bedroom, placing the gun back into the case and shutting it up, then bent and picked up his T-shirt.
He exhaled, and resigned himself to dealing with a couple of young girls.
However, the scene he walked into was nothing like he’d expected. First of all, the two young girls, were not the young girls he’d thought. They appeared to be closer to Jaqui’s age. He rubbed his eyes, sure he was seeing double.
“Oh, he has that deer in the headlights look, Mo. I don’t think Jaq told him we were identical. FYI, big boy, we don’t go for that sort of thing.” One of the women spoke in a slow southern-ish drawl.
“Ignore Nettie. Ever since she moved to Georgia and started dating Shep Calhoun of the
Calhoun’s
of the south, sugar, she has started talking like that.” The one he assumed was Mo made the man’s name sound like a disease rather than a family.
Nettie stepped up to her sister. “Why, you’re just upset I found me a man finer than a frog’s hair.”
Mo rolled her eyes. “See? What the flying fuck does that even mean?”
At this point his woman had a large glass of something fruity up to her lips, trying to keep from laughing, while he was thinking of ways he could escape.
“I’ll have you know that means he is fine as fuck, in your gauche terms.” Nettie fluffed up her strawberry blonde hair.
“Oh, that’s rich. Aren’t you the one who told me he said, and I quote, ‘fell for you after watching you suck the heads off of some crawfish?’ Pretty sure that is not the words, or thoughts of some fine upstanding citizen, thank you very much.” Mo fluffed her hair, the action almost comical.
Nettie shrugged. “He was just being honest. I believe that is a good trait to have in my future husband. Besides, we met at Traci’s bar the Naughty Girls. Everyone who is anyone goes there.“
“You’re lucky I love you like a sister, or I’d have you committed.” Mo raised her half empty glass. “Are you just gonna stand there and gape, or introduce yourself?”
Tay looked from three sets of blue eyes, back to the only pair that held him. “Hello, ladies. I think I’ll just go check my emails while you three talk.” Or whatever the hell they were doing. Not once had he saw a look of anger pass over either woman’s face, and Jaqui seemed to take it all in like it was normal. First, being woke by two females singing, or rather killing a great song, then this banter, he was sure he might be the one who needed therapy.
“Nettie, Mo, leave Tay alone. Tay, these are my Aunt Laci’s girls, Mo and Nettie,” she laughed as Nettie flipped her the bird.
“You’re only one year older than we are. I don’t think you need to refer to us as girls, sugar.” Nettie’s voice dripped southern charm.
“Nettie, how long have you been living down in Georgia that you have picked up not only their terms, but that accent?” Jaqui asked, setting the glass down just as a fake piece of fruit was lobbed at her head.
“See, that is what I’ve been saying. Ever since she came home last week, it’s been like that. Seriously! She actually said,” Mo made air quotes. “Musta coulda.” Her eyes rounded in mock horror.
“Do you think we need to take her to the doctor? Maybe she was abducted by one of those aliens she swore she saw back in high school,” Jaqui said with a laugh.
“Now, you listen. Don’t be thinking yer too big for yer britches. I can still take you down. Heck, last week at the Naughty Girls, I whipped the shit out of a chick.” Nettie cracked her knuckles.
Laughing, Mo stepped between them. “I am so not helping you this time, Nettie. The last time she nearly broke my arm and your nose. Besides, you’re the one who’s gone batshit cray cray.”
He watched as Nettie shrugged her shoulder. “I know there is life on other planets. I mean just look at him.” She pointed at Tay. “Real men do not look like that.”
“Hey, eyes off him. He’s not on the menu for either of you heifers,” Jaqui goaded her cousins.
“Oh, no you didn’t just call us that. Hold my earrings, sissy.” Mo pretended to take off said jewelry.
“Well, since I have a party to go to at the country club when I go home with Shep, I guess I shouldn’t teach you a lesson in manners. But, just so you know, I can see you’re sweating like a stripper on Sunday.” Nettie ducked the fruit Jaqui lobbed back at her.
Yeah, he was sure he had a concussion, or he’d stepped into an episode of Punk’d or something.
“Poor man. He has the look.” Nettie wound her arm through Jaqui’s. “Wait till I introduce him to Traci. Traci is somewhat sane. I mean she only shot her ex with a shotgun, but the shell was filled with toilet paper or something like that so they didn’t charge her. I mean it was his fault for having that skank in her bed.”
The woman of his dreams had the nerve to give him a little wave. “Girls, I think you’re scaring poor Tay.”
“Why don’t I give y’all a chance to...um, talk.” He began backing away. If he was asked, he would not admit it, but seeing Jaqui’s twin cousins and their antics scared him a little. He was used to her no nonsense attitude. Tay wasn’t sure how to react to the way the other two looked him up and down like he was a side of beef. Not to mention their easy banter, which he wasn’t sure if they were serious, or not. Grabbing his computer from Jaqui’s room, he headed back toward the big open living area, or the room he would call the front room. Hell, they probably called it something fancy.
“I’m sorry about them. My aunt told them we were here, and of course, they had to come and meet you.” Her soft expression showed her love for the crazy duo.
Holding out his arm, he motioned her forward. “I think they’re...adorable. Besides, they’re your family. One small question though,” he paused, looking around. “They don’t seriously think they can sing do they?”
She burst out laughing, dispelling the anxiety he’d seen as she stepped into the hall leading from her suite of rooms. “If you ask them, they think they sing just like their favorite singers.” She held up a finger for each artist. “From Adele, to Miranda Lambert, to Tim McGraw.” She paused for affect before continuing. “When they’re drunk. However, the rest of us, even when drunk don’t agree. The only blessing is that they never tried out for American Idol, and I don’t think they have plans for The Voice.”
From the honesty in her gaze he was about to ask if that was the truth, but stopped himself. “Go have some fun with your cousins. I’m going to check in with Kai, and go over some emails.” In reality he was going to hack their security and change the codes. No way in hell did he want to wake up to more caterwauling from the twins, let alone anyone else who had access to the property. He’d wait until the other women left before he let Jaqui know.
Still, something nagged at him. Hope? Surely, but a worry and fear that it would all be snatched away made him sweat. He’d never truly loved anyone other than his parents and his SEAL team. Yeah, they may fight like brothers, because in a sense they were, but he knew they could take care of themselves. At the end of the day, any one of them could be taken out on a mission. It was a fact they each knew, but with their training and the fact they had each other’s back, he never really thought of it when he was on a mission. Sighing, he pulled open his emails, automatically deleting over half a dozen before his eyes fell on one that caught his eye.
