“If you ever feel like being wrong, that’s where you can find me,” I said. “My name is Mary.”

“I’m Kit,” he said before turning away from me and walking back toward the door.

Then I got in my car and drove away. I felt confident and smug. I had done it, and it was exciting and exhilarating. It was the most excitement I had ever had in my life. I went to bed thinking about him, and pleasured myself to thoughts of having those strong hands all over me.

A week passed and I waited and waited for Kit to show up at my apartment, but he never did. I couldn’t concentrate in class and I did not want to hang out with our friends. They seemed so boring to me and I needed some excitement. Part of me wanted to go back to the bar, but I didn’t. I was scared to go back there. I did not want to be harassed again. All I could do was daydream about Kit.

On Sunday I was sitting by the window reading a text book and trying to study when I heard the low grumble of a motorcycle. My heart jumped and my breathing grew heavy. I stared out through the glass waiting for the bike to come into view. Would it be him?

CHAPTER TWO

Roar

I held my breath hoping it would be him. The motorcycle came into view and a smile came across my face. It was him. I ran out to the door and then slowly and seductively walked out. I didn’t want to seem too anxious. He pulled up and cut the engine, but he didn’t get off the bike.

He looked just as gorgeous as I remembered. His long black hair with unruly curls was tamed by a bandana and a tight t-shirt hugged his strong chest.

“Hey,” I crossed my arms across my chest and looked at him with lust in my eyes.

“I thought you might like to go for a ride,” he said gesturing for me to get on the bike behind him.

I looked at him and looked at the bike. I had never been on a motorcycle before, and I had never gone off riding with a stranger. I thought about it for only a second. My mind was made up, I was going.

“Let me grab my jacket,” I said turning around and walking inside.

I ran to the mirror and fixed my make up. I grabbed a purse that I could strap on sideways like a messenger back and pulled on a light jacket.

“Who the hell is that?” Lillian said looking out the window.

“That’s Kit. We’re going riding,” I said as I walked out the door.

Lillian called out to me, “Mary, don’t do that. Are you crazy?”

But I didn’t care what she said. I was already gone. I jumped on the bike behind Kit. I sat with him between my legs. I was turned on by being this close to him in this position. He smelled so good and his back was strong and lean. I wrapped my arms around his waist. He turned on the engine and it roared beneath my body. The vibrations shot up through me. I could tell I was in for a wild ride.

Kit drove wildly away from my apartment and I could just imagine the look on Lillian’s face. This was absolutely forbidden in our Ivy League world and most did not break those societal rules. Now, I was doing it. We drove through the collegiate neighborhood and everyone turned and looked. Then we drove further out into the countryside. It was beautiful and it felt very freeing to be on the motorcycle. It was like flying. The tall grass of the fields we passed was turning yellow with the fall season and it swayed in the wind. Plain and simple, I was having fun.

We drove to the coast and he pulled over at an amazing overlook that looked out to sea. We got off the bike and sat at a picnic table.

“I’m glad you came by,” I said looking at him with a smile. “That was a lot of fun. I’ve never been on a bike before.”

“Never?”

“No, never.”

“That does not surprise me. What’s your story Harvard,” he said with an arrogant smirk.

“How do you know I go to Harvard? Is it that obvious?” I asked.

“Yes. We see it every year here. Some preppy Ivy League girl being rebellious against daddy and wanting to be wild, and they look to us to that with.”

“Oh, I see. Well I guess you know everything about me don’t you?” I said a feeling a little bit embarrassed that he had completely nailed it. I was not original. He had seen a million girls like me before.

“No, not everything,” he said flirtatiously.

“Tell me about you. Since you already know me and my type,” I said.

“What do you want to know?” he asked.

“Well what is this?” I said pointing to the wolf tattooed on his arm.

“The wolf, it’s the name of our pack.”

“Pack?”

“Yes, our pack of riders,” he said. “You saw some of them at the bar when I was rescuing you.”

“Oh, right. Thank you by the way. So do you mean like a motorcycle gang?” I asked.

“Yeah, but it’s not 1970. We’re not exactly the Hell’s Angels, but we are a gang of riders that stick together and stand up for each other. We’ve all had a hard life, it’s good to have that support.”

“That’s cool,” I said not knowing what else to say. Anytime anyone said they had a hard life it made me feel embarrassed about my silver spoon life. I always felt like they were taking a shot at me. I quickly wanted to change the subject.

“So tell me, Kit. If I’m just another daddy’s girl that you’re use to dealing with, why did you come pick up today?” I asked.

“Well because you did something none of those other girls had ever done,” he said.

“What’s that?”

“You came looking for me. You came looking for me in a very dangerous place for a little girl like you. I admired that spirit and courage. It’s sort of reckless, like me. I thought we would get along. It made you seem different to me,” he smirked at me.

“Or I’m stupid,” I laughed.

We laughed together and it lightened the mood a bit.

We sat and talked for an hour. He told me about his life and growing up in Boston. He told me about the gang and about hanging out at The Pipe. Even though he looked dangerous and mysterious he was actually a genuine and smart man. I liked him more with each passing minute. My lust was blossoming into like. Then he stood up in front of me and locked eyes with me.

“So why are we here Mary? Do you want me? Did you want me to take you? Did you want me to fuck you so you could tell your friends you were with a dirty dangerous biker?” he said.

I gasped at his remark. It was part insulting and part erotic. I didn’t know how to react to it. I felt turned on but at the same time I wanted to slap him for talking to me like that. I was speechless and stumbled over my words.

“I…” I tried to speak, but he cut me off. His mouth covered mine and his lips pressed hard against me. I moaned inside his mouth and I became nervous. He was so hot that I didn’t know how to handle what was happening. I wanted him badly. He pulled away from me suddenly.

“Is that what you wanted? Or you want more?” he asked

“More,” I whispered.

He gave me a little sideways smirk and then planted his full pouty lips on me again. Only this time it was softer and sensual. He put his hands on my arms and ran them down the length of them. I immediately had goose bumps all over body. He grabbed my hands with his and squeezed them. It was very romantic. I wanted more. I wanted him inside of me. I wanted him to fuck me. I was ready for all of it.

Kit pulled away from me and then said, “It’s getting dark. I should get you home.”

I smiled at him. I knew that meant that we should go to my apartment and finish what we started here.

“Okay,” I said.

We hopped on the bike and drove back through the countryside back to my neighborhood. It was dark when we pulled up to my apartment. I hopped off the bike and waited for him to turn off the bike, but he didn’t.

“Aren’t you coming in? I asked.

“No, that’s not a good idea,” he said.

“But, I thought…”

“That I would fuck you? Mary, stick to your own kind. I’m nothing but trouble for you.”

Then he drove off. I stood there frozen with my mouth wide open. I don’t understand what had happened. I was upset and then I was angry. I stomped inside like a little girl and threw myself on my bed.

The next day in class I couldn’t stop thinking about Kit. I loved everything about him. I liked the way he moved with a walk that exuded confidence. I liked the way he talked, even when he was being arrogant it turned me on. Now, I had to deal with the fact that he thought I was I was a silly preppy girl. It was hard to concentrate in class. I attempted to take notes but the day was lost on me. I wanted to see him again. The fact that he told me to stay away only made me want him more. Every day that week I studied by the window just in case he decided to come again. He never did. I started to lose hope.

“You have to come tonight!” Lillian yelled at me from her bedroom.

“Oh I don’t really feel like it,” I yelled back. She was trying to convince me to go to a college party. I really had no interest in going. I already knew what it would be like and I knew it would be bored. Lillian stomped into the living room.

“Please tell me you’re still not thinking about that dirty boy,” she said rolling her eyes.

“He’s not dirty. He’s hot, and so what if I am?” I said to her in a flat tone.

“You know that can only lead to bad things. If you’re father knew he would not approve,” she said.

“Well he won’t know. I’m aloud to have some fun. I’ve been under his roof following his commands forever I’m tired of it. Besides I have not seen Kit in days. I not sure he will ever want to hang out again. He says I should stick to my own kind,” I said with a sigh.

“See! Even he knows it’s wrong. It’s good advice. Now come on! Let’s enjoy college. Come for a while and if you are not having fun then you can leave. Okay?”

“Fine, I’ll drive, but you will have to find your own way home because I’m positive I will leave early,” I said finally giving in. I could use some time away from my watch at the window.

“Yes!” Lillian jumped up and down.

I laughed at her and got dressed. An hour later we were at the party. It was the typical college party with lots of underage drinking and games like beer pong. I sat outside taking in the fresh air listening to Lillian and few other classmates talk about our professors. I didn’t drink at all. Normally I would because that is the only way these things are fun. But I knew why I wasn’t drinking. I was leaving early and I had a far drive ahead.

Later into the night Lillian was drunk and making out with some random guy. He was the basic sweater and khakis guy with the perfect hair cut. He was dull and boring to me.

I snuck away to my car. I drove out The Pipe. It was late and I felt nervous and scared about going this late. If Kit wasn’t there I could end up in the same dangerous position as before. I pulled into the lot and saw Kit surrounded by guys standing near their motorcycles. I was in luck. My nice car pulling up caused everyone to look. Kit looked at it and knew it was me immediately. He gave me a disapproving shake of his head and then walked over.

“What are you doing here Mary? I thought I told you I wasn’t good for you,” he said.

“Can’t I decide what isn’t good for me?” I said with a smile.

“I have missed you. I’m not going to lie. You’re different. Not what I expected,” he said looking at me with genuine sincerity in his eyes.

“We were going to bonfire on the beach,” he said.

“That sounds like fun,” I tilted my head to the side waiting for my invitation.

“Want to come with us?” his eyebrows arched up.

“Yes.”

Soon I was wrapped behind Kit on his motorcycle. The loud rumble of several engines roared and trembled. Then there was a long line of bikes pulling out of the parking lot. It was quite the sight. I had to admit, at night the bike ride was much scarier. My adrenaline was flowing through me and I understood the rush of living your life through motorcycles. It was fun and reckless. The possibility of danger at every turn was prominent. I tucked my head behind his back and hung on tighter.

They pulled into an isolated beach and began to dismount and make their way to the beach. I heard a lot of whispers of disapproval and snickering. I looked at Kit.

“My friends disapprove,” he said.

“So do mine,” I told him.

He laughed and grabbed my hand and led me out to the sand. The group of bikers consisted of very tough looking guys and girls. The girls particularly gave me evil glares and I would be very scared if I was not with Kit. I got the overall vibe that I was not welcomed at all.

The group built a bonfire and then sat around it smoking and drinking beer and being loud. Kit gave me all his attention and I was glad for it.
