About the Author

KARYN LANGHORNE graduated from Harvard

Law School and was a law professor for several

years. She eventually gave up her practice in order

to devote more time to her husband and two

daughters, and to pursue her writing career. She is

the author of

July 2005). In addition, she has written three

nonfiction books, a play that opened off-Broadway,
