“Love you, Evan,” Alek whispered tenderly. Whimpering softly, Evan had no choice but to let go and surrender at least as much as he’d ever had before. Walls came down which he’d never been able to shift before in all of the times when he’d been with anyone other than Alek or in addition to him.

“Harder, Luka,” Alek said, reading Evan’s cues.

The emotion chased up on Evan, wanting to scratch away at the peace he’d found in submission, but when Luka began to thrust harder, it helped. The ache overtook the sadness. The tears dried up.

Evan sucked Alek as best he could, loving the way Alek rode his mouth so carefully, taking as much as he dared, chasing need.

“Harder,” Alek said more sharply.

Luka started fucking Evan with force, holding him by the hips and driving in, staying sheathed and just giving it to him. With the sound of Luka’s growls in his ears, Evan had to let Alek slip free again, panting and groaning, the breath knocking out of him with each thrust.

“You want him to come?” Alek asked in a whisper, holding Evan’s jaw in a hand, watching his face work around the anguish.

Yeah
,” Evan admitted with a whine, bearing down against the hard pounding his ass was getting.

A few more thrusts and Luka came with a hard gasp, holding inside Evan as he unloaded, giving him everything.

“Okay?” Alek asked, caressing Evan’s skin while he panted, sweating and trembling.

Evan nodded. Luka pulled out, making Evan moan. Without prompting, Evan crawled forward. Alek caught his mouth in a rough kiss. Hands spread Evan’s ass open wide and he could feel how wet he was, the come dripping from his well-fucked hole. He tried to clench up and keep it in, but then a finger stroked through his rim and the warm fluid. Evan moaned. The bed shifted, the kiss went on. Then he was being filled again, with Alek. Letting out a rough, desperate cry, he felt Alek slide easily in to the hilt in one thrust. Luka’s come slicked the way. Fingers rubbed along Evan’s wet rim and he broke the kiss to breathe. He was too full to draw a full breath and lifted his head, cursing, “
Fuck. Ahh, fuck.
...”

They sat him down on it with a squelch, and Evan was able to lean back against Luka, impaled on Alek. His heart was racing, his breathing heavy, his head swimming, body aching. He couldn’t think, couldn’t move, and could only try to bear it, so full of Alek, he throbbed. Luka must have been straddling Alek’s legs too. Evan was comforted to have him there, holding him up. When Luka’s hand began to play with Evan’s aching dick, it fried the last connection Evan had to sanity, sense, or self-consciousness. Pushing into every light stroke, Evan circled his hips, riding Alek’s cock and chasing his own release.

“Fucking look at him, Aleksy,” Luka breathed. His lips brushed Evan’s neck. Whimpering softly, Evan reached back to grip a handful of Luka’s hair and rode Alek a little harder. Alek was pushing up against Evan in a steady rhythm, trying to get more, his hands clamped down tightly against Evan’s thighs.

“Jesus, Ev,” Luka hissed. His fingers brushed downward, away from Evan’s shaft and over his balls, fondling them for a moment before caressing up Evan’s abdomen to his chest. With both hands, Luka pinched and twisted Evan’s nipples.

Grunting, humming, Evan stroked himself as he climaxed, painting Alek’s chest with come as Luka’s roughened breaths came just as hard against Evan’s ear. His body tightened up around Alek, and every last drop was wrung from Evan as he trembled. Alek cried out in complaint, gripping Evan even more tightly, pushing that much harder up into him.

Then, spent, Evan let go, slumped forward. They helped move him as Alek shifted, bracing his feet on the bed. Luka shifted, too, and then Evan couldn’t feel him there, solid warmth at his back, any longer. But when he was on his hands and knees atop Alek, and Alek began taking him with long, sharp thrusts, Luka pulled Evan’s cheeks apart and watched Alek take him. And Evan let go, gave in, moaning softly. It went on and on and he hoped it would never stop. Though the sore ache in his body was strong, it would just wash over him, lapping against the edge of tolerance again and again, but always falling back, receding with the tide until the next push, the next moan.

Alek came while gasping against Evan’s parted lips, holding him, owning him completely. Then Luka folded himself over Evan’s back, wrapping him in another set of arms, another type of love. Boneless, blissful, Evan couldn’t move, wouldn’t speak, as they took the blindfold off at last.

His eyelashes were wet, smeared with tears. Kissing each of Evan’s eyelids, Alek sighed, “Evan.”

But he could only sink deeper into their combined embrace and pray it would last, just a little bit longer.

Chapter 12
Evan’s Instincts

Every time Evan woke during the night, initially confused by the presence of bodies on both sides of him in the bed, it would take him a moment to realize why he was barricaded in. Then, he would grin and chuckle softly before burrowing back into the enveloping arms of Luka and Alek. Though Luka was more of a constant cuddler than Alek, Evan knew Alek also liked to snuggle up close during the night. So, when at one point, Evan had two sets of arms winding around him, he really started to chuckle. Someone kissed him, and he wasn’t even sure who it was, since he was half-asleep and wholly unable to decide in the dim light who he was facing.

Murmuring, “So weird,” he drifted back off to sleep.

Come morning, he was still smile-happy and quite sore. Alek was the first to try to slip from bed, smiling at Evan’s smile.

“Come back!” Luka complained, clutching Evan more tightly to his chest as Alek tried to leave, like he was taking Evan hostage in order to lure his brother into bed a little longer.

“Why? I’m awake,” Alek argued in whisper. “Cuddle Evan.”

“Mmm,” Luka grunted.

Shortly thereafter, the shower was turned on in the adjoining bathroom, the water running audibly through the pipes in the walls.

“Sore?” Luka asked quietly.

“Yeah,” Evan admitted.

Luka caressed Evan’s bare thigh, then slid his hand up the inside of Evan’s leg. Palming Evan’s erection, then kissing behind Evan’s ear, Lukaasked, “Want help falling back asleep?”

Luka’s hand wrapped Evan’s cock more tightly and began to stroke while he thrusted lazily through the crease of Evan’s ass. Exhaling heavily, writhing slightly and pushing into the touch, Evan shut his eyes. He realized he was holding back when Luka said in a whisper, “Lemme hear you. Love to listen to you come, Ev.”

It was slow and perfect, quiet and amazing. Evan didn’t try to disguise how heavy he was breathing or his small grunts and gasps. Luka’s kisses tickled over the side of his neck, the back of his ear and he quickened his pace, tugging Evan closer to orgasm, as if to provoke even more plaintive sounds. Evan pushed harder into Luka’s fist as he got close. After rolling Evan onto his back, Luka sank down Evan’s body and swallowed him down. While he sucked Evan off, Luka stroked himself with his hand pushed down inside his boxers. Watching that pushed Evan over the edge, fast. Luka swallowed Evan’s load, then came a moment later, catching the mess in his boxers.

Evan came down slowly while Luka hurriedly shed the soiled underwear and did a makeshift clean-up job with wipes before cuddling back up to him.

Humming happily, Luka kissed Evan’s grin and they both easily fell back asleep.

Eventually, they had to wake up. They each took a shower. Evan was the last to finish and get dressed. When he finally made his way out to the kitchen in search of food and coffee, he found the twins in hushed conversation by the coffee pot. They stopped talking and looked his way.

“Hey,” Evan said awkwardly. “Oh, I guess I need to tell you that Luka and I—”

“Oh, he knows,” Luka cut in. “I gave the full report.”

“Is that why you and Bren get up so late all the time? You blow him to get him to stay in bed longer?” Evan teased as Alek offered Evan his favorite mug from the cupboard.

“I admit to nothing,” Luka said evasively, with a wicked grin.

“Yeah, right,” Evan chuckled, filling the mug with coffee, breathing in the delicious aroma.

“How are you feeling? If you’re sore, we can take it easy today,” Alek said.

“My ass isn’t
that
delicate,” Evan argued. “I’m fine. I was thinking of going to see Jimmy. Actually going. Sorry about the lying again. And we need to call Bren.”

“I talked to him for a whopping thirty seconds about an hour ago,” Alek replied. “He was on his way out to the cemetery and was calling to say good morning and not to worry.”

“Oh,” Evan said, unable to hide how disappointed he was. “I wouldn’t want to bother him while he’s there. I guess I’ll have to wait a little longer before trying to call again.”

“I know you miss him,” Alek said. “Send him a message. Tell him to call you back when he’s done.”

“Yeah,” Evan grumbled, going for the creamer in the fridge.

“Luka has a shift at the gym to get to, but I was going to head out to the grocery store to get some stuff to make for dinner tonight and get some basics, too. We’re low on bread and eggs and a few other things. How about we go out together? We can visit Jimmy, then go past the grocery store on the way home.”

“This is because of what we talked about last night, isn’t it?”

“If you’re tired of hiding in here, then we need to start doing things together more. It can be like a trial run to see what it’s like to be doing normal stuff together without being obvious that we’re
together
.”

Evan smiled. “Yeah, okay. That sounds nice, actually.”

Once they were in the car and headed to Jimmy’s, a few things occurred to Evan, steadily draining away his happy morning glow.

Evan had never been to Jimmy’s for a visit with Alek before, or at least with
just
Alek. Sometimes, Evan got the sense that Jimmy kind of held Alek responsible for everything that happened to Evan since he’d met Alek. There was also the sticking point that Alek was the first boyfriend of Evan’s that Jimmy had ever met, face to face, so Evan suspected Jimmy held Alek responsible for what other guys had done, too. He hoped there wasn’t going to be awkwardness, especially with Evan aching from being so freshly fucked.

There were a lot of questions Jimmy knew to ask about Evan’s past and track record, which neither Alek, nor Luka, or Brennan, had would have ever thought to voice. Because Jimmy asked, he knew a lot more about where Evan was coming from than his boyfriends or his brother. Maybe, like the suicide attempt, everything Evan tried to hide would all come out anyway, eventually. He hoped not. He was still a fan of the past staying there, and not infecting the present.

Still, the dangerous questions were there, echoing in Evan’s mind, waiting to be voiced.

Why is it Jimmy knows so much about your sex life, Evan?

Why hasn’t Alek asked about the ways you used to meet men, since you met him at a bar through an anonymous bathroom hook-up?

There were more, but those were some of the worst, the ones most obvious and likely to open doors Evan would have bricked shut if he could. Jimmy had reason to dislike Alek. Jimmy had reason to worry.

Maybe Evan should have just avoided Jimmy, like he’d started to once he began fucking around with Brennan. But the worry Evan still had for Brennan was overpowering everything else. Seeing Jimmy would help, so Evan would go to him, even if it was the worst timing in the world.

As soon as they were driving up the narrow lane which led through the fields around the area where Evan grew up, following the path to Jimmy’s front door, something eased in Evan’s heart. He breathed a little easier. He felt more at home as meadows of rippling tall grass, moved by the winter wind, rolled by.

The truck rolled to a stop behind Jimmy’s car, beside his trailer home. Alek shut off the engine and removed the keys from the ignition.

Evan sighed. “Look,” he started, hesitating, “I know you’ve butted heads with Jimmy before. That’s why I usually visit him alone, but I get the whole ‘doing things together more’ thing, so I’m asking you to be cool, okay? I need you to trust the fact that I trust him. He literally saved my life.”

“Hey, I know that. Where’s this coming from?” Alek frowned, taking Evan’s hand.

Evan shrugged. “I guess I still have a bad feeling. That’s kind of why I’m here. Things make more sense when I talk to Jimmy. I don’t even know what’s wrong, honestly.”

Perhaps drawn by the sound of the truck’s engine, or tires crunching gravel, Jimmy emerged with a squint and a smile from the trailer. Holding a hand up to shade his eyes from the glare, he waved. His short, dark hair was tousled by the breeze.

The anxiousness was still there in the pit of Evan’s stomach, formless but real. For a second, he didn’t move, he just watched Jimmy standing there, surrounded by old ghosts.

“Come on,” Alek urged gently.

“Yeah,” Evan agreed with another heavy sigh.

They got out of the car and approached Jimmy. Alek called his hello, smiling. Evan was too preoccupied with the ghosts to speak.
