Casey

“I’m glad you’re home sweetie.” My mom says
to me. “Yea it’s fucking great mom.” I say rolling my eyes. “Even
if you’re not happy I am.” She says back to me. I have been in New
York with my now ex-boyfriend for the last year. We got into some
crazy shit there. Life was always crazy there. I can’t think of a
single day I wasn’t high or drunk in New York. My boyfriend at the
time Spike got me into all kinds of shit. I was a fairly good girl
before I met him. I was going to school to be a clothing designer
and I was damn good at it too. I met Spike through my brother
Garrick. They used to be friends and were in the same MC. Garrick’s
dad is the president. We don’t have the same dad but Prez has
always taken me in as his own. My mom Shelly is a stripper or as
she likes to call herself an “entrepreneur.” I call it as I see it;
she’s a stripper that is sometimes a prostitute. I don’t care
either way. Mom is getting me a job at the club with her so I at
least have a job. Trust me this isn’t my first choice but at least
I will get paid. “Drop me off at Garrick’s will you please.” I say
to her and she huffs. “I got you a damn job. Don’t fucking make me
look bad by not showing up.” She snaps at me. Oh yes I wouldn’t
want to make “Queen of the strippers” look bad. She does that
herself. “Mom, I will be there. I don’t have to be there for
another 6 fucking hours so shut the hell up.” I say looking back
out the window. That was the end of our conversation. The rest of
the drive from the airport is quiet. I'm thankful for that.

We pull up outside the MC and the gates are
locked. That is nothing new. They keep this place guarded like
there is gold in it. My mom presses the buzzer. “Yea what?” The
voice comes over the intercom. “I'm here for Garrick.” My mom says
back to the little grey box. The gates open and we pull through. It
has been a long time since I have been here. It’s been even longer
since I have seen my brother. After I got with Spike and he left
the club my brother kept his distance from him. I never knew what
happened between them and I didn’t ask. I knew Spike wouldn’t tell
me and even if he did it was probably a lie. We drive up the long
drive way and pull up in front of the building. Prez is standing
outside the front door. He smiles when he sees me. I jump out of
the car and run over to him. “Damn I'm glad to see you.” He says
hugging me. “Me too. I missed you.” I say to him as I hug him back.
Prez has always been good to me. He knows I'm not his but he never
says a word about it. Anything I have ever needed has come from
him. He has been around since I was born. “Let me look at you.” He
says pulling back and spinning me around. “Damn it girl you have
grown up. You are so damn pretty.” He says with a smile. “You’re
getting a little grey don’t you think?” I say jokingly touching his
beard. He laughs. “Yea old age will do that to you.” He says
smiling at me. My mom walks up and stares at Prez. “Nice to see you
Shelly.” He says without looking at her. “Yea it is. Hey she needs
to be to work at 8 so don’t let her fuck around here and be late.”
She says and turns and walks off. Prez shakes his head and looks
back down at me. “You better not be stripping at that damn place
Casey.” He says in a harsh tone. “Dad, I'm not. I'm waitressing. “
I say and roll my eyes. “I told you on the phone you don’t need to
work there. I got you covered.” He says putting his arm around me
and walking us towards the door. “I know. I told you I wanted to
make my own money.” I say as I wrap my arm around his waist. He
looks down at me and nods.

He holds the door open for me to go in. I
take a deep breath. I can’t believe I'm back here. I step inside
and everything looks the same as when I left. The same broke down
couches in the back with a few mis match chairs scattered around.
The bar off to the left in front of the staircase. I look around as
I step in and notice a few of the guys I knew from back then and a
few that I don’t know. The one that catches my eye is standing in
the back corner with a beer in his hand. He is massive. I can see
the tattoos snaking out from under his shirt and up his neck. He
has long dark hair that cascades down his shoulders. His eyes look
as black as night from here. He turns and looks over at me and our
eyes lock. The depth of his stare causes me to shiver. There is
something dark in him, I can sense it. I'm snapped out of it when
Prez pulls me along. “Garrick will be out in a second.” He says as
he pulls me towards the bar. I nod and follow. “Oh my god Bell is
that you?” I scream at the blonde girl sitting at the bar. She
spins around with a huge grin on her face. “Casey!!! You’re home!”
she screams and jumps out of her seat barreling towards me. She
jumps on me and we both hit the floor in a fit of laughter. “Oh god
damn I am not standing here for this girly shit.” Prez says and
walks off. Me and Bell roll around the floor laughing. “I'm so damn
glad to see you.” I say to Bell who is trying to catch her breath.
“Girl I have missed you so bad. I'm so glad you’re here. Please
tell me you’re staying?” Bell says as we both stand back up. “Hell
yea I am. You’re stuck with me now.” I tell her as I go in for
another hug. We hop up on the bar and sit talking and laughing.
Bell orders us a beer and we clink them together and yell “Cheers”
and laugh some more. “Get you’re little ass off my god damn bar.” I
hear a familiar voice come from behind me. I purposely stand up on
the bar and tap my foot. “Garrick Garrick, You sir are not my boss.
I don’t know who in the hell told you that you could boss me around
but you’re dead wrong if you think that will happen.” I say in a
serious voice while keeping a straight face. Garrick rounds the bar
and stands in front of me. “Well is that so? Because I seem to
remember being older and wiser than you.” He says with his hands on
his hips. “You got the older part right.” I say and smile down at
him. I jump off the bar into his waiting arms. He spins me around
and I laugh. It has been a long time since I have laughed. “I'm so
glad you’re back girl.” He says setting me on my feet. “Me too
Garrick. I missed you a lot.” I say hugging him. “I’ve missed you a
lot too.” He says as he kisses my cheek. “So how are you? You look
great.” He says spinning me around. “I'm good. Just a lot to take
on you know. Being back here.” I say and look down. When I left it
wasn’t on such good terms. I feel bad for everything that happened
but what could I do. “You’ll be fine. We got you, you know that.”
He says as he puts his hand under my chin and lifts it so I look at
him. “Thanks Garrick.” I say and smile at him. “So where you
staying?” He says as he grabs a beer off the counter. “Haven’t
decided yet. Probably with mom for now.” I say and he cuts his
eyes. “The hell you will. You have enough to deal with without her
shit. You can stay with me or here at the club.” He says taking a
long drink of his beer. “I'm not a baby Garrick and I am not
staying with you.” I say and grab my beer. “Fine then stay here.
You are not staying with that woman.” He says and I nod. He and mom
never get along. He knows what she’s like and what she does. She
doesn’t go out to do what she does she brings her work home with
her. I’d rather not deal with that either.

Garrick says he has some stuff to take care
of and then he will show me my room. I say ok and I hang out with
Bell and a few of the guys I know. We are laughing and having fun.
“Who is the guy in the corner?” I ask Duke. Duke is one of the
older guys here. He is the funniest person I have met. Duke turns
around and looks to the guy I'm talking about. “Oh that’s Draven
with the dark hair and the blonde is Tracker. They have been here
awhile. Came right after you left. Good guys although Tracker is a
little creepy.” He says with a fake shiver that makes me laugh.
“How many new guys have you got?” I ask. “About 10. You’ll meet
them later. They are out on a run. Them two.” He says pointing over
his shoulder. “Just got back from a run.” He says and picks up his
beer. “The club has grown since I left.” I say chugging my own
beer. “Yea it has. Shit’s getting bigger and better.” Duke says and
winks at me. I smile at him and grab Bell’s arm. “Let’s dance
girl.” I say and head over to the jukebox. I punch in a few numbers
and get some music going. Me and Bell dance all over the floor. She
grabs my hips and we sway to the music. I really have missed this
place. It gives me a sweet calm feeling like I’ve never had before.
Me and Bell are still dancing when I hear her yelp. I turn around
to see what she’s doing and see too massive bodies. “Tracker I told
you about slapping my ass. If you do it again I'm going to kick
yours.” Bell snaps at the blonde guy. “Oh Bell you know you like
me. I don’t know why you can’t just admit it and move on.” He says
smiling down at her. I can see her blush. “Yea well one day. Hey
this is my girl Casey. She’s Prez’s daughter.” Bell says pulling me
up next to her. “Hey Casey nice to meet you.” Tracker says and
extends his hand. I take it and he shakes it. “You too.” I say
smiling up at him. “Didn’t know Prez had a daughter. What’s up?”
Draven says in a harsh voice looking at me. “The sky is up and
apparently so is your dick. May want to take care of that.” I say
looking up at him. Bell breaks out in a fit of laughter. Even
Tracker breaks into a smile. I still got it. Draven steps a little
closer to me. “Nice meeting you too there funny girl.” He says and
walks away. I start to laugh and look at Bell. “Well he is just
charming.” I say and she smiles. “Isn’t he though? He is so
boyfriend material.” She says and laughs. “You girls behave
yourself. I got to talk to Prez. I’ll see you two in a while.”
Tracker says chuckling and walks off. Me and Bell go back to our
beer and dancing.

Draven

“I'm so fucking glad that run is over.” I say
to Tracker as we jump off our bikes and head into the club. “Fuck
yea man, me too. That shit seemed to go on forever.” Tracker says
taking off his jacket. We go walk into the club and it’s pretty
empty. I know the other guys are out on a run right now but damn
this place is like a graveyard. We walk up to the bar and grab a
few beers from the new bartender. She isn’t bad looking. Tall with
big boob’s blonde hair. No not bad at all. Bell is sitting at the
bar when we walk over. “Hey Bell. Been like this all day?” I ask
her. “Fuck yea. Haven’t had shit to do around here.” She says and
grabs her beer. I'm not sure how Bell fits in around here. I know
she has been around since she was little from what I hear. No one
really talks about it much. I don’t think she is related to any of
the guys but I couldn’t say 100% for sure. She’s a nice girl
though. I know the skanks that come in here are jealous of her but
none of them mess with her. “Clean something. Isn’t that what you
females are supposed to do?” I say to her with a slight smile.
“Fuck you Draven clean yourself. You men are some of the nastiest
creatures I have ever seen. I swear a pig rolling around in the mud
is cleaner than you idiots.” She says and throws her bottle cap at
me. I laugh at her. “So about that fuck you part. How about fuck me
instead of him?” Tracker says and grabs her ass. She stands up and
slaps him. I laugh hard. “I have seen the things you take to bed
Tracker. I’d rather cut my own arm off than touch you. I don’t know
what those skanks walking around here got but I know I don’t want
it.” She says and walks past him. I laugh again. “Damn man she
hates you. What the fuck you do to her?” I say slapping his back.
“I ain’t done shit to her. Mouthy little bitch.” He says and grabs
another beer.

I walk upstairs to Prez’s office and knock.
“Yea come in.” He yells and I open the door. “What’s up Draven?
Come in and sit down.” Prez says and I do. “Tracker said you wanted
to talk to me.” I say as I sit in the chair in front of his desk.
“Yea. I wanted to thank you for what you did over in Arizona. Sly
said you took a lot of shit but called in some favors. I appreciate
that man.” He says. Shit got a little crazy on our last run and I
took a lot of shit off of it. I knew some boys down there so I
called in a few favors and got shit straightened out and got us off
the hook with the sheriff over there. “Not a problem Prez. You know
I'm glad to help out.” I say. “That was more than helping out man.
You could have taken a world of shit and you didn’t . You could
have turned quick as fuck and you didn’t.” He says looking at me.
“Prez I wouldn’t have turned shit. You know that. I'm just doing my
job like everyone else.” I say looking back at him. He nods. I
start to stand. “Hey we are having a little party this weekend. Let
the guys know would ya. Plan on firing up the grills and shit.”
Prez says as I head to the door. “Sounds good.” I say as I walk out
of the door. I head back downstairs and into my room for a while. I
lay down on the bed. I wish I could sleep. I'm so damn tired and I
can’t fucking sleep ever. Every time I close my eyes I see her
face. This shit is messed up. I wish that shit would go away. Life
would be so much fucking easier. Fuck it I decide to jump in the
shower.
