“Aiden is such
an asshole!” I shout on an exhale, slumping onto the couch and begin to explain
to tell them both the entire story from the beginning.  “I bet we scared
the hell outta Hunter, he didn’t have anything to say when I said bye to him
before leaving the room.”

Chase’s eyes
light up, she shoots off the couch in a sprint. “Hunter’s in Aiden’s
suite?  I’ll see ya!” She tosses out before flying out the door.

Luke takes my
hand. “Listen, he fucked up, sure, but so have you.  We all do, more than
once.  It’s all part of being in love Cammie.  We lose our shit, we
mess up, but you have to be able to get through it and make up if you want it
to go anywhere.” He sighs, “I know you belong with him.  Last night, I saw
the way you looked at each other.  That look is what I ache to have with someone.
To feel like you’ll burst at the seams if you can’t hold them, making sure
every kiss is better than the last in case you don’t get another.  Cammie,
that’s what you have with Aiden.  It’s so rare, so fucking special.
Don’t let it go because of flaws, or bashing heads in passion.  I’m not
sticking up for him. I’m on your side, always, but that’s why I’m saying this
to you now.  You two are better together. Passion is something you can’t
work on and make with time.  You and I, we didn’t have that, but you have
it with Aiden.”

A knock on the
door, makes Luke chuckle. “Didn’t think it would take him long.” He says
standing, then walks over and opens the door.  I can’t see him with Luke
standing there, but I can feel him.  Aiden. “Well, get in there and talk
to your girl.” Luke says, turning to me he blows a kiss then disappears into
the hall as Aiden steps into the room.

I stand to walk
to him, desperate to touch him, but he charges me before I can move my
feet.  Wrapping me in his arms, Aiden slams his mouth to mine.  Our
tongues tangle, my fingers sliding along his scalp; the taste of him sending me
into a frenzy.  The rough stubble of his hair brushing against my hands,
reminding me that he is really here. “I’m sorry, baby.” He pants against my lips.
The sigh that escapes my mouth, is enough for him to turn and pin me to the
wall beside the couch.  Aiden wraps my legs around his hips, the heels of
my sandals digging into his denim clad ass.  His mouth feverishly
attacking my neck, my hands slide down to his shoulders where my nails dig into
his skin.  I tilt my hips up, grinding against him, both of us frantic to
get closer to each other.  Aiden tilts his hips back away from me, an
attempt at retaining control over the situation; but I have bigger plans.
I know I am submissive.  Never have I felt as satisfied as those times I
gave over control to Aiden; but right now, I want to make both of us lose
control all over my hotel room.  No thoughts, no plans, just us.
Here and now, nothing else matters.

Dropping my feet
back to the floor, I shove Aiden’s chest.  Taking all the power I can
muster, and catching him off guard, he staggers back, tumbling onto the couch.
“Cam, what the fuck?  I thought…” is all he manages before I launch onto
the couch on top of him.  Attacking his mouth, taking, seizing,
controlling…and it feels amazing.  Aiden reacts, finally, his hands
sliding down, cupping my ass through my skirt. “I know what you’re doing,
Camaron.” He scolds.

“Do you?” I
pant, fumbling with his jeans. “Then why am I doing it by myself?” I ask with a
wicked grin.

“Camaron, if you
try to top me, baby, I won’t fuck you.” He warns. “You want me to fuck you,
don’t you?”

Oh, he has no
idea.  I want it more than my next breath, but I want this my way.
To get the rush, I got in the ‘Burban the only time he ever let me have the
reins, but even then I didn’t really have them.  Now, though, I want it
all.  I want nothing more than to watch him come undone beneath me; all
because of me, not a groupie or some random piece of ass. “No, Sir.” I purr. “I
want to watch your face, while I fuck you.” His eyes close as if in pain, but
the groan in his throat tells me otherwise.  He’s turned on…a lot.
Lifting my skirt, I grind my ass into his lap.  His head falls back against
the couch, a low moan slipping from his lips.

“Fuck me now,
Cam.” He commands, meeting my eyes. “Just so you know, later, I’m going to
spank your ass a beautiful shade of red before I fuck you from behind right
over there.” He says jerking his chin to the mirrored glass. “That way you can
watch every slap against your ass from my hand and from this.” Aiden thrusts up
against me, making me cry out in desperation.  Reaching up, he yanks the
string along my hip, ripping my lace underwear free from my body.

“Condom… in my
front pocket,” He mumbles, his hands running up my thighs.

Since I’m on the
pill, we never used condoms.  I wouldn’t now, if the nagging in the back
of my head wasn’t reminding me of the ‘other women’.  Did he use a condom
with them?  How many of them were there?  Oh my God.  I can’t do
this. “Aiden…” I choke on the rest of my words.  His eyes meet mine, his
fingers stopping their movement up my legs.  His eyes look at me with
worry, trying to assess what I’m thinking.  The fact is, we never
discussed this stuff when we met, it wasn’t important.
Those women
aren’t important now either, it’s just us here.

Yanking the
condom from his pocket, I lean back enough so I can yank his jeans down,
freeing his erection.  Tearing the foil between my teeth, I roll the
condom down his length, slowly. “Damn you, Cam, I’m goin’ to lose it!  You
better ride it like you fuckin’ stole it.  Right.  Now.”

Slamming down on
him, the breath rushes out both of us.  I smile victoriously, rolling my
hips against him slowly.  Rising up, bit by bit, I slam down again fast
and hard. “I didn’t steal it…” I moan, rolling my hips again. “I fucking own
it.” His eyes heat, his fingers grab the hem of my shirt, ripping it from my
body.  Right now, I couldn’t give a shit about my clothes, rip them all;
but this is all about tit for tat.  My fingers slide up his stomach,
pushing the shirt up inch by inch as I go.  My hips lift, slam back down
and roll in perfect time to Aiden’s hips thrusting up into me.  I drag my
nails down his chest, rolling my hips against him again and again, dragging it
out as long as possible. The fact that we could be caught any second doesn’t
escape my thoughts.  Chase and Luke both have keycards, either one could
walk in and find us like this.  The thought makes me nervous, to a point,
but I find myself uncontrollably turned on at the fact that Aiden couldn’t wait
another second.  Hell, neither could I.  Aiden is still pretty much
fully clothed.

“Goddamn
Wildcat.” He growls, with a grin.  Aiden’s thumb circles my clit in small,
slow circles sending me out of my mind.  My head falls back, sensation
running from my head to my toes.  Nothing has ever felt as good as when
Aiden and I are together.

“Aiden!
Please!” I scream, exploding around him.  His hand grabs my hip, thrusting
wildly.  A loud roar bursts from his chest, his orgasm ripping through
him.  I collapse onto his chest, both of us gasping for breath.
Aiden’s arms hold me tightly against him, like he thinks I will just disappear
if he lets go.

“God Cam, I’ve
missed you so much.  Don’t leave me anymore, please.” He pleads, kissing
my forehead. “I can’t lose you again.  It’s so fucking dark without you.”

Leaning up, I
look into his eyes.  The brown so dark and pained, it makes my heart hurt.
“I’m not going anywhere, Aiden.  Talk to me, please.” I whisper, pleading
for him to tell me anything. “Help me understand.  I need you to trust me
enough to let me in.”

His eye brows
bunch in confusion, “There’s no one I trust more than you, Cam.” Aiden sighs,
searching for the words.  Sitting up, he situates us on the couch so that
he has some distance from me.  He buries his face in his hands. “The
things I have to say, I’ve never said out loud to anyone.  You’re the only
one I’ve ever even thought about telling this shit to.” Aiden chokes out,
making me want to hold him, to let him know that I’m here.  Reaching out,
I run my fingers along his shoulder, but Aiden doesn’t even move. “Just,
please, give me time and I’ll share everything with you.” Looking up at me, his
face is pale, his hands trembling. “I’ll give you the fucking world.  Just
for you.  Only you, Cam.  You do own me, body and soul.  As long
as I live, there could never be anyone else.  I’m just scared as shit
you’ll fuckin’ run once you hear everything that’s in here.” His hand presses
against his chest. “It’s dark, twisted, and completely fucked up baby; but it’s
yours.”

Sliding to my
knees, in front of him, I push between his thighs.  My hands grab the hem
of his shirt, pulling over his head.  Taking his hand, I press them to his
chest.  The warmth of his skin, the beating of his heart against my hand,
it’s overwhelming. “I love you, Aiden.  The only reason I would leave is
if you didn’t love me.  Even then, leaving you would break me.”

Launching from
the couch, Aiden presses me into the carpet, mauling my mouth.  Biting my
lip, eating me alive, and I love it! “I fucking love you, Cam.  Now, I
think it’s time to rip the rest of this shit off you.  It’s about damn
time I enjoy that hot little body of yours properly.”  He says, his voice
dripping with authority.  The sexy tone makes me shiver, earning me a grin
from Aiden.  Yes, I’ve missed the hell out of this, and I plan to get
reacquainted with my dominant Aiden.  Later, we will talk.  I just hope
he can get through what he needs to say, then I can prove to him I will still
be here.

Chapter
Nine

Unwelcome
Memories and Uninvited Guest Appearances.

*Aiden*

Lying here, in bed
with Cam, I can’t help but feel the shift in everything.   Her
sleeping form curled against me, I’m unable to resist touching her.  I
feel like if I don’t touch her, then she isn’t here.  After kneeling in
front of me and telling me she wouldn’t leave me; I couldn’t resist dragging
her to her bedroom, taking her again and again.  Now, she lies sleeping,
her head on my chest, and all I want is to wake her.  My mind is spinning
with what needs to be said.  I need her to be with me, to know that I can
count on her to stay with me.  There is so much she doesn’t know, but I
don’t have much time.  Leaning down, I kiss her hair. “Camaron, wake up
baby.” I whisper against her ear. “We need to talk.”

Cam stirs,
stretching sleepily before meeting my eyes.  Those intense blues, making
me want to plunge into the depths and never leave.  This is what she does
to me; just a look, or a touch turns me into a mess of emotions. “Something
wrong, Aiden?” She asks, nervously.

“No, nothing is
wrong.  It’s about time I make things right.” Sitting up against the
headboard, I pull her against my chest.  If I am going to tell her this, I
need to be touching her when I do. “Henry has taken care of Hunter and me since
I was eight.  Before that, life was not so great.” I start to explain.
Camaron starts to move, but I hold her to me. “Please, baby, I can’t say this
without holding you.  You’re my solace, I’ve never needed to hold you more
than I do right now.”

She just nods,
snuggling back against me; Cam waits patiently for me to speak. “My father was
a mean son of a bitch.  He didn’t live with us, but when he showed up, he
was drunk and he had a thick ass leather belt.” I shudder when the echoes of
the slaps against Hunter’s body explode in my head. “Hunter and I shared a room.
When our father came in, Hunter took the brunt of it all.  He would
shove me into a spot that he made in the closet.  I watched my brother get
beat almost every time he did walk through the door; unless he got to me
first.”

Cam pulls back
again, “I’m not pulling away, Aiden.  I want to look at you.” She says
calmly, obviously reading my mind, then straddles my hips. “Talk to me baby,
tell me.” Her fingers stroke along my arms, soothing me.

“Okay,” I say on
a deep exhale. “Mom wouldn’t tell him to leave.  Sometimes, though, he
wouldn’t show up for weeks, but he always came, eventually.  After a
while, Hunter and I would relax, thinking he forgot about us.  That’s when
he would show up, and the longer he stayed away, the angrier he was.
Hunter would never cry, even during the worst beatings.  He just looked at
the floor in silence.  I wanted to help him, fight back.   Damn
it, Cam, I watched while that bastard told Hunter he would stop if he told him
where I was.
‘Where’s your brother, you little shit?  You know you only
get it worse because you’re takin’ his too.’
I mean, who says that to
a kid?  Who says that to
their
son?” I ask. “As bad as that belt
hurt, and, fuck me, baby, it hurt like a bitch, Hunter never gave me up,
once
I was hidden.”

My hands begin
to shake, the memories flooding back so fast I can barely keep up. “Mom, never
stopped him.  It was almost like she disappeared.  Or maybe it was
like Hunter said, if he was beatin’ on us, it wasn’t her” I stop, because tears
are dripping onto my chest.  Looking up, I stare into the tear filled blue
depths; then she shocks me by running her thumbs across my cheeks wiping away
my tears.

*Camaron*

“Don’t…” Aiden
starts, but all I can see is the man I love wounded and broken, after telling
me the one thing he has never told anyone. “Don’t feel sorry for me, Cam.
I didn’t tell you this so you would cry with me and feel sorry for the poor
bastard Chesterfield boys.” He says, breathing heavily.  Aiden’s whole
body has been shaking, once he started talking.  His voice even more
strained as he goes into detail after detail of what he watched Hunter go
through.  I don’t feel sorry for them, I’m pissed off.

“Aiden, the only
bastard is your father.  If I ever meet him, I would gladly beat his ass
and tell him what he has missed out on.” Aiden pulls me flush against him so
that as much of us is touching as possible, but I continue. “I love you.
No one deserves what you two went through.”

I can feel his
anger, his guilt.  Aiden is punishing himself because Hunter hid him;
that, in itself, makes my blood boil.  The fact that an eight year old boy
carried that weight into adulthood is too much.  Knowing Henry saved the
boys only makes me love him even more, hell I even have the warm fuzzies for
Hunter a bit now too.  It had to have been so hard for them both.
Aiden starts to relax into me, his hands clinging to me like a life line.
We sit like this for a long time, just him into the crook of my neck, much like
in the lobby this morning.  My mind whirls, ideas flashing like neon
signs. “Aiden, was that why you were upset this morning?”

Pulling back,
his eyes meet mine, “Hunter and I have to go see her soon.” He says, nodding.

“See her where?”
I ask, curiously, thinking I missed a detail somewhere.

“She’s in prison,
in Georgia, for killing my father.” He chokes out, gripping me tighter. My
heart skips a beat at the information he just dropped.  So, his mother
killed his father?  Is that how Henry ended up with them?  I have so
many more questions, but I wait.  Aiden has been so open and forthcoming
with this tonight.  Knowing that he’s never been this way with me before,
I don’t want to ruin it with questions. “Hunter says she may get out this month
and wants to see us both.  I, Cam…” He stutters, “I can’t.  I fucking
hate her.  She was supposed to protect us, she didn’t.”

“I know, baby, I
know.” I coo, trying to calm him.  I can’t believe he never told anyone
before me “This has to have been eating you alive, Aiden.  I’m glad you
trusted me enough to share it with me.  I think you should go see
her.  I’ll even go with you if you want.  Your mom needs to know how
you feel.  But, more importantly, you need to
tell
her how you
feel.”

Aiden looks at
me in shock, almost as if the words didn’t register. “You’ll drive up with us?”
He asks, barely giving me time to nod before he kisses me.

“Of course I
will, Aiden.  We all have our baggage.” I whisper against his lips. “I was
a foster kid.  My mother had me way too young, and tossed me out like
yesterday’s trash.   My worst fear was being paired with a set of
parents that would hurt me.  I was lucky, but only because I was
quiet.  I never stood out, or made any kind of fuss.  That made me
tolerable, made me safe.” Shaking my head, I blow out a breath. “It also made
me weak and insecure, because I never fought for my place or what I wanted.”
His eyes widen while he takes in my words, so I continue. “We have to figure
out how to move past the bad shit and into the good.  I’ve figured out
that I can’t do anything to change the fact that my parents didn’t want me,
that I have no blood relatives.  But the people I call family are the ones
I’ve chosen to give that title.  They’ve earned it, Aiden.  I don’t
want to look back on things anymore and have regrets.  That’s what you
should do too.  Talk to her, then, whatever happens, you leave it and move
on; whatever that means for you, Aiden.  If you can’t forgive, you can’t,
but that holds you back.  Forgiveness can be just as important for the one
giving it, than the one receiving it.  That choice, baby, is yours to
make, and no one else’s.”

“I can’t believe
you never told me anything about your childhood, Cam.” Aiden says pulling me
into his arms. “You’re not weak.  You’re so much stronger than I ever
could be.  It’s amazing to see things how you see them, baby, with all the
love you have.  You love so damn hard baby, and I want to be better just
so that I deserve it.” The words slam into me, tearing at my heart that he
believes, for one second, he isn’t worthy of everything I can give and
more.  All my love, my heart, my soul, he awakens in me in a way no one
ever has and he thinks he isn’t good enough for me?  I pour everything I
have into the kiss; all my devotion for him, all the things I’ve felt for
him.  The love, the pain, the all consuming need for his touch, for all he
is.  Yes, I began to find myself in Vegas, but here in the bed with Aiden,
I realize that no matter how much time had went by,
I
still would have been his.  Plain and simple, he’s the part that has
always been missing from my soul.  The one who sees to the deepest parts
of me.  Instead of running or expecting me not to make waves, or cause a
problem, he welcomes everything about me.  He
loves
me, in every
sense of the word.

Just as I decide
I’m fine with spending the rest of the night here showing him just how much he
means to me, he pulls back. “Get dressed,
Wildcat
. We
are supposed to grab dinner with everyone, remember?” He asks, slapping my
ass.  The sting from his hand makes me ache for more.  My eyes sizing
up his naked body as he stands, walking to the bathroom; the tattoos lining his
skin begging for me to taste, touch.  I could spend hours devouring
Aiden.  He’s a feast for all my senses, a pleasure that is worth every
single ounce of pain it took to get here now.  I don’t understand how
anyone could have ever hurt him, or let him be hurt.  Hunter may be a
vain, perverted, asshole; but even as a child he wanted to protect his little
brother.  Something he should have never had to even think about at the age
he was when it stopped, but the thought that haunts me is how old were they
when it first started.

“Cam, if you
don’t get ready, I’m going to paddle that ass of yours in the middle of the
damn lobby.” Aiden snaps out playfully.  He stands in front of me, now
fully dressed.

“Sorry, I zoned
out.” I mutter, climbing from the bed.  Grabbing my waist he pulls me to
him, pressing my chest to his, our mouths clash.  My toes barely touching
the ground, our tongues tangle, Aiden’s hands cup my ass, grinding me against
him.

“Hurry up, I’m
hungry,” He growls, releasing me and the way his eyes heat; I know he means for
way more than just food.

***

Half an hour
later, Aiden and I are dressed and waiting in the lobby for everyone to head to
eat.  The elevator doors open, out come Hunter and Henry, followed by
Daisy and Gray.  Letting go of Aiden’s hand, I walk over and wrap my arms
around Hunter, kissing his cheek. “Whoa there, I’m not prepared for this kinda
lovin’.” He says in shock.

“You are such a
good man, Hunter.” I whisper softly between us, because I know it’s true.
He may hide it behind whatever this is, but not just anyone would do what he
has done. “Aiden talked to me tonight, about everything.”

“Did he tell you
that I reamed his ass over him butting into your job shit?” He asks, with a
wicked grin. “I mean that deserves a kiss a slight bit lower, with a little
tongue and teeth.”

I smile, not
because he is back in Cunter mode, but because this is how he deals when shit
gets too emotional. “I know you don’t do emotions, so I’ll leave it at
this.  I know that I could never thank you for everything you did then,
but you’ll never know how grateful I am for you being here for him when I couldn’t
be.”

Looking over, I
blow a kiss at Henry, who just smiles back.  Catching Daisy’s eyes, my
smile drops.  Her face is paper white, her hand going protectively to her
belly as she stares out the doors to the street. Her head shakes in disbelief,
eyes blinking rapidly. “Wildflower, what’s wrong?” Gray asks, grabbing her when
she looks like her knees are about to give out.  Everything happens so
fast I would swear I dreamed it; Daisy nearly falling to her knees, all of us
gathering around them as Gray settles her on the sofa in the lobby, waiting to
see what the hell is going on with her.

“Call an
ambulance.” I say to Henry, who nods, pulling out his phone ready to make the
call.

“Is it the
baby?” I ask, dropping to my knees in front of the couch.  Daisy just sits
there stunned, like she’s seen a damn ghost.  Her hands holding her
barely-there baby bump, not making eye contact with anyone. “Daisy, you gotta
tell me what we need to do?” I plead.

Gasping for
breath, she finally meets my eyes, “He’s here.  How is he here?” She
pants, grabbing my arms, her hands trembling.

“Who Sweets?” I
ask, but a chill runs down my spine.

“Tad,” she
barely manages to get out, before Henry and Hunter bolt through the door of the
hotel onto the street.

Gray sits down
on the couch, pulling her into his arms, “Daisy, he’s in jail.  The trial
starts in a few days, he isn’t here.  It’s alright,” he says, trying to
calm her. “No one is going to hurt you or the baby.”

Aiden’s hand lands
on my shoulder, making me jump to my feet. “Sorry,” He says, wrapping his arms
around me.

“There’s no one
out there.” Hunter says, plopping onto the couch beside Daisy and Gray. “You
okay baby momma?  Scarin’ the shit outta me is a nice way to kill me off
for the life insurance.”

Daisy’s eyes
widen, fear coming off of her in waves. “Hunter, I swear it was him.” She says,
leaning up and pointing to the door. “Tad was standing there, looking right at
me.  He even smiled at me!” Turning, she looks up at Aiden and me,
desperate for someone to take her serious. “I’m not making this up, Cam.
It.  Was.  Tad.” She says, enunciating every word.  Her hands
are trembling so bad, I have no choice but to believe her.
