A light
almost white pink lacy bra, underwear set catches my eye. It has
stockings and a garter belt, it almost looks innocently sexy. I
think Ruxin would love this. I smile. "I think this is the one." I
look around for the sales woman. I get her attention and wave her
over.

"That's
an excellent choice. Would you like to try it on?" She
asks.

"No, I
think I'll just buy it. I know he'll love it. I was thinking of
getting more then one. I like this style, but maybe instead of the
bra. Something more like this." I say, pointing to a sheer short
red dress with lacy panties and stockings without
garters.

"We have
it in other colors." She offers.

"What
color so you suggest?"

"Black,
it's our must popular color of lingerie."

"You know
he's probably seen every one of these pieces of lingerie. You're
wasting your time." Xavier states, mad about something.

"Wow,
thanks so much Xavier." I say, quietly. His words stinging more
then they should.

"I'm
sorry. I'm just pissed off." He replies, seriously.

"Well, if
that's what you do when I introduce you as my brother. I've learned
my lesson." I state, my eyes watering. Knowing he's probably right.
Ruxin, has probably seen all there is to offer in the bedroom
department.

"Fuck,
Eva. I didn't mean it, really. He'll love it." He tries, but my
heart isn't in it. "She'll take them both in her size, please." He
tells the sales woman and walks away. He holds my arms and turns me
towards him. "I really am sorry."

"Why did
you even say that?" I ask, wiping at my tears. He knows it would
hurt me to think of Ruxin's past, but he said it anyway.

He rubs
my arms trying to comfort me. "I was jealous. It was hurtful and
I'm ashamed of myself. Forgive me?"

"Jealous?" I question, nervously. Seeing for the first time
that Ruxin may have been right about Xavier's interest in me. I
step away from his hold and look up to him.

"I didn't
mean to like you, but I can't seem to help it. I want you to be
mine." He declares, his eyes watching my reaction.

My mouth
drops. I look at him to see any sign that he's joking and I'm
disappointed when I only see the truth. I shake my head. "You're my
friend."

"I
know."

"Ruxin
was right." I say, quietly. "I fought for our friendship and he was
right the whole time."

"I'm
falling in love with you, Eva." He says, looking
nervous.

"And I'm
engaged, Xavier!" I yell. Feeling my heart pounding in my chest
from his admission. I hear throat being cleared and I look at the
sales woman.

"How
would you like to pay today?" I open my purse and take out Ruxin's
black card handing it to her. She takes it and walks
away.

"Eva,
please. I didn't set out to be interested in you. It just sorta
happened." He says, running his fingers through his hair. I walk
over to the cash register and the woman hands me back my card and
my shopping bag.

"Thank
you." I say and walk to the front of the store. I ignore Xavier
walking with me. I'm angry that our friendship is going to change.
I really care about him, I'll miss him. If only I would've listen
to Ruxin, none of this would've happened.

I don't
say anything until we are in the elevator at the hotel. "What did
you expect to happen Xavier?"

"Best
case scenario you'd leave Ruxin and be with me. Worst case you'd
stop seeing me."

"I'm not
seeing you. I'm friends with you, there's a difference."

"Will you
at least think about it?"

"Think
about what?"

"Leaving
Ruxin for me. I can make you happy. I could love you better and
you'd never feel uncomfortable with my past. I've never treated
women the way he has."

"Xavier,
-" I start saying, but his mouth on mine cuts me off. He kisses me
sweetly and I push against him, breaking us apart. "Don't do that
again." I say, then see Xavier yanked out of the elevator into the
hallway by a pissed off Ruxin. Ruxin, throws the first punch,
catching Xavier on the jaw. Xavier retaliate's and tackles Ruxin to
the ground, they push and punch each other fighting and
yelling.

"What the
fuck are you doing kissing her?" Ruxin shouts.

"Showing
her she could do better then some piece of shit play boy." Xavier
replies, angrily.

"She's
mine!"

"Just
until she sees what you really are!"

"Alright,
enough! Both of you get up." I yell frustrated. They continue to
fight and I groan. I take out my key card and go into the room
throwing the bag from La Perla against the wall. Finding the ice
bucket I fill it with cold water and walk back out into the
hallway. I pour it on both of them getting their attention for a
second before they go back to killing each other. I go back in the
room and rest against the door.

A light
bulb goes off in my head and I open the door and yell out, "Ruxin
I'm completely naked and pleasuring myself!"

I hear a
few more grunts and Ruxin come through the door, slamming it behind
him. "Liar." He states.

I look
him over. His shirt is ripped, wet and untucked his lip is bleeding
and his hair is a mess. Damn he looks sexy. "Feel
better?"

"I do.
What the fuck were you doing with him?"

"I went
to buy you a gift and he insisted on going." I explain.

"Gift?"

"Yeah." I
reply, feeling stupid for thinking lingerie would be a gift for a
man like him.

"What did
you get me?"

"Nothing." I lie and move to sit on the sofa. I hear the
russle of tissue paper and know he found the La Perla
bag.

"Put this
on." He says dropping the light pink outfit in my lap.

"I'm not
really in the mood." I reply.

He comes
around to the front of the sofa and picks up my leg. He takes off
my sandals and starts pulling my pants off. "Really? Ruxin, don't
you want to talk about what just happened?"

"I know
what happened." He states, still undressing me. My panties and
pants come off and he picks up the pink underwear sliding them on.
He leans down lifting my shirt and tossing it aside. "I really like
my present." He says huskily, putting the pink bra on. Next is the
garter which he puts around both legs and slides into place around
my waist. Picking up the delicate stockings he expertly puts them
on each leg and uses the clips to secure them to the
garterbelt.

Standing
up he holds out his hand to me. I take it and stand in front of
him. His heated eyes roam my body and his fingers touch everywhere
he looks. When his eyes meet mine, he cups my chin with his hand.
His free hand lifts to his mouth and he licks his thumb, then
lowers it to my mouth and rubs my lips like he's wiping away Xavier
kiss. When he's done his head lowers and his lips hovers just above
mine. He kisses me softly at first then deepens making my heart
race. He backs away and leads me to the bedroom. He undresses
himself and lays down with his body propped against the pillows.
I'm about to get onto the bed when he stops me. "No, stand still."
He orders looking me over once again. "Now, undress." He demands.
"Slowly. Start with the stockings." He says, stroking
himself.

I lay
down exhausted. Ruxin Is still breathing hard as he turns towards
me. "We have to get going, Angel. We have a lot to see
today."

"You
still want to go?" I question, happily.

"Why
wouldn't I?"

I look at
him completely stunned. He's not the least bit upset about what
just happened an hour ago? "Ruxin, you fought Xavier. He kissed me,
aren't-" I start to explain.

"Don't
talk about that kiss ever again."

I raise
my eyebrow at his tone, so it does bother him. He just doesn't want
it to ruin our day. I know I have a huge smile on my face, I can't
help it. Sometimes Ruxin is so unbelievably sweet and loving, even
if he doesn't mean to be.

"What?"
He asks, confusion showing on his face.

"Nothing." I state getting out of bed and going to the
closet. I dress quickly in a long dark green Grecian style dress
with a brown belt and brown sandals. I grab a dark brown cardigan
just in case I get cold, it's small enough to fit in my purse.
Walking out of the closet I see Ruxin on the phone pacing the floor
completely naked. He stops pacing when he sees me and holds up his
finger. "Julia, just figure it out and text me the details." He
orders, hanging up the phone. "Two minutes and then we're out of
here." He promises.

"Are you
wearing that?" I joke, sounding completely serious.

"No,
we're going horse back riding. I don't want to make the horses
jealous." He replies just as serious, walking towards
me.

Okay he
wins. I laugh at his joke and push him playfully. "Good one. Now,
get dressed. Although, the thought of you riding completely
bareback is enticing." I wink.

"Really?
I can only think of the beating my balls would take." He replies
making a painful expression and cupping himself.

I laugh.
"It'd be worth the discomfort."

"Not if
you want kids." He smirks walking past me and slapping my butt. I
smile still thinking of him riding bareback. I hear my phone ring
and walk into the living room area for my purse. I dig for my
phone, answering when I see its Xavier. "Xavier, you shouldn't call
me anymore." I say right way.

I hear
his deep sigh. "I'm sorry I kissed you. I shouldn't have and I'm
sorry."

Thinking
about the kiss makes my heart skip a beat. Not liking the change it
causes I get defensive. "You're right. You shouldn't have kissed
me. I'm confused about you, about us. Why did you have to ruin our
friendship? You should've known I'd choose Ruxin." I question
sadly.

"I
couldn't hear you talk about him and seeing you buy those outfits,
it was all too much. I got jealous and I wanted to change your mind
about him. I was hoping there was a chance you'd choose me, no
matter how slight the chance I had to tell you, but I don't want to
lose you. I want you in my life, Eva."

I don't
know what to say in response, but I hear Ruxin coming. "I have to
go." I reply hanging up and shoving my cardigan and phone in my
purse.

He comes
into the living room tucking his dress shirt into his expressive
black trousers. "You know what I'm dying to do?" I ask trying to
distract myself for Xavier's call.

"What?"

"Buy you
a pair of jeans and some tee shirts. Anything but this." I say
lifting my hand to his attire. "Are you even uncomfortable?" I
inquire, knowing he can't be.

"I dress
in the best. How could that be uncomfortable?" He questions
arrogantly.

I roll my
eyes at his response. "Well, You're going to have to go go slumming
with me at some point."

"I prefer
my side of the grass." He pulls me to the door, I grab my purse and
follow after him. We walk to the elevator and I see a table turned
over and a vase shattered.

I decide
not to say anything as we take the elevator to the lobby. Ruxin
looks at me smiling. "What first? London Tower, British Museum?
London Eye?" he asks.

"I
thought you had this all planned out?"

"I do."
He nods. We walk to the car parked at the entrance and Ruxin holds
the door open for me.

"Such
service." I tease.

"Yes,
ma'am." He bows.

I get in
sliding to the far side and Ruxin climbs in after me. I just want
to walk with him. Eat when we're hungry stop when we're tired and
see what we pass."

"Ruxin."

"Yes,
Angel."

"Let's
just walk around." I suggest.

He turns
looking down at me. "No, plans?"

"None.
Let's go get lost."

"Do you
know what I've done to plan everything today?"

I narrow
my eyes. "Absolutely nothing. You made Julia do
everything."

He
smiles. "True. Stop the car please. We won't be needing you after
all. My lady would like to go get lost in the streets of London."
He says, amused.

"Yes,
sir."

I smile
as the car stops and we step out into the fresh air. I see a nice
black wrought iron fence with ivy growing between the bars. "Our
first stop." I say pulling him to the park. He lets me tug him
along. I look at the lush green trees and the paver walk way. The
black light posts making the park even more charming.

"I have
something to tell you." He says, not sounding like himself, is
Ruxin nervous?

I stop
walking and he gently leads me to a large tree. The base of which
is the biggest I've ever seen. He sits down and tugs my hand until
I sit next to him. Whatever he's about to say I know I won't like
it. He knows it too, judging by his already defensive
attitude.
