"It
doesn't matter. Hungry?"

"Yeah."

"Let's go
order room service and watch a movie." I stand up and just as I
bend over I feel an arm go around me.

"What are
you wearing?" Ruxin's voice hisses in my ear. I stand back up,
putting my robe on with his help.

"What are
you doing here? Don't you have work?" I inquire,
knowingly.

"Did you
think I'd let us fight about this over the phone?"

"I would
rather not fight at all. Go back to work, Ruxin."

"We're
talking about this."

"Fine.
I'll see you later, Xavier."

He nods.
"Call me if you need anything."

I nod and
he walks away. I turn back to Ruxin and cross my arms. "Don't ever
wear that swim suite again, it's basically a thong."

"Ruxin,
do you really think that's a good idea right now."

He
watches my face. "Let's go back to the room. I have some things I
want to say."

He takes
my hand and we walk the the elevator taking it to our room. Once
the door closes I feel the tension between us. "I'm sorry you had
to meet someone from my past. Knowing what I know now, trust me I
would have changed a few things. My past and how we started isn't
what I'd want for you. I'm sorry."

I look at
the ground feeling my anger leave. "It's fine. I wouldn't want
someone to hold my past against me. We all make mistakes, just some
more than others." I say, cheekily.

"I really
would change it." He repeats sincerely.

I nod.
"Just don't hurt me like you did them."

"Never."
He nods, putting his hands on my hips and bringing me closer to
him. When I'm flush with his body he wraps his arms and me. "I need
you." He whispers in my ear and I close my eyes savoring the
moment. Even though he didn't say I love you, I think he's getting
pretty close. I smile against his shirt and hug him
back.

"Get
dressed I want to take you out." He orders.

"How
fancy?" I ask, wanting to know what to wear.

"A simple
dress."

I walk to
the bedroom and into the closet taking down a long white dress. I
take off the swim suit and dress quickly. Ruxin comes in,
"Perfect." He says, picking up my swimwear and walking out of the
room. I follow him confused until we get to the living room area
and I see the fireplace is turned on and a nice fire is going.
Doing exactly what I expected he throws the two pieces into the
flames.

He looks
at me completely ready for a fight. I'm not stupid enough to reward
him with one, I know he likes it. I glare at him, "I didn't like it
anyway." I say, smugly and turn around walking to the bathroom to
re-apply my makeup.

I look at
the water, "Are you taking me on a boat?"

"I am."
He replies, smirking at my stupid question.

We walk
into a wood pier to a huge yacht. I see the name Rikki A, in black
writing on the side of the boat. "Who's Rikki A?" I question
smiling, knowing I'm going to be entertained by the
story.

"She was
my Danish riding instructor when I was fourteen. She was the cause
of many wet dreams." He answers, truthfully. He sighs, "I miss her
terribly."

I laugh
as we step into the boat and are greeted by six crew members and
the captain. Ruxin introduces me and I shake their
hands.

"Have you
been on a boat before?" he asks.

It's my
turn to look at him like he's stupid. "I'm from Michigan, Ruxin.
We're practically born with a boating license.  Although, the
boats I've been on are more along the lines of pontoon and speed
boats, not multi million dollar yachts." I tease.

"Imagine,
all this could be yours." He replies. His eyes sparking with humor,
yet I hear his serious undertone.

"Smooth,
Ruxin." I state, rolling my eyes. "Keep your boat. I have more to
lose in this relationship anyway."

"Oh,
really?"

"Yep."

"I don't
think you're right about that." He states, amused.

"That's
what you get for thinking, again." I scold pointing my finger at
him. "Not everything has to have piece tag on it. The things I'd
give you are priceless."

He's
about to reply, but the boat moves forward. I walk to the railing
and look out at the dark water. It's a beautiful day, sunny and
warm with just the right about of wind. I feel his arms on both
sides of me and I lean back resting my head on his chest. I want to
tell him I'm falling for him, but my mouth won't do it. My heart
rate quickens just thinking about it. I wonder how he would react
if he knew? Would he say it back?

The run
in with Sammy still has me scared. He has to tell me first. If I
say it to him, it will make it real. It will make it impossible to
ever leave him. Well not impossible, but what do I do if he takes
my heart and doesn't give me his in return? I try to move on and
eventually find someone else like Xavier said. Even thinking about
life with out Ruxin is painful. Do I really want to get into a
relationship with someone who's been emotionally closed off for so
long? Falling in love with him was the easy, getting him to fall in
love with me will be a lot harder.

"Would
you like wine or champagne?" A voice says behind us.

"Champagne, please." Ruxin replies, without turning. "What
did you mean earlier, when you said you'd give me things that are
priceless?"

"Well, if
I married you." I say, emphasizing the word 'if'. "I'd give you
plenty of table sex." I joke.

"I'm not
joking, Eva."

"I can
tell you just called me Eva. That's never a good thing." I sigh and
turn to look at him. "I'd give you my heart, kids, a family, things
like that are priceless." I reply, straightening his
tie.

He starts
to lean down to kiss me when a throat is cleared. "Your campaign,
sir."

Ruxin
turns and takes both glasses, he hands one to me and clinks his
glass with mine. "To priceless things." He says, huskily. "I intend
to get all of them."

I raise
my eyebrow and take a sip, the bubbly dry taste hitting my suddenly
parched throat. "You have your work cut out for you Mr.
Novak."

"I can be
very persuasive."

"You mean
possessive." I correct.

"Both."
He chuckles. "You're mine, Eva."

I glare.
" Maybe I should get that tattooed on my ass instead of, 'No time
like the present.'"

"No need.
I already know that you're mine." He replies, smugly.

"Mr.
Novak, I believe I'm going to have to take you down a peg our two."
I threaten.

"Looking
forward to it, Angel."

"Sir,
dinner is ready." I turn to one of the crew members standing by the
door way.

"Thank
God! I'm actually starving." I say, gratefully. Ruxin takes my hand
and we walk inside to a long wood dining table. The windows on both
sides of the boat let's the sun and view in. I smell something
delicious. Stiring down I toss my purse under my chair. A plate of
sea bass with a red salsa, mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus is
placed in front of each of us. I don't wait, I dig in savoring the
taste. "This is so good."

"I have a
great crew." Ruxin agrees, after sampling his own. After a couple
minutes of silence Ruxin asks, "What are your plans for
tomorrow?"

I shrug.
"Well, I'll have to get a new swim suit." I reply, with fake
enthusiasm.

"Yes, you
do and it will be a one piece or I'll burn that one
too."

"It will
be a two piece, minus the ass showing part." I counter
argue.

He looks
at me almost studiously. "Okay, a conservative two
piece."

I look at
him stunned. "You're not going to fight me on this?"

"Nope,
but-"

"Of
course there's a but." I grumble.

"I'm
picking it out for you." I nod, I figured it was that. My phone
starts to blast, "I like big butts and I cannot lie..."

"Xavier!"
I laugh and pick up my purse from below the seat. I open my it
still listening to the song and answer it, "You changed my ring
tone!"

"I most
certainly did not! I only changed the setting for when I called. I
was raised right, T.H." He huffs.

I scoff,
"Okay, what do you want?"

"Now,
that is a question with many possible answers." I can almost hear
his eyebrow wiggle.

"I'm
eating, Xavier. Don't make me sick."

"Don't
eat too much you have a nickname to live up to." He reminds me.
"But on the topic of nicknames I did the honors of picking out my
own."

I
chuckle. "I can only imagine what you can up with."

"Watch
your tone T.H." He warns. "You may now call me T.H.W." He says
proudly.

"Okay, so
tiny hiney... wanker?" I guess.

He
laughs. "No."

"Wimp?
Walker? Winner? ...Weeny?" I ask, running out of
guesses.

"Watcher." He replies, chuckling.

"You're
disgusting. I'm not calling you that. I should get to pick anyway."
I tell him as I start to eat again.

"Eva."
Ruxin interrupts, irritated. Oops.

"I have
to go I'm eating and I'm being rude." 'Sorry' I mouth to Ruxin. Who
still doesn't look happy.

"Don't
worry it's only, Ruxin. So, what are you wearing?" He questions,
jokingly.

"Bye,
Xavier."

"Don't
you dare hang up without calling me T.H.W. or I'll call back a
million times." Be threatens, laughing.

I shake
my head deciding to give in. "Goodbye, T.H.W." I mutter,
reluctantly.

"Goodbye,
T.H." He sings hanging up.

I put my
phone back in my purse. "I really am sorry
I just wanted to yell at him for that ring tone." I
explain.

"I
noticed you didn't change it."

"It's
only set for his phone number. I guess he wants to remind me he
didn't like my tiny hiney."

"He was
looking at your ass?" He asks, his eyes hard but still managing to
look calm.

"More
like making fun of it." I answer. "Please don't make anything out
of this." I plead.

He stands
up losing his clam and cool exterior, that didn't take long.
"You're not seeing him again!" He shouts pointing his finger at my
purse.

"I can be
friends with whoever I want!" I yell back.

"Eva, I'm
serious!"

"So am I!
I'm not someone that cheats on her boyfriend. What the hell are you
worried about? Me leaving? If that's what you're worried about you
shouldn't be acting like this! This makes me want to leave." I
point out.

"Don't
threaten me."

"It's not
a threat, Ruxin." I shake my head.

"You
don't see my concern when you're getting this close to another
man?"

"I expect
you to trust me like I've said before."

"He wants
you! How can't you see that!"

"I don't
care what he wants! He hasn't tried anything with me, until he does
I would like to keep him as a friend!"

"He's
still thinking about you, still wants you and I won't have you
around him." He states with so much finality it makes me
laugh.

Forget
it, I'll say it first. "Ruxin-"

"Unless
you are agreeing with me, I don't want to hear it!" He
bellows.

"I love
you! You stupid idiot! There are you happy! I'm in love with you, I
want only you! I only think about you!" I yell back picking up my
plate of food and throwing it him. Not caring if it hit him or not
I storm out of the room. Arrogant, possessive asshole. I walk back
to the railing and take a deep breath, trying to calm myself down.
I grip my shaking hands together and look out at the
water.

"Angel."
I hear from behind me.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ruxin
Novak

She just
threw a plate at me!  Was I being that big of a dick? No, I
wasn't. Okay, maybe I should have explained myself a little better.
It's obvious she doesn't make friends fast and I might be jealous
of the time they're spending together. I brush off the front of my
jacket letting the food fall onto the table. She loves me, I smile.
At least I know she'll choose me, I just have to be
firm.

Walking
over the food on the floor I slide the door open going out onto the
deck. I see her looking at the water, she doesn't turn to me.
"Angel." I say and still she doesn't look at me. I know she's mad
at me. I'm not sorry about what I said, I don't want her spending
time with him. I step closer.
