"Yeah, uh," her cheeks warmed with color. "I
figured, you were asleep so... And I wasn't sure you wanted me to
stay over..." her voice trailed off.

She gently pulled her arm from his grasp and
took a sharp inhale. She squared her shoulders as though bracing
herself, then looked him squarely in the eye. "I'm not exactly well
versed in one night stand etiquette. Assuming that's what that
was."

He paused as he looked in her eyes, studying
her expression. What he saw there surprised him. Or more
accurately, what he didn't see. There was no expectation, no
misplaced hope that he was going to tell her that it was in fact
the start to some new chapter in their relationship.

There wasn't the resentment he so often saw
when a woman realized that no matter how great the sex might have
been, it wasn't special enough for him to forsake all others and go
riding off into the sunset with her.

All he saw on Sadie's face was a wry smile
and a conspiratorial look in her eyes.

Still, his gut told him that despite her
protests that she wasn't looking for a commitment, Sadie didn't
feel as casual about this as she was letting on. The fact that
she'd avoided him all morning was a tell.

And then there was that crush on him she'd
nursed back in high school, flashes of which he'd seen over the
past few weeks. Maybe he was giving himself too much credit,
putting too much weight on something she might have grown out
of.

It should have been enough to give him pause.
It should have been enough to remind him that if he had an ounce of
decency he'd tell her yes. That last night was fun but that was
that. It would be better in the long run to nip this in the bud. If
they continued, it would only make it harder for her when it came
time for him to leave.

He should let it go now, suffer through the
awkwardness that would no doubt linger between them, take the hit
to their friendship in order to keep her from getting more
hurt.

But then he looked at her full, pink mouth,
smiling that smile. Thought about how good it felt and tasted under
his. Thought about how good her silky, naked skin had felt sliding
against his.

Thought about how he could spend every night
for the next two weeks indulging in all of it.

And admitted to himself he was way too
goddamn selfish to stop at only one night.

He stepped closer, close enough that he could
see her delicate nostrils flare, feel her breasts brush against his
chest at her sharp intake of breath.

He reached down and took her hand, entwining
his fingers with hers. "Thing is, a one night stand implies it only
happens one time."

He stepped even closer, slid his other hand
around her hip to pull her against him so she could feel the full
effect the memories of last night had on him. "I don't know about
you," he whispered, bending his head so his lips nearly brushed
hers, "but as far as I'm concerned one night wasn't nearly
enough."

He pressed his mouth to hers, groaning when
her lips eagerly parted for the slide of his tongue. At the first
taste he was ready to push her up against a wall, tear off her
jeans and get himself so deep inside her he couldn't remember his
own name.

The soft whicker of a horse and the sound of
Pete's diesel dually was enough—barely—to remind him they were in
the barn where anyone could walk in at any time.

Not to mention he was covered in a day's
worth of sweat, dust, and hay seeds and probably smelled like the
inside of a gym locker.

Though Sadie didn't seem to mind, if the way
she was grinding her pelvis against the bulge in his pants and
sucking his tongue into her mouth was any indication.

He gave her one last long, lingering kiss
before he forced himself to lift his head. "What do you say,
Sadie?" he couldn't resist flicking her earlobe with his tongue.
"What do you say we have a little fun?"

"Have you managed to straighten everything
out with the banks yet?"

Sadie forced herself to focus on her father's
question booming from the head of the table, nearly impossible with
Dylan's hand resting high on her thigh underneath the table. "Uh,
not quite," she managed to get out. "Molly is still going over all
of the information I sent her. I'm going to meet with her later
this week."

"Well the sooner we get to the bottom of it
the better."

"I know something I'd like to get to the
bottom of," Dylan murmured so only she could hear, and slid his
hand until his fingers were skimming her inner thigh.

Sadie reached under the table and gave his
leg a pinch, hiding her smile behind a sip of water.

She nearly erupted into a coughing fit when
he retaliated by capturing her hand and pressing her palm to the
heated bulge between his own legs.

Snatching her hand away, she shot him a
warning look. The look he gave her in return was so hot and full of
promise she was surprised she didn't burst into flames right there
at the mahogany dining table.

Finally the seemingly interminable meal
ended. Dylan said his good byes and slipped out. Sadie followed her
usual routine of heading to the office for a bit to check emails
before heading over to his cabin.

Tonight though, the letters on the screen
swam in front of her, blurred by the searing images running through
her brain. Of all the things they'd done to each other last
night.

Of all the things they were going to do.

What do you say we have a little fun?

Even as the memory of his whispered
proposition sent a hot shiver coursing through her, she couldn't
deny the smallest tinge of apprehension.

She was smart, she knew exactly what Dylan
was proposing. He was clear about his expectations. A good time,
good sex, no strings attached, no looking back when it came time
for him to leave.

So what if the stupid sixteen-year-old still
lurking inside her was making noise about wishing it could be
more?

But Dylan wasn't offering more and she didn't
kid herself that amazing sex could convince him otherwise. So she
had to settle for lots of sex with no commitment and no discussion
about where things were going.

Nothing Sadie had ever had any experience
with. Not because she thought it was wrong, but she'd never thought
it was the right choice for her.

But no time like the present to give it a
try, she thought as she abandoned her desk and headed out the front
door.

Because the only alternative was to say no.
Like many women before her, she acknowledged ruefully, she was
incapable of saying no to Dylan Decker. Especially now that she
knew first hand how deserving he was of his reputation.

She stepped onto his porch, heart in her
throat as she raised her hand to knock. But before she could make
contact the door swung open to reveal Dylan.

Her nervousness ebbed at the sight of his
knowing grin as he stepped aside to usher her inside. She walked
past him into the sitting room, and felt a twinge of disappointment
when she saw an array of dinner ingredients set out on the kitchen
counter.

He'd seemed so interested earlier, and now he
was apparently planning to cook a meal first.

Big, strong hands gripped her hips from
behind, pulling her to him. He buried his mouth against her neck
with a growl that rumbled all the way down to her core. "You look
like you're ready to cook," she said, trying to catch her
breath.

"Later," he said, reaching up with one hand
to push her hair to the side. His mouth closed over a spot on her
neck she'd never imagined could have so many nerve endings.

"It's okay if you want to eat first. You were
working all day, mowing the hay."

"And now I'm ready to plow your field," he
said with an exaggeratedly lecherous laugh as he rubbed himself
against the curve of her butt.

She gave a surprised shout of laughter and
gave his arm a smack. "Gross!"

He gave a husky laugh and turned her in his
arms. His eyes crinkled in a way that made her toes curl in her
shoes, and behind the playfulness, his eyes glittered with a need
that made her own body pulse in response.

"Dinner can wait," he said huskily. "I
can't." He took her mouth then, hot, hungry kisses, releasing her
long enough only to pull her shirt, then his, over their heads.

It was a scramble of fumbling hands as they
both worked to get her out of her jeans. She felt a tug on her bra
as she unbuttoned his jeans, yanked down the zipper and shoved them
down below his hips.

Then he was spilling into her hands, every
hot, thick inch of him. Her fingers instinctively wrapped around
the base, the throbbing between her legs intensifying at the way
his muscles jumped as he moaned against her mouth.

She stroked him up, down, over and over,
intoxicated by feel of him, all hot, silky skin over granite. All
for her.

She opened her eyes, saw how his own gaze was
locked on her slender fingers wrapped so firmly around his
cock.

The sight was so erotic it made her clench
her thighs against the heat and wetness pooling there. A bead of
moisture formed on the thick head, and she used her thumb to spread
it around. He moaned and arched and shifted his big feet.

She bent her head, pressed light butterfly
kisses along the hair-roughened skin of his chest. He smelled
delicious, the soap from his shower mingling with the warm musk
that was uniquely his.

He groaned as she slid lower, tracing the
ridges of his abs with her lips and tongue. His breath caught in
his chest as she continued south, her mouth open and wet against
the tight expanse of skin between his navel and the dark patch of
hair at the base of his sex.

He whispered her name and slid his fingers
against her scalp as she brushed her cheek along the length of his
cock.

Then every muscle went granite hard as she
pressed a kiss to the thick head. Her tongue stole out to swirl
around the tip and he groaned like he was dying. The sound sent an
answering jolt between her thighs. She parted her lips, sucking him
deep into her mouth.

Dylan could live to be a hundred and he'd
never see anything sexier than the sight of Sadie's gorgeous mouth
sliding down the length of his cock. His eyes squeezed shut as he
struggled for self control, but that only made the feel of her hot,
wet mouth, sucking, licking,
savoring
him all the more
intense.

Christ, he should stop her. This should be
about her, him lavishing every inch of her body with attention
until she could barely stand it any more. Even though he'd managed
to pull it out of a nose dive last night, he still had a lot of
making up to do.

But his body wasn't getting the memo, unable
to resist the mindblowing feeling of her mouth and hands on him.
The muffled little sighs and moans she made in her throat, as
though she was getting off on this almost as much as he was.

He could feel his orgasm looming, his cock
swelling inside her mouth as his balls drew up high and tight
against his body.

Sensing it, Sadie sucked harder, her fist
pumping faster, as she drew him ever closer to the edge.

"Sadie," her name sounded like it was being
ripped from his chest. His fingers tightened in her hair as he
resisted the urge to shove himself deeper down her throat. Familiar
tension built in his thighs, at the base of his spine. "I'm going
to—"

The tension burst and a million sparks
exploded in his brain as his body shuddered and pulsed with
release.

He drew her up with shaking hands as he
struggled to regain his breath. He pulled her close, luxuriating in
the sensation of her smooth, silky skin against his, the soft
weight of her tits nestled against his chest.

His cock, which should have been down for the
count, surged against the smooth skin of her stomach.

At her little gasp, he whispered, "Up until
last night, it was kind of a long time for me too." At least, he
told himself that was why as he scooped her up into his arms and
carried her back to the bedroom.

Forget the fact that when he'd been deployed
he'd gone through longer dry spells than this last one and he'd
never been rock hard and ready to go almost immediately after.
Christ, he hadn't felt like this since he was a teenager, suffering
from testosterone poisoning, walking around with a near constant
hard on that he'd willingly stick anywhere that would welcome
it.

This was different, he acknowledged with a
slight sinking sensation as he followed Sadie down on the bed. Deep
inside, no matter how bad he wanted to deny it, he knew that his
body's reaction had less to do with mere horniness and more to do
with Sadie herself.

The way her soft mouth opened eagerly under
his, sucking his tongue inside so he could taste himself and her
all at once. The way her long, sleek legs twined around his, the
way her hands trembled as they slid up and down his back and sides,
like she couldn't get enough of the feel of him.

Like he couldn't get enough of her. He traced
his tongue down the column of her neck, down to capture a hard
nipple in his mouth. One hand slid down to cup her between her
legs, and his cock surged to full hardness at the feel of how wet,
how hot she was. "Did it turn you on to suck my cock?" he whispered
as he slid a finger deep inside, groaning at the way the muscles
clamped down so firmly around him.

"Yes," she gasped, moaned.

His eyes locked on her face, unable to look
away from the sight of her pleasure. Her eyes were closed,
eyelashes casting dark shadows on her perfectly sculpted
cheekbones. Her plump lips were parted, her breath coming in harsh
gasps as she lost herself in his touch.

He'd never felt quite like this before,
battling simultaneous urges to sink deep inside her, fuck her hard
and fast, even as he wanted to linger over every soft, sweet inch
of her. Spend hours finding every secret place that made her run
hot and wet for him.
