-Falling
for the Billionaire-

#3

FAREWELL
TO LUST

by

Karolyn James

In
the final part of the Falling for the Billionaire trilogy, dear Becky is
questioning the lifestyle she has been getting used to.  She knew getting in
bed with sexy CEO, Mr. Bradley, meant playing by his rules, but now he has
crossed the line.

She
is determined to convince herself that she can go back to her normal life and
forget about the billionaire, but that proves impossible when he is waiting for
her.

When
under his command, only Mr. Bradley can say when it is over, and she has the
choice-
him or ‘freedom’...

I
t’s
her third day of work; the third day she’s seen him walking the halls.  There’s
always a small crowd behind, people vying for their chance to speak to him,
hoping he speaks back.  Rarely he does.  Mostly he nods and commands in
silence, making him that much sexier.

Yesterday, he walked by her desk
and she closed her eyes, inhaling him.

A coworker caught her and she
expected ridicule but only received an eyewink.

It wasn’t the first time a woman
has inhaled his scent, memorizing it, and used it later in the evening for
their own personal pleasure.

She doesn’t want to touch
herself thinking of him.

She wants him to touch her.

Yes.

That’s what she wants.

It’s her third day of work;
what’s the worst that could happen?

He comes from the elevator and
today he’s alone.  His eyes look different.  He’s ravishing, gorgeous, with
enough features to keep her fantasizing for hours.  As he walks from the
elevator, the office starts to clear out.  One by one, people stand and leave.
They don’t even bother taking their belongings, leaving purses and jackets.

For a second, she cares, knowing
that they’re going to freeze outside… the weatherman said a strong cold front
moved in overnight and there was a chance of snow all day.

Welcome to November!

The people are gone.

It’s just her.

And him.

Halfway to her, he slips his
jacket off, letting it fall to the floor.

She feels she should do
something too so she kicks her heels off.  They scatter, looking defeated lying
on their sides.

Next he pulls his tie.  The knot
lets go and that too is on the floor.

She unbuttons her shirt, three
buttons down, enough to show skin and the top of her bra.

He’s following her lead now,
unbuttoning his shirt.

She catches glimpses of his
chiseled muscles as he walks.

There’s not enough time to get
naked before he’s there, right there with her.

She’s out of breath, and time.

Time?

“I’m sorry,” he whispers as his
hands embrace her body.

He’s holding her, his lips
moving down towards hers.

“So sorry,” he adds a moment
before their lips touch.

When they kiss, everything turns
passionate… from her tender nipples to his hardness…

She moans…

And wakes up.

blinked a few times and found her hands full of bed sheets.  She had twisted
and pulled them so much, the sheet had come off the mattress.  As she tried to
roll to her right, she felt a wild sensation run through her body.  She had
fallen asleep topless and her nipples were so sensitive and erect that just by
rubbing on the bed sheet, it gave her pleasure and turned her on.

Another dream.

Another damn dream.

Of him.

Him.

Bradley.

Sexy Bradley.

It had been barely twelve hours
since their last encounter at the Halloween party, where Becky stormed out of the
hotel room, the party, and Bradley’s life.

Or so she thought.

Four times that night she had the
same dream.

A dream of working at HB-Ley, the
way her life should have been right now.  But the dream always took a sexual
turn.  It always happened the same – Bradley coming from the elevator and
stripping himself.  Only once did he actually become naked and only once, in a
different dream, did he penetrate her.

The dreams were a tease.

A reminder her memory concocted to
show her what she had walked out on.

Not that it mattered now.

Bradley had his deal with Carlello
and even if she wasn’t there for the final contract signing on the deal,
Bradley could make up a story of how Becky left him.  Left him heartbroken.
All because Bradley wanted to trick Carlello into believing that he was a
settled man.  A man who didn’t need to run rampant with women or money, even
though it was the money and power that fueled Bradley.

Becky hated him.

Becky loved him.

She closed her eyes, wishing it all
away.

She wished she were back in Cancun, with all her friends, celebrating their unknown future.  A future that looked so
bright and easy.  A future that looked laid with a path that nobody could
touch.

But somebody did.

A sexy billionaire named Bradley.

“Fuck,” Becky whispered.

Her heart stumbled in her chest,
unsure of what to feel.

She wanted it to be either weeks in
the past or weeks in the future.  Certainly not the next day.  She had never
been in this position and had no idea what to do.  Calling Bradley didn’t seem
possible, let alone the fact that Becky had never called Bradley and quite
honestly, had no idea how to get in contact with him.

Becky sat up in bed, letting the
sheet fall, exposing her breasts. She looked down at herself and sighed.

She closed her eyes, begging for
time to go back.

Please, go back.

Time didn’t go back.

It couldn’t.

Not even all the money in the world
could make time go back.  The power Bradley had over Becky couldn’t be stopped,
not now, not ever.

Becky’s heart raced thinking about
him.  She wanted him.  She desired him.  She lust for him.

She needed him.

Being his fake fiancée, fake wife,
being his part of a puzzle, a transaction, whatever he wanted, she had to be.
Without the idea of seeing Bradley, touching him, it left her empty.  It left
her feeling dead, like her best days had come and gone.

Plus, she could get used to it
all.  Get used to his persona and how he acted.  Her real reason for getting so
mad last night was because she had no idea why she had been brought to that
party.  And then hearing Bradley speak to her, whisper in her ear, touch her
hand, and then the fantasy of being his fiancée… it was all so much to absorb
at once.

That’s all it was.

If she knew ahead of time of his
plan, every detail, she could have gone with it, without the hurt.

Becky let her breasts go and
touched her face.  From her open mouth to the small tears in the corners of her
eyes.  Her fingers wiped the tears and she scrambled from her bed.  When she
caught sight of the black dress on the floor, she moaned, wanting Bradley to be
there with her.

There was only one thing to do.

Becky needed to find Bradley.
She’d start over, right at the beginning of it all.  She’d show up for work, to
the elevators of HB-Ley, and let fate take all control.

A
fter
a long shower, Becky wanted to feel different.

She didn’t.

Every few seconds she caught
herself looking to her door, knowing she needed to leave, and soon.  She didn’t
know why, but she just felt it.  Wandering around her apartment got her
nowhere.  Battling the questions in her mind only made things worse.  One
second she had all the right answers and the next second she thought of all the
wrong answers.

Finally, it hit her that maybe her
actions caused something horrible to happen.

What if the deal with Carlello fell
through?

Bradley needed Becky to be his
pretend whatever to make the deal happen.  And if she wasn’t there at the end
of the night… and if Carlello didn’t buy into whatever excuse Bradley threw at
him…

It could be really horrible.

Not that the money mattered because
Bradley was a billionaire with or without Carlello.  But it was the idea of
what Bradley demanded of his life, which was growth and constant success.

Becky ran out of excuses and
reasons, storming to her door.  She wasn’t necessarily dressed for a day of
work, wearing a pair of jeans and a black sweater, but she didn’t care.  This
was about her and Bradley.  With a little help of fate, things would happen as
needed.

Becky didn’t even look back to her
door, her eyes were focused forward.  Not behind.  She didn’t want to think
about the past, only the future.

And Bradley.

She passed through the main door of
her building, turning her head slightly left, hoping to see the car Bradley had
purchased for her.  Inside, a little bit of herself was greedy, hoping that if
things with Bradley were done she could still keep the car.

Becky didn’t get a chance to see
the car though because something else was there, right outside her apartment
building.

It was like a terrible case of déjà
vu as she stared forward at the black limo idling.  This time, the door didn’t
open and Bradley wasn’t inside.  Instead, the driver rushed from the limo and
around, opening the door for Becky.

“Please, come,” the driver said,
“Mr. Bradley has a very important meeting with you.  Right away.”

Meeting.

Dealing with the sexy billionaire
meant dealing with words that could mean so much.  She could either meet with
Bradley and achieve a state of pleasure that made her body feel wild and free
or she could meet with Bradley and talk about the next business deal.

Either way, Becky had to follow her
heart this time and trust herself.

She walked to the limo.

hen
the driver said the word
meeting
, Becky knew she’d be going back to the
office.  She also knew that if Bradley was expecting her, she wouldn’t have to rely
on fate so much.  As a younger woman she had always dreamed of meeting the
right man, or the one even, in a simple, fate filled romantic way.  Bumping
into him in a crowd.  Having a bad day, dropping all her papers, and he retrieves
them with a big smile.  Something casual, something sexy.

This… being ushered around the back
of limo, being kept under Bradley’s control – even when he wasn’t there – this
wasn’t part of it.  But yet it was something Becky needed in her life.  The mundane
struggle day to day, job after job, and in college, class after class, all just
seemed too much.  The strange part about Bradley was that as commanding as he
was and as much of a hold he had on Becky, she never felt so free in her life.

She felt free to care, to love, to
worry, and most of all, she felt sexually free.
