A lot has happened in the last six months.

Some of the Things that Have Happened in the Last Six Months

By Mags Marclay

1). Blake stayed in L.A. and is finally in a kick-ass band that's getting a loyal following.

2). Coco and Blake have worked things out and are back on track (thanks to counseling). They are once again my married-couple role models!

3). Clyde and I are amazing. It's just so easy and right. Sure, it's still the honeymoon phase, but he
communicates
, which then makes me do so more, too. So even once we get to the eventual point of arguing or fighting, like any couple inevitably does, it feels like we'll work through it, awesome-style.

4). I got the key tattoo for reals to go with Clyde's lock. It's totally predictable, but I figured getting it done would help Mr. Tattwosome pay for some much needed dental work!

5). Shari and I are now actually friends. She's still single, but she just landed a major role in a new slasher film. Can't wait to see how she's killed in that one!

6). And most importantly…

(Drumroll and dim the lights, please.) This is so important that I'm taking it off my list and giving it solo billing. This whole crazy hunt didn't just lead me to Clyde. I know it sounds so cheesy, but it led me to
me
. To
MY ART
. My creativity. My expression. AND I'm finally willing to put it out there in the world. And in a big way—I'm shouting it out, peoples!

(Uh, no, Officer, I am not the one spray-painting these all over town. I wouldn't do that, it's illegal!)

You can see more at the fancy website Coop built for me:

Wait, there are more THINGS THAT HAVE HAPPENED IN THE LAST SIX MONTHS:

7). Guess who was the best woman at Liza and Kelly's wedding?

8). And guess whose website is a big, phat success? (I guess a lot of people Fck Up!)

9). Thanks to Grandma Dotty's testimony, all the charges were dropped, and Cooper's a free boy. Grandma Dotty is still the hit of the senior citizen complex with her special brownie recipe!

10). Cooper and Dad started really connecting! The baby's due in three months and Cooper's ready to step up. And Narcie is actually kind of excited. (Thank the Lord the Newman Curse has been broken, and Mom can't be passin' down that bullshit anymore!)

9). And speaking of babies, last but not least… ready for some of the best news evah?!?!?!

WE'RE EXPECTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know it was fast and all, but when something's meant to be, it's meant to be.

Wanna see a pic? I want to be a little discreet and not just lay it all out right here since it involves some frontal nudity.

If you'd like to celebrate with us, you can do one of two things:

  1. Spay or neuter your dog (obviously Clyde had heard of Bob Barker, but he never considered that Bob's mission might apply to Lilabelle and her soon-to-arrive pups!!).
  2. Make a donation to the pet rescue org of your choice—you can find a list of many cool places at
    www.IHeartBobBarker.com/resources-links
    .
Epilogue

I was just telling Clyde about how during my senior year in high school, I was suicidal. So down, so dark, I couldn't shake a deep depression. And then one day I happened to see a book about someone's life working on a ferryboat. And I thought—that's so out there. And there are so many random things that are so completely unlike anything my life would ever be. How could I give up living when there were so many options? I could leave my life as I knew it, and just do something totally different… like go work on a ferryboat.

If we're ever feeling hopeless and stuck, we can choose something else. There are endless possibilities and infinite opportunities. Like my dad said, “There's always going to be both—magic and disaster—and we get to decide which to put our focus on.” So from here on in, I know where I'm going to focus. If I learned anything from this crazy treasure hunt, it's that magic and inspiration are everywhere, even in crap, if you just keep your eyes open.
