“You’re so beautiful,” she says and licks between them. “I could stare at you all day.”

“I want to see you. Take off this blindfold,” I demand.

“Not yet,” she replies against my skin and kisses my neck. “One more thing before I let you go.”

I feel her legs on either side of me, and from what I can feel I know she’s naked. I pull against the ropes, desperate to touch her. I can’t get free from the binds, and I know she hasn’t used the cat’s paw this time because I’m not loosening the knot at all. Her lips brush against mine, and I can taste myself on her mouth.

Joss lies between my legs, and her hot center presses against me as her tits squash against mine. She glides easily against me; our skin wet from perspiration. Her pelvis grinds against me, and I want nothing more than to grip her tight and hold her to me while she works her clit over mine.

“Bunny,” she squeaks, her voice tight and her breaths coming faster and faster as her lips brush mine before she whispers my name. “Jaime.”

Joss claims my mouth and grinds her hips harder and faster, her tongue licking inside and her folds sliding over mine.

The blindfold is torn from my face, and I look up into Joss’ blue eyes when she presses her palm against my cheek.

She reaches above my head and pulls against the rope tied through the metal loop and my arms become free. I hold Joss to me, my hands roaming over her flesh, one finding her breast and massaging her. I roll her hard nipple between my finger and thumb and run my other hand through her long hair, pulling it back away from her perfect face.

We breathe each other’s air, the tsunami building higher and higher inside of me until neither of us can hold on any longer. I crush my mouth to hers as I come hard, and her lips tighten when she joins me, both falling over the edge.

My body turns to jelly and my limbs collapse to the bed, thoroughly satisfied, and in no state to stand up for a while. Joss is lying next to me, her hand on my chest as though feeling my heartbeat.

I turn my head. “I thought you were shy,” I say and laugh when she snorts.

“Not at all,” she replies and runs her nose against my cheek and lightly kisses it. “I just don’t think my personal life is anybody’s business.”

I think back to all the things I’ve done over the years and the things I’ve shared, and I realize that no matter what people thought they knew about me, they didn’t know a damn thing. But, what I have with Joss isn’t something I would share without a single thought. She means more to me than a casual fuck and go. Sadie’s words flash in my mind, and what I was so blind to, I now know to be true.

I turn on my side to face Joss. “Will you come home with me tonight?”

“I’d love to.” Her face lights up with a sweet smile, then drops just as fast. “But what about Sadie…the others?”

“You don’t need to worry about that.”

As we dress, I tell Joss about telling Sadie, and then what happened with my parents. Her face twists with more fury than I have ever seen from her, and it melts my heart that she wants to ‘avenge’ me. Instead of letting her loose, I wrap my arms around her and tell her that it doesn’t matter what they think and that I’m done trying to be somebody I’m not just to please them. We grab our things and change into our street clothes before leaving the club.

“All that matters is that I can be the me I was supposed to be, Joss,” I say as we’re walking to the main curb to my car. “And I don’t give a fuck what anybody thinks.”

She gives my hand a squeeze before we get into the car and make the short journey home.

I wake up curled around a warm body, my hand cupping soft flesh and a long leg hooking back around mine. I press my face into the dark hair and breath in.

“Good morning,” she says and turns in my arms.

“Good morning,” I reply and take her offered mouth. “Did you sleep well?” I know I did. I haven’t slept so soundly…ever.

“I did.” Joss snuggles closer and drapes her arm over me and begins to stroke my back. “Better than I have in a long time.”

“Stay here,” I say and wriggle free, but not before taking one last squeeze of her ass, making her giggle. “I’ll get us breakfast.”

I throw on my shorts and tank top and begin walking to the door.

“I’ll help,” Joss says with a grin, and I can’t help but stare as she rises naked from my bed. “If you stare like that, I’ll have to restrain you,” she winks.

A pang hits me down south. “Promises, promises,” I reply and wink before opening my door.

I walk into the living room, and I’m greeted with Sadie rushing towards me with worried eyes. “Jaime, I’m so glad you’re home. When did you get back?” she asks while hugging me.

I pull back out of her vice grip. “Last night.”

Her jaw drops. “Why didn’t you call me? I would’ve come right back!” Her eyes dart to something over my shoulder. “Hi, Joss.” Her eyebrows pinch, and she turns back to me.

“Hi,” she replies quietly, back to the shy girl I know.

“Um… I was about to make breakfast. Want some?”

I don’t know what else to say to her, and I cringe to myself as I walk towards the kitchen. I open the fridge and take out some eggs and milk. I step back, and a pair of arms wrap around my waist from behind.

“I think Sadie is suspicious,” Joss says into my ear. “Well, it’s hard not to be considering I walked out of your bedroom.”

I turn to face her, and she keeps me in her embrace. “She doesn’t have to know if you don’t want her to,” I say. “It’s your decision to come out, and if you’re not comfortable, then I won’t say anything.”

Joss doesn’t reply, but as she looks into my eyes I can see how she feels about me and my heart begins to race. She quickly pulls away when Sadie walks into the kitchen.

“Are you making breakfast? I’m starving,” she says and takes a seat at the table. She stares, her eyes moving between us, and I know she saw something when she walked in.

I begin to turn away, glancing at Joss as I do, but she reaches out and stops me. I search her expression, wondering what she’s thinking, but all I feel is my own uncertainty at what she’s going to do. I hold my breath when she leans forward and presses her lips against mine. I close my eyes and try not to forget about the things in my hands—or our audience—but it’s hard not to when I feel her tongue run along my lower lip.

“I like pancakes,” she breathes when she releases me.

“I’ll make pancakes.” My knees are trembling from her sudden exposure, but my heart swells knowing she did it for me.

“No, I’ll make pancakes,” Sadie says and gets up out of her seat. “Joss, your girlfriend isn’t the greatest cook, so for safety’s sake, let me do it.” She takes the ingredients out of my hands and ushers us to the table and winks at me.

We sit, and Joss takes my hands when she turns her body to face me. “Jaime, you could be the worst cook in the world, but I’d still love you.”

The room is deathly silent, and the only thing I can hear is my own heart beating like a runaway freight train. Joss’ eyes fill will tears when I don’t answer her, and out of the corner of my eye, I see Sadie turning her back to us.

“Joss, I—”

“You don’t have to say anything,” she whispers. “After everything you’ve been through, I shouldn’t be so selfish to think you would feel that way about me.”

I grip her chin and gently pull so she has no choice but to look at me. “You didn’t let me finish.” She opens her mouth, but I press my finger to her lips. “I denied who I was, and how I felt for a long time, Joss, but deep down I think I’ve always known how I feel about you.” A single tear escapes and rolls down her face and the wetness mirrors on my own. “Joss, I love you too, and you better get used to it, because I’m here—with you— for good.”

Our arms tangle around each other, and I hold my girl close to me, the one that showed me who I am, the one I love, and the one I’ll never let go.

The smoke alarm pierces the air and smoke billows up from the stove. “Shit, sorry!” Sadie yells as she frantically fans the fumes out of the window. “I burnt breakfast.”

When I finish laughing, I turn to Joss. “Shall we go out?”

“Yes. The coffee shop makes great pancakes.”

The three of us head out of the door, and Joss takes my hand. I proudly walk down the street with my girl and best friend, and for the first time in my life, I’m proud of who I am.
