“Ok.” She smiled timidly, “I would like that very much.”

“Good.” He pulled back, took her hand again and their walk continued. David stepped a little closer to her. “You were right.”

“About what?”

“There was a girl. But the thing is: she didn’t hurt me; I hurt her.”

Jenna was stunned. “I don’t believe it. You are the gentlest soul I have ever met. You would never hurt anyone, especially a woman.” She wouldn’t have liked any woman he might have been with in the past, but David was Jenna’s angel, and any woman who would make him unsure of himself, she hated.

“It’s true. She was the only woman I dated after college. My parents were really strict, especially my dad. He always told me that I was too big and didn’t know my own strength. He said I had no business messing around with women, that the closer I got to someone, the more I would hurt them.”

Jenna frowned. How awful to say something like that to your son. “No, that’s not true at all.”

“No, listen. As it turned out, he was right. When this girl and I got close,” David hesitated, trying to say what he needed to say without being explicit. “I did what I thought I was supposed to do. She screamed at me. She called me a freak and a pervert and she ran out. I’ve never gotten farther than a ‘hello’ with a girl since.”

The suffering in his voice tore at her heart. “What did you think you were supposed to do?”

“I don’t know.” He stopped walking and shoved his hand through his hair. “I was just . . . me. I tried to be intimate with her but she hated it. I don’t know what I did wrong; I just know it was wrong. It’s better if I don’t put myself in a position like that again.” David’s tone grew more somber the more the conversation progressed.

Jenna placed her hand on David’s arm, rubbing his warm skin through the material. “It had to have been her, David. You didn’t hit her or anything, right?”

He shook his head. “Of course not, I never doubted it.” Moving her hand up to his face, she cupped his cheek. “She just couldn’t handle you. You were too much man for her.” As angry as she was with the other woman, she couldn’t stop thinking about how aggressive his love-making must be. A heat spread between her legs. She felt desperate to make love with David. “I have an idea. Come home with me and I’ll show you that you have nothing to worry about.” Her hand moved down his belly to his belt. Her thumb hooked onto his buckle.

David locked eyes with her and bit his lip. His body burst into flame. He had never wanted a woman so much. His cock burned with desire so badly that his stomach turned upside down. “You are the sexiest woman I have ever met, but I can’t. I’ll hurt you.”

“No you won’t, Wonder Boy.” She stood in front of him and ran her hand down his pants, along the smooth, hard abs until her fingers found his manhood. She wrapped it in her palm and squeezed. His hands flew to her shoulders and held like stone. He took her by the back of her head and drew her as close to him as possible. Her lips just happened to be near his neck. She began to kiss him, licking and scraping her teeth over his flesh. His skin, firm and lightly dewed with sweat, tasted sweet and salty.

“Oh god, Jenna. I want you.” He spoke with passion and pleading in his voice.

“I can tell.” She said happily, his cock growing long and hard in her hand.

David let a deep, sexy growl burn from within his chest and he pushed her against a tree. His hands molded her breasts and kneaded them, plucking at the nipples. He stopped, and looked around. Nobody was close. Good.

He grabbed her hand and they walked quickly down the trail, across a quaint bridge and down to a sitting area looking over the lake. They tied the dogs’ leashes to a bench and he sat down beneath the view. The sky above, then the skyline, then the forested hills and then the river, reflecting it all, sat in front of them, glistening like a cherished Christmas tree in a family home.

He pulled her into his lap. “I want your breasts in my mouth.”

She looked around and ensured nobody was watching. “Please.” Jenna was shaking with anticipation.

He unbuttoned her shirt with trembling fingers, parted the material and groaned. “I can’t wait to see you.” David kissed his way across every inch of smooth, scented skin he could see. Her small waist and flat stomach made her breasts look that much more voluptuous and delicious. “Oh lord. I need your tits.” He unclasped her bra and pulled it off of her, revealing the most perfect round breasts. Her nipples were big and hard, and the prettiest color of coral pink he could ever imagine. “You’re beautiful.”

His fingers touched the bottom of her breast and then bloomed apart, caressing every curve. His hand tightened around the firm globe and let it fill his palm. David put his lips to the bottom of her right breast and kissed lightly. Then he slid his lips around her tit, careful to never touch her nipple. He licked the sides and the top and even between her breasts, but never her nipple.

“David, please, put my nipple in your mouth.” She moaned for more.

“No. Not yet. I’m enjoying myself.” Hearing her kittenish mew, he gave in, allowing his tongue to encircle her nipple, getting it wet and hard without touching it. Afterward, he pulled his mouth away and blew on the swollen tip. His cold breath teased the dampness of her skin. Then he surrounded it with his mouth and breathed in. Hot air drug across her wet nipple.

“You’re killing me, David, please.” Jenna knew her voice sounded desperate. His pace quickened. David’s tongue shivered the dampness across her breast. Moving his hands down to her ass, he lifted her.  His lips worked hard, sucking and licking, taking his pleasure and giving her ecstasy. David lost himself in the moment. Jenna looked down and saw his eyes closed as his whole being was occupied in pursuit of her pleasure. It was almost too much for her to handle. “David, please, I want you so bad. I’m going to cum.”

David latched on to her, sucking her whole tit into his mouth. His lips massaged the skin of her breast while his tongue tickled the nipple. He began to hum. The vibrations shot through Jenna’s body. She pulled David’s hair and groaned.

“I’m cumming, David! Oh shit, I’m cumming!” Jenna’s body rocked in his lap. She vibrated in time with his humming. Colors popped across the canvas of her mind and then everything went white. She relaxed into his shoulders and he held her, looking out over Lake Travis.

“Thank you, Jenna,” he rocked her. “I loved that, it was amazing.”

“No, thank you, David.” She kissed his cheek. “It’s getting late. What time is it?”

David looked at his watch. “Son of a gun! We were supposed to have the dogs back forty minutes ago!” He kissed Jenna and they stood. Jenna dressed, they took the puppies and left.

After apologizing to Suzy and getting the dogs back to their cages, the couple settled into the truck and laughed.

“I was hoping Suzanne wouldn’t hit you for being so late!” Jenna chuckled.

“Well, it was your fault. Your perfect body had me distracted.” He gazed at her face, spectacularly lovely and heart-shaped with lips like cherries.

“Come to think of it, I do believe it’s my turn. Lean back.”

David grew hard hearing the words. Just as her hands began to unbutton his jeans, a beeping crashed into their ears.

“What’s that?”

David pulled his phone out of his pocket. He spoke. “There’s a fire.” His voice was different, deeper. His face changed. His eyes sharpened and sunk. His jaw hardened. His muscles flexed. His whole body reacted. He forgot about being shy. It was time to do what he did best.

David threw the car into drive and took off, accelerating at a wild rate, although being somehow super safe and cautious. His movements were precise and deliberate. He moved quickly and purposefully. Jenna stared at him. This is it. This is the real him, the hero. Her fingers dug into his arm. Her pussy screamed with want. He was the sexiest man alive.

The truck rocketed toward her apartment and screeched to a stop. “I’m sorry, Jenna. I have to go.”

“I know you do, Honey. Go get ‘em.” She kissed his cheek and felt the fire burn within him. It sent shivers up her spine. “Don’t forget. I owe you one.”

She climbed out of the vehicle and watched him zoom into the darkness.

Chapter Four

“Dammit!” After pacing her floor for hours the next day without a word from David, she remembered. They still hadn’t exchanged numbers. That had to be it, right? Surely he wasn’t hurt. He fought fires all the time. Everyone called him a hero. And he definitely had a great time with her last night, didn’t he? He had seen her breasts after all, and she had great breasts she assured herself. He must be dying to see her again. ‘Oh, well I guess it’s up to me to go see him this time.’

He was the fire chief, so he would be at the fire department. ‘I will pay him a visit with something special. THAT will ensure a third date.’ Jenna looked around her house. She wanted to cook him something, but what? What did men like? What do big, burly, gorgeous, sexy, heroic firemen like? Meat! Jenna rushed to her fridge and freezer and peered in. Alas, she had just moved in days before and wasn’t even that big a fan of meat. It looked like the ASPCA’s dream. Not even a whisper of an animal in that freezer.

What does she have? ‘Hmm, I have milk, flour, eggs, chocolate. . . that’s it! I’ll make him cookies! Men love cookies! David seems like a chocolate lover.’ Jenna hadn’t ever really cooked before, and didn’t really know where to start. However, in this day and age, the internet made everything knowable.

She excitedly sat at her computer and typed in “chocolate cookie recipes.” After reading through reviews and comments, she decided on one delicious-looking picture called “Mark’s Favorite Super Soft Chocolate Chip Cookie.” Well if they’re Mark’s favorites, then they had to be good.

She diligently wrote the ingredients and the procedure down before heading into the kitchen. ‘Ok, Jenna, this is your first time cooking. What do you need? An apron, a cookie sheet, and oven mitts. I totally have an apron, a few sheet cake pans will serve as cookie sheets, and I’m a big girl. I don’t need oven mitts.’  She gathered her things. ‘Just like Rachel Ray.’

Jenna began reading the ingredients and checking them off of her list. ‘I don’t have butter, but I have margarine. That’s basically the same thing. Flour, I definitely have that. Vanilla extract? I have vanilla pudding; that will do. I don’t have baking soda, but I think baking powder is the same thing, right? Adding it. Finally the chocolate chips, which I will substitute with Cocoa Puffs cereal. Jenna, you are a genius.’

She whipped up her concoction, adding cinnamon and a few other spices that had big, delicious sounding names, and threw it in the oven. Ten minutes later, Jenna became the chef to her very first batch of cookies. ‘I didn’t exactly follow the recipe, so these aren’t Mark’s favorite cookies any more. They are my creation. It is my responsibility to give them a suitable name.’ She laid them on the counter and looked at them. ‘I have it! Chocolate surprise!’

*****

David hated training. Same amount of work, but he didn’t get to save anybody while he trained. He got it, though. It was important to stay in peak physical condition and keep those fire-fighting skills sharp and at the forefront of the mind. It could save lives in the future. But he still hated it. This was a bad day for it, too. The fire last night kept them up late and it took David a while to shake off the feelings he would get, the memories, the house exploding, the car burning, the voices of his parents. ‘No, David. Focus. The sooner you finish training the boys, the sooner you can get away from Alex and get back to Jenna. Just a few more hours and you’re home free.’

David stood outside one of Austin Fire Department’s few simulated structural fire buildings. This one was right behind the fire station. David was thankful the live fire trainings didn’t have to be such an ordeal. These structures were the newest in firefighter training technology. They were lucky to have them. They created the most realistic fire-fighting experience possible short of fighting an actual fire. It was a lot safer than using a traditional burn building or an acquired vacant building because computers control the spread of the flames and the speed of the burning although the fires may not burn as hot. He watched as the men held the hose in proper position, rotated through operating the nozzle. Everything was looking good, except for Alex. He kept hogging the nozzle and not rotating quickly enough.

“Alex, it’s important that everyone get experience working the hose. Some of these guys aren’t as initiated as you are. The better they are, the more lives we save.” He always tried his best to be diplomatic, even when Alex made it difficult on him.

“Whatever you say, Chief. Some people are just better with their hoses than others.”

David elected to ignore that one; it was just a little too childish to deserve a response. Then, something happened that he couldn’t ignore.

“He’s right, you know. Alex is the best I’ve seen. Others have no restraint and hurt people with their ignorance.” Veronica approached them from the fire hall.

“Veronica, please get back to the station. We have a live fire training in progress right now. It’s not safe for you. Wait for Alex back in the dining hall; we’ll all be back in ten minutes.”

“Don’t lose control, David. You know what your aggression does to people.” That viper just couldn’t let David be mature. She couldn’t let it go.

David closed his mouth. He watched the training finish, took his notes, prepared his constructive advice for the boys and retreated back to the station without saying a word. A knocking came on his office door.

“Who is it?”

“It’s Hank, Boss.”

“Come in.”

“Hey, Man. How do you feel?”

“Fine.”

“No, Sourpuss. None of that. You really don’t need to take that from those idiots. You are Alex’s chief. He does behave like an arrogant imbecile. You can write that up on his personnel file and nobody would blame you for it.”

“I know, Hank, but it is my responsibility as Chief to always do what is right, it may not always be what is easy, but always I must do what is right. Alex acted like an asshole out there, but he passed the training. I’m not going to say anything.”
