“Dylan,” she tossed her head and groaned. It was more than
sex—it was a completion, a coming home. The weight of his well-built body
pressed against her in a lovely heaviness that made her feel secure. She and
Dylan would never give up on their connection again.

She knew this in the same way she knew with every cell of
her body that Dylan was meant to be her lover. Wrapping her hands around his
powerful biceps, honed through hours of chopping wood, she could feel him
trembling.

He slowed his pace and looked down at her. Meeting her eyes,
he paused his movements long enough to kiss her deeply and the passion she felt
in the kiss enlivened her enjoyment of his body even more. She couldn’t believe
how good it felt to have him again. Back then it had been quick and fumbling,
but now…now it was practiced, purposeful, searing.

With a moan Dylan increased his speed again and pounded into
her, his skin slapping against hers with the primal sound of their sex. He
drove her to the edge of orgasm once more and as she felt his body tense and
his thrusts become more urgent, it happened for her yet again. She dug her
fingers into his back and bucked against him, crying out, her pussy clutching
his cock as he too exploded in orgasm, pumping his cum into her until they had
both used each other up and lay panting together, exhausted.

They were on top of the blankets, their naked bodies
intertwined, catching their breaths. Dylan kissed her face, her neck, her lips.

When she could speak again, she teased, “So what do you
think? Better than the first time?”

“Oh my god, yes…and no,” he added after some thought.

“What do you mean?” She pushed his shoulder playfully. “I
was so shy—I had no idea what I was doing then.”

“But that first time was so sweet. I couldn’t believe you
let me. I can’t even begin to imagine how much time I’ve spent in my life
thinking of those minutes. It was one of my greatest days. And now I have this
day too.” He let his head fall back on the pillow.

“I feel exactly the same,” she whispered, her finger
twirling a circle on his chest.

She squealed as he flipped her onto her back, enveloping her
in his arms. He kissed her mouth softly. “Kip, you asked me why I never
married—this is why. Because I couldn’t find this.”

“What, great sex?” she teased.

“Great sex?” he said slowly, with mock indignation in his
voice. “That wasn’t ‘great’ sex. That was goddamned mind-blowing sex.” The purr
in his voice sent a small thrill rippling through her. “But no, that’s not what
I meant.” He brushed her hair off her face and smiled, stroking her cheek with
his thumb. “I kept telling myself we were only kids and the connection couldn’t
have been as powerful as I’d remembered it. But no one else ever felt right. I
always felt like I was settling.”

“Why didn’t you ever look me up?”

“Honestly, I think I was afraid I’d hear you were married or
that there was no way you could ever forgive me for what happened.” He breathed
deeply and pulled her closer against him. “I figured you’d have moved on.
I
was the one still living here in our past. You were living that big life out
there in Chicago.”

Kip reached up and touched his hair, then placed her hand
over his heart and let her fingers trail gently down over the contours of his
solid chest.

“There was no ‘big life’ without you in it,” she whispered.
“I was just a girl in another town, somewhere, missing you.”

He kissed her slowly and deeply. A warm feeling of love
swept through her and she couldn’t believe she’d gone all those years without
it.

Kip opened her eyes on Christmas morning and blinked into
the soft sunlight filtering through the dusty cabin window. A man’s warm arms
held her snuggled against his hard-muscled, naked body. She took a moment to
let it all fall back into place in her sleepy memory and smiled wide against
her pillow. She was in Dylan’s arms and was utterly happy for the first time in
as long as she could remember.

She wiggled around until she was facing him, her bare
breasts pressed against his chest and her leg against the semi-hard thickness
that lay across his muscular thigh. She rose up on one elbow to look at him and
he stirred, opening his eyes and focusing on her. A radiant smile spread
sleepily across his rugged face, making the shadow of his stubble as sexy as
anything she’d seen out of Hollywood.

“I can’t believe you’re here,” he said, lifting his hand to
brush her hair out of her face. “I can’t believe I woke up today with you in my
arms.” He pulled her in to kiss her softly.

“I can’t either,” she whispered.

“Did you check under the tree to see if Santa came?” he
asked, his voice playful.

“I didn’t have to. I know he did.” She crooked a mischievous
smile at him.

“How?”

“Because he brought me
exactly
what I’ve been
wanting.” She punctuated her morning-husky words by wrapping her hand around
his erection, bringing him rock-hard at her touch.

“Oh god,” he groaned, closing his eyes. “I must have been
so
good this year.”

“I
know
I was, because I got a great big new toy and
I might just play with it
all day
.” She squeezed his cock, a wicked
smile dancing across her lips.

“Kip Parker, you are definitely not the shy girl I once
knew.” He repeated his fateful assertion of the day before, but this time she
was in complete agreement.

“You’re right. I’m not that girl anymore. Now let me show
you.” She pressed her lips to his chest and trailed them downward, nuzzling the
hard ridges of his powerfully built torso. A bead of precum glistened at the
head of his cock and she tongued it away, savoring the taste of him. Dylan
moaned, tangling his fingers in her hair as she took him into her mouth.

She sucked him until his hard length was slick with her
saliva and then climbed on top of him and rode him to her first of many orgasms
that Christmas day.

About the Author

Piper Trace tried to write
mainstream fiction, but her characters kept getting naked and using naughty
words.
Really
naughty words. But these lusty characters were so much
damn fun to hang out with that she gave up trying to control them.

As a young, smart blonde girl,
Piper discovered that she
hated
to be stereotyped, and since then she’s
been rebelling against everything nice, smart girls are supposed to do. She was
the high-school harlot and the valedictorian; she worked in a strip club while
attending a top college on an honors scholarship; she was a roller-derby queen
and a mom; and finally, she’s a lawyer by day and a professional author of
sizzling erotic romance by night. With her background, Piper feels comfortable
with one foot in the trailer and one in the boardroom. She wishes more women
would be as proud of their boobs are they are their brains. Boobs and brains…in
that magical combination lies the power to rule the world.

Piper would love to tell you all
about her writing accolades, but she’s pretty sure that, like her, you’re a
reader who flipped through your mother’s paperback romances for the words
“breasts” or “throbbing” so you could just read the good stuff. Well you found
it. So pour yourself a beer or a glass of wine (Piper loves all kinds) and sit
back. We’re gonna have some fun.
