This is pretty much how it went. Kink and Magnum both stationed together in the military, their parents had met on several occasions when they were enlisted. Both of them had gotten out on disability after they’d both been in the Humvee caravan that was attacked by a suicide bomber. Kink lost some of the hearing in his ears, and Magnum had lost a kidney to shrapnel, apparently he couldn’t fight with one kidney. Because of that, the guys had both rehabbed at the same hospital and the moms had gotten to know each other more, exchanging phone numbers and such. Now it sucked, because they chatted with each other and then ganged up on them.

They kept riding until he hit the exit that would take him to his favorite lookout on Coronado Island. He needed to think, because they were going to have to talk soon. He was getting impatient. When Kink and Magnum had both saw the woman when she came to the compound with Bic for a party, they had been smitten. She was nothing like the other hanger on’s, well mostly because she wasn’t a whore. Some of the women who attended their parties were there for one thing and one thing only, they wanted to fuck a biker. For some reason it made them feel all special. But Boo, nah, she had been the real deal. She was small, and dainty, something Magnum had never gone for in the past, but there was something about her. Kink had felt it too and since then, they had come out to Cali as often as they could without being obvious, or shirking their duties.

The guys had had long talks about Boo and they had both come to the conclusion that they wanted her, and not for a one night hook up, no, they both felt when they were around her that together they would make a great team. Now that they were finally here, and had the chance to claim her, the shit had gone down, messing with their plans. He was not by any way, shape or form patient.

As they pulled into the overlook, Magnum sighed, up here, everything seemed right in the world. You could look over the city and see about everything. You could also look over the ocean and hear the peaceful noises of the waves crashing on the rocks. It was amazing.

Kink said what they had both been thinking the entire time they had been out today. “She needs to be brought back to the compound.”

Magnum nodded and said, “I agree, but we are the only two who think so. The others want us to give her time.”

“Bullshit, dude, you know that was extreme, she doesn’t need time. She had plenty. I think she knows it too. But for some reason, I feel like we are missing something with her. We have both been dancing around this every single time we came here over the last few years. When she first arrived, we both were going to take a shot at her but Bic told us to stand down. She didn’t want us messing with her head. Bic said she was like a wounded bird, she needed to come into her own, and we have both waited. For a long damn fucking time, too.”

Magnum sighed and looked out to the ocean. “I know but, man, you know as well as I do, unless she is all in with this, it is not going to work. We just need to get her alone when she is not doped up on pain meds to talk to her.”

It had all started when Poke and Easy found Freedom, then Creed and Fork had found a woman they both loved and shared, as had two of their other brothers. It had been easy to see how this could work, especially since all the men talked about their relationships to the club, not the personal shit they would totally get in trouble for but the other stuff, the guy stuff that they all worried about. Like if their dicks accidently touched, none of the men were down with that.

But their leaders had told them all when they found the woman they knew was meant for them, they felt it to their bones, just like Magnum and Kink had with Boo, although they had spent the last two years dodging their feelings, two years hiding the fact they wanted Boo, and yeah, two years whacking off or fucking some nameless, faceless chick in order to make sure their cocks didn’t shrivel up and fall off from the constant hard-on they had when they thought of her.

When Creed and Fork announced they were moving the club to Cali, it had been a relief. They wanted to be closer and this would be one more step to Boo. Their leaders had also given everyone the opportunity to stay on, but no one had taken them up on that. Creed sold the daily running of the mine, but they’d all get money from the shares they owned in the place. Rain’s father took over controlling interest in the mine, but he didn’t take their shares. They had also turned over all the businesses to the Devil Savages, and gave them the compound to watch as well. Creed hadn’t sold the land, only lent it out in case this didn’t work.

The Ops Warriors had four businesses: the mine, Slinging Ink, Bitches, and the Bike Shop. All of them worked at one of them, and all of them reaped the benefits. Moving to Cali wasn’t changing things, Creed said.

Freebyrd, who had been the President of the Cali chapter, told Creed and Fork he was relieved, a year ago he promised Bic he would be retiring and would just be a member so they could travel. This way he didn’t feel like he was letting them all down. Of course they were reorganizing, but none of the guys seemed to care one way or another, and Creed and Fork weren’t going to cut anyone out. So they were compromising, which seemed to be working. Truthfully, they were all happy to be together again since the Lady Riders had split in half in the last year and a half. Now they were all back together and they were happy.

Kink and Magnum figured they would finally be able to get to know Boo a little better and then make their move. They had talked about it, planned it, hell, practically fucking obsessed over it, and when she was shot, everything went out the window. Goddammit, their woman was shot for God’s sake, what real man would not be pissed at that? Boo however, didn’t seem to understand why they were so protective and had fought them every step of the way. When they had finally been able to leave the hotel, Boo had gone to her own home. The guys let her, knowing she would be back at the compound the following day. Boo had never returned, and no one seemed to fucking know where she lived.

How in the fuck could that be? None of the Lady Riders had known and they had also been surprised about that. Even Bic had frowned and tried to think of what Boo had said about her apartment, but nothing. None of them knew her whole name either, which pissed the guys off even more. The women had huddled and been shocked at how little they actually knew about the half pint. She had just always been there, shown up, stayed overnight, helped them out. Bic had especially been upset because she really only knew her first name, Betty. That was it, and she was a ghost otherwise. It pissed them all off, and Bic had been sitting on her phone waiting for Boo to call, she hadn’t. It had been two fuckin’ weeks and Kink was at the end of his rope. Magnum was as well, he just hid it better.

The two men couldn’t be more different, they figured it was what made them such good friends. From the moment they were discharged from the military to joining the Ops Warriors together, they had been best friends. The whole trials of being a Prospect had made them closer, it was probably because of the shitty things they had to do during that year. They moved up in the ranks of the Warriors and never looked back. Magnum ran the club Bitches and Kink ran the tattoo parlor Slinging Ink, both were a spectacular success for the club. Moving to San Diego, they already knew the one square mile the Warriors owned held room for them to continue their business right here. It was going to be awesome, both men were looking forward to getting Bitches 2 and Slinging Ink opened again. It would be a lot of work but they didn’t care. However, until this latest bullshit was cleared up, they were stuck just getting things ready. They wouldn’t open any storefronts until they knew for a fact the threat to the club was neutralized.

“You and I both know she was running scared,” Kink said slowly. “Bic said the entire time she had known Boo, she had never seen her even go on a date. She is shy.”

Magnum looked at his friend and nodded. “I know, and I also know that she wants us. I am just a little worried about all this shit swirling around the club. How do we bring her into this now? Hell, she was already shot for being around the club to begin with. And we need to get our business up and going. Maybe we should give her some time to heal, get her head on straight, and let the women do what they do. Bic said she was going to talk to Boo about finally moving onto the compound.”

They already knew the Lady Riders thought of her as part of their club, in fact Rain, Treat, and Bob already had a cut made for Boo a few months ago. She was just a part of them, and they all knew it, no vote was needed. Shady and the others agreed.

Kink’s phone rang and he swore. “Shit, we were supposed to be at the meeting already,” he said and answered his phone. “Creed, we were… What? Are you serious? Where is she? What the fuck?”

Magnum stepped forward with a frown and waited. Something was going down, and from Kink’s tone, it was not good. His friend finally hung up the phone, and he looked at Magnum with dread in his eyes.

“Boo was going to therapy this morning and a man approached her and gave the Warriors a warning. Apparently she called Bic.”

“And,” Magnum said grimly, something else had tweaked Kink, he could tell. His friend was usually a cool customer, nothing shook him and he always found the good side to things, while Magnum was more serious, and literal. They fit since they were opposite of each other.

“She refused to come to Bic. Said she had shit going on, but Bic said there was something wrong, she could hear it in her voice,” Kink said grimly.

As of yet, they hadn’t delved too far into her past, and because they all respected her, they just assumed she needed to take a break, especially after being shot. It pissed them all off, and they knew when they discovered no one knew where she lived they could have found out, rather quickly too, but they didn’t want to piss her off any more than she was. Now though, they may have given her too much space, because this was bullshit and she was gonna come in no matter what the fuck she thought. They headed to the bikes and when they got back to the compound, they’d go to Boony’s house. He was a computer wiz, and if Bic hadn’t already put him on Boo’s tail, they were going to.

Chapter Two

Boo left the therapist in tears. She turned to the building and flipped off the man, even if he didn’t see it, the point was it made her feel better. Damn he was a sadist. She was contemplating what it would take to have therapy notated as S&M, because that was what it felt like. She moved to her car and got in, leaned her head back and closed her eyes. Her arm burned, and she really just wanted to go home and wallow in misery, but she couldn’t. She needed to go to the university and talk to them about what this break meant to her last semester of college. She was almost done, and all she had left was her clinical hours, but she couldn’t do that with her arm. She refused to take a semester off, she was one of the oldest in her class at twenty-four. She sighed loudly, and no one was here to ask her what was wrong, which was a depressing thought. Shaking her head to clear her mind, she leaned forward and started her car.

If she had not been in pain, and been focused, she would have seen the man who had warned her, following her in an old beat up car. Boo drove quickly to the parking lot of the main offices for admission. She would beg and plead if she had to in order to make sure they would allow her to make up the hours she was loosing because of her injury this semester.

She moved quickly and made it into the office before they closed for lunch. The admissions officer was thankfully still there, and as they sat in his office, Boo could see into the parking lot. She was waiting patiently as he pulled up her transcripts. She picked out her car in the parking lot and was thinking it needed a cleaning. Then she saw him, the man who had grabbed her outside the therapy building. Boo stiffened and listened with a half ear while the admissions officer was talking.

“Ms. Bromp?” the admissions officer finally said when she missed several of his questions.
Shit
, she thought,
what the hell was he doing here
? Following her? She gave the message she had been told to give, she was out of this.

“Sorry,” she said quickly. “I was, uh, thinking about what you said.”

Apparently this was an acceptable answer, since he nodded and then continued. “Your grades are exemplary, so I don’t think they will have a problem allowing this. I will send the emails.”

Thank God, at least something was going in her favor. She half listened and half watched the man in the parking lot. But when she was done filling out the paperwork explaining her injury and request for a leave of absence without withdrawing from school, she looked outside to see the man still there. Shit, she was going to have to walk out there and just get into her car and ignore him, it was the only thing she could do.

Taking a deep breath at the door, she opened it, ready to make a run for her car. However, the gods had another idea for her, because when she exited, she felt someone tug and pull her backpack, stopping her in her tracks.

Boo instantly thinking the bad guy had brought company, turned and kicked like she was trained. “Whoa, whoa, whoa,” she heard, but it didn’t register. Boo fought for everything she was worth.

“Babe,” she heard and she fought. She wasn’t going to let anyone hurt her ever again, damn it. She was sick of it, and all of the pent up emotions she had since being shot and having no one to talk to came flooding out. She didn’t care about her shoulder, although it hurt like a bitch, she used it anyway.

Like a wounded animal she screeched, scratched, clawed, and bit, and she wouldn’t stop, ever. The arm she had latched onto was suddenly thrust at her, moving so she couldn’t do a damn thing, and wrapped around her. She fought some more, this time using the leverage of his body to kick back. She knew it was a man because of the hair on his arms. Then there was another hand, and another,
what the fuck
? she thought as she fought,
he had four arms
? Obviously she wasn’t thinking clearly and later she would be completely embarrassed for even thinking that, let alone screaming. “You four armed bastard, you will never take me alive!”
Yeah, dramatic much
?
