“You going to come for swim?”

“A swim? Really after what you just did to me?”

“It’ll be fun, I always wanted to go skinny dipping in the ocean.”

“I don’t think so,” grabbing her by her arms.

“You don’t?”

“I am going to throw you down into this sand, and fuck you hard,” I dictated sternly.

Giving me a cocky look, sort of like a ‘Oh yeah,’ she stood there waiting for me to make my move. Forcing her to her knees, following her down, I pushed her backwards, her hands catching her fall. Her tits facing up, I jumped right in, licking them, biting sensually. Not waiting any longer, I pulled her legs out from under her, she was now laying flat on her back. Pushing my dick inside of her, gliding in easily with the help of her warm juices. Feeling the coarse sand beneath my hands as I steady myself above her. Not being satisfied with the position, I take her two legs, forcing them together I put them over my right shoulder. Bending her legs into her chest, I could feel her getting tighter, as I got deeper inside of her.

Thrusting slowly at first, her tight pussy feeling magnificent with every push into her. Her face crinkling as her rousing facial expressions began to cover her face. Her eyes opening wide, her neck extending as she arched from enjoyment. Grabbing the back of her head, I feel the sand throughout her hair, I grasp a handful of her golden locks and tighten my grip. The sensation of pulling her hair made her whimper.

“Come on Kevin, fuck me,” she demanded. “Fuck me harder.”

I ramped up the speed and force significantly, pushing myself as hard as I could inside of her. Feeling us shift in the sand with every powerful push, Rachael’s blue eyes twinkling as she ogled at me. Rachael bit down on the corner of her bottom lip as she moaned intensely. Unexpectedly flipping me over, she rolled us so she could be on top. Feeling the coarse sand cover my back, pointy shells pricking my skin, adding an invigorating sensation.

Straddling me, she bent forward to give me a kiss softly on the lips. Pushing my chin to the side, exposing my vulnerable neck giving me a strong bite, the feeling shooting throughout my entire body.

“You ready?” She whispered into my ear.

Grabbing her hair, yanking her head backwards, “You know it.”

Leaning her body back, pushing her hips forwards, bouncing herself up and down on my stiff rod. Feeling the ridges of her insides, stimulating my head immensely. Her tits jiggling as she continues to work on me. I feel the pressure starting to build up inside, my penis becoming more sensitive with every juicy pounce. My eyes rolling into the back of my head, legs starting to shiver.

“Don’t stop,” I murmured with staggered breath.

I feel myself pop out of her abruptly, “Whoops,” she mocked, holding a finger up to her mouth. Jumping off of me, running back towards the house.

“Where are you going now?”

Not answering me, her ass joggling as she ran back into the house.

Smacking my fist aimlessly into the sand, I was starting to get a little agitated. Jumping to my feet, doing a slight jog back into the house.

“Rachael,” I called out as I entered the sliding glass door to dark bedroom, a light shining through the crack of the bathroom.

No answer, but I hear the shower running in the distance. Entering the bathroom, I see Rachael standing under the stream of rainfall falling from the ceiling above. Her back turned towards me, she was showering as if nothing was going on.

“Your kidding me right?” Asking sarcastically.

Taking her head out of the stream of water, “What are you talking about?” raising her left eyebrow up.

“Quite fucking with me,” joining her in the shower.

Squirting some of her tropical scented body wash into her hands, starting to lather up my chest, her hands massaging into my muscles. Slowly working her way down to my abs, massaging my nuts with her soapy hands. Juggling them in her palm, the mind-blowing slickness of the soap continuing to arouse me as she played with me. Grabbing firmly on to the base of my dick, pulling it violently. Jerking me off, I couldn’t contain myself anymore.

“I’ve had enough of your shit,” I whispered.

Pushing her up against the marbled walls, forcing her arms down to her side, restraining her from getting away again. Biting her lips uncontrollably, felling up her tit with my right hand, grabbing a handful of ass with my other.

“Now your going to get it,” I stated with an unforgiving tone.

Turning her around, bending her over while propping her leg up onto the marble bench molded into the wall. Without hesitation I rammed my dick inside of her and started to pound her. Pulling her hips into me as I thrusted forward. The pressure staring to build up inside me once more, I grabbed a handful of her hair pulling it back riding her like a stallion. My toes starting to curl beneath me, the feeling starting to overcome my body. Thrusting harder into her, the head of my dick becoming overly delicate. Rachael’s moans getting louder, echoing in the shower stall. My dick begins to pulsate as I feel myself unloading inside of her, a tingling sensation shooting through me as I continued to pound her persistently. The well deserved feeling of euphoria came over me as I slowed my rhythm down to an eventual stop. Leaning over her for second, trying to catch my breath.

“That was great,” I rejoiced through heavy breathing.

“Sure was, I love teasing you. You get all frustrated and really take it out on me. That’s when you fuck me your best,” stating with a smile over her face. “Now can I really shower?”

“Sure let me help,” I responded with a slight chuckle.

Squirting some of her body wash on to my hands, I started to massage her back. Feeling her sweet vanilla skin beneath my hands. As I reached around to her front, I pulled her into me. Snuggling with her as I wiped down the front of her, trying to remove all the coarse sand from her body. Softly kissing the back on her neck, I whispered into her ear.

“I don’t know what it is about you. It’s like I am addicted to you.”

“Who wouldn’t be?” She jested in a tranquil manner.

“There’s the quips I love.”

I see her ears raise as she smiles at me. I didn’t want to leave this moment, I was fully satisfied, a beautiful young women wrapped in my arms, how could anyone ask for more? Standing there motionless, just hugging Rachael from behind. She had her arms wrapped around mine returning the hug.

“I love you,” I hear Rachael whisper over the sound of trickling water.

“I love you always,” I responded in joy.

“I’ll be outside,” pecking the back of her head, leaving the shower.

Watching the waves roll in on the calm sea, the sand illuminated by the moonlight of the clear sky. For the first time in my life, my mind went blank, not a thought. No worries of work, family worries were no existent, everything just seemed to fall into place. Hearing the raspy sound of the door opening, Rachael steps out with a towel wrapped around her head, wearing an oversized t-shirt. Sparking up a cigarette in-between her lips, a cloud of smoke covering her face.

“It’s a beautiful night,” she commented.

“That really is a disgusting habit Rachael. You need to cut that out.”

“First the heroin, then the cigarettes, why not just take everything away from me Mr. Bossy,” taking another puff, “One thing at a time.”

It didn’t bother me so much, it actually gave her an old-school elegant look like they use to insinuate. However the pungent odor of smoke that lingered on her breathe has taken some getting use to. The concept of an ashtray also irked me, a pile of ashes filled with used butts that would just sit there and collect germs. If it got wet? The water turns yellowish-brown smelling to high heaven.

“Just trying to help you, you have quite a few unhealthy habits,” stating with concern.

“Y’know Kevin, I have been meaning to ask you something,” turning to stare through my eyes. “Why me? Why did you pick me out of everyone else in the world?”

“What do you mean?” Looking at her slightly confused.

“Why did you pick me? It’s not like you don’t have any options. Your rich, your sexy, you have everything going for you. A wife, kids, a successful business, everything a man could want,” taking a deep drag off her cigarette. “Things like this don’t happen to people like me. You bought this house for me, bought me new clothes, a sexy ass car, and I just can’t figure out why.”

“Rachael, to be perfectly honest, I don’t know why. The day I saw you at Toni’s, you just looked so beautiful, like a perfect painting. When we had sex, I felt an instant connection, a hole in my heart filled, I was alive again. I really don’t know why it all is happening, I can’t place my finger on it. It is almost as if you chose me, I didn’t choose you.”

Her eyes tearing up in joy, “You see, how can a girl resist somebody who says things like that. Your just perfect, give me a kiss.”

Leaning in to give her a kiss, her breathe still smelling of smoke, slightly warm wet lips, “Come on, lets go to bed. You got an early day tomorrow.”

“What do I have to do tomorrow?”

“We have to get you dosed. I have to get to work and you can hang out here.”

“Another lonely day? Come on! You can’t just leave me here all day,” she was getting slightly agitated.

“I have to go to work, I can’t just hang out here all day,” trying to find something for her to do. “Why don’t you plan the nursery, the paint, the furniture, and anything else you think is could use. Go on the computer and figure it out. If you get bored clean the house, go grocery shopping.”

“Turning me into a housewife?” Smiling at me in joy.

“Well yeah, if you want this life you have to be the wife. Now lets go to sleep.”

Ushering her into the bedroom, lying down underneath the cold sheets. I snuggle up next to Rachael, caressing her arm as we drift away into a sound sleep.

Chapter Twenty-Six

Ear piercing buzzing filled the room as the alarm clock buzzed to wake us up. Rolling out of bed I hit the snooze, Rachael seemed unaffected by the exasperating sound of the alarm clock. Jumping in the shower, the steam filling the room, I quickly wash my hair. Scrubbing my body down with Rachael’s body wash so I could smell her all day long at work. Hearing the faint sound of the alarm clock buzzing once again. It was abruptly stopped, Rachael finally got up.

Stepping out of the bathroom, towel draped around my waist, I see Rachael standing there slightly swaying trying to wake up. Small pieces of plastic and metal surrounded her on the floor, I looked over and noticed the alarm clock bashed to pieces.

“What did you do that for?”

“That fucking thing is annoying.”

“It does have an off button, just to let you know,” sniggering at her.

“Yeah whatever. Are we going or I am just going back to bed.”

“Of course we are going, let me get dressed. You going to change?”

“No. Just hurry up,” she said as she scratches the top of her head.

Sifting through the clothes in my closet, picking out my typical black dress slacks, polished dress shoes, and a flat black long sleeved dress shirt. A shiny black silk tie added a slight contrast to finish off my outfit for the day.

“Alright, I’m ready,” Rachael still standing in a daze. “You hungry?”

“No Kevin. Can we just go?”

“Sorry, let’s go.”

Pulling into the parking lot, it was like a photograph, everything was exactly the same. Two girls in front of us, having a very peculiar conversation to be having at a rehab center. They were talking about where they could get ‘blues and bars’ after they left the center. My curiosity got the best of me, and I jumped into their conversation.

“Not to be rude but why be here if your just going to get high when you leave here?”

They turned around, scowls across their face, “Why don’t you mind your fucking business, Mr. Hotshot,” looking back away from me.

“What cunts,” whispering into Rachael’s ear.

Rachael burst out laughing, causing the two girls to turn back around looking at us. The rest of our wait was rather silent, Rachael was nodding in and out of consciousness, the girls in front of us were silent the rest of the time.

“Name?” The nurse asked me again.

Looking at her as if she didn’t remember me, “Rachael Barrick.”

Grabbing her dose from the cabinet behind her, “Drink up.”

Rachael tosses it back, letting out a sigh of relief, placing the cup back on the counter.

“Alright, come on. I have to get to work.”

Driving Rachael home something seemed a little off. She wasn’t waking up, her head nodding, staring out of the window with a vacant stare. Lowering the seat down into a flat position trying to go back to sleep.

“Hey, are you alright?”

I see her mouth moving as she try to make her speech audible.

“Hey!” Giving her a blunt hit to her thigh.

“I’m fine, just tired,” she barely stated.

“Is the medicine working?”

“It’s fucking early Kevin, I’m just tired,” saying with a slight irritation in her voice.

“Okay, sorry.”

Pulling into the house, Rachael was completely knocked out. A complete three-sixty from what has happened the last couple of days. Grabbing her motionless body out of the passenger seat, carrying her across my arms into the house. Resting her head down on the pillow, covering her with the flat sheet on the bed. I grabbed some paper and a pen out of the nightstand to leave her a message.

‘Have a productive day, you have a lot to do. If you need something give me a call. Love you always.’

Giving her a kiss on the forehead, leaving her sound asleep snoring.

Walking into Onyx Environmental, a tense feeling filled the air, Ann locked eyes with me, “You look rather happy today.”

“What do you mean?”

“There is a different pep in your step, a glint in your eye. Like everything in the world is okay.”

“I had a pretty good night,” smiling at her.

“Well I hate to be the bearer of bad news then,” she stated hesitantly.

“Nothing can ruin my mood today Ann, just tell me.”

“Well, there has been a lot of grumbling in the office. Everyone is getting a little nervous about some things they’ve over heard, the people coming in and out of here. You flipping out at the Christmas party.”

“Okay...What are you trying to tell me?” Looking at her with calmed eyes.

“Maybe we should have a meeting, you could calm everybody’s nerves.”

“Okay, fine. Set it up for tomorrow afternoon after work, order some food, drinks, and send out the memo.” Starting to walk away, going towards me office.

“Mr. Barrick,” grabbing my attention again, walking towards me. “Here, take this back. I don’t feel comfortable accepting this. I didn’t even open it,” handing the black envelope back to me.

“Ann, keep it. You deserve it. I will not accept it back.”

“Mr. Barrick...”

“Enough,” cutting her off sternly. “Don’t insult me please, just keep it.” I walked away from her, turning the corner to the hallway.

“Mr. Carlson called,” Ann echoed down the hallway stopping me dead in my tracks.

Without turning around, “And what did he say?”

“I’m sorry for my negligence but I wasn’t aware of a meeting you have tomorrow. He called to confirm your meeting tomorrow at one. Should I tell him your available?”

“I’ll take care of it Ann, thank you.”

My office carried a baleful feeling as I walked in. The sheltered sun barely illuminating the space. A stack of neglected papers lingered on my desk awaiting my approval. Sitting down at my desk, with no desire to work, I stared at the clock listening to the hushed sways of the pendulum. Grabbing for my phone I texted Rachael.

Kevin: Hey, you up yet?

Watching the phone for several minutes, there was no response.

Kevin: I guess not

My phone buzzed in my hands.

Megan: That’s it? Your just going to disappear.

Kevin: What are you talking about? You kicked me out of the house, what do you expect?

Megan: We NEED to talk.

Rachael: Hey honey, hows your day going?

Kevin: It’s good, how are you feeling?

Rachael: Not too good. I think it was a bad dose.

Megan: Hello?????????

Kevin: What do you mean bad batch?

Kevin: I am at work you know. Want to meet tomorrow for lunch?

Rachael: It didn’t taste right and doesn’t seem to be working.

Kevin: Okay, I’ll call the doctor.

Megan: Fine. Where are we going?

Kevin: Sushi?

Megan: Would of never guessed.

Kevin: Love you.

Megan: I’m starting to think not.

Rachael: Thanks babe, mwah.

Kevin: See you later.

My head spinning from the conflicting conversations, Megan still wanted to talk to me, not really sure why. She is an amazing women to still want to talk to me after all I put her through, still putting her through. Now Rachael’s medication isn’t working, have to deal with that headache. Dialing the doctor’s office on my desk phone, the phone rang briefly, and I hear the familiar voice of the nurse at the front counter.

“Hello?” She answered unprofessionally.

“I get medication there for my wife, it doesn’t seem to be helping her today. What can we do?”

She responds with a cringe worthy “Name?”

“Barrick.”

“Well it shows here you just started treatment. You may need an adjustment in treatment. You are going to have to talk to the doctor.”

“Okay, when can we do that?”

“The doctor is gone for the day, you will have to come by tomorrow morning to speak to him,” she stated matter of factly.

“What am I suppose to do in the mean time? She is not feeling well.”

“There isn’t anything I can do for you.”

“What do you mean NOTHING, there has to be something,” starting to get irritated at the nurse.

“Sir, you will have to wait for the doctor.”

“Go fuck yourself,” slamming the phone down into the receiver breaking the handle of the phone. I had to share the news with Rachael.

Kevin: Hey, we can’t do anything tomorrow.

Rachael: What do you mean? I need something, I am getting sick.

Kevin: Just relax, I’ll be home as soon as I can. Love you.

“Mr. Barrick,” Ann screeched over the speaker.

I flinch in my chair, “Jesus Ann, scare the shit out of me why don’t you.”

“Sorry sir. Your son is in the lobby. He says he has something for you.”

“Let him back,” rolling my eyes in disbelief.

What could be wrong now?

I see the door of the office crack open, Benjamin poked his head in.

“Dad, you busy?” He asks with caution.

“No not at all. Come in please,” getting up from my chair, adjusting my clothes slightly. Walking up to him, giving him a hug and much to my surprise he reciprocated.

“How’s the car?” I asked curiously.

“It’s great but I really need to talk to you about Mom,” his face lacking emotion. “She really wants you to come home, she misses you. We miss you.”

My eyes lit up when he said that, “I know, I am working on it Ben. I miss you guys too. I am just caught in the middle of a lot of things right now. I’m going to talk to Mom tomorrow, going to try and work some things out. One day you will understand, actually I hope you never understand.”

“Don’t treat me like a child,” seeing the sadness in his eyes. “Mom wasn’t fucking you good enough so you..”

“Don’t talk to me like that,” I snapped at him.

“I know what’s going on, you had your fun, you fucked your whore...”

“Hey!” Snapping at him again.

“Look, all I am trying to say is come home. You had your fun, now just come back. We need you, we want you,” sitting down on the couch.

“I appreciate that Ben but there is a lot more to it than sex.”

“You remember when,” Ben completely changing subjects, “I use to drive around with you all summer to go to work with. We use to joke and talk about the dumbest things in-between stops. For lunch we always stopped at the gas station over on Lawrence for a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich.”

“Yeah, those were the best weren’t they?”

“Yeah, they were. I’d follow you around your clients’ houses and we would time ourselves to see how fast we could get every job done. At the end of the summer you would take me to the store and let me pick out a few things, anything I wanted. Whatever happen to that guy?” I see Benjamin’s eye start to tear up. “The things don’t matter to me. You can take the car back, the boat, the house, I just would like one more summer with my Dad, the one I remember,” standing up, heading towards the door.

I was speechless, Benjamin was pouring his heart out, making me feel like shit. Regret consumed me, but confusion quickly filled my head with questions.

If they really felt this way, why didn’t they show it? Maybe they finally realized what they took for granted? Or maybe there was a problem with the Kevin-Schematics, and I have just been ignoring them.

“I have to go,” Benjamin muttered as he opened the door to let himself out.

I stood at the door, waiting for him to get a minute head-start on me. Quickly following in his footsteps, I couldn’t stay here, I was too emotionally drained.

Passing by Ann in the lobby, “I have to go. I got some things to take care of.”

“Okay, are we still doing the meeting?” Ann asks.

“Of course, but don’t call it a meeting. Call it a gathering, non-formal.”

“Yes sir, have a good day.”

Racing home to check on Rachael, I burst through the door, nothing is moved from it’s place. The entire home is quiet, you could hear a pin drop. Going back to the bedroom, I find Rachael, still knocked unconscious, but notice someone else in the bed next to her. Not being able to make out who it is, I creep to the other side of the bed. Pulling the sheets away to reveal an unfamiliar face. Filling with rage, I rip the sheets off of him, to find out he was wearing one of my suits. Giving him a shove on the arm, he remained unresponsive. Firmly smacking his face but it still didn’t phase him.

Running to the bathroom in a fit of anger, grabbing a glass and filling it with water. Tossing the water on his face, waking him up quickly. He looked around confused as if he didn’t know where he was.

“Who the fuck are you?” I ask lividly. He looked at me dumbfounded and didn’t offer a response. “Who are you?” Asking him again in a slow manner. “Why are you in my house, wearing my clothes, and laying in my bed with my fucking girlfriend?” His eyes glazed over, still not responding. “Okay, just get the fuck out, and keep the suit.” I pulled him out of the bed, and was about to throw him out of the room through the slider before I noticed the used needle laying in the bed next to him. “You come here, get high, shoot my girlfriend up, and don’t expect me to be aggravated?” Talking to him as if he really gave a shit what I was saying. “You deserve every bit of this.”
