“Come here mi reina, just one more beso,” Ricky kisses her with todo his pasión and corazon. Ricky is in love and doesn’t know the extent. Toda la familia knows.

Ricky and Jacki go to the order their invitations. Ricky also makes an appointment with Alfredo, Jose Enrique’s amigo to see some casas manana.

The doorbell rings. “Mama I’ll
get it,” says Jessy.  Jessy opens the door. “Mi amor, come in.

a please come in and welcome to your casa.”

“How are you mi hija, it has been a while since I have seen you,” says Jose Enrique’s mama.
Señor
a Queta walks up to Jessy, gives her a hug. “I’m muy feliz.”

Jessy hugs her back. “Si, I’m muy feliz,” replies Jessy trying not to cry. She pulls back, turning to
Señor
Francisco, and he also gives her a hug.

“Welcome to la familia Jessy,” says
Señor
Francisco. “I’m contento that mi hijo finally noticed what a bella chica you are and it’s about time.”

Jose Enrique pulls Jessy into his arms, at his side, smiling. “Si padres, I finally noticed my bella novia.”

“Let’s go into the living room, mis padres will be here in a few,” says Jessy beaming.

Cortez enter the living room, just as the doorbell rings again. “I will get it,” says Senor Cortez walking away.

He walks to the door, opens the door. Ricky padres are standing there. Ricky is parking his carro.

“Hola buena’s noches, I’m Ricardo’s padre, Jorge De La Cruz, compadre,” says Ricardo’s padre extending his mano out for a hand shake. “This is my esposa Guadalupe.”

“Mucho gusto, I’m Jacqueline’s papa Juan Cortez, please come into tu casa compadres,” says Jessy’s papa, stepping back to allow them to enter. Ricky and Jacki are right behind them.

“Compadres please come this way. We’re all meeting in the living room. I believe that mis otros compadres are also here, Jose Enrique padres,” says

Cortez leading the way. They follow

Cortez into the living room to where the rest of the party is seated.

Jose Enrique walks up to Jessy’s papa. “Señor Cortez, these are mis padres, Francisco and Enriqueta De La Cruz.”

Señor
Cortez leans forward, extends his mano to shake their manos. “Nice to meet you compadres, I’m Juan Cortez.  I believe you already met mi esposa Rosa?”
Señor
Cortez turns to introduce Ricky’s padres to Rosa. “Rosa, I want you to meet Ricardo’s padres Jorge y Guadalupe De La Cruz,” he smiles.

“Mucho gusto comadre,” says Jorge, extending his mano in greeting.

“I’m extremely happy to meet you comadre,” says Guadalupe, smiling at Rosa extending her hand in greeting.

“Si, let’s have a seat,” says
Señor
Cortez indicating the sofa. They all take a seat, smiling with pleasure.

Señor
Cortez sits. “Would you care to have something to drink?” asks
Señor
Cortez. “Would you like some coffee, cerveza, or tequila?” 

“Muchas gracias compadre, estamos bien,” replies Ricky’s padre Jorge, smiling.

“Thanks, but we are okay,” says Jose Enrique padre Francisco nodding.

“Compadre Juan, comadre,” says Ricky’s padre Jorge standing, turning to look at his compadres. “I’m embarrassed and dismayed with the thoughtlessness of mi hijo Ricardo. The actions of mi hijo Ricardo Emanuel have been very irresponsible and inconsiderate to you. We have raised Ricardo better. I feel that the only thing that I’m extremely feliz about is that mi hijo Ricardo did the right thing and married Jacqueline. I recognize that this marriage is hasty, but I’m confident in nuestros hijos amor and maturity. Ricardo has made arrangement with the padre for the church ceremony to take place on
June 18, which is only in three weeks. I hope that this meets with your approval.”

Señor
Cortez looks at Ricky’s padre Jorge, acknowledges the peace offering.
Si he is attempting to amend the situation. I do recognize that Ricardo has indeed expedited the boda. I know that he’s not playing with mi niña,
contemplates

Cortez. 

“Compadre Jorge, my esposa and I are extremely feliz that Ricardo did marry Jacqueline after their actions. We are even further reassured to hear that the church ceremony will be taking place within a reasonable time. I will not tolerate Ricardo Emanuel to play with my niña. I have also advised Ricardo and Jacqueline that I will not allow them to live together until the church ceremony has taken place,” says
Señor
Cortez, looking at his compadres and at Ricardo.

“Compadre Juan, my esposa and I understand and we appreciate your position. I completely agree with you. Ricardo and Jacqueline will have to wait until the church ceremony has taken place to start their marriage,” replies Papa Francisco nodding in agreement, turning to look at Ricardo.
Si he better understand and adhere to

Cortez wishes. This is the way it is. El

Cortez will not budge, he is old school,
thinks Papa Francisco
.

“Compadre Francisco I’m contento that we have come to an understanding. I’m satisfied with the date for la boda,” says
Señor
Cortez smiling.

“

Cortez I sincerely appreciate your understanding and I’m extremely feliz on your approval of our marriage,” says Ricky sincerely smiling.  

Señor
Cortez can ascertain that Ricardo is sincere, that he indeed cares deeply for his niña. This allows
Señor
Cortez to release the anger that he is feeling. 

“Ricardo, we welcome you to la familia. All that we care about is that our niñas are extremely feliz and valued,” states
Señor
Cortez looking at Ricardo and Jose Enrique. 

Jose Enrique and his padres are listening to the exchange. They all realize the importance of resolving Ricardo’s and Jacqueline’s situation before proceeding to their asking for Jessy’s mano.

“I am genuinely feliz everything has been resolved for Ricardo and Jacqueline,” says Papa Francisco. He stands and turns to face Jessy’s padres.

“Compadre Juan, comadre Rosa, my esposa Queta and I have the extreme honor of asking for la mano de Jessica Maria in marriage to our hijo Jose Enrique. We have known Jessica for several years. We have watched her flourish into a bella, smart, and sweet mujer. It is a pleasure to welcome such a bella and smart mujer into our familia as la esposa of nuestro hijo.”

“Compadre Francisco, I appreciate that you have taken time to come and ask for my Jessica’s mano in marriage. I know that Jessica is extremely in love with Jose Enrique. I’m also aware that Jose Enrique is a grand hombre and will make my Jessica muy feliz. My esposa Rosa and I have no objections to their marriage,” replies Papa Juan nodding, beaming.

“Well now that we’re all satisfied, I think it is time to make a toast to the future felicidad of nuestros hijos and to sweet nietos,” says Papa Francisco smiling.

“I will get the glasses and Champagne, my vida can you give me a hand?” asks Jessy smiling, walking towards the kitchen.

“Si mi amor,” answers Jose Enrique following Jessy into the kitchen. Jessy and Jose Enrique get the drinks to celebrate.

“Compadre Juan and comadre Rosa, my familia will like to have honor and pleasure of inviting you to dinner to celebrate this joyous occasion,” says papa Francisco waiting for their response.

“It will be a pleasure,” replies
Señor
Cortez smiling, nodding.

“Jacki how are you feeling?”
asks Jessy getting dressed. 

“Jessy I’m a little sad, I want to be with Ricky,” replies Jacki looking at the magazine.

“I suggest that you get used to it and just pretend that you’re dating,” says Jessy turning to look at Jacki’s sadness.

“Ricky will be here to pick me up early. We want to go and look at some casas. He wants to see if we can find one that we like. We want one here in the same neighborhood. Ricky wants to make sure that we can move into it after we marry,” says Jacki. “I’m a little nervous about the Sunday dinner. La entire familia will be there.”

“Yeah, I am a little nervous also. Even if we do know all of them,” says Jessy nodding. “Jacki I think that your wedding gown is hermoso. I saw the pictures and it was a lovely wedding. The wedding didn’t look like it was a quick Vegas wedding,” says Jessy smiling at Jacki.

“I know, Ricky thought of todo. I love him,” replies Jacki smiling. “I never dreamt that he will want me. You know how he has a playboy reputation.  I know that he was always with a different mujer every week. You know he never noticed me. I always looked at him and admired him at work from afar.  I loved him, but I had buried these feelings deep in my corazon a few years ago. I just didn’t want to be his play thing.  So I always kept it to myself.  I knew that he never noticed me at work. I hardly ever went out of my office. You know Jessy that I always started early and sometimes I left late.  Then when I went for a walk, I ran into him. Then I saw him at work.  I also saw him at this party that I went with Angela,” says Jacki looking out of the window.
Oh yeah, I remember our first time making love on the beach.

“I have been seeing him the last few weeks. I never told him my name or gave him my number. He didn’t know who I was. Until on Friday that we went to the club, did he learned who I was. I didn’t want to take him seriously, because I didn’t know how long his attention was going to last. I always ran away from him, not giving him any information. I didn’t want him to want me to be one of his playthings.” She turns to look at Jessy’s amazed

, thinks Jacki biting her lower lip.

The doorbell rings and Jacki jumps up. “I will answer it Jessy, I know it’s my baby.” says Jacki muy feliz running to get the door.

Jacki opens the door, sees that it’s Ricky. Jacki throws herself into his waiting arms, wrapping her arms around his neck, pulling him down for a hungry beso.

Oh si, my reina misses me.
I just love the way she kisses me with todo su pasión, this hunger,
thinks Ricky, pulling his esposa closer. After a few minutes Ricky remembers where they are.
I don’t want sus padres to get any madder at me. We better stop. Oh but mi reina tastes so delicious. I better stop this or we’ll get out of control
. 

Ricky pulls back to look at his reina, observes su pasión and need in sus hermoso ojos, the same pasión that he’s also feeling. 

Jacki pulls Ricky down, whispering in his ear. “Baby I want you, I ach for you, and I miss you.”

Ricky hears what she says,
she just unleashed a burning desire to male love to her, but I can’t.
Taking a deep breath for control, Ricky whispers. “My reina I want you and I need you. I will make love to you today. I don’t know where, but I will find a place for me to make love to you. Eres mia,” says Ricky. He feels her tremble with emotion. He hugs her closer. He wants her to feel his need, burying his face in her neck breathing in her awesome scent.
