She giggled. “Is that a bad thing?”

Jerry sighed. “Not for me, but it could be for others.”

“Like my dad?”

He nodded.

“Then we’ll have to keep it a secret until the time is right. My dad will come around, you’ll see.” She slid her hand over the stubble on his face. “I like the way your face feels.”

He smiled and caught her fingers in his mouth, nibbling them. Unlike Kylie, he didn’t share in her optimism that Banger would accept him fucking his daughter. Jerry wasn’t a fool, but he also couldn’t keep his hands off her. He should’ve left before she’d come out of the shower, but he didn’t and they were naked in bed again. Staying for the weekend couldn’t hurt, and he didn’t like Kylie being all alone in her dorm, especially since a lot of the students had left. He knew Banger wouldn’t want her by herself under the circumstances.
Yeah, that’s a good way to rationalize what you’re doing to Kylie. Fuck, I almost believe my own B.S.

“I love being with you. I knew making love would be good, but I didn’t think it’d be
this
good.” She kissed his smiling skull tattoo on his bicep. “I’m glad you came to visit me.”

He squeezed her. “I am too.”

She paused. “Are you staying for the weekend?”

I should get my ass on my bike and get the hell outta here. I know that’s the best thing I can do for her, and for Banger. He’s the goddamned president of my brotherhood. I owe him my loyalty.
“Yeah, if you want me to.”

Her head bobbed up and down. “I’m so happy.”

And I’m so fuckin’ screwed.
“Let’s go for a ride. There’re some cool backroads around here. You ever explore them?”

“No. I’ve wanted to, but they’re not so easy to do with a car. You really want me to ride bitch on your bike?”

“Yeah.”

“You never let women ride bitch.”

“I don’t, but I want you to.” He raised himself onto one elbow and trailed his finger down her arm, smiling when goose bumps popped up. “I gotta wash up. We’ll head out in half an hour.” He dipped his head and kissed her, then pushed up from the bed, gathered his clothes, and padded to the bathroom. Kylie lay on the bed naked, the sunlight streaming in from the window casting a peachy glow on her skin. She was gorgeous. His dick twitched as he closed the door.

They spent the
day laughing, talking, and kissing more than Jerry had ever kissed any woman in a twenty-four-hour period. Everything was perfect, and he decided to let go of his guilt and enjoy the time he had with Kylie because once he returned to Pinewood Springs, he’d have to forget about her. He’d have to fuck her out of his system with the whores and hoodrats. But for the time being, he was having the best time he’d ever had with a woman.

Women to Jerry were there for fucking, giving pleasure to the brothers when they needed it. The concept of having anything with a woman outside sex never occurred to him. Even when he’d made the decision to come to Crested Peak to see Kylie, fucking was the goal. He thought he’d bang her a few times and be back at the club in time for a rowdy Saturday night party. It never entered his mind that he’d have a good time with her beyond screwing. So the fact that he was enjoying her company enormously shocked and scared the shit out of him at the same time.

The Banger problem was always present when it came to her, but the truth was he didn’t want a relationship with any woman, including Kylie. He liked the freedom of fucking different women, and he didn’t want a woman around trying to change him. Women were like that; they acted like they were cool with the way a man was, but then, when the guy got hooked, they’d try and change him. He wasn’t down for that. He also hated women who nagged, and it seemed like all women took that route at some point in a relationship. No, he wanted to stay a free agent without any attachments. And having a good time with Kylie disturbed the hell out of him.

“What are you thinking about? You have such a serious look on your face.” She looped her arms over her bent knee as they sat on the blanket she’d brought. They’d turned off the backroad an hour earlier, stretching out the blanket on the ground to rest before they headed back to Crested Peak.

“Nothing much. Just drifting a bit. I like it here. It’s different sitting here without being in the mountains. I mean, they’re nice in the distance like this, but I’m used to being
in
them, you know?”

“I do. When I first got here, it was so weird not being surrounded by the mountains. You get used to it. I’m so glad my room faces west, so I can see them every day.” She pulled out a few blades of grass and put them between her teeth, chewing lightly.

“You like it here, huh?”

“I love being at the university. I also love being on my own. I’m so glad my dad let me come here. I was afraid I was never going to leave Pinewood Springs or live on my own.” Her laugh fell on his ears like the tinkle of wind chimes on a summer day.

“It’s good to be on your own. You have to learn how to survive, ‘cause you never know what shit the universe is gonna throw your way.”

She smiled. “You’re too somber. Are you ticklish?”

He frowned. “Nah.”

“Sure?” She inched closer to him, moving her fingers, a sly grin on her face. Reaching out, she dug her fingers into his sides, tickling him.

“Is that how you want it?” He pretended to be perturbed then grabbed her and tickled her stomach and sides, triggering a bout of laughter as she tried to wriggle away from his grasp. She collapsed on the ground, her eyes watery, knees bent. Then he smothered her laughs with his mouth, running his hands over her full breasts. He unzipped his jeans and placed her hand on his throbbing dick. “Hold it hard,” he murmured against her lips.

Kylie curled her fingers around his hardness tentatively then squeezed it gently. “I like it hard, baby,” he whispered in her ear.

“Won’t it hurt?”

He chuckled and hugged her. “Nah. You ever touch a cock?”

“In high school a few times. Having a dad who is president of an outlaw MC doesn’t get a girl many dates, you know?”

“What about in college?”

“No. I haven’t been that interested in anyone here.”

He was panting, his dick aching for relief. “Have you ever given a blowjob?”

“A few times.”

“Wrap your lips around my cock.”

“I don’t know if I’ll do it right.”

“I’ll tell you what I need. Right now, I need my cock in your mouth.”

Kylie opened her mouth and he put his dick inside, and she closed her lips around it. He held her head between his hands and told her to grab the base of his hardness real tight while she moved her mouth and tongue up and down. With his instructions and her willingness to comply, he came hard in her mouth. When she swallowed his seed, a weird sensation ran through him but he quickly pushed it down, not liking where it was taking him.

Stuffing his dick back into his jeans, he watched her as she discreetly took out a tissue and wiped her mouth. “That was great, babe.”

She shook her head. “I don’t think I did it right. I’ve only done it a few times.”

“The way I feel and the shit you just swallowed tells you that you did great.” Red streaked her cheeks, and he thought she looked too cute. “Next time, it’ll be better. I like that you aren’t a pro at it.”
Why am I talking about ‘next time?’ I gotta end this, but she’s too—fuck! No buts. I gotta finish this.
“You wanna eat something?”

“Yes. I’m starving.”

“Let’s get back to town. You pick the restaurant.”

Kylie picked up the blanket and folded it neatly then placed it in his saddle bag. Hopping on behind him, she wrapped her arms tight around his waist, her head against his shoulder. He’d never had a woman on his bike, but Kylie was the exception. She’d always be the exception for everything in his life. Turning the bike around, they took off toward Crested Peak.

At the Grizzly Saloon, Jerry watched as she scarfed down the rest of the fries they’d ordered. She was more animated than usual, and a small pang of guilt pricked him.
He
was responsible for her laughter and sparkling eyes, and he’d also be the one to turn her laughs to sobs and her sparkle to tears. He never denied he was a bastard, but he was sorry he had to hurt her.

“Am I talking too much?”

He shook his head. He liked hearing her voice, the way she grew excited when she told him about the things she did at school with her friends. For being raised by a hardcore outlaw biker, Jerry was surprised how sweet and innocent Kylie was. She wasn’t even rough around the edges. He never knew her mom, Grace, but he supposed it must have been due to her influence and the fact that Banger went out of his way to shield her from the darkness of the MC outlaw world.

Kylie stopped talking in mid-sentence, her eyes narrowing as she stared over his shoulder. He looked behind him and saw a guy of medium height, brown hair down to his neck, and very intense eyes approaching their table. “Who’s that?” he asked.

Before she could reply, the man was at their table. Jerry thought the guy seemed nervous, with all his fidgeting—hands at his side, hands on the table, hands back at his side. It was annoying the hell out of Jerry.

“Kylie.” It was a statement. The man glanced at Jerry then back at her.

“Hey, Marcus. You didn’t go away for the long weekend?”

“No. I thought for sure you were gone. You’re so popular.”

The way he was checking out Kylie was pissing Jerry way off.
If he doesn’t move his eyes from her tits, I’m gonna smash his face in.
He clenched his fists in anticipation.

“I had too much to do. You ready for finals?”

“You look pretty. You always look pretty.” Marcus licked his lips, blinking rapidly.

The fucker has a death wish.
“Who the fuck are you?” Jerry sat up straighter in his chair.

The guy turned his head and looked Jerry in the eyes. “A friend of Kylie’s. Who are you?” He hissed out the last question, and Jerry began to rise from the table.

“Jerry, this is Marcus. I should’ve introduced you. We’re in the same political science class. Jerry’s my real good friend.” Pink flushed up her neck, making Jerry smile.

His smile turned to a sneer when he addressed Marcus. “She’s with me, and I don’t like guys coming up to the table chatting with her and checking her out. You get my drift?”

Marcus narrowed his eyes and a hard edge tinged his voice. “I don’t like guys who have more muscle than brains telling me who I can talk to. You get
my
drift?”

For a split second, shock punched Jerry in the gut.
The guy
does
have a death wish.
Noticing Kylie’s tight face, he reacted before she could say anything to him. With one punch, Marcus went down with a thump and a loud groan, blood spilling from his mouth.

“What the fuck, Jerry?” Kylie asked in a hushed voice.

A man ran up to their table and looked down at Marcus who was lying flat on the floor. The fellow was in his thirties and wore a tie, so Jerry presumed he had to be the manager.

“What happened here?”

“He tried to grab her tits. I don’t go for that shit.”

Kylie jumped in. “He was bothering me, and he did accost me. If I were by myself, I would’ve been terrified.” Jerry smiled. She was a biker’s daughter; she knew loyalty always lay with the club.

Marcus stumbled to his feet and swayed a bit. “I didn’t do anything to her. I know her from school. This asshole got jealous and belted me.”

The manager looked between the three of them. “Well, sir, I have this man and woman corroborating each other and you don’t have anyone to back up what you’re saying.” He turned to Kylie. “Do you want to press charges?”

“Press charges? This is ludicrous!” Marcus removed the blood-stained napkin a patron had given him from the corner of his mouth. “I should be the one pressing charges against him.” He pointed to Jerry, who stared blankly at him.

“No, I don’t want to press charges. I just want to forget the whole thing,” Kylie said.

“Okay.” The manager looked at Marcus. “Sir, I’m going to have to ask you to leave.”

Marcus’s face turned dark red and he stared at Kylie. “You’ll be sorry for this.”

Loud enough for Marcus to hear, Jerry hissed, “Don’t fuckin’ threaten my girl. You don’t want me as an enemy.” He saw the guy’s eyes dart to the manager, but the man was already assuring patrons that everything was fine and everyone should go back to their tables. Marcus glowered at Jerry then walked toward the exit.

With the excitement over, diners went back to their own lives, and soon everything was as it had been before Jerry had decked Marcus. Looking at Kylie, he smiled broadly.

“I’m so glad you did that. I’ve been wanting to do it for the last few weeks.” She grinned at him and he laughed his ass off, causing a few patrons to glare at him.

“Who was that fucker?”

“Some guy who came up to me at the spring festival. I don’t know if you remember him—I barely do—but we were eating when he came up to me. Anyway, it turns out he’s in one of my classes, and he’s been creeping me out ever since. All he does is stare at me. He came to my room out of the blue, and he seems to always be lurking around. I think he wants to go out with me, but he rubs me the wrong way.”
