As the book ends, what information is provided that again brings the importance of the story to a national level for the nation of Judah?

Why, then, does this account of Naomi, Ruth, and Boaz appear “under the microscope” of Scripture? Why does the author zoom in to reveal so much about the lives of three seemingly insignificant people?

ead the book of Ruth prayerfully. Don’t expect to find a lot of fancy prayers written out to repeat, but note the language used by the characters. Specifically, record all the places you find the phrase “May the Lord . . .” or something to that effect.
