“Yes Mom, I mean no Mom, Grant did not spend the night.  I promise.”  Molli saw her cross her fingers behind her back.  “Of course you’re too young to be a grandma.  You’re hot Mom.  Grant and I are being careful, I promise.”

Mr. Price cleared his throat.  “It was my understanding that you two hadn’t taken that step to cement your relationship yet, though what I caught you two doing the other night already made it hard for me to believe that I suppose.”

Grant blushed.  “I’m sorry Mr. Price.  I love Seneca.  When I told you that I want to marry her, I meant it.”

“I believe you Grant.  If I didn’t, I would have come after you with a shotgun when I saw what you were doing to my daughter and what she was doing to you.”

Seneca looked at her father.  “I promise we won’t do it again Daddy.”  Then she grinned.  “You know I can’t lie to you.  I promise that we’ll be better at not getting caught next time.”

Mr. Price shook his head.  “Were we ever that young Clara?”

Clara Price laughed.  “Don’t you remember what my dad walked in on us doing Dale?  He did come after you with a shotgun.”

Rain rolled his eyes.  “You guys are all weirdoes.  You don’t want me to think about girls like that and you talk about sex all the time.”  He looked at Molli and gave her a wide grin.  “There was a picture of your tattoo going around my school Molli.  It is so hot that you have a tattoo on your butt.”

Dale gave his son a dirty look.  “If there are pictures like that going around your school again Rain, don’t bother to look at them.  Especially if they happen to involve your sister’s best friend.  Give me your phone so that I can make sure you don’t still have that picture.  It’s none of our business where Molli has a tattoo.”  He winked at Molli.

Molli gave him a weak smile.  She couldn’t believe that pictures of her tattoo had made their way to the Jr. High School.

Rain sighed.  “C’mon Dad, it’s not like I think of Molli that way anymore.  She’s hot but she’s more like a big sister now.  And it would be way wrong to think of my sister like that.  It’s a cool tattoo Dad. You should look at the picture before you delete it.”

Seneca laughed.  Molli gave her a dirty look.  “Hey Mol, I’m not the one with a tattoo on MY butt.”

Molli sighed.  “My tattoo is not on my butt.  Okay, so yes, part of it is, but not the whole thing.  You’re the one that wants to give Grant a tattoo on his.”

Seneca gave her parents her best innocent look.  “She’s lying.  I never said anything about giving Grant a tattoo on his butt.  Right Grant?”

Grant cleared his throat.  “I plead the fifth.”

Seneca threw a pillow from the couch at him.  “Grant, you’re supposed to be on my side.”

“Not when it comes to you wanting to tattoo your name on my butt.”

Dale shook his head at his daughter.  He took Rain’s cell phone and scrolled through the pictures.  When he got to the one of Molli’s tattoo he paused.  “That’s very good work.  Where did you have it done Molli?  Look at this Clara.  You always wanted to get a tattoo didn’t you?”

Seneca giggled.  Molli hid her face in her hands.

Clara handed the phone back to Dale.  “It is very nice work Molli.  Do you have the name of the artist who gave it to you?  I have always wanted a tattoo.”

Molli uncovered her face.  “She was still starting out when she gave that to me.  I don’t remember her name, but I think I have her card back in my room somewhere.  I’ll give the info to Seneca when I find it.”

Clara nodded.  “Thank you.  What do your parents think of you having a tattoo?  Though I suppose they must have given you permission.”

“Um.  I don’t think that they’d like it very much if they knew about it.”

“I see.  Well, you are almost eighteen and it’s not my place to inform them.  Though Seneca, you had better not think of talking someone else into giving a tattoo or trying to give yourself another one either.  And even if Grant decides it’s okay, you are not giving him a tattoo on his butt, your name or otherwise.  We could have sworn that you were torturing poor Molli when you gave her the tattoo on her ankle.  If you want to give tattoos, wait until you can get a job at a shop.  And I would prefer it if you waited until you were eighteen until you get one yourself.”

Seneca’s eyes were wide when she looked at her mother.  “How did you know about that?  You and Dad were out in the yard the whole time, listening to loud music and talking with the neighbors.  I didn’t think you could hear anything over that.”

Clara laughed.  “Parents have eyes in the backs of their heads and super sensitive ears, especially when they have teenagers.  You two were so intent on what you were doing that you didn’t notice when your father stood at your window and watched you until he figured out what you were doing.  We let you have your fun because we knew that if something had gone wrong, you would have come to us.  We like to think that we are the kind of parents that you can talk to about anything.”

“You are Mom.  You too, Dad.”

Dale smiled at his daughter, but it quickly faded.  “We know that Grant spent the night here last night.  The busy body across the street made sure that we knew his car was in the driveway all night as soon as we got home.  If your boyfriend is going to spend the night, and if he were another boy or his home situation was different Seneca Janise this would not even remotely be an issue; you are going to ask permission and he is going to come in through the front door and not your window.  You are going to pay to fix your window from your allowance though I have no idea how Grant ever fit in your window anyway with as big as he is.  Grant will sleep on the couch and not in your bed.  We will get a dog if we have to that is very protective of you and doesn’t like teenage boys to make sure that he stays on the couch.  You hear me young lady?”

“Yes Daddy.  Thank you Daddy.  I’m sorry for lying to you Mom.”

Clara shook her head.  “I saw you cross your fingers behind your back you silly child.  Mrs. Benson needs to learn to keep her nose out of other people’s business.  Now, don’t think that just because we have accepted the fact that your boyfriend has a rather unique situation at home, that it’s going to be an excuse for him to be here every night.  He is not going to be here the whole time when we’re gone over Thanksgiving break either.”

“Of course not Mom.  Thank you Mom, Dad.  You guys are so cool.  I love you.”

“We love you too sweetie, but if we catch Grant in your bed and you two are doing anything other than sleeping, you’re not going to think we’re quite so cool anymore.”

“Yes Mom.”

“Hey Dad,” Rain said.  “Were you serious about getting a dog?  But you have to get one that doesn’t hate all teenage boys.  I’m one too remember?”

“Of course we remember Rain.  You make it really hard for us to forget sometimes.  Have you cleaned your room?”

“No Dad.  I’m sorry.”

“Clean your room and then you can show Grant your new video game.”

“Okay.  You want to help me clean my room Grant?”

Grant shook his head.  “No way dude.  Your room smells.  I don’t want to know what you do in there.”

“C’mon man.  My parents are okay with you doing my sister, the least you could do is help me clean my room.”

Grant wouldn’t look at Seneca’s parents.  “Okay.  But we gotta open the window so that we can breathe.”

Grant started to follow Rain down the hall but Dale said “Grant?”

Grant turned.  “Yes sir?”

“While we may not exactly be thrilled with the fact that you are doing our daughter as my son so bluntly put it, we do like you and we do realize that you care for Seneca.  If we didn’t appreciate that, we wouldn’t make the exceptions that we’ve been able to make in your relationship with our daughter.  It would be nice if your parents appreciated you more sometimes though.”

“Yeah, I know.  Thank you Mr. Price, Mrs. Price.”

Dale smiled and then let the boys continue down the hall.  He turned back to Seneca.  “Your mother and I are going to take a nap.  Why don’t you work on cleaning your room?”

“My room is already clean.  You and Mom are gonna go have sex.  I figured that out years ago.  The only time you two ever take a nap is together and you sure aren’t getting any sleep when you do.  You don’t want Molli and me out here because you know we’ll hear you.”

Molli could see that Dale was trying hard not to smile.  “Go in your room anyway.  Why don’t you ask Molli to help you go through your clothes?  I’m sure there are some that you need to get rid of and the clothing bank at the station is getting empty.  We don’t use it much, but we gave a lot of what we had to a young family last week.  I know you have some clothes that are getting too small for you and make you look less than respectable.”

“C’mon Dad.  Just tell me to get rid of the clothes that you think make me look slutty.  And admit that you’re going to have sex with Mom.  It’s okay.  We all know you still do it.  Even Grant heard you the last time he was over here when you two took a ‘nap’.”

Dale chuckled.  “Sometimes I don’t think your brother knows, so don’t mention it to him okay?  And I don’t like the word slut either.  I thought you wanted to dress up like a prostitute for Halloween to further dispel stereotypes.”

Seneca laughed.  “I bet I have the only Dad in the world that’s a cop and is okay with his daughter dressing up like a prostitute for Halloween.  I convinced Molli to dress up with me and Grant’s gonna be our pimp.  Isn’t that so cool?”

“I’m not sure if cool is the word I would use to describe it.  Go and get started on your room.  Your mother and I are very tired.”

Seneca made a face.  “You get like that when you have Rain in the car with you?  Now that is gross.”

Dale shook his head.  “Go Seneca.  It was nice seeing you again Molli.  I hope that our crazy family dynamics don’t convince you that you don’t want to visit anymore.”

“Nah, you guys are way cooler than my parents will ever be.  They act so old sometimes; you’d think they’re already dead.”

“Ah.  Get started on your clothes Seneca.  I’ll bring you a box to put them in when your mother and I are done napping.”

Dale followed Clara into the bedroom.  Seneca laughed and called out “Just say that you’ll bring me a box when you and Mom get done doing it Dad.  It’s okay.  I won’t tell anyone.”

Molli shook her head as she followed Seneca back to her bedroom.  As they passed Rain’s room they heard him say “They do not still do it do they Grant?  My parents are too old to do that stuff.”

Molli didn’t hear Grant’s reply.  She helped Seneca go through her clothes.  They had two good sized piles by the time her dad brought her back a box.  His hair was wet.  Seneca grinned at him, but didn’t say anything.

The Prices ordered pizza for dinner.  Grant drove her back to school afterwards.  Mellenda wasn’t there and she was glad.  She finished her homework and then went to bed.  Mellenda still wasn’t home by then.  She was jealous, thinking that her roommate was probably out with Ricky, maybe even having sex with him.  She yawned and wondered what it would be like to have sex with Ricky as she fell asleep.

The next weekend she spent in her room, catching up on her studying.  It took her so long to read most of the time, especially when it wasn’t something that she was particularly interested in, that she read as little for her classes as she could during the week.  She felt like she was barely scraping by as it was.  Mellenda was gone all weekend.  Jude didn’t bother to call her.  Eduardo called her twice, but she ignored him.

Chapter 4

The next Friday, she was caught up on her homework and feeling very bored and almost depressed.  Mellenda had taken off right after school.  She knew that she was meeting Ricky, because she’d heard her roommate bragging to another girl out in the hall about how hot her boyfriend was and how good he was in bed.  She thought about calling Seneca, but knew that she was hanging out with Grant again, and that they were going to the movies.  She didn’t want to feel like a third wheel.

She was laying on her bed, listening to music and was half asleep when her phone rang.

She picked it up and answered without looking at the caller ID.  “Hello.”

“Hey sexy.  How come you’ve been ignoring me?  Just ‘cause you’ve been letting Jude take a taste of you doesn’t mean that I don’t still want mine.”

“Do you realize how disgusting you sound?”

“I sound sexy when I talk and I look sexy when you see me.  Come on over baby.  We’ll take a trip to the place that no man will ever take you to better than me.”

Molli snorted.  “Yeah right.  I’m gonna go to sleep Eduardo.  I’m depressed and want to be alone.”

“Ah, does your boyfriend not bring you flowers or tell you that he loves you?  You must have given him one too many blow jobs Mol.”

“Screw you Eduardo.”

“That was kinda my plan when I called you up Molli.”

“No.  I don’t like having sex with you anymore.”

“We’ll have to change that then won’t we?  I’ll pick you up in half an hour.”

“No.”  Molli sighed.  “Ah, what the hell.  It’s not like I’ve got anything better to do tonight.”

“Thanks Mol, you always did know how to give a man an ego boost.”

“Like you of all people need an ego boost?  I think you choose the women you sleep with on purpose so that they’ll tell you you’re the best they ever had.”

“Many a fine woman and many a slut have told me that I’m the best they ever had.”

“They were probably drunk or lying to get you to shut up.”

“Bitch.  That doesn’t mean that I don’t still wanna fuck you though.  I’ll see you in a while Mol.”

“Yeah.”

Molli hung up her phone.  She put her shoes on, grabbed her jacket and headed out.

She walked quickly through the woods and waited impatiently for Eduardo on the road in front of the school.  But he wasn’t anywhere to be seen, either in his car or Peggy’s since he seemed to drive that more frequently lately than his own.  Molli was sure that Crisha had probably found some way to take possession of their shared car, especially since she obviously had a greater need for it than Eduardo did, since she was the one that took care of their children.

Molli had gotten tired of waiting for Eduardo to show up and was walking down the road towards downtown Brentwood when a horn honked behind her.  She turned and saw Eduardo behind the wheel of Peggy’s car.  He stopped the car.  She sighed and got into the passenger side of the old car.

“Why are you driving her car again?  We’re not going to her apartment again are we?  It’s so creepy when she’s there and you still want to do it with me.”

“She has a name.  Peggy doesn’t mind sharing my fine ass so why should you?  She’s not there though.  She’s out visiting with her kids.”

“I can’t believe she has kids.  How in the hell did that crack head raise kids and not ever have them end up in foster care?”

“They did for a while.  But those CPS idiots gave them back to her because she was a good mom.  Her kids turned out great.”

“Probably with no help from her.  Or was her husband a junkie too?”

“She don’t like to talk about her old man much.  Why are you so damned cranky all the time?  Are you on your period?  You know I don’t mind getting a little blood on my dick but they shut off her water so we can’t take a shower.”

“You are so disgusting Eduardo.  I don’t want to do it with you at all half the time anymore, let alone when I’m on my period.”

“Molli come on, Daddy’s missed you.”

Molli made a face.  “Can I have a cigarette?”

“Go ahead.  I really have missed you baby.  How come you never call me anymore?”

“I have a boyfriend.  I always told you that if I got a boyfriend, I was going to stop doing it with you.”

Eduardo made a face as she lit the cigarette.  “You’re not fair Mol.  You can share me but I can’t share you?  And you know that it’s not over ‘til I say it’s over.”

“Uh huh.  You’re drunk aren’t you?  You smell like you took a bath in alcohol.”

He laughed.  “So what?  I’m over the age of twenty-one.”

“Let me drive.”

“No.  We’re almost there anyway.”

Molli sighed.  “I’m going home if you’re too drunk to get it up.  And if I’m busy with Jude, I’m not going to call you or come by.”

“You are such a bitch.  What happened to the hot little girl that used to get so worked up about sitting on my dick or my face?”

“You do know that you can talk sexy without being completely nasty right?  It’s really gross for you to call me a little girl.  That makes you sound like a child molester.  It became a lot less fun sitting on your dick after you started screwing Peggy and I started to be afraid that I’d catch AIDS.  And you haven’t bothered to go down on me since she came into the picture either, though I have a pretty good idea of why that is.  Does that answer your question Eddie?”

He gave her a dirty look and then pulled into the parking lot of Peggy’s apartment complex.  “Maybe I’ll find me another pretty little high school girl who isn’t such a bitch and doesn’t have a boyfriend.  How would you like that Molli?”

Molli shrugged.  “Go ahead.  Good luck finding one of those around here though, even from the public school.  You might be able to find yourself a nice fat girl who has low self-esteem.  I heard fat chicks that don’t think they’re beautiful just because they’re fat are really good in bed.”

“No way would I bone a fat chick.  Their pussies smell nasty.”

“Gross.  Like Peggy’s doesn’t.”

“If you don’t shut your mouth about my woman I’m gonna have to shut it for you.”

He put the key in the door and unlocked the apartment.  It was a mess like usual and there was a funny smell in the air.

“Are you gonna hit me?  If you hit me, I’ll never come near you again.  I am not one of those girls that are still going to be with a man that hit me, not even once.”

“Women hit men just as often as men hit women if not more.  They just don’t like to call it abuse when you’ve got a vagina between your legs instead of a penis.”

“Yeah right.  I’m sure some women hit men, but not more often than men hit women.”

Eduardo shrugged.  “You love the internet so much; take a look at some real statistics.  I think that sometimes a man and woman need to duke it out to keep their relationship healthy and that the cops need to stay the fuck out of it.”

Molli snorted.  “You went to jail for hitting Crisha once didn’t you?  I will look it up when I have time because I don’t believe you.  It hardly keeps a relationship healthy if you beat the crap out of each other.”

“I went to jail for hitting Crisha when she hit me first.  The bitch threw the vacuum cleaner at me too.  But did they take her ass to jail?  Hell no.  They made me take parenting classes and DV classes and all this shit so that CPS wouldn’t take our kids but she didn’t have to take none of that shit.  She’s perfect because she’s a woman even though she took the first swing.”

“Ha.  Why did you bother to do all that stuff?  You never bother to spend any time with your kids.”

“Crisha grew up in a religion that is totally anti divorce.  She would have thrown something at me way worse than the vacuum cleaner if I would have made her lose the kids.”

“I can’t blame her.  Why doesn’t she leave you even if she doesn’t want to divorce you?  I would have left you a long time ago if I was her.  Don’t you think it’s humiliating for her to hear about all the other women you’ve been with?  You probably shove it in her face when you ever bother to go home too.”

“Crisha ain’t never gonna leave me.  She’s addicted to the glory that is my cock.  So what if I tell her about all of the other chicks that I bone?  Most of them don’t mean a damn thing to me.  It’s just sex.”

Molli rolled her eyes.  “Yeah right.  It’s just sex when you’re sneaking into your house in the middle of the night and stealing money out of her purse to buy crack for Peggy.”

“I never said Peggy was just sex or you were just sex.”

“Sure Eduardo.  What in the hell does it mean when you say it’s just sex?  There’s usually emotion tied in on at least the part of one person who’s doing it.  Don’t you think that a lot of friends with benefits end up dating or even getting married?”

“Sex is a bodily function.  It’s about one body helping another body get off.  If you want to add in all that bullshit emotion, you call it making love.  Even if you do give a shit about the person
you’re doing it with, it’s no fun to ‘make love’.  What happened to wanting it hard and fast?  You used to love it when I gave it to you like that.”

“Ugh.  With the way that you talk, it’s a miracle that I ever wanted to do it with you.”

“You came on to me the first time little girl, in case you don’t remember.”

“Yeah, ‘cause I was horny and thought you were hot and didn’t know you were married because you don’t wear a wedding ring.”

“A wedding ring is a stupid piece of metal.  It don’t mean shit.”

“I bet you’d get pissed off if Crisha didn’t wear hers.”

Eduardo shrugged.  “Yeah, so what?  Crisha is my woman.  She knew the kind of man I was when we got together.”

“Okay, this is probably a dumb question, but are you saying that it’s okay for you to mess around all you want and not for Crisha to do the same thing?  That’s bullshit.”

“Crisha can’t mess around.  She’s got two little brats to take care of.  Men and women are different.  You don’t see chicks walking around thinking with their vaginas all the time.”

“I can’t believe you talk about your kids like that.  Sure, some people probably call their kids brats when they’re joking around, but they don’t really mean it.  I think you do.  It’s really screwed up that there are so many men out there that are fighting for their right to be a father and there are still guys like you who don’t give a shit.”

Eduardo shook his head.  “You know Molli; you don’t play very good at being stupid.”

She gave him a dirty look.  “Fuck you.  I never said I was stupid.”

“Yeah, but you think you are.  You’re not stupid.  You just don’t learn the same way that all those stuck up bitches at Crestview do.  You’re another opinionated woman like all the rest.  Believe me; some of the women I’ve been with have sounded way the fuck stupid.  You’re not one of them.  Now c’mere and sit on my dick.”

Molli made a face.  “Why would I want to when you put it like that?”

“Some women like it when I talk dirty.  Even Crisha likes it when I call her a dirty slut.  You used to like all the dirty little things I whispered into your ear when you were on top of me.”

“I did not.”

“Don’t lie to me Molli.  You wanna tell me some more about what you do with your boyfriend?  You should tell me when and where you’re gonna do it sometime so that I can watch.”

“You are so nasty.  Is that what Peggy does when she’s here when we do it?  Never mind.  I don’t wanna know.”

Eduardo laughed.  “C’mon baby, I want your hot ass bobbing up and down on my lap.”

Molli wrinkled her nose.  “Ugh.  Can we get this over with so that I can go home and go to bed?”

Eduardo reached out and grabbed her wrist.  “Now that wasn’t nice.  Come here Molli.  Now.”

Molli jerked her wrist from his grasp.  “Why should I be excited about having sex with you when you don’t bother to try to be nice to me anymore?”

“Ah, does Miss Molli need a trinket to prove big Eddie’s love for her?  I can’t do it this week, but maybe I can buy you something next week.  You know I love you baby.  I love your tight ass and your tits and your mouth.”  Eduardo laughed.

“Just shut up.  Let’s go in the bedroom.”

“There’s no sheet on the bed.  One of Peggy’s grandbabies took a piss on it when they spent the night last week.”

“Oh, you two are so disgusting and filthy.  I thought it was bad having sex with Jude in his smelly truck or on the ground out in the woods.  I was way wrong.  That so does not compare to this.”

“I forgot that you grew up in the lap of fucking luxury.  Do you have a maid to wipe your ass when you’re at Mommy and Daddy’s house?”

Molli snorted.  “Are you kidding me?  My parents would have never laid out the cash for a maid.  They made Bethany clean and then when I got old enough, they made me do it.  I think that’s why they adopted her and had me.  Gladys makes Tremont do it now.  He does it all and he’s not very good at it either.”

“Ah, did Daddy turn your white panties pink in the washing machine Molli?  You poor baby.  You rich girls really have it bad.  You should hear about the way Peggy grew up or Crisha.  Then you’d know what it’s like to really have something to whine about.”
