Tears sparkled in her eyes, and she squeezed his hand tighter. “It was like God whispered to me that my life was going to get better. So I closed my eyes and began to sing the words I'd learned years ago—words of thanks for unknown blessings already on their way. I opened my eyes, and you were standing there. I fought against it at first, but in my heart I knew you were the unknown blessing that was already on its way when I first began to pray. God had sent you to me.”

Matthew's eyes were full of tenderness as he reached out and pulled his wife toward him. “I love you, Rani Jackson,” he whispered in her ear.

Rani snuggled against her husband and silently thanked God for the unknown blessings He was already sending to her and Matthew. She could hardly wait to see what they were.
