Chapter 8
: As fate would have it

After my
recent flings, adventures and going nowhere rendezvous, I decided to give the whole online dating thing a break. In fact, I gave the entire dating scene a break all together. The sex and dating was fun but I was lonely and bored with everything. I moved into a smaller apartment in a different part of the city and tried to move on as much as I could from my recent life. My new apartment was smaller than my old one, but had better lighting and was cosy. When I had just moved in and was still unpacking, one of my neighbours came to welcome me to the neighbourhood. He introduced himself as Marco, my next door neighbour. I remember thinking this guy really has a great body. He was well built, had dark olive skin and when he spoke it was hard to tell which part of the world his accent came from. It was not until he told me that he was originally from Brazil that I knew that he had a sweet Brazilian accent. The first time we met, we really did not speak that much as I had a lot of unpacking to do. He offered to help to which I replied sure. I was happy for any help when unpacking was involved.

Over the next
few days, Marco would come over and keep me company, telling me facts about the greatest coffee shops and restaurants in the area. We started to get to know each other and I learnt that he was a math professor at the city college. He was kind hearted and a good listener. He was also cute, really cute, and he made me smile every time I saw him. Marco was not typical. He did not know he was good looking and did not try to be. He at first seemed to me like a bit of a nerd. Shy, not sure what his next move would be, but then he always surprised me and threw random conversation topics at me like he didn’t have a care in the world. He was very different and I liked that about him. If Marco could not come over, I made sure I went to his place and we eventually started dating. I enjoyed his company and though he was not as rich as the other men I had dated in the past, he was definitely what I needed.

However, at the time when things were going well with
Marco, I got a call I did not expect. Remember Derek Hudson, one of the doctors that I had dated? He had gone abroad for work and never called me despite the fact that we were in a serious relationship. Any way, he asked if I was free to meet for lunch and I thought he owed me an explanation for disappearing so I decided to meet him. He looked as good as usual and this time he was on time. We talked and he explained how he had never stopped thinking about me and apologised for not keeping in touch. We talked for a long time and I also told him about the crazy life I had had the past few months. We spent the whole day together and we somehow ended up back at his place. I guess I realized how much I had missed him. He said that he was still interested in me and I ended up spending the night.

It was a pretty passionate night as memories of the
feelings I had for him came flooding back. Since we had a past together, he knew all the right places to touch me. He knew how much I liked it when he kissed my neck and that is the first place he went. After that kiss, I melted and I knew that there was no chance of me leaving his place that night. From my neck, he went made his way slowly to my shoulders and then to my breasts. I have no idea how he removed my dress, but I found myself lying on the bed. When his lips brushed my breasts, I could not hold back a moan. He moved to my belly button and then to the dampened cotton crotch of my panties. Soon after that, my panties were on the floor and he was kissing the crotch where they had been. At this point, I guiltily admit that I came quickly. I could not help it, and I did not want him to stop. When he finally lifted his head, I could feel him looking at me through the darkness and he whispered, “Oh, how I want you my love”. My nails dug into his shoulder and I thrust my tongue into his mouth. I then begged him to take me and that is when I felt him inside me. It was a feeling that was all too familiar and the way he moved his hips was amazing. We moved in perfect union and though there was no music, we made our own. I knew he was no small man, but it still surprised me that I could feel him all the way to my stomach. I heard someone moan and shout and it was not until after a few seconds, that I recognised my own voice. When it was all over, he fell on top of me and held me like he did not want to let go. He didn’t let go of me all night.

In
the light of morning, I knew that I now had two men that I was interested in, and two who were interested in me. On the one hand was this hot rich doctor who had abandoned me and on the other hand was a not so wealthy college professor that I had strong feelings for and did not want to be apart from. I went back home and tried to avoid Marco as much as I could. I knew that I could not see both men at the same time, so I had to make a choice. It was either the rich doctor who I could not keep my hands off but did not have time for me, or the poorer college professor with a rich heart and morals who I very much connected with. This city is full of rich men and beautiful women, but there is very little love and mutual caring involved. For most women here, wealth and riches are worth more than love. Many would trade their hearts for jewellery and expensive wines. I had experienced life with different rich men and had been to the most high class places in the city. However, all the wealth in the world did not buy me happiness or the freedom of being in love with a man who held my heart and not just my legs apart.

I
explained to Derek that he had the chance to have a life with me and he chose his career time and time again and so, I chose to be with Marco. Not too long after, Marco and I had fallen head over heels in love and moved in together. I never wanted to be away from him and he made every effort to be with me as much as he could. He was smoking hot sweetness all bundled together in a perfect olive skinned bow. I’ve had my fun, messed around and met my fair share of interesting men. But absolutely none of my seven sins could compare to Marco. He and I are best friends, lovers, husband and wife, and our relationship gets stronger as we grow closer each day. He also looks better, licks better and moves better than anyone ever has or ever could. In the end, I don’t regret anything. I did not end up with the wealthiest man, but I ended up a rich woman none the less.
