LIME
Substance: that can supply calcium to the soil and plants while neutralizing acidic conditions. Very effective in sprays to control or kill many pests. NEEM
Neem™ is produced from the margosa tree, which is an evergreen tropical tree that has insecticidal properties.In the United States the tree only grows in Florida and California. This is one wood termites will not eat. There are about 150 insects that are repelled by the extracts of this tree. It can be purchased under the name Margosan-O™ in most garden shops.
NPV

SABADILLA
Produced from the South American lily it is an organic pesticide dust that has been in use since the sixteenth century. The plant has also been used to lower blood pressure. It does kill a wide range of pests; however, it is toxic to toads and bees.
This is the most toxic pesticide to humans and animals.
It is effective against grasshoppers, codling moth larvae, armyworms, European corn borer, silkworms, aphids, cabbage loopers, melonworm, chinch bugs, webworm, greenhouse leaftier and the harlequin bug.
SILICA AEROGEL
Has the ability to dehydrate the bugs by absorbing moisture from the bug’s outer surface. The particles in the gel have the ability to absorb hundreds of times their weight in moisture.
SULFUR
This is one of the oldest known pesticides: even the Egyptians used it to fumigate their granaries. It should be used when the temperature is over 70
F and under 90
F for the best results. A powder form is now available for dusting plants. It should not be used within 2 months of spraying horticultural oils.
TANGLFOOT
Sticky substance produced from castor oil gum residues and vegetable waxes.
TRICHOGRAMMA
This is a very small insect that lays its eggs inside other insect’s eggs and causing the host egg to die.
