A soft grin tugged at the corner of Nikki's lips as she looked back at Grant who seemed to be digesting her father's words. "I completely understand, Ron, I wouldn't expect anything less."

They had spent several hours at Nikki's parents’ home before claiming they were exhausted and leaving for the hotel. As Nikki leaned against the balcony railing of their hotel room, situated on the sixth floor, which also happened to be the top floor, she let out a sigh of relief. She turned in his arms so she was facing him and pulled out the keys from the box. On the keys dangled a keychain that read 'Lotus.' "I don't understand. Why are you giving me your car keys?"

Grant grinned, "Would you prefer to keep your Neon?"

"Oh-my-God," Nikki squealed throwing herself into his arms and planting random, furious kisses over his face and neck. When the excitement wore down she looked up at him, beaming, "But I thought that car belonged to as business associate?"

"Let's just say I made an arrangement with him for the car."

Nikki wasn't sure if she liked the idea of Grant making arrangements for a car worth over a hundred grand, but she nodded knowing better than to even bother to ask. "Thank you."

"Now about your gift for me," Grant whispered in her ear before dropping to his knees on the balcony. Pushing up the hem of her skirt, he hooked his thumbs in the waistband of her black satin thong and tugged it down over her hips, letting it drop to the floor.
