“Yes. I don’t know if I could be much better than I am right now.”

“Is that so?” Cam cocked his scarred eyebrow up at her.

“That’s not what I mean.” Annie giggled. “Your mother was just so nice to me. She treated me as if I meant something to her. Like I mattered.”

“Of course you matter, babe. And you certainly mean something, especially to me.” Cam kissed the side of her head and nuzzled his nose close to her ear. She could feel him inhale the sweet perfume of her lavender hair conditioner.

Annie turned her head to look at him. “I don’t know what I did to deserve you, Cam, but I feel so lucky to have you in my life.”

“You took the words right out of my mouth, Nashville.” He moved in and his lips captured hers with a kiss filled with hope and desire. Neither could get enough of the other as their hands started to wander but Cam stopped the kiss as things began to heat up a little too much.

“Annie?” he whispered against her lips.

“Hmmm,” she said with her eyes still closed.

“I love you.”

Annie’s eyes flipped open and grew wide with surprise. Her thoughts were flying a million miles an hour as her mind tried to compute what he had said.

“Did you hear me?”

“You said you love me,” was all she could say in barely a whisper.

“I do. More than anything or anyone I have ever loved before,” Cam confessed.

“Oh, Cam.” She cupped her hand on the side of his cheek. “I feel the same. I hadn’t thought it possible but, yes, I love you too.”

The slightly worried look on his face softened into a sweet smile. Annie thought he was going to kiss her again but he grabbed her around her waist and hauled her up and out of the hammock. He twirled her around in circles and let out a shout of delight. They knew the rest of the family was watching them but nothing could ruin this moment for either of them.

The windows had been left open overnight to let the house cool down after being shut up all day. The waves crashing on the shore and the sounds of the seagulls squawking woke Annie up from her peaceful slumber. Cam was flat on his back still asleep next to her, with what looked like a sly smile on his face. The previous night of slow lovemaking was still present in Annie’s thoughts. Cam had been so attentive. He didn’t rush and he made sure both of them were satisfied each round they went.

Just thinking about it was turning Annie on. Never had a lover shown her so much pleasure in one evening. Annie sat up and lifted the sheet back off them. Cam was sporting some impressive morning wood. This garnered a playful smile from her and only further spurred Annie on to take matters into her own hands.
“It was only polite to return the favor.”

Annie kneeled at his side, cupped his balls with her hand, and massaged her thumb over them. Cam shifted slightly, but his dick came to life with a twitch and seemed to get harder than it already was. Smirking at what that little action had done, Annie bent over and rolled her tongue around the head of his erection. Closing her lips over the top, she sucked just a little. Feeling Cam’s hand snake into her hair, she unlatched her lips and turned her head. “Good morning, sugar.”

“It is indeed a very good morning,” he said as his hand encouraged her up his chest so he could kiss her. There was a passionate want and need in that morning kiss from Cam but Annie was in charge.

“Mmm, that’s all you get for now.” Annie teased as she pulled her lips away from his.

“What do you mean, Nashville? You have a mischievous glint in your eye.”

“I thought it would be nice to show you a little appreciation for all you did for me last night.” Annie gave him a wink and looked back to where she was working.

“No way. No more of that, Nashville. I won’t last long with you looking so fucking hot this morning. Waking up and seeing your head over my crotch was almost enough for me to blow my load then.”

“Fine.” Sitting up and moving from the bed, she reached over to the drawer next to his bed. The condoms were waiting and she took one and ripped open the foil packet. Facing back, she knelt on the bed and rolled the rubber onto his erection.

Cam was most amused while watching her do this. As much as he loved being in control, sometimes there was nothing better than seeing a woman take charge.

Placing her knees either side of his hips, Annie looked down on the fine man spread out beneath her and whistled. “I’m one lucky lady and you’re about to be one very lucky guy.”

She took hold of his hardened cock and lowered herself slowly onto it. It really was an incredible feeling having Cam inside her and she knew he was having the same experience when she saw his eyes roll back in his head and close
.

“Bloody Hell, you’re gonna kill me, woman,” he hissed from behind his tightly clenched teeth.

Annie gave no reply but a sweet smile as she sat atop him. Cam opened his eyes and watched as she leaned down and planted kisses across his chest. She reached his left nipple and pulled on the nub with her teeth, releasing a guttural growl from deep in Cam’s throat. They locked eyes as Annie straightened her back. She began to grind her pelvis against him and work herself into a slow rhythm. Cam’s eyes narrowed and he raised his chin as he moaned. “Mmm, Nashville.” He placed a hand either side of her and squeezed his fingers into her hips.

“Harder!” he snarled. A smile spread across Annie's face and she did as he asked. “Fuuuuck!” Cam loved every moment of her being on top. Annie's confidence was growing with each push of her hips. Leaning forward, she placed her hands on the bed head and lowered her breasts. Cam growled, captured her left breast in his mouth, and sucked it hard. His tongue gently circled around her sensitive nipple before he closed his teeth and dragged them over it causing Annie to yelp. Cam chuckled which pissed Annie off. She grabbed his hands off her hips, threw them up above his head, and held them there.

“You laughed at me.”

A cheeky smile spread across his face. “You looked bloody cute when you jumped.”

“Really?” Annie lifted up slightly, still holding his hands behind his head, and then slammed down on his rock hard shaft.

“Ugh! Fucking hell.” His eyes rolled back and his lids closed tight. A smug Annie was proud she had made Cam groan with an intense desire for more.

She was about to repeat the move when he looked at her and said, “That’s enough.” He sat up and grabbed Annie's wrists. He was a lot stronger than she was and his hands engulfed hers. Annie was stunned, lost for words, thinking Cam had had enough and was over it.

Without breaking their intimate connection, Cam rolled Annie onto her back and stared long and hard into her eyes.

“I’m sorry, Nashville. I can’t have you do that.”

“I…I just…” words failed Annie.

“It’s just not fair I get all the pleasure.” Still holding her wrists, he lowered his lips to her collarbone, kissed his way up her neck and whispered in her ear, “Let’s do this…together.” He bit lightly on her earlobe and dragged it between his teeth as she moaned at his words.

Cam wasn’t going to take his time though. This was going to happen. Hard…fast…and to everyone’s satisfaction.

As Cam slowly drew out of her, just a little, Annie sighed grumpily at the emptiness she felt. Having Cam between her legs, buried deep inside, was one of the most intimate and thrilling experiences ever. The emptiness didn’t last long as Cam thrust his hips forward and drove his cock into her soaked core.

“Oh, Cam! Yes!” Annie cried out. She wanted to put her arms around him but he still firmly held her hands in his. Wrapping her legs around him was the next best thing. She needed to be as close to him as possible.

They found their fast-paced rhythm together; and after a few more powerful strokes, Annie’s core tightened around Cam’s pulsing shaft and she exploded like a firecracker. Her screams and moans were all Cam needed to fuel his own fireworks. With a final thrust, he grunted his release as he came fiercely moments after.

Spent from the exhausting session and still locked deep inside Annie, Cam dropped to his elbows and stared into her brown eyes. He had memorized every curve of her body, but what he truly loved was staring into her brown eyes. They were the color of smooth chocolate, highlighted with golden flecks shooting from the center. Cam was hypnotized as he looked at his Nashville Angel. The American beauty he saved on that fateful afternoon, just a few short weeks ago.

Annie lay there, catching her breath. The look on Cam’s face was one of serious wonder or contemplation. She broke one hand free from Cam’s grasp and smoothed back the loose strands of hair that had fallen over his forehead. She stroked her fingers through his hair and he closed his eyes, basking in the pleasure he felt from her touch.

“What’s going on up there? You’re thinking about something.”

His eyes opened and his face broke into a sweet smile. “I love you.”

Annie knew her mouth had dropped open and quickly bit her lip, trying to keep the tears at bay and her emotions under control, but it was pointless. Tears sprung up and a lone one silently escaped down her cheek. She could feel her breathing start to quicken again and knew it wasn’t nerves. These butterflies were warmth and hopeful feelings as she realized Cam truly loved her. He hadn’t been pretending or saying it for the hell of it. The words came from the bottom of his heart.

“It’s true. I fucking love you. More than anything in this world. It seems so unreal. I mean we’ve only known each other a few weeks, but shit…Nashville, I just…no I need you to know how much you mean—” Annie silenced Cam’s rambling when she placed her finger over his lips and smiled at him. Her expression had softened into one of calm from the anxious look it had when he first declared his love.

“I love you, too.” Her smile shining the thousand watts it possessed in his direction.

Cam let out a huge sigh of relief. “Thank fuck for that.” He crushed his lips onto hers. His tongue wrestled against Annie’s as he tried to get his body even closer than it already was. He wanted to consume her and the unconditional love she was offering him. He unlocked his lips and looked at her, his eyes welling with emotion. “And just so we’re clear. YOU. ARE. MINE.”

“You better believe it, mister.”

Annie’s new favorite spot to sit and watch the world pass her by was from the comfort of the daybed on the deck. Tonight was their last night in Kings Cove before heading back to Sydney and Cam had invited his family to dinner. He was insistent he would make the meal and refused any help from Annie. He only relented when she offered to make apple pie, one of his sweet weaknesses. Taking the down time to sit out on the deck in the afternoon sun, Annie contemplated what direction her life was taking. She wasn’t making any hasty plans and was willing to see where life with Cam would lead.

“Right, everything is set,” Cam said as he walked out, sat down next to Annie, and gathered her in a bear hug. He kissed the top of her head and looked out to where she was looking at the ocean.

“What are you thinking, Nashville?”

“If I tell you, I may scare you.”

“Then again, you may be surprised. It could be the same thing I’m thinking.”

“You really want to know?” she asked, her focus still out on the water below, the calm evening waves lapping at the shore. She could feel his head nodding against hers. “I was thinking this is the happiest I’ve ever been and I’m almost scared to leave here and have the outside world crash into our tiny bubble and pop it.”

Cam shifted so he was sitting in front of her. His face was lit up with a smile and those bright blue eyes radiated happiness. Taking her soft, delicate hands in his, Cam said, “I’m so glad you feel that way. When we get back to Sydney, I want to arrange for you to move here…to Australia…permanently. Please tell me that you want to, Nashville? There is no way in Hell I’m losing the best thing that has happened to me in a long time.”

This. This was what she had never known. Someone who truly valued her and wanted her to be a part of their life. She was so thankful.

Annie giggled at his comment. He loved hearing that happy giggle from her sweet lips. “I do want to. You couldn’t lose me if you tried,” she said with a wink and a smile.
