His breathing quickly escalates, “I wanna show you something amazing. Are you up for trying it from the back?”

I whisper, “I’ll try, but I’ve never done it like that.”

He nudges my neck with his chin. “It’s okay honey. Let’s just try. If it hurts too bad, I’ll stop.”

I hear a squirting sound, as I turn around to see him rubbing himself, and his breath hitches. He whispers in a low voice, reassuring me. “It’s just a little lubricant. I’m gonna get you prepared.” He rubs some of the liquid on my backside, then slowly inserts one finger, gently gauging my reaction, as I moan. “You okay?” He breathes out.

I nod, as he adds yet another finger. My body is stimulated, as my hips rock accepting them. He breathes in and exhales, while gently stretching me. “God Liv, I want you to experience something that’s so…Uhh!” I feel the beginnings of a penetration, but I’m much too aroused to resist.

He moves into me, as he groans, “Liv...I want to…”

All I can do is moan and roll my hips to accept him. “Umm.”

He lowers me onto the bed and whispers in my ear. “It’s gonna hurt baby. I’m not gonna lie to you.”

I’m actually turned on, just hearing his voice saying the words. My body’s ready and willing to try this, but still I’m scared to death. I’ve never in my life considered doing this, but I’m curious and I’m ready to give myself to him, as I nod my head.

He moans into my ear, “Okay Sunshine?”

I breathe out as I plead, “Just be patient with me.”

He grunts through his teeth, as he slowly enters me, “Oh, baby patience is my virtue. If you’re uncomfortable, or if it hurts too badly, tell me and I’ll stop.” He passionately kisses the back of my neck, while blowing softly, which brings chills over my entire body. He’s rubbing himself into me, gentle and slow, as he inches in, moving his hips. My body reacts with pleasure to his deeper penetration.

I drop my head, “Aww!” I cry out. Dear God this hurts so damn bad, but it hurts so good. Can I really do this?

He gasps, holding my hips tightly, he says, “Push out baby. As I go farther in, push out.”

I breathe out through my mouth and wince, as he withdraws kissing my neck and whispers in my ear, breathing heavy, “Need me to stop, Sunshine?”

I whimper, “Don’t stop.” It hurts badly and part of me wants to give up, but I know he really wants this, so I’m going to do it. He kisses me again and runs his tongue around my ear.

He lightly pulls my hips into him. “Push back against me. You’re in control baby. You drive.” He moves carefully, tenderly and slowly, ever so considerate of my feelings and lack of experience. It takes me a while to adjust, but he’s a master at seeing that I’m at ease. Shit this hurts. He’s got my breasts in his hands, kneading them softly. Suddenly, my whole body is on fire, as I rock back taking more of him into me slowly, as he instructs. More and more, little bits of him at a time. I’m pushing out like he said to and the feeling is so erotic. He breathes into my ear and his warm breath excites me. “I don’t want to hurt you, Liv. It feels so damn good to me.” Panting, he asks me, “What’s it like for you? Talk to me baby. Tell me.”

Slowly he eases out. He rubs my behind and begins to kiss my neck again. “Ahhhh Liv, talk to me. Tell me.”

I’m not comfortable talking, but he encourages me. I moan and roll my head back, “It hurts, but it feels so good.”

He nips my ear and seductively hums, “So you’re okay?”

“Yes I’m fine. You’re amazing.” I gasp and breathe out.

He places my hand over my spot and rubs with me. I’m on the brink of climax and I can’t stop.

“Gaww!” I scream out as my orgasm peaks. He continues to stimulate me, along with my own hand, as the release begins.

He pants, while rubbing against me, “Let it go honey. I’m almost there. I’m not gonna last much longer.”

He thrusts into me and my body writhes in ecstasy. I shake uncontrollably, as he calls out my name, reaching his own orgasm. I collapse limp onto the bed, while he’s still on top of me, both of us breathing heavily and he softly strokes my arms. “Oh God Liv, that was incredible. Did you like it?”

I laugh through my labored breathing. “I did it, didn’t I?”

He kisses my ear and with his tongue, makes his way down my neck, “Yeah honey you sure did. I love you.”

My backside is throbbing, as he turns me over. He sits up with his back against the headboard, spreads his legs and places me in between them, wraps his arms around me and starts rocking me slowly. Soft music is playing, as he nudges my neck up with his nose. He whispers, “Hey you, how ya doing? You okay?”

I smile and bite my lip. “Umm yeah. I can’t believe I just did that.”

He kisses the top of my head. “Well, you did just do that. It felt so damn good baby.” He releases his hold and climbs out of bed. “We need to get you a nice hot bath to soak in. I’d venture to guess that little bottom of yours is pretty sore about now, huh?”

I sheepishly grin, as I nod in agreement.

“I’ll be right back.”

When my bath is ready, he comes to the bed, scoops me up into his arms, and places me in the warm water. Kneeling outside the tub, he grabs a washcloth and washes me gently, squeezing the soapy onto my body. It feels heavenly.

He brushes the hair back from my face and gazes into my eyes. “Do you even have half a clue how much pleasure you give me, Liv? I mean seriously, do you?” I look at him and smile.

He kisses the tip of my nose and traces my lips with his finger, “You’re the sexiest woman I’ve ever in my life been with, and I’m the luckiest man in the world to have you.”

I giggle and blow him a kiss. After he’s washed me, he climbs in the tub and pulls me back into him. My bottom is sore, but having him here with me makes the pain bearable. After our bath, he dries me with a soft towel, helps me into my gown, gives me some ibuprofen, and carries me to bed. He pulls me into him, cuddling me gently, and with a concerned look in his eyes says, “My little sex goddess needs some well-deserved sleep. Not too sore are you Sunshine?”

I snuggle up closer to him and lace my fingers with his. “Umm not anymore. I’m fine.” I feel so confident and secure in his arms.

He laughs and whispers in my ear, “Yes Liv, you ARE fine. Love you.”

He turns off the lights and rocks me gently, as we fall asleep in each other’s arms.

Morning comes all too soon and today is intervention day with Brian. Ash is dressed and ready to go meet the guys, as he lightly shakes my shoulder to wake me, then kisses my cheek. His beautiful eyes meet mine. “Mornin Sunshine. I’ve ordered coffee. You should probably get up and dressed, because Emily and Kyra will be here soon with Rowdy.”

He carefully pulls me to sit up in bed, as he sits next to me. “I’d like you all to stay in the room, or go downstairs and wait for my call, because this may take a while, but I’ll let you know how things are going.” As he walks out the door, he shakes his head and sighs. “This isn’t gonna to be easy by any means. Having the support of the guys is paramount, so keep your fingers crossed.” He gives a thumbs up, “We’re gonna get through this.”

Before long, there’s a knock at the door. Emily, Kyra, and Rowdy walk in, as Emily begins the introduction, “Olivia, this is Rowdy Joubert. Rowdy, this is Olivia. She’s Tommy’s mom.” Then she smiles, “And my mother in law.”

I have to laugh to myself, realizing I love the sound of that. I hadn’t thought of it until now and I smile. “Rowdy, it’s so nice to meet you. I wish it were under better circumstances, but we’re glad you’re here.”

I extend my hand, only to receive a nice firm handshake, which is reassuring. “It’s nice to meet you Olivia. Bert filled me in on what’s going on with Bri, and I’m gonna do whatever I can to make this transition easy.” He pops his knuckles and smiles. “It’s only temporary.”

He’s a good looking guy with the most incredible smile. He’s wearing a green Pat O’Brien’s t-shirt, tight jeans, flip flops, and a Texas Rangers baseball cap. It’s evident that he works out, because his arms are very muscular. Like the rest of the guys, he’s covered in tattoos and his tongue is pierced. Feeling right at home, he walks over to the coffee pot. “Ya mind?” He asks, with raised eyebrows.

I ask how he came to know the band, as he sits on the couch with his feet on the coffee table, looking at ease. He laughs, as he squints his eyes and scratches his brow, “Brian and I both auditioned for Avenue when they needed a drummer and needless to say, Bri won the toss.” He shrugs his shoulders and pops his knuckles again, “But that’s cool. We’ve all kept in touch, and I actually played with the guys when they came to New Orleans last year.”

Kyra tips her head at his left hand and smiles. “So, you’re married?” She curiously asks.

He turns his wedding band back and forth on his finger and smiles. “Yep. Got a beautiful wife and two little girls.” As if he senses a question coming, he continues, “Wifey’s a social worker and the little curtain climbers are four and seven.” He takes his phone from his pocket and proudly shows us pictures of them.

I ask how he met Brian and how his wife felt about him packing up and leaving at a minute’s notice. He stands up and stretches, tilting his neck from side to side, popping it loudly. “Victoria and I have been friends with Brian since we were all kids, so it was pretty much a no brainer. Bert called, sent me a ticket, so here I am.”

I spew my coffee and crack up laughing.

He looks at me like I’m crazy. “What? Did I say something funny?”

I grab a napkin and dab at my mouth and hands, “I’m laughing because you keep calling him Bert. The first night I met him, that’s how they introduced him.” I roll my eyes and drop my head back. “Tommy and Ash gave me the background on the name and well... we call him Todd, Rowdy. He’s dropped the Bert.”

He pats my back and is laughing so hard, his shoulders are shaking. “Oh geez, that’s too damn funny.” Pointing his finger, he winks, “Okay so I’ll start calling him Todd. Gonna have to get used to it, though.”

We all laugh, which takes the edge off. Ash calls and when I ask how things are going, his voice sounds strained. “Liv, this isn’t easy. Brian knows he needs help, but right now he’s angry and he’s not buying the rehab idea.” He sounds exasperated, as he breathes into the phone. “Send Rowdy down, would you please? We want to see if maybe he can get through to Brian.”

After what seems like hours, we all jump as Kyra’s phone rings. She tells us that it’s Todd. With a relieved look on her face, she puts her hand on her chest and gives a thumbs up. Once they end their call, we’re all anxious to hear any news. She folds her hands to her lips, “Brian’s agreed to rehab.” She and Emily hug, as Kyra continues. “Mr. H has a friend flying in, who owns a facility in Utah, so it looks like that’s where he’ll be going.” She slips her sandals on and takes a deep breath, as she motions to us, “Todd wants us all to come to the room.”

My heart is racing, as we all hug, tears filling our eyes and leave for Brian’s room.

As the elevator doors open for us, Emily puts her arms through ours, “Remember, strength in numbers.” She reminds us.

Kyra knocks softly on the door to Brian’s room. Ash answers, his face looking somber. His brow is furrowed, as he rubs his forehead, looking apprehensive about letting us in. Looking at each of us, he speaks with a deliberate and serious tone. “This is not a pretty sight ladies - he’s in pretty bad shape.” He slowly leads us into the bedroom. I’m overcome with sadness when I see Brian, and I cover my eyes with my hand to hide the tears. Brian’s crouched in a fetal position on his bed, rocking back and forth, writhing in pain. His hair is disheveled and he’s sweating profusely, while his teeth are chattering, as if he’s cold.

Emily puts her hand over her mouth to quiet her gasp, as she turns away. Ash takes her into his arms to comfort her, as she weeps. Tommy and Todd are sitting on each side of Brian and the painful look on their faces is gut wrenching.

Todd carefully puts his arm through Brian’s and compassionately encourages him, “Come on buddy, let’s sit up. You’ve got company.” With the help of Tommy, they prop Brian up against the headboard and Todd covers him with a blanket.

With a look of empathy, Rowdy takes his baseball cap off and puts it on Brian’s head. “Here ya go Bri. You got a pretty bad hair day goin on there dude.” He adjusts the hat and rubs the back of Brian’s neck. Brian nods, blankly staring at us with no emotion.

The room reeks of alcohol and I look around to see empty beer cans and bottles of alcohol on almost every table in the room. Dirty clothes are strewn all over the floor, as Kyra and I step over them, trying to find a spot to sit. Instinctively, I walk around the room and start picking up clothes and beer cans. Cleaning seems to take my mind off this disturbing scene. I heap the clothes into a pile on the bathroom floor, and deposit the empty cans in the trash can. I lean up against the door frame and lose it. Brady walks in and turns his head to the side, smiling in a sad way. “I just wish we would have known and could have helped him before it got to this.” We hug and walk back into the bedroom. Ash starts off the conversation, “Brian we all wanted to let you know that we care about you.” Trembling and scared, Brian nods his head. His face is shallow with a look of defeat. Todd adjusts the covers and tearfully looks him in the eye, “Bri, man I love you so fucking much.” He pauses, as his voice starts to crack. “We need you man. We need you fucking healthy.” He wipes his nose with the back of his hand, “Avenue won’t be the same until you’re back with us. Please get back to the place you need to be. I…WE fuckin need you.” He drops his head and puts his face in his hands, sobbing. “I’m sorry about last night. I was only tryin to help you man…”
