Chapter 5
Kristy looked over at the man standing over her. Maggie was still on the dance floor with some guy grinding up on her. He was not the type of guy that she was used to at Richie’s. He was big and burly with the same sort of biker jacket the man from the day before had been wearing. Her eyes went to the emblem on the right side of the leather. She couldn’t help but notice how big his arms were and the way they rippled as he moved to hand her the shot glass.
“Thanks, but I don’t drink that kind of thing.”
“You should drink this.”
“No really, I am good.”
“It will be easier to take me later.”
“Take you?”
“I have been told that I can get quite rough when I am turned on and the way you are looking...”
She just looked at him like he was crazy. Kristy was ignoring the twitch in her nether regions with his words. “Does that actually work for you?”
Sitting down next to her, he smiled back. “Usually.”
“Well that is kind of threatening for one thing.” Kristy took the shot from him and drank it. She didn’t like whiskey, but drank it anyways. “And you could have at least brought something that I liked.” Holding up her glass to show the clear liquid inside. “Vodka.”
Zed just smiled at her smart mouth and his idea of her being all prim and proper was being disillusioned. She didn’t seem more apt to go on her knees in front of him, but at least she didn’t look scared. Zed still remembered the last time it had happened and the way she had reacted.
He found himself apologizing. It was not going how it had in his head. “Was that all you got?”
It was a challenge and there was one thing that he liked, it was a challenge. Leaning in towards her, he took her and pulled her in for a kiss. She was a little reluctant at first, but quickly adapted to the sudden touch and the man giving it. Whimpering against him, he finally pulled away and looked at her closed eyes. They were brighter green when she opened them.
“Is that better?”
Touching her lips, Kristy nodded. It was a lot better and she felt like melting a little in her seat. The kiss was familiar, but so intense that she was forgetting where. It reminded her of the taken kiss from before and like that kiss, her heart was slamming in her chest. The man’s eyes were a deep blue and there was something familiar in them as well.
“Why don’t we get out of here?”
She was about to agree and let him take her anywhere that he wanted, but her friend came back to the table and gave them both a look. Sitting down next to her friend, Kristy leaned back away from the man and looked down for a minute. It reminded her that she didn’t even know the man and she had just made out with him in front of everyone. She didn’t really care, but the look on Maggie’s face told her that she was a bit out of line for doing it.
“So who is your new friend Kristy?”
Even worse than kissing him out in the open, she didn’t even know his name and the question made her blush. Zed took over and introduced himself, shaking the girl’s hand and really turning up the charm. Maggie was almost ready to go with him as well, but Zed had his eyes on only Kristy since he had seen her for the first time.
“Why have I not heard about you?” Maggie was assuming that they were dating with the public intimacy and once again Kristy was drawing a blank.
“We just met, but she is the one. I am trying to get her to run away with me, though she is reluctant.”
Maggie took in the hard arms and tattooed muscles. She would go anywhere that he wanted and vocalized that she would do just that before she realized it. It left Maggie a little red-faced and Kristy was shocked.
“Well don’t mind Maggie. She has apparently lost her mind.”
It proved his point that his lines worked. Kristy tried to imagine what her response would have been and by the way she was still looking at him, it was clear that Maggie would have already been gone.
“If you won’t leave with me Kristy, at least give me a dance.”
She agreed and got up with him, but as soon as he pulled her up against him on the dance floor, it was clear that she had made a mistake. A man like Zed was impossible to deny. He was so hard against her and held her like he knew exactly what to do with her. “Your friend was nice.”
“I bet that is what most girls do.”
“It’s what you will do if I can get a few minutes alone with you.”
“You seem pretty sure of yourself.”
“I have reason.” His fingers played in the back of her hair and then delved in for a tighter grip as he moved in for a kiss. Zed had decided that it didn’t matter if there were people there or not. He was going to get what he wanted, one way or another. Hearing the moan of submission, his free hand on her hips held her still as he ground up against her.
Kristy was trying to contain herself. It was clear to her that he had no qualms in taking her right then and there. “Why don’t we get out of here Kristy?”
She nodded her head and then took the hand that moved to hers. She looked back at Maggie, not having to say anything. Maggie was ready to the exact same thing and the only thing she saw on her face was the bit of jealousy. What was it about bad boys that made a woman go a little mad?
Chapter 6
His hands were on her thigh on the way to his home, the fingers drawing invisible patterns on her leg. He had started innocently from her knee, but soon was moving high up her body, making her tense up even more than before. By the time he pulled in front of a small, two-story house, she was panting next to him. Kristy didn’t even realize they had stopped until he finally moved his hand away.
Finally she felt the lack of movement and opened her eyes. Zed was looking at her and there was a moment of realization that went through her. Her mind didn’t work when he was touching her. She was there though, in front of his house and he was looking at her as if she were to be his last meal. Kristy looked over at the house and it was about as nerve-racking as he was.
Zed saw the fear and moved to kiss her. It was what had worked before and she was soon leaning in towards him, her lips and tongue moving with his. She was becoming softer against him and when he thought that the look was out of her eyes, he opened her door and then got out himself. She still didn’t know who he was, which surprised him, but he knew that his touch had a hand in it.
When they got inside, she didn’t have time to look around before he was kissing her, pushing her back into the house and towards the bedroom. Finally when he was aggravated at the rate she was moving, he picked her up and walked her into the back bedroom, tossing her down on the bed. Kristy squealed with the feeling of air that she got from him throwing her. He tossed her on the bed as if she weighed nothing, her body bouncing as she finally settled in.
Zed was quick to pull off his own clothes. He wanted to feel his skin against hers and there was nothing going to stop him from that touch.
Kristy watched his vest and then shirt come off. There were slight black hairs on his chest, matching the dark short hair on his head. Zed’s chest was covered in tattoos and she wondered how long and how much pain it had taken to get them done. He was just huge all over and when he pulled his pants off, the rest of him was straining to be free. Her body went back on the bed, but Zed didn’t let her go far before he was yanking on her ankle to pull him back to her.
“Where are you going?” She didn’t have time to answer him before his body was on top of hers. His hands were tugging her shirt up as his mouth licked and sucked the bared flesh. Her eyes were closing to the pleasure and then the sounds of her moans filled the air as he freed one of her breasts, suckling on the tip. Each suck from his lips ran pleasure down to her core, making her hips rise up. She wanted more than anything to feel him against her, but Zed was holding back. He wanted to get her ready before he lost all control. What he had told her in the bar was not a line, but the truth.
As his lips moved back into a downward trajectory, Kristy’s hips became more inclined to rise from the bed. He undid the zipper on the side of her skirt, slowly dragging it down, loving the way it sounded, paired with her whining below him. She didn’t know what she wanted, but there was a silent urgency for him to give her what she needed. “Please Zed.”
Her pleas turned to screams when he had pulled her skirt down and then her legs wide. Zed wasted no time nibbling on her core through the underwear. All she was able to do was whimper and moan as he held her in place, so she couldn’t get away. Eventually, she couldn’t hold back anymore and she was screaming out his name as she came in his mouth.
Zed just sucked on her nub harder, his tongue dipping into her taste as she squirmed and tried to get free. He was pushing it and just when she thought she couldn’t take anymore, he let her up and moved back to his knees. The woman’s full breasts swayed as she sat up and backed away from him. Kristy had never come so hard in her life and when she went to her knees to crawl away, he just pulled her back with a chuckle.
Instead of pushing her back on her back though, Zed kept her on her knees, pushing her face into the mattress. The act pushed her ass up towards him and he slapped it hard as she cried out. She wasn’t expecting it and tried to move forward, but a hand on each side of her hips kept her in place. Kristy felt his hot head on her core and jerked back.
Closing her eyes, she tightened up her core, but it didn’t keep him out. Zed pushed in slowly with gritted teeth. She was hot and suffocating, lovingly taking in every inch of him before he finally stopped pushing. His hand went underneath her, playing with the heavy breasts that hung down and went right into his hands. Pulling and twisting on the nipple, she cried out as her insides clenched him hard and fast. “Are you ready?”
She didn’t know what he meant. He was already inside of her. As he pulled back and slammed back in, pushing her face deeper into the mattress, she understood. Not answering him, it didn’t seem that he needed an answer at all. All he needed was the wetness seeping in around his shaft to spur him on.
Zed moved faster, pushing deep and slapping her reddened ass every so often. Kristy was muffled into the mattress and when he felt her clenching up as if she was about to come again, he grabbed a handful of her hair and pulled back hard as he worked himself in and out of her tight hole. The sound exploded into the air as she came and moaned, his name coming off of his lips over and over again. “Yes Zed, harder, harder.”
He did as she asked, slamming into her. Her body jerked forward with each thrust, her legs moving her lower to the bed. Twice he had to pull her ass back up to him as he pounded into her. Kristy went to her hands and pushed back as she came again. Zed gave her a second to recuperate before he started moving back inside of her.
His own need was fast approaching, only being held back by his need to hear her come just one more time. She was pushed over the edge easily with a finger strumming on her quim and she gave him exactly what his heart and head needed to hear. “Zed! I’m coming! Oh God!”
Unable to hold back any longer, Zed pushed in deep and filled her full of his hot seed. He pulled out and her body crumpled to the bed below him. Several moments she laid there unmoving, finally rolling back over onto her back so she could breathe. “Fuck.”
“You certainly have a potty mouth for someone so proper.”
She waved him off, though her mind made a note of him calling her proper. Where had she heard that before? “Who said anything about me being proper?”
He just shrugged, nuzzling her neck. “I don’t know. You just seem the type, though in bed you are a minx.”
His words made her blush. She usually wasn’t so loud, so demanding, but she had never been so overwhelmed with everything. Kristy had been filled with the feeling of wanting more and was unable to hold it back. Zed pulled her to him and she lay in his arms, trying to get her heart back down to a normal beat. She didn’t remember going to sleep, but Kristy was exhausted. She had gotten just what she needed and was content for once.
Zed had his own feelings of contentment and as he watched her sleep, he started to realize that once wasn’t going to be enough. Having her once was not going to be near enough. He had to have her forever, though everything that had happened in the last week made it hard for that to happen. He knew it would though, convinced that she had come into his life for a reason. Zed really wanted to believe that, but at the same time, he also knew that there would be some bumps ahead for them.
Chapter 7
“Good morning.”
She looked over at the man next to her and covered her face. The night before was rushing back to her in a flash and she was left blushing profusely. “Good morning.”
Zed looked good and relaxed. He looked like he had been watching her, a wry grin on his face. She didn’t want to face him, but he moved her red hair out of her face and kissed her hot lips. Quickly she was moaning underneath him, his body taking hers over. Kristy had to stop him before she lost her mind again, his hands already making her forget why it wasn’t a good idea. A man like that would break her heart and leave it shattered in pieces, but when he touched her… she never wanted him to stop.
Her cell phone ringing in her pocket on the floor gave her the courage and excuse to push him away. “I got to get that.”
She didn’t know why she had to get it, but it was better than saying that she had to get his hands off of her before she went insane. Kristy giggled when he tried to take the covers off of her, but her grip was good. “Stop, I have to get the phone.”
Kristy answered it and when she heard his boss’ voice, she remembered that she was supposed to be at work. “Are you coming in today Kristy?”
“Yes, sorry Sir. I will be in, in a few minutes. I don’t know what I was thinking.”
He made a disparaging remark and told her that she needed to hurry. “Maggie can only cover for you for so long Kristy.”
“Yes Sir.”
She hung up and sighed over at the tattooed man beckoning her back to bed. “You aren’t leaving are you?”
“I have to go to work. Something happened there last week and I need to get back to reality, but thanks for helping me forget everything.” Kristy wanted to move forward and give him a kiss, yet she knew that it would be too hard to stop at just a kiss. He had been instrumental in helping her feel better about it all. A nice romp in the bed with a man that she would never be able to have full time was just what she needed. She had needed that release more than anything and she was starting to feel like herself again.
“I want to see you again.” Kristy stopped and looked back at the man in the bed. It was not what she had expected. He was one of those guys that a woman had once. He was like chocolate, a guilty secret that women weren’t supposed to want, but did. It was day time though and the reality was that they were from two very different worlds.
“I don’t think that would be a good idea Zed, but thanks for the great time. I don’t think I will be able to walk right for a couple of days.”
He grinned at her for a moment, but then started to get up and put his pants on. “Well at least let me take you to the bar to get your car.”
“No need Zed. I rode to the bar with my friend Maggie and I don’t think it would look good for me to come in late riding on the back of a motorcycle.” She didn’t want to say straight out that she didn’t want to be seen with him, but her propriety was already on the down slide. The cops were watching her, treating her like she was a suspect and the last thing she needed was them seeing her with a member of a motorcycle gang.
“You don’t want to be seen with me?” Zed was feeling some sort of déjà vu. He had done it to many women in the past, but he had never had the brush off done to him. As he sat on the edge of the bed, watching her hop into her heels, he had a strange feeling come over him.
Kristy was at a loss for words. “No, I mean, though look at you. You would give my boss a heart attack. I didn’t think a guy like you would to see me again. I know that I was just a fling to you and it was fun. But really, what more can we be?”
***
After Kristy left, Zed kind of sat on the bed stunned. There was nothing that he could have said to have make her stay or to her reasons of why she didn’t want to see him again. It was harsh and he wondered then if that was how the women felt that he had just left to the side. Why was Kristy so different? Why didn’t she want him?
It messed with the man’s ego and though he was supposed to be getting her out of his mind, it was all he could think about. He couldn’t understand what it was that he had done to offend her so. It was the first time that Zed had questioned his decisions that got him where he was. He had always loved his life and the ease of it. He should have been on top of the world. He had enough money to not have to worry about it again for a very long time. His life was wide open ahead of him, but all he could think about was the woman that wouldn’t have him. One taste of Kristy was just not going to be enough.
Sammy called him a little later. He was anxious to get down to Florida with the rest of the gang. He wanted to come by and Zed knew that he was going to try to talk him out of staying in the city any longer. The robbery had been on the front page of the paper for days, still over a week later. The amount was skewed and almost twice as much as what they had gotten, but there was nothing he could do. It wasn’t like he was going to go to them and tell them that they had it wrong, him and his guys hadn’t gotten that much.
Zed got dressed while he was waiting for Sammy. He could still smell her in the room and in his sheets. Lying back down for a moment, he was looking up at the ceiling when he heard Sammy at the door. “Come in!” He hollered out through the house.
The door opened and then he heard his name called out. Not Zed, but his full name in a voice that he didn’t recognize. By the time that he got up and was walking towards the door to see who it was, they had identified themselves.
He looked back at the police he had just invited into his house and groaned. It was bad enough that they were there, but there were there and looking around. Zed hoped that he didn’t have anything out that would incriminate him, but he refused to look paranoid. “Hey, sorry I thought you were someone else. What can I do for you?”
“Are you Zed McClennon?”
He nodded that he was. There was no way that he wanted to be Zed all of a sudden, but they were there, more than likely had a picture of him on their computers, so there was really no point in lying. While his eyes didn’t dart around, his mind was whirling with what to do and the possibilities of how much they knew. They had to be there for the robbery and Zed hoped that Sammy saw the cars and kept going all the way down to Florida.
“Yes officer. What can I do for you?”
“Well we have a few questions about someone that we are interested in.”
He was surprised. It was not usual to have them there for anyone else but him. “Who may that be?”
“Kristy Dade.”
That was a shock and he was sure that it showed before he straightened his face up. What in the world was the cop asking about Kristy for?
“Yeah, I know her. What about her?”
“We have reason to believe that she was involved in a robbery nine days ago. It has been all over the papers. Maybe you have seen something about it?”
Zed just shook his head. “No, I don’t really read papers, all of that negativity and all.”
The cop looked at him incredulous. The one that talked next was a short woman with hair that ended abruptly at her chin. The dark hair clashed with her dark eyes. She had the eyes of a shrew and she practically snorted at his answer. “You really expect us to believe that?”
He shrugged. “I can’t help what you believe. You asked a question and I answered it.”
She didn’t like that he had stayed calm. After looking at his priors, they had been expecting something more than the huge, yet cordial man in front of them. The smile on his face though, did not reach his eyes and Officer McKey could see the smoldering anger that was hard to hide.
“Where were you?”
“When?”
“On February 18
th
.”
“What time?”
“Around 8:30 to 9:00 o’ clock in the morning.”
“I was at work.”
“Where do you work at?” She said it as though she didn’t believe that he would have a job at all.
He gave her the name of one of the gang’s family members that owned a 24 hour carwash. It was the go-to alibi for the Satan’s Angels and he knew that Raul would say that he had been there for a month if he had to. The severe woman wrote the name and address down that he gave her and wanted to say more, but the older man next to her stopped her.
“We appreciate you giving us the information that you have on her. Do you know of any accomplices that she has that could be linked to such a crime?”
Zed just shook his head. There was no way that it was happening he told himself. No way that they could actually think that it was Kristy or that she had anything to do with that. “No, I don’t think you have the right girl. Have you even met her?”
The woman shook her head. “No, but it seems clear now that you are bias.”
He wasn’t going to argue with her. He was rightfully bias. After the night he had had with her and then even with the early morning let down, he was still team Kristy. “She would never do something like that. I didn’t know anything about that.” There was also the fact that he had done the deed, not her. He knew that she was innocent.
“She didn’t tell you?”
“No, we haven’t known each other long.” Zed wondered how they knew he had seen her at all.
“You two were seen leaving the bar and coming here. She stayed the night.”
He shrugged again. “Like I said, we hadn’t known each other long. I wasn’t really looking for a wife.” Zed smiled at the woman suggestively and she looked away in a huff. Zed had to keep them off of thinking it was Kristy. He had not seen that coming and he didn’t like to be taken off guard.
“Is there anything else you can tell us that you think could be useful?”
“No. I don’t think there is anything else I can add. She is not that type of person. I don’t know why you would think that of her.”
“You just said yourself that you didn’t know her that well.”
“I said I hadn’t known her long. I didn’t say anything about my familiarity.”
He made the woman blush and she finally looked away. She had been trying to stare him down and did a pretty good job for a while.
“Was there anything else that you needed Officers?”
“No that will do it. Once again, thanks for the cooperation.”
Zed watched them leave and felt a dread in his stomach. He needed to get out of there. The police were too close, but he worried about Kristy. She had been dragged into his mess and he felt responsible for it all. He left his house and tried not to feel the paranoia that he was being watched. Sammy had been right and wrong. Zed had gotten the girl, but the man had been right about the consequences. There always seemed to be consequences to his actions. He just hated the fact that it had affected her more than anything. He made his way to Sammy’s house. It was time for him to make his way to Florida.
