“How about we make Mama breakfast? Do you know how to make your special pancakes?”

Chapter 15

Letty

I wake up to an empty bed but deliciously sore. Ryder’s side of the bed is cold, which means he has been gone awhile. My heart sinks, I thought he was for real I thought he meant the words he spoke to me yesterday.  I look at the clock, which reads eight-thirty. Shit, Demi. I jump out of bed and throw on a night shirt I grab out of my drawer I step over the clothes on the floor and make my way out to start Demi breakfast. I hear a giggle that I love so much and the clanging of pots and pans. As I enter my kitchen I see that a tornado has decided to make breakfast in my kitchen.

Demi is perched on the kitchen counter covered in flour and munching on a banana and Ryder is flipping pancakes, shirtless I might add. He looks delicious standing there in just jeans with my daughter talking to him. They have the music on and they are singing 'Sexy and You Know It' by LMFAO.

I lean against the wall and watch them work. Neither of them has seen me yet and I am loving listening to their conversation.

“So I want to know more about this Blake boy at day care, he is your boyfriend, Angel?” I smile at his question, such a Papa bear, which makes my heart stutter.

“Silly, Ryder. I am too young for a boyfriend. He kissed me but I pushed him away. I don’t want boy cooties.”

“Well, I think I need to come to day care and kick his butt for trying to kiss my girl.” Demi giggles again and slaps his shoulder and Ryder pretends to be hurt and Demi lets out a full belly laugh.

“Wow, my girl packs a mean bunch there.” He high fives her. That’s when Demi spies, me I put my finger to my lips, telling her to be quiet. I come up behind Ryder and slide my hands around to his tight abs; he shivers from my touch and I kiss between his shoulder blades.

“Good morning to my two favorite people. I see a tornado has hit my once was sparkling kitchen, I wonder who did this?” In a flash Ryder points to Demi and Demi points to Ryder.

“Demi did it.”

“Ryder did it.”

We all burst out laughing and I lean over to kiss my baby girl. “You having fun with Ryder, baby?”

“Yes Mama, Ryder didn’t want to wake you. He said that you were tired from last night.” I cock an eyebrow at him, he leans in and he kisses me shutting me up.

“I will clean it up baby, we just wanted to do something nice for you.” I kiss him sweetly and help Demi off the counter so she can sit at the table. Ryder’s phone goes off but he ignores it.

“Do you need to get that?” He walks over to get his phone and shakes his head and I frown.

“It’s Beck, he has called four times and left texts. Something must be up,” he says, sitting at the table and replying to Beck’s text.

“This looks so yummy you two, thank you for this.” We dig in and Demi enjoys picking the half melted chocolate chips out of her pancakes, which makes Ryder laugh.

“So what do my ladies have planned for today?”

“We go to dance class this morning. Ooooo Ryder you have to come and see me dance mini street dancing. Oh pleeeeeeease?” Demi begs him and I can see that he cannot, in any way tell her no and I laugh.

“I will take both my ladies to dance and watch you both, that way I can make sure no boys kiss my girls” He winks at Demi and he laughs. Our laughter stops when someone starts banging on my front door. Demi jumps into my lap and Ryder heads towards the door. He opens the door and I hear voices.

“What the fuck, Beck? You don’t come to my girlfriend's home banging like a mother fucker on the door you scared the shit out of Demi.” I can hear the anger in his voice and yes his language should bother me but it doesn’t, he is just protecting my daughter, even against his best friend.

“I’m so sorry, Ry. I fucked up. I need to see you. Oh god Ryder, she fucking hates me. I can’t ever take it back she will never forgive me” That I can only assume is Beck and his voice sounds so pained.

I whisper to Demi, “Go to your room, baby. I need to help Ryder with his friend ok?” She nods and runs off to her room. I wait until I hear her door close and I make my way to the boys at the door.

“Maybe you should bring this inside, it’s too early for all this noise” I spin on my heel and make my way to the living room, I sit on the love seat and wait for Ryder and Beck; it doesn’t take them long to join me. Ryder strides over to me lifting me and placing me back in his lap as he speaks to Beck.

“Now, start from the beginning. What the hell did you do now? I can only imagine that Trinity is involved” Beck nods his head and then buries his head in his hands. He rakes his hands through his hair before he turns to us.

“I fucked Trin again.” He takes a deep breath and continues, “I was out with Skeet and the boys from the team when Trin walked in with a few girls. She looked hot as fuck and I led with my dick and not my head.”

He gives me an apologetic smile and carries on. “We started flirting and one thing lead to another and we ended up having sex in the back room at Max’s. She went to the bathroom to clean up but while she was gone a girl came in the room looking for Reeve but she found me. Fuck I had been drinking and oh God I should have stopped her…” Ryder cuts him off he has a habit of doing that.

“WHAT. DID. YOU. DO BECK?” He asks through clenched teeth.

“I let her suck me off. I was so horny from all the drinking and having just banged Trinity. I wanted her again but she was taking too long. I thought she left.” I flinched at his words and he notices. “Shit, I’m sorry Letty. Not how I wanted to meet my best friend’s girlfriend for the first time.” I give him a small smile and I feel Ryder run his hand up my back under my shirt.

“Anyways Trin came back into the room and asked why I was with the girl. I told her to fuck off and that she wasn’t my girlfriend and that she didn’t satisfy me and I was sick of waiting for her, so that’s why I needed to be sucked off. She hit me, Ry. She fucking hit me and told me she never wanted to see me again. God I have pushed her away from real this time” My heart hurts for him but I am happy that this girl Trinity hit him; he deserved it.

“You two are just as bad as each other, pushing each-other's buttons, but you never want anything more. To be honest Beck, after what you told her last night, she is better off without you.” Beck flinches at his cold words but he has a point.
