She reminisced about their friendship, how they had met and been fast friends. How even with two years separating them they had still found a lot of common interests and been inseperable, planning on being in the same city while she worked and grew her business and Kelly completed her residency and then found employment after that.

Rafe and Gabe walked back in with Manuel and Stefano who were holding bags of take out food. Ana kissed Kelly on the cheek, and hugged Rafe goodnight. They all left leaving Rafe with Kelly, and two new guards standing outside her door.

After the dinner they share
d with the rest of the family at a restaurant close to the hospital, they all dispersed. Gabe took Ana by her office where she collected her laptop and then they passed by Rafe’s penthouse and as she packed clean clothes for Kelly, he grabbed some for Rafe.

“Will Kelly’s parents stay here or with us?” she asked him.

“I don’t know baby, but I guess they won’t want to be far from their daughter. And I don’t think Rafe will want her out of his sight.”

“In that case, let me make sure there is a room ready for them.” She walked towards the bedrooms and took the further room away from Rafe’s master bedroom.
It wouldn’t do to have them share the same wall. Not that Rafe and Kelly would be up to any sexual acrobatics any day soon, but still better to be cautious. Ana realized Rafe’s housekeeper kept a tight ship. Everything was spic and span. The bathroom was fully equipped with all toiletries for either male or female. Towels were in abundance. She pulled the thin quilt covering the bed, and made the bed with Gabe’s help.

“Let’s go home baby,” Gabe said taking her hand in his. “We need to go to bed
early if we are to be at the hospital to meet Kelly’s parents.”

Ana
nodded. “Just give me about an hour,” she said and gripped his fingers, “to see what I can find about Brad. I can have my laptop search while we sleep.”
