If
A husband and wife in their seventies came from Guangzhou
and exclaimed: If it hadn't been for Chairman Mao, we
probably wouldn't be alive today.
If there was no sun in the skies
how would anything grow
If there was no dew on the earth
even the grass would wither
If he did not take the helm of the revolution
we may well still be wandering in the dark
If the nation hadn't produced this great son
the future of China would probably still be unclear
This old couple understand completely that: he was our saviour;
to remember Mao Zedong means that you will love the Communist
Party . . .
Lest we forget
A mother brought her four year-old child from Liaoning to
see Chairman Mao. The mother said: I can't let my child
forget Mao Zedong.
