“That was so fucking hot.” Tyce’s words were soothing and filled her with pleasure. She could see the heat in his eyes, and she hoped that his words were honest. He seemed to have genuinely enjoyed giving her pleasure, but the reality that she was at their mercy was a quick stab to her heart. She stiffened, and her body went ice-cold.

“Oh God! I, umm…I have to go. Let me go! I need…I need…ummm.” She fumbled for words as she ripped herself away from Xavier’s hold and pushed past a stunned Tyce while jerking her top back into place. Pausing for just a moment to look at their shocked faces, she could feel tears filling her eyes. Overwhelmed by another rush of humiliation and shame she ran again.

She ran down the hallway into the employee’s bathroom next to the lounge and locked herself inside. She sat down on the lid of the commode, dropping her head into her hands. The tears started to fall and quickly became a torrent. She tried to remain completely silent, afraid that someone might hear her and ask questions. She considered going straight to her car and driving as far as the next tank of gas would take her, but she knew she couldn’t.

Somewhere deep inside her chest there was a still enough strength to face Tyce and Xavier and prove to herself that her body didn’t control her actions. Never again would she let men dictate her actions. It was bad enough she was still running from Robert. No matter how awkward it would be to face the Dawson brothers, she needed to make as much money as she could, and she was making great tips working here, so she wouldn’t leave unless forced.

She had freely given herself to them, and she would have to accept what happened, but she couldn’t lie to herself. It scared her. With Robert there had never been such an intense, burning desire or the instant arousal. Hell, he had never even given her an orgasm, much less one with just his mouth and hands on her breasts. She didn’t like that she couldn’t control herself when they touched her. She thought last night that it was just Tyce, or maybe just a craving for masculine appreciation. But now with her reaction to Xavier just as strong, she just didn’t know what to think. What kind of a slut was she turning into? She wanted both of them with every fiber of her being.

Once the tears finally stopped, she got up and washed her face with cold water. She solemnly studied the woman looking back at her from the mirror. Even she could see the fear and sadness in her own brown eyes. Her cheeks were flushed with arousal, but her nose was pink, and her eyelids were puffy from her tears. She had never seen her lips look so red and swollen, and she skimmed her hands over them, remembering the power in Xavier’s kiss and the tease of Tyce’s.

Her honey-blonde hair was tangled and wild around her face. There was a light whisker burn across her belly where Tyce had rubbed against her, and her navel still tingled where Xavier had played with her belly ring. She looked aroused and sated all at once. Running her fingers through her hair to tame it a little, she readjusted her clothing, making sure she was as decent as the small uniform allowed, and took a deep breath before opening the door. Seeing the office door still shut tightly and an empty hallway, she emerged from her hidey-hole.

She walked straight to the bar without looking back down the hall toward the office, keeping her chin high and her face blank of emotion. She smiled at Kara Holt, her partner bartender for the night, and clocked herself in for her shift. She spent the next several minutes focusing on her customers and her job, but she felt it when the brothers finally came back into the barroom. The air changed, and it was like all of the oxygen was sucked out, and she glanced toward the doorway. Xavier’s ice-blue eyes met hers, and she could have sworn she felt a spark of electricity jump across the room from him to her. Hurrying to busy herself, she spun around, putting her back to the room. She could still sense Xavier’s eyes on her as easily as his fingers had been earlier.

“Sid, we need another round of beers over here!”

She turned toward the table next to the bar and found it surrounded by friends of the Dawson brothers as well as Xavier and Tyce. For just a second she wondered where Noah was, and then her eyes met Tyce’s, and her stomach dropped. She could feel the moisture gather between her thighs as he smiled arrogantly back at her. Damn it, he knew what she was feeling and clearly knew that it was because of him.

She tossed her hair back and lifted her tray of beer mugs. With an extra sway in her hips, she headed for the table, determined to show them how unaffected she was.

Chapter 3

Tyce watched Sidney walk their way with her chin high, and her eyes on the other occupants of the table. She flashed a dazzling smile at his best friend, Lane Thompson, and he felt a surge of jealousy course through him. Watching her move around the table, passing drinks out and flirting with all of the other men but refusing to acknowledge him and Xavier, was making him ache to pull her into his lap and make a scene to stake his claim on her.

Still unsure what had happened to the hot little firecracker in the office earlier, he watched her every move carefully. He had never wanted a woman so much in his life. His insides were a riot of twisted emotions. When he reached the office and heard her talking to Xavier, shock and rage had consumed him. He couldn’t believe she could say that she had been taken advantage of. Never in his life had he pushed a woman past her limits if she said no. He just wasn’t that type of guy. When she had surrendered to them so easily, his body had reacted hard and fast. He wanted her like he wanted air in his lungs, and he let himself touch her. It even turned him on watching Xavier touch her and turn her on. He knew that she had enjoyed every touch and taste, because her orgasm had left naked emotion in her eyes. Even she couldn’t have denied that she had enjoyed herself, but then she ran. She got spooked by something, and she took off.

The two men had stayed in the office for a little while talking through what had happened. She seemed open to a ménage, or at least not repulsed by the idea, and she was definitely hot for both of them, so why not? Now they just needed to convince her that she could let it happen.

Xavier hadn’t filled him in yet on what he found in her background search, but they would probably have a chance to talk tonight after work. Noah had been tied up most of the day processing shipments into inventory and dealing with other backroom duties, so they hadn’t spoken at all. He smiled internally, wondering what Noah would say when he found out that his brothers actually wanted to share Sidney between them.

His eyes followed her curvy ass as she walked back to the bar, and his cock hardened.

“Mmm. I sure would like a bite of that ass!” he heard Lane saying next to him.

“Shut the fuck up,” Xavier said, growling low in his throat threateningly.

“Whoa, man! Sorry, didn’t know you had staked a claim. That’s a damn shame, because I would have liked to take that one for a ride. She seems to have some fire in her.” Lane was laughing with their other friends, who all now watched Sidney as she worked the bar and spoke with other customers.

“She’s off-limits,” Tyce said quietly, and everyone grew quiet and stared at the brothers in stunned silence.

“Holy shit! You’re both doing her?” Gage Laramie’s voice was incredulous, and the look on his face was of pure admiration.

“Nobody is
doing
her. She is our employee, and as such is our responsibility, so back off,” Xavier snapped.

“He means that she is off-limits to you man whores.” Tyce’s words were playful, but with a hint of irritation.

“Oh, so now
we
are the man whores? Isn’t that the pot calling the kettle black, Dawson?” Lane laughed. “No worries, there are plenty of other kitties around that want to be stroked. She is all yours.”

The men went back to talking and laughing amongst themselves, but Xavier remained quiet. Tyce watched his brother fighting his emotions. This was a long way from over, and they were going to have to figure something out.

Suddenly there was a large crash and the boom of something heavy hitting the floor. Loud enough and strong enough to make the glasses on the table in front of them rattle, it was followed by the sound of breaking glass and a feminine scream.

At the first loud crash, Tyce jumped to his feet to race across the bar toward the back room, but that terrified scream stopped him in his tracks. Sidney was crouched on the floor in a tight ball with broken glass surrounding her, and he could see her whole body trembling. He looked around him as people moved toward the back of the bar, trying to find out what had happened, and finally made eye contact with Xavier. He gestured toward Sidney, silently communicating his intentions, and Xavier gave a quick nod before heading into the back room to investigate. Tyce pushed through the crowd to reach Sidney, and he ran his hands over her.

“Sidney? Are you okay? What’s wrong, love? Did you get hurt? Are you cut?” His heart was thundering in his chest as he searched her for injuries. She shook her head but continued to cry, and the protective instinct that took hold of him was completely foreign to him. Closing his mind off to the odd feelings, he went on instinct, and he scooped Sidney into his arms.

He made a beeline for the back office with his precious bundle and settled onto the couch with her in his lap. Her arms were around his neck, and her face was buried into his neck as she tried to bring her fear under control. Her whole body shook violently, and he could hear her gasping breaths. Gently he stroked one hand over her hair and the other over her naked thigh, trying not to think about his hard cock under her soft ass. He held her quietly until her breathing regulated and her trembles subsided. They were only alone for a few moments before Xavier pushed through the door, followed by Noah.

“Honey, are you okay?” Noah asked as his eyes scanned over Sidney’s form. Xavier didn’t speak, but instead he dropped to his knees next to them, running his hands over her body to look for injuries just like Tyce had. This time, however, she was more aware of her surroundings, and she quickly pushed Xavier’s hands away.

“I’m fine. I’m sorry I panicked,” she said, but her voice came out as a squeak. Reality came crashing into her like a tidal wave. She was sitting in Tyce’s lap, surrounded by the only other two men that had ever made her throb with desire, and she had their full attention. Xavier’s hands had just been running all over her body, making her skin tingle. Her anxiety ratcheted up as she tried to come up with a believable explanation for her panic attack. She looked up, and when Xavier’s eyes met hers, she instinctively dropped her gaze away from the intensity in those blue orbs.

“Don’t be scared. It was a pallet of supplies that got dropped when the loader’s hydraulics broke. No one got hurt, thankfully. We just have a bit of a mess in the back room to clean up.” Noah crouched down next to Xavier, taking her hands into his and drawing her attention. “Honey, why did it scare you so much?”

“Umm…I don’t know…I mean, I heard it, and I thought it was a gunshot…” She fidgeted for a moment, but froze when she remembered that she was still in Tyce’s lap. The thickness underneath her told her that he was very physically aware of her wiggling.

“A gunshot? Why would someone be shooting around here, Sidney?” Xavier’s question set panic building in her chest again, and she started to pull away from Tyce’s embrace without answering.

“No, Sidney, you can’t run away from us this time. What is going on? Are you in trouble?” Tyce pulled her back against his chest and pressed her head back down to his shoulder. Her whole body was trembling, and he kissed the top of her head, running his hand up and down her back. For an instant she wondered how it would feel to be held like this through the night. Comforted and cherished like something precious. She quickly discarded the fantasy and tried to refocus on the situation.

“Tyce, please let me go,” she said with a strength that belied the fragile state her emotions were in. When she turned away from him, she found Xavier still kneeling in front of her. He reached out and gently but firmly gripped her chin, forcing her to look him in the eyes.

“Want to tell us about Robert Wicks?” Xavier said quietly. Sidney felt like her lungs would never expand again. Terror trickled down her spine, followed by sadness that was so overpowering she had to close her eyes against their questioning looks. Like waves each emotion swept over her, leaving her breathless and closer to the edge of an irrationally emotional breakdown. She twisted away from Xavier’s grip on her jaw and jumped up from Tyce’s lap.

“No, actually I don’t. That’s my business, and I don’t need to share it with anyone. I’m going back out to the front to help Kara.” She reached the door before she felt hands on her. Noah’s firm body pressed against her back, and he wrapped his arms tightly around her. One arm was across her chest and the other across her hips, holding her immobile while he pressed a kiss to her ear. It was a beautifully sweet touch that made her ache to share her burdens with him. “Stop, honey. Whatever it is, you can talk to us,” he murmured against her ear, and goose bumps prickled across her arms. She couldn’t tell them about Robert, and she couldn’t let them get any closer to her. It was time to leave.

“Look, I’m sorry if I gave you all the wrong impression, but I don’t want or need your help. What I need is my privacy, and my paycheck. I will finish my shift and leave my uniform in the locker tonight. Clearly I can’t continue working here.” She held herself stiff until she felt Noah reluctantly release her, and then she threw the door open and walked down the hallway. She could feel the tingle of all three men’s eyes on her again until the door shut behind her. Straightening her spine, she fought off tears as she reentered the bar dining room. She wouldn’t cry for a man again. No matter how much she wanted to.
