San Francisco is abbreviated to "SF," and so are many other cities. Take care with Los Angeles, since its abbreviation can also mean Louisiana.

What time does the plane take off?

Do you have your ticket?

May I see your ticket, please?

The airport is closed due to fog.

There is no sign for "fog," so fingerspell it at the end of the sentence, after the sign BECAUSE.

The flight has been delayed an hour.

The flight has been canceled.

I have to change planes in Chicago.

There's a two-hour layover.

The seats are not reserved.
