Her face was red and a single tear
trickled down her cheek.

“Sweetheart,” Bill exclaimed, clearly
touched by his daughter’s heartfelt speech, “the important thing is - well -
look at you!

You’ve come come
through it and that’s all that matters.”

Dante could see Kate’s father was having a tough time
controlling his own unexpected wave of emotion.

“Thank you, Dad,” she said, softly, and
threw her arms around his neck.

He’d not had a hug from his daughter since she was a little girl and it
was the last straw.

He held her tightly,
letting out a gruff coughing sound, and Dante saw tears slide down his face.

“Alright, alright,” he said, releasing
her and wiping his cheeks with the back of his hand.

“You just make sure you continue to listen to Dante.”

“Yes, Dad.

I promise,” she said.

“And you should know that Dante taught me how to make the dinner we’re
having.”

“Is that so.

A man of many talents,” Bill exclaimed, looking over at him.

“Speaking of which, I should go and check
on it.

Would you please excuse
me?” she said, standing up.

“Of course, my dear,” Bill replied.

Kate stood up and headed out, and Dante,
who had been standing against the fireplace the whole time, finally sat down in
the armchair opposite the couch.

Bill stared at him in amazement.

“Dante,”
Bill Hollister began, “I really don’t know how you’ve worked this miracle.

It’s remarkable.

I hardly recognize her.

And I don’t just mean the hair - the
clothes - the make up.

I mean,
everything.

She’s so polite - and
dare I say it - demure.”

“Well
thank you,” Dante said smiling.

“I
think she just needed the right motivation.

Did you know that she’s a very talented artist and wants to
pursue art as a career?

I think
she’d do very well if she could get into some kind of graphic arts college, or
even design school.

She really is
very good.”

“I’m
sure we could arrange that,” Bill Hollister said quickly.

“I know she likes painting.

She tried a few classes but they
didn’t work out so well,” he said, frowning, recalling the unfortunate
incidents.

“But she did a
masterful job in her room.

Perhaps
with your influence the second time around will be more successful.”

“I
can guarantee it,” Dante promised.

“And
I believe you,” Bill chuckled.

A
cough interrupted the conversation and they looked across at Kate, now standing
in the doorway.

“I
think about thirty minutes, so if you want to take some time to freshen up ---”

“Excellent
suggestion,” her father replied, standing up and walking toward the doors.

As he met his daughter he hugged her
again.

“I’m
very proud of you dear,” he said softly.

“Very.”

Kate
smiled and choked back a fresh set of tears.

Once
he was gone she walked over to Dante and sat on the arm of the chair.

“Oh
my gosh,” she breathed.

“That was
incredible.”

Dante
stood up and gave her a quick hug of his own.

“You’re
incredible,” he whispered in her ear.

“Now let’s get this cleared up.”

Putting everything back on the tray they
headed back to the kitchen.

Dante
placed the bottle back in the refrigerator to keep it cold for their meal, and
leaned against the wall watching Kate while she washed the glasses.

When she had finished drying them and
returning them to their cupboard, he beckoned her over.

“How
do you feel?” he asked, pulling her close and cupping her seat cheeks in his
hands.

“Ow,”
she winced.

“Complaining?”
he asked, seriously.

“No!”
she exclaimed.

“Not at all.”

“Just
as well!” he declared.

“And don’t
forget there are lots of wooden spoons in this kitchen and I’ll have no
compunction about using any of them if need be,” he warned, though with a
smile.

She
felt a warm rush.

Her clit
twitched and her nipples hardened under her sweater.

“Hmmm....

a good spanking does more than teach
doesn’t it Kate?”

“Yes,
Sir,” she replied, truthfully.

“It
certainly does.”

“Make
sure you call me Dante in front of your father,” he reminded her.

“Yes.
Dante,” she giggled.

He
squeezed again and she winced again.

“Polite
and sweet,” he said firmly.

“Yes
- of course.”

He
raised her skirt and slipped his fingers through the waistband of her
panties.

She gasped, loving the
feel of his fingers against her skin.

He moved them down, slipping them into her wet crevice.

“Baby,”
he crooned, “You’re unbelievably wet.”

He
kissed her neck and felt her melt into his chest.

“Oh
Dante,” she moaned.

“I want you so
badly.”

“You
know what to do then,” he said quietly.

“Be a good girl.

Good girls
get rewarded, and bad girls--?”

“Get
punished,” she finished, trembling as his finger brushed against her tingling
twat.

“Check
on your roast,” he said, gently pushing her away and willing his cock to sleep.

She
stepped back, took a deep breath and headed to the oven.

Dante
was keeping her company as she continued to work on the meal, when he heard her
father coming down the stairs.

He
peeked out and saw the man headed to his study.

“I
need to talk to you dad for a minute.

I’ll be back.”

“Is
everything ok?” she asked.

“Yes.

Absolutely,” he reassured her, walking
out.

“I just want him to know that
what he’s seeing is permanent.

It
is, isn’t it?”

“Oh
yes,” she replied, emphatically.

“Tell him definitely yes.”

But
that was not the real reason he wanted to talk to her father. There was
something far more important on his mind.

When he reached the study he found the door ajar, and as soon as Bill
saw him approach he stood up from behind his desk.

“Dante,”
Bill said, “How can I ever thank you.”

“Believe
me,” Dante replied, “the pleasure has been all mine.

Kate is a lovely young woman.”

“Well
- she’s a lovely young woman because you waved a magic wand,” the man said
seriously.

“Please, sit down,” he
offered, gesturing towards the seat in front of his desk.

Sitting
down Dante suppressed a laugh.

He’d waved several magic wands.

His hand, his cock, his crop and his flogger.

“Bill,” he began, soberly. “There’s
something I need to discuss with you.”

“Is
there something wrong?” Bill asked, a frown crossing his face.

“No
- actually.

There’s something very
right,” he replied, putting the man’s mind at rest.

“The thing is,” he continued, clearing his throat, “I - well
- I have fallen very deeply in love with Kate.

I realized just recently that I think I’ve been in love with
her for a long time.

It kind of,
snuck up on me.”

“Dante
that’s wonderful news.

I can’t
think of anyone I’d rather have with Kate than you!”

“I
wasn’t sure - I mean - I’m not a Wall Street type or anything,” Dante said,
quietly confessing his fears.

As
much as he knew Bill Hollister loved and respected him, Dante wasn’t completely
sure the man would want his daughter marrying a landscape architect from such
humble beginnings.

Now he felt
embarrassed that he had underestimated him.

“Dante,”
Bill said gravely, “the most important thing is that Kate is happy and loved by
the man she chooses.

I was just
hoping it would be a man who could handle her and keep her out of trouble.

I have no doubt about that with you!
None whatsoever.”

“Thank
you, Bill.

Very much.

I -

uh - actually I plan on asking her to marry me.

With your permission and blessing of
course.”

“But
of course. I couldn’t be happier.

This is just a marvelous day,” Bill beamed, and moved quickly around the
desk.

Dante rose from this chair
and embraced him.

There was an
awkward moment as they broke apart, but were saved by Kate’s voice.

“Dinner’s
ready.”

She
was standing in the doorway, a puzzled look on her face.

“Is
everything alright?” she asked, wondering what she’d come across.

“Everything
is better than alright,” her father answered.

“And I’m starving.

Feed me!”

She
laughed, and the two men, smiling broadly, followed her to the dining room and
took their seats.

Kate served them
both then brought her own plate to the table and sat down.

The
meal was eaten with delight and great compliments, and the desert, a cheesecake
delivered from a local eatery, was consumed with relish.

When Kate rose to clear the plates and
insisted no-one help her, once again her father was delightfully surprised, and
he and Dante retired to living room where Kate served them coffee.

“Dante tells me you’d like to study
art,” Bill said as she sat down next to him on the sofa.

“I know you’ve tried art classes
before, but if you think you can stick it out this time you have my blessing
and support.

I think it’s a
wonderful idea.”

“Really,”
Kate beamed, shooting Dante a look.

“Really,”
Bill Hollister replied.

“Thank
you, Dad.

Thank you so much!” she
exclaimed happily.

“You’re
welcome.

Just let me know all the
details,” he replied, as he finished his coffee.

“My goodness. I’m suddenly very tired.

Been a long trip - long day.

I think I’m ready to head up to
bed.

Still have some papers to
read before I can go to sleep,” he said, standing up.

Kate
hugged him tightly.

“Goodnight
sweetheart,” he said warmly.

“I’m
just so proud of you.”

He kissed
her on the forehead.

Dante
and Kate followed him out of the living room and said a second goodnight as
they watched him walk up the stairs, then wandered back to sit in front of the
fire.

Dante closed the large
double doors and settled on the couch.

Leaning back he closed his eyes.

He too was feeling totally wiped out.

“You
exhausted as well,” Kate observed, flopping down next to him.

“I
certainly am,” he replied, opening his eyes and looking down at her.

“You were brilliant tonight,” he said,
placing an arm around her and pulling her next to him.

“Just brilliant.

I’m so proud of you.”

She
snuggled against him.

“Dare
I ask if I get my reward?” she said, moving her hand across his member, resting
quietly inside his trousers.

“I
think,” he began, slowly, “you might get a reward -- and something extra,” he
replied.

“That
sounds mysterious,” she she replied.

“Something extra?”

“You’ll
just have to wait and see,” he told her, and stroked her hair.

Knowing
she was probably just as tired, he offered to help finish the cleaning up in
the kitchen and she gratefully accepted.

With the two of them working together it didn’t take long and they were
soon back in his room.

The
Master Suite was an entire wing on the opposite side of the house, so Dante had
no concerns about being disturbed, but he was not going to allow Kate to stay
with him over night, simply out of respect.
