"See, if you didn’t have to go to work now, you didn’t need to be in that stress, we could enjoy more of each other."

She threw him a look as if to say to him, that he shouldn’t dare to continue with the conversation. She arrived at work even in the last minute, but still managed to be the first to enter the office. Sat on the chair and felt her butt soared, smiled remembering why she was soared, JP and the great sex she had in the morning. She loved the experience with JP as they were still living life in a perfect bubble outside the island. But is that going to last forever, will he not going to change his mind at the last minute and he wants a divorce anyway and leave her alone again to go through hell. A flurry of thoughts clouded her mind, in top of it her stomach was not in his best days today. She opted to distract herself with work that had to be done, what made her well, think and focus on other issues other than JP. Colleagues noticed that she had now her diamond rings, something they had been surprised at first but hadn’t commented. Once they have seen her rings on her fingers as soon they made comment that it should have cost a fortune, she just smiled, because actually she had no idea how much it must have cost.

Comments from colleagues didn’t stop there, they began sending guesses that her husband should be extremely rich to be able to give her those diamond rings like the ones she is wearing. Carolina had never stopped to think if he was rich or not, she knew he had a good home, but she had never seen money, gold cards or whatever it was to reveal any signs of extreme wealth from him. Actually she didn’t know if he was rich, very rich or extremely rich. She was not interested in knowing.

Before returning home, she passes in the supermarket to buy fruit and food to make for dinner. When she arrived at JP’s, he was already there and she was surprised since she was living at JP’s home he came home always late.

"Didn’t you go working today?"

Question admired Carolina.

"I went just for a little bit, it’s everything under control"

He said coming close to her giving her a delicious and long kiss.

"I'll make dinner for us and I was thinking doing tortellini with mushroom sauce, something simple what do you think?"

Looking at him and waiting for his answer.

"It’s great, but I need to talk to you about a an issue"

And then here it comes the bomb, he has decided that it is best to move forward with the divorce.

Carolina thought getting nervous to know what’s about. She waited visible anxious for him to start saying what he needs to say, he realized that she was unease, he simply says:

"I was thinking that we should give the bloody divorce completely up.

I decided to sell my business and I want to travel the world with you, I want to show you the world, I want a family with you, I want everything I am entitled with you."

Getting near her hugging and kissing her. She was in shock she was white and was without any reaction, she expected him to say he wanted to go ahead with the divorce, but now he was only giving her the best news she always wanted to hear, he wants to give her the world, she feels loved.

But a family?!

Now he wants to start a family, did he hit his head? We are both 43 years old and he wants to have children now?

Carolina never crossed her mind again to have more children but she never considered that could be an option much less now with 43 years old. She had to sit down, she needed a glass of water she was feeling dizzy, her stomach was grappling again, fetched a bottle of water and drank as she went to go sitting on the couch. When she was about to sit on the couch and had enough water, she asked him again to confirm whether she heard correctly:

"Do you want children now at 43?"

"Yes, I do and you haven’t much time so we'd better start now"

He told her very enthusiastic when he sat besides her kissing her on the face, lips, neck.

"Can you at least think a little bit about it?"

Trying to convince her to have his kids.

He was surprised by her response, she noticed that he was serious about it, and she didn’t had any answer for him now, she needed to think carefully about that, and said to him in an attempt to calm him down:

"As you know I have two sons already, they are young adults by now and they can live without my presence most of the time already.

After my divorce, I never had a relation enough serious to introduce to my boys, I stop thinking about having kids if I couldn’t have even a serious relationship, I kind of blocked it from my mind and from my life, I never thought about the possibility of having children again.

I'm just surprised with your request I never imagined it was so important for you to have children. While my age was advancing I stop thinking about that possibility. You got me completely by surprise that's all."

"For me it is important to have children"

"But you already have a daughter"

"Who lives with the her mother full-time"

"Why don’t you split time to be with her?"

"It was never an option, believe or not, it’s not worth the fighting.

When she became pregnant we were already separated, she became pregnant thinking I would return because of the baby, of course I didn’t returned. I love my daughter to pieces, but the mother will never let me alone with her of fear that I could take my daughter."

"Were you able to take your daughter away from her mother?"

"Never crossed my mind, I recognize that I could never give the attention she deserves all by myself, it is the mother who was always with her and takes good care of her. She is an excellent mother. Of course I gave her a house and she has a monthly allowance, she doesn’t need to worry about anything in life but to take care of my daughter. That's why I want to sell everything I have, to have time to enjoy a family with someone I love, I want to appreciate in full all moments with my kids and their mother, I want a normal family, the one I never had that"

If Carolina were standing, she would have fallen on the floor right now.

Did he just say that he loves me?!

Surely he didn’t mean it in the terms that she was thinking, but it was remarkable. She ended up saying:

"Let me think for a week, at the end of a week I'll give you the answer"

"Can’t you give it now? It is very important to me."

Insisting on an answer right away.

"I don’t understand, did you woke up today with the desire to be a father?!"

"I want to have a family for a long time, but never had the opportunity like I'm having now with you, and today I realized that I want to have children you with, I want you to be the mother of my kids, I want to raise a family, travel the world, I give you everything, I will treat you always like a princess, that's why I say that you don’t need to work because you don’t really need to. What I'm trying to tell you...is...that...I love you...maybe I love you for longer than I know and I want to be with you forever"

Carolina still sitting was in shock, never thought hearing these words come out of his mouth, she was overjoyed, beaming, and she was over the moon. She began to cry, but it was tears of happiness. Embracing him crying, kissing him saying:

"I love you too, I love you from the first moment I met you"

"I was so stupid and I lost so much time without seeing the obvious. Please forgive me"

He looks at her, he puts his hands on her face holding her gently kissing her, giving her the most passionate and intense kiss Carolina ever felt in her life from any man.

"I can give you the answer now, I want to have children with you, and if it’s important to you it’s important to me"

As soon as he hears the words from her mouth, he gets up, comes near her and lifts her in the air whirling her with joy, kissing her on the lips, on the face, neck with a crazy passion for her. They were in ecstasy of happiness since they had finally discovered the truth love for each other. After the initial impact has passed, they decided to go to dinner together. In the kitchen Carolina began to make dinner with JP’s help, she decided while doing dinner to make a cake to celebrate, she had the ingredients and went to work, she made a very simple cake, and it was just adding the ingredients and put in the oven.

JP was enthusiastic about the cake experience, he had never made a cake before, but the most interesting part was being able to hug her from behind and give her kisses on her neck trying to distracting Carolina in her task. He loved confound her, feeling her body slowly surrendering to him, making him feel the happiest man in the world right now. In an attempt to achieve the cake finalized she throws with a little bit of flour to his face, to try to dissuade him to grabbing her, he catch a little bit and throws flour to her also, in no time the kitchen became one pitched battle flour and got full of flour on their faces and clothes, the flour was all over the place, it was on the floor and everywhere in the kitchen, it was a total confusion.

JP grabs Carolina's waist, takes his hand to her neck pulling her to him, kissed her in a passionate kiss, hot, sweet and long that gradually was becoming needy for more. He grabs with his hands Carolina hips, takes his hands underneath her dress, with his hands up until he finds Carolina’s underwear, grabbing them and pulling them away. Holding Carolina by her waist, he lifted her up sitting her on the kitchen counter, and sliding with his hands her legs slowly apart setting the stage for the fate of the next few minutes. Carolina loves when he plays with his magic hands waking up all her ending nerves, she loves when his kisses cover her body leaving her the desire burning for him, he always has that inexplicable power over her when their bodies approach each other and intertwined mixing the essence of each other.

She loves to run her fingers through his hair, his three days soft beard, his muscular shoulders and down his hairy chest. At this time he plays only enough with her to get inside of her all at once, he loves to fills her with just one stroke, sometimes it’s almost savagely but both enjoyed it, he knows she likes and is always prepared to receive him this way. It doesn’t take long to reach an orgasm together. When they recomposed they looked at each other admiring the state of the kitchen, bursting out laughing.

"Who is going to clean this up?"

Carolina looked at JP inviting him to clean it up.

"The maid in the morning"

"I will clean up most of it after finish dinner and the cake"

Said Carolina while she discovers a small wireless vacuum cleaner in the pantry next to the kitchen, and handing it to him. He looks at the vacuum bemused he never dealt with a vacuum cleaner before, he begins to suck all around for fun, getting it up towards her sucking her clothes and hair. When they finally are going to eat it was already late, after dinner they only raised the table and left the kitchen to be cleaned in the morning by the maid who was there every day. The maid wouldn’t be very pleased to see all that mess, but there is what she was for.

Before going to bed they took a shower together in JP’s suite, he said to Carolina he asked the maid in the morning to bring everything from Carolina to his room, because now on it would be their bedroom. The hot water dripped taking the day's fatigue and the flour pitched battle from the kitchen away, as the bodies were being cleaned, like a magnet they became increasingly close together, until they touch each other. The water ran over them, there was no way to resist the temptation again because they felt like two teens making love and enjoy every time a new sexual experience, always ready to repeat the pleasure they had from being with each other.

Snuggled up in bed as always spooning, he puts his arm around her, preparing to sleep feeling the body heat from one another.

In the following day he was ready to return inside her, but she needed to get up and go to work.

JP was about starting the same conversation as always:

"You know you don’t need work..."

"I know that"

Interrupted Carolina leaving the room to go to the kitchen for breakfast and rush out, she went to the fridge to eat anything, but saw nothing that pleased her. In fact she felt no appetite. She drank just a coffee and left.

By mid-morning at work, she didn’t know if it was the stress she had accumulated in her body from the last weeks, but felt her stomach grappling again, a headache followed by a buzz and she fainted falling into the carpeted office floor. When her colleague notices, she was already lying on the floor unconscious, the poor fellow didn’t know what to do or what was happening, he called an ambulance and Carolina went to the hospital still unconscious and only returned to wake up already in the hospital, she asked what was happening with her, and the doctors who assisted her said they were waiting for some tests results and analysis they made, but she shouldn’t worry much, because she was fine now.

She calls JP informing him that she was in the hospital, but she said he shouldn’t worry that it should be just a low blood pressure issue, she had it before, but it was very rare to faint. JP rushed out of in a middle of a meeting and went to the hospital to see Carolina he needed to know what’s really going on, first he went to her room to make sure she was okay and then he went to talk with the doctor who had assisted her to know what was happening with his wife. The doctor said he had just received all the tests results they made to Carolina.
