CHAPTER 1

Ali lay on the bed, stunned.
He just walked out?
Why? Where did he go? The bathroom maybe? Or maybe he went to get a drink or something. But then why wouldn’t he just say that’s what he was doing? What had she done wrong?

Slowly, Ali sat up, grabbing the blanket at the foot of his bed and holding it in front of her naked body. This was her night. Everything had been going so well. She was going to finally get herself over her ex-boyfriend, Pat.

She strained to listen to the things around her. The house was eerily silent. She couldn’t even hear Riley’s footsteps in other parts of the house. She swallowed hard. Should she wait here or begin putting on her clothes and take the walk of shame on back home? She didn’t know. She’d never been in a situation like this before.

Then she heard it: the distinct, faint sound of the click of a door being shut. She breathed a sigh of relief. At least he was still here. She lay back on the bed and waited for him. And she waited, and waited, and waited for a full fifteen minutes. Her mind raced with possibilities. What was his deal anyway? Who just got up and walked away without saying a word.

That was it. She was done. Flinging the blanket off of her, she got out of bed and stood, looking around the floor for her dress. It was then she noticed how clean and tidy Riley’s room was. It appeared as though he might be OCD with the way everything had a very specific place. It was probably for the better he walked away and they didn’t go any further.

Ali bent over to scoop her dress off the floor. So much for going home with a stranger and having rebound sex. How’d that work out for her? She shook her head.
I’m going to kill Hilary for even suggesting I do this. How humiliating!
Honestly, who gets ditched in the middle of a one-night stand? And what kind of guy ditches a girl in his own bed? There was seriously something wrong with that guy. Lesson learned. She would never let Hilary convince her—

The bedroom door opened. Ali spun around, dress held in front of her in an attempt at some level of modesty. Riley stood in the doorway, his gorgeous eyes taking all of her in, his full, delectable lips moist from having just licked them. Ali’s resolve began to crack.

“Going somewhere?” he asked, stepping further into the room.

“Yeah, I . . .”

A girl walked in behind Riley. She was petite, blonde, and had a couple balloons for tits. They were huge! Much bigger than Ali’s small muffins. For all intents and purposes, she was stunning. Man, talk about feeling inferior. Ali tightened her grip on her dress, pressing it even closer to her body.

What the hell is going on here? Who is that girl?

Then it dawned on her. Riley had left to go get her. He’d left Ali here, in his bed, to go get another girl and bring her home!

Why? Was this some sort of twisted threesome she was unaware of? Or was she the third wheel? The unwanted girl he’d mistakenly brought home and was now looking for a way to get rid of? Well, talk about a hell of a way to make his point. All he had to do was ask her to go and she would’ve. Gladly.

“You’re right, Riley. She is sexy,” the other woman said.

Ali’s jaw dropped. Okay, so apparently this was some sort of ménage scenario. And that was something she didn’t want any part of. “Thanks,” she said through clenched teeth, then settled her gaze on Riley. “I don’t want to interfere. I’ll go now.”

She made a move to step around him but he blocked her path. “Who said anything about you interfering?” He gently tugged at her dress, pulling it from her grasp and tossing it to the other side of the room. Then he pulled her close to him, his lips aligning with hers in the same perfect way they’d done all night.

As much as she wanted to push him away and tell him no, she couldn’t. The moment she felt his tongue slip past her lips and into her mouth, she was a goner. Plus, there was something powerful about knowing the blonde was watching from the doorway. She had to know Riley wanted Ali, that he initiated things with her, and that she was going to escalate them until he couldn’t stand it a moment longer.

Ali still didn’t know why Riley would prefer her to the blonde. The blonde had everything Ali didn’t and it was sexy and intimidating at the same time.

Riley coursed his hands down her back and over her ass cheeks, grabbing and squeezing them. She moaned when he dipped one hand even lower, his finger grazing her pussy lips. “Riley.” God, his touch was electric, igniting her body in a way she’d never experienced before.

Nipping at her bottom lip, he slowly pulled away but didn’t release his hold on her. “I thought Tracy here could—”

“It’s Tristy,” she interrupted.

He rolled his eyes. “I thought Tristy here could join in on our little party.” He flicked his tongue across her lips and in an instant their mouths melted together, their kiss a firestorm raging hotter and hotter. “What do you say?”

Ali had to force her eyes open when all she wanted to do was stand there kissing him, feeling his hands roam over her naked body. A moment later, Riley stepped fully away from her. He pulled a small bottle of hard liquor from his pocket and held it up. He winked.

“Something to take the edge off,” he said, twisting the top and handing it to Tristy. Tristy took a pull and then passed it to Ali.

She hesitated and then shook her head. Tristy shrugged and handed it to Riley who eagerly took a healthy swig.

Earlier in the night, Ali couldn’t believe she was going to go through with rebound sex. Now she couldn’t believe she was here, with Riley, who she didn’t know anything about other than he was a sexy artist who kissed extremely well. And this blonde bimbo who apparently also wanted to have sex with her. She wasn’t sure how she’d get out of this one and she wanted to keep her head about her.

Riley slightly tilted his head to the side and nudged the bottle of booze toward her. She sighed, thinking of what she might do. It was only sex, right?

Reluctantly she took the bottle, which earned her a knee weakening smile from him. She swung it back, taking two big gulps, just enough to keep the buzz going but not to get her stumbling drunk. Besides, if she was going to go through with this, she was going to need to be looser than she was feeling right now.

Riley took the bottle a second time and took another huge swig, then tossed it aside. He pulled a lighter from his pocket along with a rolled joint and lit it.

Ali couldn’t believe this guy. She had never smoked weed before. He took a pull and then passed it to Tristy. Finally, it made its way to Ali and Riley stood in front her. She hesitantly put the joint between her lips, holding it like she’d seen him do, and let him light it. Her first inhale was sharp and fast, causing her to cough and choke so hard tears sprang to her eyes. Perfect. Now they’d both know she’d never gotten high before. That was just what she needed.

“Easy, Ali.” His voice was so soothing, sexy. “Try this first.” Riley took the joint back and took deep drag, held it, and then pressed his lips to hers. When she opened her mouth to kiss him, he blew smoke into her mouth, then immediately sealed his lips to hers, making it so she couldn’t blow the smoke back out or choke on it. “Better?” he asked, taking a small step backwards.

Ali nodded. Whoa. That was intense. Not to mention she was now dizzy. Did pot start working that quickly? Or was it still the residual effects of being drunk? Hell, maybe it was both. She wasn’t much of a partier. She’d never needed to be. Pat didn’t like to go out and drink or dance all that much. She had to be careful not to get too lost in the drugs and alcohol. She wanted to stay safe and remember this night.

“Good.” Riley smiled. “Let Tristy try it now, then you should be fine.”

“What—” Before she could finish her thought, Tristy was pressing her lips to Ali’s. Ali’s first instinct was to push Tristy away, but she had to admit that Tristy’s lips were soft. And she smelled like rose petals. Giving in, Ali parted her lips and kissed the girl. It was her first time. If her father ever found out, he would be so pissed! It wasn’t until Tristy pressed closer to Ali that she realized Tristy was naked. When the hell had she taken her clothes off?

“Fuck, that’s hot.” Riley’s voice swirled around her, sounding distant as if he were far away, a detached observer.

But then he stood behind her, his hot, bare chest pressed against her back. She moaned, which made Tristy deepen the kiss. Ali wanted to feel ashamed about what she was doing but she couldn’t. It was all so erotic. So naughty. So unlike her. It was just three people enjoying the most natural instinct humans had, to share and give love and take pleasure, she kept saying to herself. And she loved that! What was there to feel bad about?

Riley pressed his lips to the back of her neck, his hot breath causing a shudder through her body. Then he took her hand and placed it on Tristy’s breast, their hands kneading it, brushing over the nipple to make it hard.

Ali had touched her own breasts so many times, but to actually touch another woman’s—it was weird and mildly shocking to know how different they felt from her own. Tristy moaned, pushing closer to Ali, which caused Ali to be firmly sandwiched between Tristy and Riley.

How did I get here? I shouldn’t be doing this.

Riley stopped kissing her neck long enough to pull another drag of his joint, then he urged Ali’s mouth away from Tristy and toward him. She gladly complied. Not that Tristy was a bad kisser or anything—in fact she was pretty damn good—but Riley was better. It was him she was here for after all. He was what she’d agreed to, not Tristy. She wanted Riley. He crushed his mouth to hers, his tongue and smoke filling her mouth. But she didn’t care.

In front of her, Tristy took Ali’s breasts into her hands and caressed them. Then Ali felt something hot and wet circling her nipples. Tristy’s tongue. Ali’s nipples hardened instantly. She moaned into Riley’s mouth, who slid his hand down the front of her body, stopping only once he reached the soft patch of curls between her legs. She forced herself to close her eyes and just enjoy the pleasure and not worry about where or who it was coming from. It would be easier that way.

Riley easily parted her pussy and dipped a finger inside of her, dragging it out and onto her clit. Ali sucked in a sharp breath.

“Aaah,” she half whimpered, half cried. Tristy continued to lick and suck Ali’s nipples. And Riley’s mouth was still on hers, his kiss growing in intensity with each soft moan she gave. It was sensory overload, heightened by the fact that she was now drunker than when she came here.

“I want you on the bed,” he said, then glanced at Tristy. “You too.”

Nodding, Ali made her way to the bed and lay on her back. Her eyelids felt heavy and her body craved touch. She didn’t care who did the touching, just as long as someone’s hands were on her body. She was totally living in the moment, not caring about what tomorrow would bring.
If this doesn’t take my mind away from Pat, I don’t know if anything will.
