Yet after several minutes, she hadn’t increased her pace. Just continued to slide up and down his cock with a torturously, languid precision.
She was about to make him lose his tenuous hold on his sanity. “Mykal, please,” he rasped. “Fuck me faster.”

She moaned. “I thought you’d never ask.”

It briefly occurred to him that she’d been driving him crazy on purpose, but before he could fully grasp the idea, she slammed her hips down on his and all he could do was feel.
“Oh, damn.” He scooted down the couch so that she would find riding him easier.

Her pleasured cries soon had him on edge as much as her tight pussy. On each downward stroke, she ground her hips against him until his groans were just as loud. “Mykal, you feel s-so-” He broke off with a grunt. She felt so good. He wanted it to make this last.

Then he made the mist
ake of looking between her legs. The sight of his cock, glistening with her moisture, disappearing into her tight pussy was like a punch of lust to his gut. He couldn’t resist the pull any longer. Gripping her ass, he thrust up into her succulent heat even as he brought her hips down so that she was filled with every inch of him.

“Yes, Greg! Oh, yes! Don’t stop!”

Her beautiful breasts bounced before his eyes as he held her still for his
rampant thrusts. He was totally out of control. Suddenly, he couldn’t get deep enough. His orgasm was building much faster than he wanted it to, but he’d be damned if he was coming without taking Mykal along for the ride. Reaching between their bodies, he found her clit with his thumb and stroked it in rapid circles until she cried out and her pussy closed so tightly over his cock he could barely pull it out.

The pleasure was intense. He could feel his
balls drawing up and his cock swelling and knew he was a goner. Growling, he punched his hips upward and let the waves of her orgasm milk him. “Oh, God, Mykal, I love you,” he gasped. The words flowed out of him, as unstoppable as his climax. He suddenly wished that there was nothing between them. He’d never been with a woman without protection before, but somehow doing so with Mykal felt wrong. The condom was an offensive piece of latex stopping him from fully laying claim to his woman. “I love you so damn much!”

Damn!
Though lightheaded in the aftermath, he went rigid with panic. It wasn’t that it wasn’t true. He was head over heels in love with this amazing woman. But it was entirely too soon to be making such a declaration. He’d be lucky if she didn’t grab up her clothes and run screaming from his house.

He bit his lip and prayed that she didn’t hear him or would attribute his wo
rds to the heat of the moment.

Panting, Mykal cupped Greg’s jaw and kissed him.
Her heart swelled with happiness. She knew better than to believe it when a guy told her that he loved her when he was buried balls deep inside her pussy. That didn’t change how happy his words made her. “Greg, you’re so sweet,” she whispered against his mouth. “But you don’t have to say that just because we made love.”

He sighed and lowered his eyes. Long lashes hid his pale blue irises from her. “
I can’t believe I’m going to say this. But I won’t lie to you. I do love you, Mykal. You’re amazing and perfect and I’m so glad I met you.”

She shook her head. Her thighs were screaming at her so she moved over to his side. “Greg, I’m not perfect. I shop too much and I don’t work nearly as hard as I should.”

“You’re
intelligent and kind. You’re loyal to your friends. And you dedicated a lot of time to helping me, a virtual stranger. Not many people would have done that. You’ve never asked me for anything in return. You’re incredibly beautiful, sexy, and classy. You make me feel better about myself than I ever have before.”

She bit her lip and swallowed against the tears clogging her throat. “The feeling is mutual,” she said, her voice thick.
She snuggled into his side and he wrapped his arms around her.

“Mykal?” he asked, his tone hesitant.

“Yeah?”

“Are you on any kind of birth control?”

“No.”

“Oh.”

He sounded so disappointed that she had to stifle a laugh. She ran her hand down his chest and felt him shudder.
“Greg, would you like to come to dinner with me at my parent’s house next Sunday?”

“I’d love to.”

Chapter Eight

Greg sipped his water and surreptitiously glanced at his watch. Didn’t matter. Ben caught him and snorted. “Uh, oh, boys, we better get Greg here home or he’s going to be in trouble with the little lady.”

He ignored Ben’s blatant jealousy. Mykal didn
’t keep him on a leash. She didn’t have to. He enjoyed every minute they had together. She wouldn’t be angry even if he came home so late that all he had the energy to do was climb into bed and crash. Besides, she was having a night out with her friend Tania. Ben had talked him and the guys into eating at a sports bar, something he liked to do occasionally so that he could show himself off to be the cool one in their group. Greg didn’t mind, but he did sometimes wonder if Ben only liked hanging out with them so that he could feel superior.

“I was just wondering if we were ever going to get our food.” The bar was crowded. They’d placed their orders almost a half hour ago. It was a Friday night and some important game was on the television. He didn’t follow sports. Much to his late father’s dismay, he’d never been much of an athlete.
He had the size but not the skill. He’d started gaming to improve his eye-hand coordination, but soon lost interest in participating in actual sports.

“Do you have permission to have a burger and fries?”
He’d actually ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with a double portion of broccoli, but he wasn’t going to give Ben more ammunition.

Jeff ran his hand over his goatee. “Geez, Ben, will you let it go already?”

“Yeah,” Max agreed. “
We came out to have a good time. We should be celebrating that at least one of us has a woman.”

Ben scowled. “
I can get a woman with the snap of my fingers. My problem is that he’s picked up another one just like the last one. She’s already changed his house, his clothes, and his hair. How long do you think it’ll be before she’s forbidding him from seeing us?”

“Mykal is nothing like Daria,” Greg immediately argued.
“She didn’t change anything about me that I wasn’t willing to change. Besides, that was before. That was to win Daria back.”

“Now she’
s sure to make her own demands. That’s what happens when you keep them around on a long-term basis.”

Greg rolled his eyes but fortunately was saved from having to make a comment as their food finally arrived. The server who placed their food on the table was not the same one who’d taken their orders. This girl was younger with a tight t-shirt that strained to hold in an impressive pair of breasts. Greg smirked as Ben’s mouth dropped open.

“Is there anything else I get you guys?” she asked with a friendly smile.

Ben was already giving her his signature stare
despite the fact that she looked like she was barely in her twenties. “Star,” he said, his dark eyes dropping to the pin on her shirt and lingering longer than it took to just read a name. “That’s a beautiful name.”

She gave him a polite smile. “
Thank you. If there’s anything else…?”

“Just your phone number,” he said, pitching his voice low.

“Sorry, I’m taken.” She held up her left hand long enough to display a modest diamond engagement ring.

“Hey, what he doesn’t know won’t hurt him,” Ben replied, clearly undeterred.

With clearly strained patience, she continued,
“If everything looks good, I’ll be going.”

It looks great. Thanks,” Max said quickly. With a relieved nod, she hurried away.

“If you guys weren’t here, I’d be taking off with her already.”

Jeff jammed several fries in his mouth, then asked, “How’s the game coming, Greg? When can we give it a test drive?”

“Maybe a couple of weeks.
” They spent the next few minutes talking about gaming. When the discussion turned to television, Ben interrupted them. He liked gaming, but he hated the science fiction shows that the rest of them watched.

“No geek talk,” he ordered
with a swift glance around. “You guys will embarrass me.” He’d sort of declared himself the unofficial leader of their group. They’d never objected. He did take them to places they wouldn’t have otherwise gotten to experience. Before they began hanging out with Ben, none of them had been in a bar before. Ben was brash where they were all timid. He encouraged them to stand up for themselves. And he didn’t let other people antagonize them.

However, Greg was annoyed that Ben expected them to always accept his directions. It was ironic that Ben should compare Mykal to Daria. He was more like her than Mykal would ever be.
He sneaked another peek at his watch. He wondered when Mykal would be home. Though they spent almost every evening together, she had to go to work in the morning and preferred to sleep in her own bed. He’d yet to work up the courage to ask to stay over.

“Saw that,” Max said with a grin.
His plate was almost empty. For a thin guy, he could really pack away some food.

“You have got to be the luckiest bastard,” Jeff said. “First Daria and now Mykal. How do you do it?”

Greg shrugged. “Right place at the right time.”

“Well, this one’s not going to end any better,” Ben grumbled before emptying his beer bottle.
He cast an eye about and signaled to the waitress. “She’s way out of your league. Girl like that, you’ll be lucky if she even puts out before moving on.”

Greg felt his face go hot and knew that he was probably beet red
. “Ben, you’ve been bitchy since I told you that we were dating. Can’t you just be happy for me?”

“Not when I see you making the same stupid mistake!” Ben waved him off when he would have replied. “S
hh! Star’s on her way over.”

A
group of women passed their table, impeding Star’s progress for a moment. They kept glancing back and giggling. Greg ignored them. Ben occasionally got this reaction from women. That was until he opened his mouth and said something offensive. “More prospects,” he said with relish. “This night just got interesting.”

There was no point in reminding Ben that he
was the one that dragged them out tonight. The rest of them had wanted to stay in and order delivery. It was a given that Ben would always abandon them if he had even the smallest shot of going home with a woman.

Ben placed his order for another beer while managing to flirt simultaneously. When she bought over his beer she gestured to
a table to their left. It was in a dark corner. The women who had recently entered smiled at them and waved when they turned to look. “Those ladies over there were wondering if you gentlemen would like to join them.”

Ben’s answer was swift. “Hell, yes.” Grabbing his drink, he stood.

Max and Jeff were quick to follow. Greg groaned. He saw his chances of going home early waning fast. “Guys, come on,” he protested. “We haven’t even finished eating.”

Greg, that’s fine if you’re not interested,” Jeff said. “You’ve got a girl.”

“Yeah,” Max agreed. “Come help us.”

He immediately felt guilty
as he stared up at Max and Jeff. His friends had readily accepted him back into their group after practically a year of neglect. This was the least he could do for them. Well, he wasn’t sure of how much assistance he could be. Talking to women wasn’t his forte. And if Ben hadn’t been able to set them up with anyone, he doubted he wouldn’t be able to succeed. But he could offer them his support in the form of his presence.

“Sorry, dudes.” He gathered his plate and glass and followed.

Greg wondered at the picture that they presented
as they ambled over. They were all wearing gaming t-shirts. Mykal had divested his closet of bowling shirts and every flowered shirt he owned, but she’d let him keep his tees. They were looser now about the waist but still stretched over his shoulders. Jeff was rather short and stocky, chubbier than Greg had been before Mykal whipped him into shape. His curly blond hair was an unruly mop. Max was almost his height and skinny as a whip despite his solid diet of pizza, fried foods, and beer. But he had a knack for making people laugh. He was dark skinned and kept his hair cropped very short. Both were decent guys but they were practically struck mute by the fairer sex.

Ben, the first to arrive at the women’s table pointed at them each in turn and introduced them. Then he turned his attention to the women. “This is Meg,” he said, throwing his arm around her thin shoulders. It was a clear signal that she was the one he was interested in pursuing.
“These are her friends, Annalise, Avery, and Sasha.” All of the women were lovely and definitely not the type of women that were ever interested in a bunch of guys like them. Greg wondered why they asked them to come over. Usually when a woman was interested in Ben, she simply sent him a drink. They didn’t want the rest of their group anywhere in the vicinity of them—as if their geekdom was a communicable disease.

Ben dragged over another table and quickly nabbed a seat next to Meg. They all pulled up chairs. After an initial nod of greeting, Greg tried to concentrate on his food, but often found himself
drawn into the conversation. He attempted to turn the attention over to Max and Jeff as often as he could, but the women refused to take the bait. For some reason, Ben appeared more annoyed by this than Max or Jeff.
