As Jake slid deep inside Victoria she cried out again.  Wasn’t it enough he had driven her half crazy with his fingers as she had exploded against them?  How was she to control herself now when she hadn’t stopped to breathe before he was gently pushing his rock hardness inside her touching every single sensitive nerve ending she had.  She wondered when this blissfully torturous feeling would end, and she never wanted it to!  As the ecstasy subsided she felt the heat and fullness of Jake, strong and hard inside her.  She steadied her legs each side of him and moved rhythmically on top of him feeling each blissful movement.  She felt Jake push her robe aside and she let it fall to the floor as his hands explored her naked skin and her breasts.

Jake didn’t say a word, he wasn’t able to.  All he could do was marvel in the beautiful feeling of being deep inside Victoria as she rode him whilst his hands smoothed their way across her round breasts and curvy behind.  Finally he couldn’t take it anymore, he couldn’t hold himself back and he pulled Victoria in close as he felt her move deeper one last time and then he let himself go and lost himself into the depth of her as he called out her name.

Victoria relaxed against Jake as his breathing began to slow.  He chuckled gently against her shoulder but still he made no effort to remove himself from her.  He didn’t know what had gotten into him, he’d had incredible sex before, and with some of the most beautiful women in the world, but this was different.  All he knew was, that right now, he was in heaven and he felt amazing!

After Victoria and Jake took showers and spent most of the evening talking and watching a movie, they pulled chairs up to the huge apartment window.  Jake wore grey jersey jogging bottoms and a t-shirt whilst Victoria wore one of his baggy sweater jumpers and a pair of fluffy gym socks, as Jake pointed out various landmarks in the light-speckled Miami night sky.  Victoria stretched and looked at her watch, it was late.

“Would you mind calling me a taxi whilst I go and get dressed.”  She said standing up about to head off to the bedroom to retrieve her clothes.  She knew she should have dressed after her shower, but since Jake had been waiting at the bathroom door with one of his jumpers for her it seemed like a good idea just to throw that on instead.

“Why, where do you want to go?”  Jake said as he caught her hand and entwined his fingers with hers.  He had no idea of the time but he knew it must be late, he was nice and comfortable and didn’t really want to go anywhere else.

“Home.  Well back to my hotel.”  She laughed thinking that she wasn’t about to hit the Miami club scene, she was far too chilled-out for that.

“Don’t go.  Stay here with me tonight.”

“Oh.”

“What?”  Jake asked pulling her gently closer to him.  “You don’t want to stay here tonight?” he asked looking into her eyes.

“No it’s not that.  To be honest I hadn’t even thought about it.  It’s just that I don’t have anything with me, for tomorrow.”

“Don’t worry about that, I can have anything you want ready and waiting for you when you wake up.”

“No don’t worry, that’s fine, I’m sure I’ll manage.”  She laughed imagining half a boutique arriving to Jake’s apartment in the early hours of the morning if she wasn’t careful, she wouldn’t put it past him.  “But are you sure you want me to stay?”

He nodded his head, he had never been more sure of anything in his life.  “Very sure.”

“Okay.”  Victoria smiled thinking she didn’t want tonight to end either.

“Let’s go to bed.” Jake said standing up taking her hand and kissing it.

Victoria raised her eyebrow and wasn’t quite sure what ‘bed’ was supposed to mean, but right now as tempting as another tryst on the fluffy duvet was, she really liked the idea of relaxing snuggled up in the huge bed with Jake.

Jake laughed and hugged Victoria in close.  “Okay I rather hope I am good, but I am afraid I am not that good.  Three times in one day could well be pushing it just a bit.  How about we go and cosy up to sleep.”

“That sounds good to me.”  Victoria nodded against him and smiled into his neck.

CHAPTER EIGHT

Victoria woke to the smell of bacon and something sweet, she wasn’t quite sure what it was but it certainly smelt good.  She rolled over in Jake’s bed and realised he wasn’t there anymore - they had spent the night sleeping as close to each other as possible, sometimes with Victoria in Jake’s arms and other times snuggled up to the back of one another.  She looked around the bedroom and to the door as it opened.

“You’re supposed to be asleep.  I wanted to surprise you with breakfast in bed.”  Jake said as he walked in through the door with a tray in his hands.

Victoria smiled and patted the fluffy bed clothes in front of her as Jake put the tray down in the middle of the bed and sat down opposite her.  He was already dressed in a simple t-shirt and light blue jeans, but his feet were still bare and he looked totally relaxed.

“So we have bacon and eggs with pancake and maple syrup, or fruit if you prefer.  I didn’t know what you like for breakfast.”

“Wow this all looks great.”  Victoria said taking one of the small plates from the tray and putting some of the bacon and pancakes from their mini buffet onto it.  “I’ll have a little of everything.”  She said eyeing the bowl of colourful freshly chopped fruit thinking that would be next.  “You made me hungry.”

“Same here.”  Jake smiled as he put some food on his own plate and started to eat.  Noticing Victoria was struggling to keep the duvet up to cover her naked body he put down his fork, “Wait a minute,” he said as he reached across the bed to a drawer next to it and pulled out a t-shirt.  “Put this on for now, but in a few minutes there will be a delivery coming for you.”

She took the t-shirt and slipped it over her head and looked at Jake smiling.  “What have you done?”

“Nothing much, but I’ve just arranged to have a few items delivered for you, just so you don’t have to rush back to your hotel if you don’t want.”

“That’s very thoughtful of you, thank you.”

“My pleasure.”  He said and Victoria thought she saw a hint of a blush cross his cheeks.

“So is this the Jake Cumberland treatment?” She asked trying not to sound like she was prying - part of her didn’t want to know too much about the other woman who had been in his bed, but then there was that other part of her that couldn’t help being curious.

“What do you mean?”  He asked in between bites, he was enjoying his food and he was totally relaxed and happy sitting on his bed, with Victoria in it, eating breakfast.

“Breakfast in your bed and presents the morning after.”

He paused and looked at Victoria, he thought they had got past this - he thought she realised he wasn’t all the papers made him out to be - a charismatic womaniser.  But then again he couldn’t blame her since he was the only one who really knew the truth about his life and the woman he had been with – and not one of them had stayed in this bed, Victoria was the first, and he couldn’t remember when he had last brought a woman breakfast in bed, or even wanted to.  The doorbell rang and Jake put down his fork.  Getting up from the bed he called over his shoulder, “This may surprise you but you are the only woman who has slept in this bed or stayed in my apartment.  Only you Victoria.”  And then he left the room to answer the door.

Victoria sat still in Jake’s bed thinking about what he said.  She had been the only woman to stay in this bed.  He had been living there for at least four or five years and he hadn’t had another woman stay over in his apartment or sleep in this bed in all that time.  She whistled under her breath.  She certainly knew Jake had been linked to a lot of high profile women, and amazingly beautiful ones in that time, but he hadn’t brought any of them back to his place!  She was sure it wasn’t because they wouldn’t like it, it was the lap of luxury and had views to die for, so it had to be something else.  And then it dawned on her - Jake hadn’t wanted to bring another woman back there, but he had her!

“Vicky, come on in here.”  Jake called breaking into her thoughts and Victoria slid out of his bed careful not to knock the remainder of the food over.  She made her way into the living room pulling the hem of her t-shirt down to cover her bare bottom.  She pushed her hair back with one hand and then paused as she saw the selection of bags and boxes placed around the living room, on the coffee table and sofa.

“Your delivery is here.  I hope you like it.

“Jake, it’s not even nine o’clock on Saturday morning, none of the shops are open yet.  How did you get this?”

Jake laughed, his concierge could get anything at any time, legal or not.  A few pieces of clothing and bath products were probably one of the easiest requests he had.  “If you don’t like what’s in here we can go and buy some other stuff when the shops open, anything you want, but I hope this will be alright until then?  I hope you don’t mind but I sneaked a look at your clothes when you were asleep to find your size, so they should fit you.”

“Okay?  Jake this is fantastic!”  She smiled so wide her mouth almost hurt.

Jake watched as Victoria made her way along the bags on the sofa and pulled out a selection of Ralph Lauren jeans, shirts and t-shirts.  She reached into another bag and pulled out some pretty pants and matching bras and she looked at him with a raised eyebrow over her shoulder and saw him laugh.

“You have thought of everything haven’t you?”

“I hope so.”  He motioned for her to open the other boxes on the table.

Victoria turned to the cluster of small boxes wrapped in pretty cream and peach coloured paper first, and gasped as she opened them.  She picked each moisturising, bath cream and eye gel up, one by one.  She had everything she needed for about a month, and this was a bigger range of products than she generally used anyway.  She turned to the next box and opened it to find a selection of make-up in every colour she could imagine, including a natural coloured tinted moisturiser.”

“Oh my goodness, you and your ordering service has been very thorough.”

Jake smiled, he was sitting back happily watching her open her packages.  It made him happy to see her happy, and hopefully this way Victoria would be in no hurry to run off anywhere this morning, unless she actually wanted to.

Finally Victoria made her way to the last two boxes and pulled the tops off them to reveal a pair of Ralph Lauren deck shoes and a pair of stunning black strappy sandals.

“Jake, my shoes are still clean, they don’t need washing.”  Victoria joked as she looked appreciatively at him.

“Yes I know but if everything else is new then why not new shoes as well.”

“Of course!”  Victoria laughed as she shrugged feeling like she was in heaven.  Then she turned more serious for a moment and said “Thank you.”

“It was nothing.”

“Rubbish, it is very thoughtful and I really appreciate it.”  She said.

Jake took Victoria by her hand again, “Come on let’s finish our breakfast and then you can try out your new shower gels and we can go out and have some fun together.”

“That sounds perfect.”  She said as she followed Jake back into the bedroom.

Jake and Victoria spent all day Saturday driving around Miami, stopping off for lunch and frozen yoghurt, followed by a trip to the cinema and then dinner whilst watching the sun go down over South Beach.  Victoria didn’t make it back to her hotel that night either - she and Jake spent the night enjoying each other’s bodies whilst making passionate love together, finally falling asleep content in Jake’s bed.

Jake woke up on Sunday morning to find the bed empty next to him.  He looked across to the en-suite but the door was open and Victoria wasn’t in there.  Slipping out the bed he threw on a pair of pyjama bottoms from the drawer next to him and walked barefooted out of the bedroom and followed the smell of delicious food through to the kitchen.

Jake stood at the kitchen door as he watched Victoria move between the refrigerator and the hob expertly chopping and cooking something which smelt heavenly.  It wasn’t just the smell of the food that pleased Jake, he was enjoying watching Victoria in the pyjama top he gave her yesterday morning which matched the pyjama bottoms he was wearing now, along with a pair of small white pants from her delivery and nothing else.  She looked right in his kitchen, barely dressed with her red hair roughly clipped back and trestles escaping down her back.

Slowly Jake walked into the kitchen and smiled as Victoria looked over her shoulder briefly giving him the sweetest smile he had ever seen.  He sidled up behind her as she stood in front of the hob and slid his arms around her waist letting his hands slip their way under her t-shirt as he pulled her back against him letting her feel the full effect she was having on him.

Victoria let go of the pan handle for a moment, she hadn’t put the eggs into the omelette mixture yet and if she turned the heat down she would just have time to turn around and give Jake the good morning kiss she had been waiting for since she woke up this morning.

“Good morning.”  Jake whispered into her ear.

Victoria tilted her head back as his soft deep words penetrated through her and Jake slipped his hands higher finding her rounded breast ready and waiting for him.  Victoria’s nipples hardened the second his fingers touched them and she arched her body against Jake’s, pushing herself up against his hardness.  She reached across to turn the hob off, and turned around in Jake’s arms letting her lips find his.

Jake’s hands moved across Victoria’s naked skin under his t-shirt and his mouth drank hers in.  He kissed her as if it was their first and last kiss all rolled into one, and then he kissed her some more.

“I think breakfast can wait.”  Jake said between kisses which he trailed down Victoria’s neck.

“Aren’t you hungry?”  She purred as she let her hand slide down his body and she found him hard and hot.

Jake groaned and took her head in his hands as he looked into Victoria’s dark brown eyes, she smiled playfully.

“Yes I’m hungry for food, but not half as hungry as I am for you.”

“Oh good.”  She said as she pushed away from Jake and ran out of the kitchen as he ran after her into the bedroom where they made deep sensual love together on the bed.

After a wonderful lazy Sunday afternoon spent on the beach, swimming, playing ball and relaxing under the sun, Jake and Victoria ate dinner at a little restaurant on the promenade.  Neither of them had spoken about it all day but they both knew with Monday morning looming they would be returning to work and everything would be very different to their carefree weekend of eating, relaxing and making love.

“I think I should go back to my hotel tonight.”  Victoria said.  It had been more than nice staying at Jake’s for the last two nights, but she didn’t want everyone talking at work and for Jake to look like a hypocrite, even if he wasn’t technically her actual boss.

Jake looked at her seriously, he didn’t want Victoria to go back to her hotel but he knew she was making sense, so he nodded.  He took a sip of his beer and decided to say what had been on his mind for the last few hours.  “Victoria, I want to continue seeing you like this.  I don’t want this to be the end of us, and I want to spend more time with you.”

Victoria smiled widely, she did too.  In fact she was surprised how much she wanted to spend more time with Jake and she nodded.

“How about we keep this low-key at work but we go out and spend time together outside of work?”

“I would like that.  We have a few promotional events on this week so I’m busy some evenings,”

“Me too, I have a couple of work dinners.”  Jake nodded

“But I am sure we can find some time.”   She said thoughtfully aware that she didn’t have much time left in Miami, and then what?

Jake looked at Victoria seeing she was deep in thought, “It’s okay, I know what you’re thinking and it will be okay.”

“What?”  She looked back to Jake.  “What am I thinking?”

“That you are going back to London soon.  But we will work it out, I promise.  You will be working on my campaigns and I will be going between London and Miami for the next few months at least while we get the new products selling over there.  It won’t be easy but it will be alright, we can make it work if we want to.”

She nodded again, yes she did want to.

Monday at work kept Victoria busy and she had only seen Jake in passing in the office, but he still managed to sneak in a quick crafty kiss when no one was looking and tell her how empty his bed felt this morning.  She smiled and playfully warned him to behave himself in work-time and sent him off with a swift squeeze to his firm muscly buttocks and a wicked look in her eyes.  Jake laughed.

That evening Jake was busy with a business dinner, which as far as Victoria was concerned was a good thing.  She realised she needed a bit of time alone to think about things.  As much as she had enjoyed being with Jake all weekend, she needed some time to take everything in – how she felt about Jake, how he made her feel and how their incredible love making moved her to her core! It was only a month ago she thought she would be spending the rest of her life with another man, with Mark.  And a month ago, no just a couple of weeks ago, she had thought she was in love with Mark, but now she wasn’t so sure if that was the truth.  She thought she was in love with Mark, but the way he touched her and made her feel when they made love didn’t even compare to how she felt when Jake touched her.  Yes it had been pleasant and enjoyable having sex with Mark but it had never been soul-deeply exploding like it was with Jake.  It was making her rethink everything about her relationship with Mark.  As she sat alone on the beach near her hotel with her can of diet coke in hand and pack of potato chips by her side, she watched as the dark night sky drew in from the sea threatening to cover the pretty pink sunset, and realised she wasn’t in love with Mark anymore.  Yes she was hurt by him, very hurt and betrayed, but she didn’t think that deep-down feeling of being totally and utterly in love with Mark had been there for a long time, and whilst Mark should never have betrayed her the way he did she now knew that they should never have been getting married.  Victoria took another crisp from her packet and bit it, and then took out her mobile phone.
