Finally, his kisses started upward again. When even Molly sat down, I knew she was feeling it all over again. Meanwhile, I could only imagine what it must have been like to feel his lips trail my own arousal over my stomach, and through the valley between my breasts.

“Ah!” We heard her gasp on the video and knew he was inside her. Her legs opened as far as possible to give him all the room he could have wanted to fuck her. Back and forth, back and forth he moved over her.

Every single thrust made her grunt. Then, suddenly, she let out a scream worthy of a horror movie.

“I never came like that before,” she confessed.

Neither had I, but God, how I hoped I would someday!

The screen flickered twice again. Then, the picture was perfectly clear and The Phantom had vanished. The only thing to see was Molly naked and panting as her body shook in aftershock.

I turned to Beth. “Do you believe me now?”

For the first time in all the years I had known her, she hadn’t pushed her glasses up when they had slipped down her nose. “I-I don’t know what to say,” she stuttered.

Chapter Seventeen

The bedroom was completely black. There wasn’t even a moon outside to lend its glow through my window. My fingers played between my legs while the images of Molly’s video played in my head for the two thousandth time. The two middle ones slipped inside my body while the others tried to squeeze the full outer lips of my pussy tighter against my penetrators. My hips rocked up and down, up and down, gently meeting my hand but it was pointless. Even the thumb making tiny circles around my clit couldn’t seem to get the job done. Yes, it felt good, amazing even. I just couldn’t get
there.

“Ah!” I jump when something smooth and cool brushed the back of my hand. Slowly, it traveled up, first to my wrist, and then to my forearm. By the time it finally reached my elbow, I was shivering.

Then, up my arm... My shoulder...

Whatever it was, it grazed across my shoulder to my neck. Then, I heard a voice.

“Hello, Sasha.”

My pussy tightened. There was only one man in the entire world that could make a woman’s body do that. “I-is that really you?” I asked.

There was that chuckle, the one every woman I had interviewed described, that same one on the video. “It’s me.”

At last, The Phantom had come!

That something cool brushed back and forth, back and forth across the flesh of my throat. “Put your hands above your head,” he commanded.

I obeyed without a word. Immediately, I felt that something cool bind my wrists together. It must have been the same band of silk Mary and Esmeralda had said he used on them. Oh God, what else did it mean I was in for? Anal?

When he didn’t roll me over, I knew my ass was safe. Instead, I got gentle kisses down the same path the silk had taken to my shoulder.

“Ooh!” I squealed when I felt a little nip on the tip of my right breast as my nipple stretched between his teeth.

Neither his head nor his jaw moved after that, but a hand began to slide across my belly. It traveled up over my ribs and up the mound of flesh on the other side. Fingers walked across my skin until they found the very edge of my other pink nub.

There was nothing more for the longest time, so much nothing that just waiting took my breath away. Then, a sweet pain. Fingers pinched and teeth bit my nipples at exactly the same time. Oh God, it was enough to make my back arch and cause a surge of incredible pleasure between my legs! It took me so close to the fucking edge that my body tightened in preparation for orgasm.

“More!” I screamed.

Those pinching fingers twisted and...

Beep! Beep! Beep!

My eyes popped open. Damn it! It was just another dream. I must have fallen asleep while typing on my article.

Chapter Eighteen

A few weeks later, I was putting the final touches on my article. In less than two months, I had collected confessions from almost twenty women and found an entire folder worth of proof he had been there all throughout history. All I had to do was print it out and turn it into Marion the next morning. I was actually humming with happiness. In just a matter of weeks, every single one of
Belle
’s readers would know about The Phantom.

Suddenly, I heard the front door slam. “What the fuck is wrong with you?” Geoff screamed from the next room.

“Huh?” was all I could say when he stormed into the kitchen.

He threw something down on the table. When I realized what it was, I froze. There, on the cover of the newest issue of
Sappho
magazine, was a picture of topless me kissing topless Jade. “Is this why our sex life sucks?” Geoff demanded.

I was too stunned to say anything. “Do you even like men?” He asked angrily.

“O-of course I do,” I stuttered.

He huffed. “Somehow I just don’t believe that. You certainly never come with me!”

I was tempted to say that it was hard to come with him when he never even got it in me, but even if I could have gotten the words out, I wasn’t given a chance. Geoff’s tirade just went on and on.

‘’Are you fucking that little four-eyed bitch friend of yours, too? Is that why she doesn’t like me? Huh? Is she jealous that you live with me instead of her?”

I may not have been able to speak, but I could move. My hand flew up and slapped the bastard.

He didn’t even flinch. Geoff just laughed, and then leaned in close. “I’m through,” he said. “You can have your fucking Phantom, or your girlfriends. I don’t care which. Good luck finding someone to be as good to you as I was.”

Just like that, he turned around and left me standing there in the kitchen as he walked out. “I’ll come back later for my games and the TV,” were his last words to me.

Chapter Nineteen

It all happened so very, very fast. Our years together were over in a single minute. It actually took me longer than that to find the ability to speak again. Even then, the voice that came out when I called Beth was shaky.

Now, we were completely out of place at a bar that matched my mood. It was dirty, dark, and depressing. I swear the only lights at all in the place where the neon beer signs and the two bare bulbs over the pool table where a couple of bikers were playing. There weren’t even booths for people to sit, just un-sanded wooden chairs, and giant spools for tables.

I barely noticed when Beth sat down across from me and slid a shot of tequila my way. I just kept staring past her. “I didn’t even get a chance to explain or try to defend myself,” I said, still in shock.

“I never could stand Geoff anyway. You are so much better off without him,” I heard her say from somewhere.

I threw my head back and poured that amber, nasty drink down my throat. “Yeck!” I grunted and shook my head with my tongue hanging out of my mouth to get rid of the taste. “Another!” I yelled at the barkeep in the stained sleeveless shirt.

Beth reached across and grabbed my hand. “Honey, talk to me.”

“I don’t want to talk. I just want to get drunk.”

“Come on. You were with the prick for seven years. I have no idea why, but you were.”

“Seven and a half,” I corrected.

“Whatever, it was way too long.”

My eyes rolled. “I know you always hated him, but he had some good qualities you never saw.”

Beth’s eyebrows arched behind her glasses. “I will give you a million dollars, a Porsche, and buy you a mansion right now if you can name one.”

My mouth opened, but shut a second later. The bar was so quiet that the clack of the pool balls seemed to echo. Finally, the bartender brought me my drink. Immediately, I drank it down. “Yeck!” I said again.

“Okay,” my best friend said after what seemed like an eternity had passed. “Now that we have the list of good things out of the way, should we list the bad, see which is longer?”

I started to open my mouth again, but had to shut it.

“So, bad list. He didn’t have a job, never got off the couch to so much as take out the garbage. While you were at work, he played video games, which he spent your money on by the way. His favorite movie involved a guy having sex with an apple pie, rap was all he listened to. Sasha, the guy took more time getting ready than you do! He’s a pothead, every third word out of his mouth he cussed. You constantly complained to me about how selfish he was in bed. I was there that night he called you a bitch to make his friends laugh. Honey, I’d go on but I’m out of fingers!”

She was right. All ten were raised. Suddenly, I felt that beginning sting of tears. My voice wasn’t even strong enough to ask for another shot. I could only motion for the bartender to bring it.

“I don’t even know why you were ever with him the first place,” she added.

I shrugged. “He came along just after that bad break up with Chris, and before I knew it almost eight years were gone. I got used to him, and I guess it was just easier to stay together than go through another bad breakup.”

“Easy, or not, he was horrible for you! You should have broken up years ago! Who knows where you’d be if you didn’t have him holding you back all this time”

I glared at her. “Aren’t you supposed to be comforting me?”

“Believe me honey, by the time this night is over and you realize how much better off you are, you’ll be comforted. Sasha, you were so, so happy to be able to do this article and he was everything but supportive! All because he was threatened by a man that doesn’t even exist.”

“You’re right.” When I blinked, hot tears ran down my cheeks. “I do still have The Phantom, don’t I? Even if he’s not real to you, he’s real to me. The world just can’t give us men like Geoff and not give us him!”

My best friend pushed her glasses up her nose. “Well, I can’t argue with that.”

“And I’m going to prove it, to you and every other woman out there!”

Beth smiled at me. “See? You’re feeling better already!”

Chapter Twenty

I was so drunk when we left the bar, Beth wouldn’t let me ride up the elevator alone. I couldn’t even get my keys in the lock. When I dropped them, I actually growled.

“Ssh!” Beth giggled. “Your neighbors are probably asleep!”

Finally, I got my apartment door open and threw my keys in the bowl. I reached for the light switch, but then...

“Don’t turn those on.”

The deep voice made me jump. “Who’s there?”

The only answer was a deep chuckle.

I groaned, and rolled my eyes. “Geoff, if that’s you, just get out now. You can get your things in the morning.”

“It’s not him.” I heard Beth’s shocked whisper beside me. “The Phantom... He’s come back!”

“What do you mean, ‘back’?”

There was another laugh from somewhere in the room. “Didn’t Beth tell you? I took her virginity thirteen years ago.”

“No!” I said as I turned to her. “You said you didn’t believe in him. How could you not tell me? It would have been perfect for my article.”

“I-I thought I dreamed it all,” she tried to explain. “The man that night said he would return. All these years, he never did.”

I gasped when something touched my cheek. “We can talk about all of that later,” The Phantom said, as his finger traced the line of my jaw. “Right now, I have other things in mind for the three of us.”

A hand grabbed mine and pulled me further into the apartment. Beth matched me step for step as he guided us to my bedroom. There, he pushed us to our knees. “Take off your tops,” he told us.

I never knew my dream lover would be so commanding. I liked it.

“Good girls,” The Phantom said as we obeyed.

Oh, I felt so special when the tip of his cock pressed against my lips. In all those stories I’d heard, not one woman said she had been allowed to take him in her mouth. He had been in their pussies, and even in one woman’s ass, but never the mouth. Now, here he was, moving back and forth over my tongue.

How can I describe the taste of him; warm mint, maybe? It may have been a dirty act, but he was going to leave my mouth feeling as if I had just brushed my teeth. With every in and out, his knees brushed my bare breasts. My nipples hardened just a little more with each subtle touch. I couldn’t stop myself from reaching up and rolling them between my fingers until a sigh escaped from around the flesh in my mouth.

I actually whined when he took himself away. “Mmm...” I heard Beth moan beside me and I knew it was her turn to taste.

My pussy pulsed below as I listened to the sounds of her sucking his cock. It only inspired me to pinch and twist the tips of my breasts harder. Then, just as I caught the breath I lost while he was in my mouth, The Phantom put himself back. My ghostly lover pushed his penis even deeper until I felt him at the back of my throat.

It was as if The Phantom’s return to Beth unlocked her true sensuality. She pulled my hand away from my chest and replaced it with her lips. Oh, her teeth were so much better than my fingers! They sank deeper, and their edges caused a sting I could feel even in my panties. It must have been her hand, too, that moved down my bare back. I felt the clasp of my skirt open, but the zipper was only able to lower an inch in my kneeling position.

“On the bed, both of you,” The Phantom commanded us. “And Beth, strip your friend.”

She pushed her glasses up her nose and I had to giggle. Even during sex, she still had that habit.

Without a word she obeyed. I lay back as she took off my heels and dropped them to the floor. Then, skirt and panties disappeared together, and just like that I was bared for his use.

Beth couldn’t resist tasting me. She dipped down and traced the lips of my cunt with her tongue. “You’re so wet. Ah!”

My best friend jumped when The Phantom slapped her ass. “Did I tell you to do that?” he asked.

“No,” she answered.

“Then don’t.”

It startled me how quickly she was pushed out of the way. The bed sank under the weight of a third person. I felt the warm head of his cock brush up the inside of my left thigh as he slowly moved closer and closer to my ready pussy. Finally, he touched me there, and the tip of him parted my lower lips.
