“Bobby, how did it go?”  David asked.

“Well I got a lot of information but I’m not done yet.  Who’s this?”

“This is Silvia Odio.”  David replied.

Silvia smiled politely.

“Hi Silvia it’s nice to meet you.  Listen I have to go but look through this folder, it’s got everything we need to know.”  Faraday walked towards Bobby and took the folder.

“See you all later.”  Bobby said as he hobbled back out of the condo.  Bobby glanced at his watch and saw that it was already 19:00.  As he got back into the car he asked.

“So where’s the party?”

“Clint Murchison’s house.”

Chapter 59

As Garrett drove up the driveway towards Clint Murchison’s mansion, Bobby could not believe what was happening.

“Garrett are you sure we can just walk in here?”

“We will not be staying long.  I was invited but I just wanted you to see the guests.”

“Why?”  Bobby asked nervously.

“Because these are the people that can get things done.  These are the people that could plot the assassination of a President and get away with it.”

“So Clint Murchison is behind it?”  Bobby asked.

“He’s one of a few interested parties.  As you know he is an Oil Billionaire and a native Texan.  As such he is very good friends with the most powerful man in Dallas.”

“You mean Lyndon Johnson?”

“Exactly!  But it’s not just them who I expect to see in here.  We should also have J. Edgar Hoover, Richard Nixon, George Bush Senior, Allan Dulles, Howard Hunt, Governor Connally and quite a few others.”

Garrett parked the car and they got out as quickly as they could.  As they walked towards the front door Garrett spoke.  “Okay so we are having one drink and then we leave.”

“But what is the point of this?  They won’t tell us they are plotting this.”

Garrett turned towards Bobby and stopped in his tracks.  “Do you have any idea how powerful these men are?  Do you think they will even notice us?  These are the most powerful men in the United States and they are here to celebrate the fact that tomorrow they will have consolidated their power by killing one of the few men in the country that could do something to damage it.  Now just stick by me, we’ll get a drink and scan the room then get out of here.”

“Okay.”  Bobby replied.  He could feel his heart pounding against his chest.

As they entered the mansion Bobby was stunned.  This place is like a hotel he thought.  There were rooms leading off in every direction.  He followed Garrett into one of the rooms where noise was coming from.  The room was bigger than Bobby’s entire condo.  He scanned the room looking for the rich and famous but he didn’t see anyone he recognised.  Garrett walked over to a bar in the corner of the room and ordered two Old Fashioned cocktails. He handed Bobby one and he took a sip.  It was the best thing he had ever tasted.  He glanced towards Garrett who looked worried.

“Where are they?”

“Do you not recognise anyone either?”  Bobby asked.

“No I don’t.  But I don’t understand they should be here.”

As Garrett finished speaking a procession of the rich and powerful men present entered the room.  Garrett was providing running commentary as they walked in.

“Jesus!  I was right.  Look that’s Richard Nixon and there right behind him is George Bush Senior, he’s an oil billionaire and he’s high up in the CIA.  His father made millions selling raw materials to Adolf Hitler during World War Two.  Okay and right behind him we have Governor Connally and the Mayor Earl Cabell.  Beside Earl is his brother Charles Cabell who JFK sacked from the CIA after the Bay of Pigs.  Next there he is that’s Allen Dulles also fired after the Bay of Pigs.  He’s talking to Howard Hunt who is a CIA agent.  Behind them that’s”

“William Harvey.”  Bobby interjected.

“You know him?”  Garrett replied.

“I saw him at Ruby’s club.”

“Ah I see.  Oh and there is Larry Bell, the owner of Bell Helicopter.  They provide the helicopters for the US military.  Beside him is Michael Paine, also at Bell Helicopter, but more importantly his wife lives with Oswald’s wife and they got him the job at the School Book Depository.  Speak of the devil that is Harold Byrd he owns the School Book Depository.  Right those two guys who just came in that’s Sid Richardson and Haroldson Hunt they are oil billionaires too.  Okay next that is our host Clint Murchison.  Right the guy with the glasses that is Jesse Curry, the Chief of Police in Dallas.  Oh my God here he is the Vice President.”

Garrett stopped speaking as Lyndon Johnson entered the room.  He headed straight for them.  Bobby’s heart was in his mouth.  Johnson walked straight passed them to a blonde woman that was standing behind.  He had a huge smile on his face.  They listened in to the conversation.

“What’s with you Lyndon?  What’s the grin for?”  She asked.

“After tomorrow those Kennedy sons of bitches will never embarrass me again!”  He growled.

Oh my God, Bobby mouthed.  “We should leave.”  Bobby stated.

“Oh my God!”  Garrett replied.  He was staring at the doorway.

“What?”  Bobby asked.

“We have to leave.  Come on!”  Bobby hastily followed Garrett towards the front door.  He was walking as fast as his hip would allow.  As he reached the hallway he saw three people he recognized.  J. Edgar Hoover, Jack Ruby and Gail Raven were standing talking.  Bobby avoided eye contact and followed Garrett out to the car.  As soon as they had closed the doors, Garrett had the ignition on.  He proceeded along the long driveway as fast as he could.

“That was unbelievable.  Lyndon Johnson is the one behind the plot.”

“Did you not notice who else was there?”  Garrett replied.

“Um who do you mean?”

“David Rockefeller.”

“What the banker, so what?”

“You think he’s just a banker?  Don’t be so naive.”  Garrett was accelerating as much as the car would allow.

“What do you mean?”

“He is the most powerful man in the world bar none.  He owns the Federal Reserve.”

“What?  Surely the US government owns the Federal Reserve.”

“It should Bobby.  I agree with that but it doesn’t.  Whenever the US Government wants to spend more money than they bring in, which let’s face it happens all the time they have to go to the Federal Reserve for money.”

“Okay so where does the money come from?”  Bobby asked.  He was confused enough already by the events of the night.

“The Federal Reserve just prints the money.  So the US Government is just borrowing that money from the Federal Reserve.”

“So wait if they are just borrowing the money from the Federal Reserve, how can they ever pay that back when the Federal Reserve creates the money?”

“They can’t Bobby!  To pay back the loan they have to borrow more money from the Federal Reserve.  To do this they also have to pay back interest.  America can never be free from debt because all of the US Dollars actually belong to the Federal Reserve.”

“That’s insane!”

“I know that’s why we have to pay income tax.  The Federal Reserve and Income Tax both came into existence in 1913, because of that we will never be free from debt.  You know I’ve heard rumours that Lincoln was assassinated by the banks.”

Bobby’s heart sunk.  “That can’t be true.  It was John Wilkes Booth that shot him.”

“Bobby think about everything we have discussed tonight, John Wilkes Booth could easily have been the lone nut of the 1860’s just like Lee Harvey Oswald is the lone nut of the 1960’s.”

“Okay so why would the bankers have killed Lincoln?”

“Well during the Civil War Lincoln needed money to fund the war effort.  You know to pay soldiers buy weapons stuff like that.”

“Okay.”

“So he had to go to the banks.  He and his secretary who ironically was a man named Kennedy went to the New York Treasury to apply for a loan.  They were accepted for a loan but the interest they would be charged was 36%.  Lincoln refused and then approached his friend Colonel Dick Taylor for help.  He suggested that they get Congress to pass a bill authorising the printing of full legal tender treasury notes.  That would allow Lincoln to pay his soldiers without having to take out a loan.  These notes would be as good as any other notes as Congress has the right to do this.  It says so in the Constitution.

Lincoln went ahead and printed $450 million dollars.  This ended up working so well that Lincoln was considering adopting this method permanently.  If this had happened the world would be a very different place today.  America would be able to create money at no cost.  They would be able to pay off all their debts.  It would have become the most prosperous nation in the history of this planet.  This would have been great for everyone except the banks as it would end their racket of stealing the county’s credit and charging an interest for money.  In 1863 Lincoln had almost won the war but he needed more money.  Congress refused to give him the authority to print more.  Instead they passed the National Bank Act.  This essentially established National Banks and it meant that there was only one currency in circulation at a time, rather than different notes printed by various banks being in circulation.  From this point on all money was issued interest-bearing from the privately owned banks.

Lincoln was furious apparently he once said “I have two great enemies the Southern Armies in front of me and the bankers to the rear.  And of the two, the bankers are my greatest foe.”  Lincoln was fighting a war on two fronts.  Once he had defeated the Southern Armies he would have turned his attention to the banks.  Unfortunately he was killed five days after he won the Civil War.  Then in 1913 they passed the Federal Reserve act which took the power of creating money away from Congress and gave it to the Federal Reserve Corporation.

As I’ve said this is a privately owned corporation and the two principal families involved are the Rockefeller’s and the Rothschild’s.  They are the men behind the curtain Bobby!  They control the money and that means they control the country.  They are an invisible government that nobody elected.”

“But what does any of this have to do with Kennedy?”  Bobby asked.

“I have no idea.  But David Rockefeller was there for a reason he must have been.  Kennedy must have done something to annoy him.”

“I might know a way we can find out.”  Bobby said.

“What is it?”

“My friend David has a number to get hold of Bobby Kennedy.  He would know what his brother could have done to annoy Rockefeller.”

“Listen Bobby that’s not a bad idea but count me out.”

“Why?”

“This is suicide, these men cannot be stopped.”  Garrett pulled the car to a halt outside a nightclub called The Cellar.

“What are we doing here?”  Bobby asked.

“Can you see that group of drunks in the doorway Bobby?”

Bobby looked towards the entrance to the club and saw a man trip over nothing and collapse to the ground.  “Jesus they are hammered.”

“Care to hazard a guess as to who they are?”  Garrett asked.

“Umm I have no idea.”

“They would be members of Kennedy’s Secret Service security detail for tomorrow.  They have been given a free bar courtesy of Vice President Lyndon Johnson.”

“You’re kidding?”

“Nope it saves having to bring them in on the plot, just incapacitate them.”

“This is absolutely insane!”

“It is Bobby.  Listen good luck for tomorrow.  I hope we meet again.”

“What you won’t drop me at home?”

“You can drive yourself.  The car is yours.  I need to disappear.”  With that Garrett got out of the car and walked down the street.  Bobby had no idea what to do.  He lit a cigarette and clambered over to the driver’s seat and drove to the condo.

Chapter 60

Bobby had just finished explaining the events of his evening.  David, Faraday and Jane were in stunned silence.  Everyone in the room knew that this was too big to stop.  The Mafia would have been hard enough to stop, but they were at the bottom of the pile.  They and the CIA were gunmen.  The FBI and Dallas PD would cover up whatever evidence there was and there will be a new President in the Whitehouse who will have no desire for the truth to come out.  It was the perfect crime.  The public would believe whatever story they were told.  The Oil Barons would keep their Oil Depletion Allowance and the weapons manufacturers would have their war.  But where does David Rockefeller come into the plot?

The silence had continued for a few minutes now.  Everyone was deep in thought.  It was Bobby who spoke first.

“What happened with Silvia Odio?”

“Well I had called her to see if she would help us tomorrow.  She was happy to, but when you arrived with the folder we managed to identify the men that visited her.”  David replied.
