My new play-toy was breathless by the time I was finished stimulating him, readying him for what I was going to do to him next. Dyson was going to be screaming my name by the end of the night, he had no idea how good I was about to make him feel.

Harley was shoving my face into the mattress, and had it been any other man I would have struggled from his hold and thumped the lord living shit out of him, but I was in ecstasy as he pounded relentlessly into me. My hands were tied at my back, my ass high in the air and the sound of our pleasure was ringing throughout the entire apartment. We had been at it for near two hours and true to his word, Harley had not allowed me the pleasure of an orgasm.

My balls were aching for release as Harley’s balls clapped against them. I begged, I pleaded and I even threatened to do strange things to him while he slept, because sooner or later he would sleep, yet he showed me no mercy. And I was relishing every second, with a misbehaved smirk on my face.

“I want every move you make tomorrow to remind you I’ve been here,” he slapped his hand on my ass cheek and grasped it tightly, sending a shot of electricity to my balls. I felt the tip of his finger map along the scar on the back of my leg, my football injury, it was a strange numb sensation.

“Please let me cum…Harley, I need to cum.”

“You’ve waited long enough, baby,” Harley smiled, slipping the knot at my back free. “You’ve been in that position for a while now, move slowly.”

I did as he told me and rolled onto my back, he rubbed his lips along the length of my shaft and then sucked me into his mouth until the tip of my cock touched the back of his throat and he attempted to cough.

“Oh fuck…do that again,” I told him, taking a handful of hair and holding while he worked me into a fever. I tugged and when he didn’t release I opened my eyes and tugged again.

“I’m going to cum…I’m there…oh fuck, oh fuck!” I roared as I shot my load into Harley’s mouth and he eagerly swallowed every drop.

He released me, slinking over my body, licking across my lips with a smile. I could taste my own essence on his tongue, it was wild.

“Mmm…” Harley moaned.

As I tried to sit up, more than willing to trade places, he pushed me back down and straddled my chest. He stroked himself and held out the tube of lube, wiggling his brows.

“Finger my ass,” he said, applying lube to the two fingers I happily held out. He winked. “Make me cum, baby.”

Slowly and gently I rubbed lube in circles against his tightly puckered hole, I could feel his hips tip slightly as I pushed past his tight ring of muscle and finger fucked him. My strokes were languid and relaxed at first, but the deeper I pushed and with the addition of a third digit, he growled and my pace became rapid and much more frantic.

“I’m going to cum,” he warned, “I’m going to mark you.”

I looked at his face and when our eyes met he dropped his chin to his chest and closed his eyes.

“If you’re going to mark me at least fucking look at me when you do,” I grumbled.

He wanted to mark me and make me his, yet he didn’t want me for anything more than sex. At first I wanted to be insulted and then ashamedly remembered that I had agreed to basically be his whore.

His hole was hot and tight grasping hold of me as I shoved my fingers in exploring his depth, at that moment he shot several hot jets of cum onto my chest, neck and chin.

After pulling from his ass I swirled my finger through the puddle on my chest and smirked.

“You want dessert?” I joked.

“Makes me want pudding,” he said, with a wink. “Do you know how to make pudding?”

“Yeah,” I laughed, as he climbed from my chest. “For you I’ll make it from scratch.”

Chapter Eight

~Dyson~

When I woke the next morning Harley was gone, his side of the bed was cold and empty. I shouldn’t have been surprised but for some reason I felt sadly alone. Perhaps it was pretty woman syndrome, the hooker effect, wham bam I’m outta here man. I shook my head at my thoughts, I did this to myself, I was allowing him to fuck ‘n chuck me. I showered, dressed and headed downstairs. As I reached the bottom step Harley’s bedroom door opened, I looked up at him standing in his underwear wiping the sleep from his eyes.

“I guess I forgot to set my alarm,” he laughed, walking over to the railing, leaning on his elbows. “Would you like to go for breakfast before work? We have time.”

“No thanks,” I said, as I walked away.

Detach
, I told myself.

I guess I was emotionally wounded. I now knew what it felt like for the lead in the chick-flick who slept with the dickhead and ended up with a rejected heart. That wasn’t going to be me, but it was kind of how I was feeling this morning. There was no forgetting what happened in my bed last night, as I squeezed my ass cheeks together.

If Harley wanted a whore, that was exactly what he would get. My mind was made up, it would be sex and only sex with no emotions and no emerging scars to come back and haunt me. I was going to work on emotional detachment if it killed me. My new motto was detach, detach, detach. After all, if he could do it then so could I.

The carafe in the coffee machine was full of freshly brewed coffee, since I had remembered to set the timer while I was waiting for the pudding to cook last night. I filled my travel mug, buttered a slice of toast and after one bite I left for work.

The door to my office remained open. I wasn’t going to completely avoid Harley. I simply decided to put him out of my mind for the day, perhaps the night and tomorrow too.

“Excuse me, I need help setting up a payment schedule for a new client.” I looked up from my computer, Jason Garner, new to sales, came in and held out a folder. Without speaking, I glanced over the standard contract and placed the folder at the bottom of the pile of today’s workload.

“You’re going to have to leave it with me,” I said. “I’ll get to it after lunch if I can.”

“No rush,” he said. “I’ll be bringing you a few more of those before the days done, I’m in hot demand in this city. I guarantee sales are going to go through the roof in this joint, you’re going to be putting in plenty of overtime my friend.”

This guy rubbed me the wrong way with his impertinence. He was a cocky little fucker. Friends like him I didn’t need. Clearly he didn’t know who he was talking to. There was no name on the door and I had thrown out the name plate the guys gave me for my desk years ago and therefore he hadn’t a clue.

“Doing well I take it?” I asked, waiting for some egotistical remark.

“You know it,” he straightened his unattractive cheap black tie. “I can see my name gracing the CEO’s office within the next six months.”

“That’s an arrogant thing to say considering the competition you have.”

“Competition? Don’t make me laugh,” he chortled. I wanted to smack his smug face clean off.

“Harley Cooper is our top salesman,” I informed him, not that I was prejudiced at all.

“Sure he’s good,” he shrugged. “But I’m younger, better at generating results with a new crowd.”

“Then don’t let me keep you,” I snorted, nodding to the door, dismissing his ass out of my sight.

The sooner that sack of monkey shit was out of my office the better, for the good of his own health. I took a deep cleansing breath when he shrugged me off and finally left. I sat up a bit straighter when Harley sauntered in after him with his hands in his pockets. He was so sexy walking towards me with his poised swagger.

Detach, detach, detach.

“I don’t like that loser,” he said, nodding his chin to the door.

“My sentiments exactly,” I laughed.

“You want to do lunch?” he asked.

“Can’t,” I thumped my fist on the stack of files to my left. “But thanks for the offer.”

Detach, detach, detach.

“Okay, next time,” Harley said, walking behind me, placing his hands on my shoulders. “What about dinner then? We could go somewhere nice.”

What was he doing to me? There was that mixed signals thing again. Did he even know he was doing it, or was he oblivious?

Detach, detach, detach.

Although he had made it clear that we could never have a relationship, he was acting like he wanted to spend a significant amount time with me, or at least all his meals with me. I had never been so confused in my entire life, but with this man my mind was in a constant shadow of chaos.

So much for my detachment plan, that went flying out the fucking window along with my dignity, the minute he put his hands on me.

I snickered at my pitiful self.

“What’s so funny?”

“Nothing,” I cleared my throat. “Dinner would be great, but there’s no way I’m going to get out of here by five.”

“I’ll make reservations at La Cave à Vin for seven, would that work for you?” he asked, with his hands kneading my shoulders, his thumb lightly stroking the side of my neck.

How was I supposed to resist with him touching me?

Detach, detach…ah fuck it! I would detach after dinner.

“Sure, but that is a pretty fancy place to go on a weeknight,” I said, but what I really meant was
how romantic
.

Deep down I could tell Harley had a romantic side, it was in the things he did and said, hidden behind the elusive
can’t
card. I shook the thought of more from my head and returned my attention to my computer screen.

“Seven I can do, I’ll meet you there,” I dismissed Harley and heard a deep chuckle escape him.

“I’ll be waiting.”

I had to take another deep breath. At this rate my lungs would get a healthy workout today. We both looked up to see Jason standing in the doorway with his brows knit together.

Harley quickly leaned forward and tapped his finger on my screen. “Right there, that’s what I was looking for. Thanks.”

I was confused for a moment and hoped Jason hadn’t noticed. Harley was covering our close proximity by making our discussion to appear as business related.

“Anytime,” I said, adding, “would you like a printout?”

“Email me a copy, if you don’t mind. I have a meeting I have to get to, gotta rush.” He smirked, nodding to Jason as he past. “Mr. Garner.”

“Mr. Cooper,” Jason retorted, as Harley dashed out the door.

Smooth
, I thought, hiding my laughter.

“Jason,” I said. “Did you forget something?”

“My lucky pen,” he pointed to an inexpensive ballpoint on the corner of my desk and quickly plucked it up, popping it into his breast pocket. “You and Mr. Cooper looked cozy.”

“Meaning what exactly?” I asked, slightly on the defensive, as I stood and circled the desk.

“Not a thing,” he snorted and I wanted to grab him by the throat and slam him against the wall. “People could get ideas, if you’re not too careful.”

“You be
very
careful, Mr. Garner,” I warned him, as I held my door, gesturing he should leave.

The look Jason gave me as he left made my skin crawl. He was bad news. I just hoped he would heed my warning.

~Harley~

That little fleabag Garner came out of Dyson’s office and stood texting on his cell while I watched him. He knew I was well aware of his plans. He was the hotshot wanna-be that walked in fresh from college with a shiny new diploma in his hand, no experience and his pants on fire, figuring he could take over and step in as lead by weeks end.

I hated his overly self-assured type.

Sales was my baby, I was head man of the department and my toes were not about to be stepped upon. Plus, he had no hope in hell off getting past door number one, since it required getting around Clayton, myself and two others. I tossed him a few of the easy sales this morning that needed no work at all. They were contracts entailing basic signing on the dotted line, just to keep him out of our faces. Clayton couldn’t be bothered throwing him anything at all, except nasty glares each time he came within a ten foot radius. The kid came to us on some sort of government funded work placement, he would never survive with his smug know-it-all attitude, his days were clearly numbered here and I was starting the countdown.

I didn’t like him and I sure as fuck didn’t like him anywhere near Dyson.

Speaking of Dyson, I was feeling guilty as hell for not being there this morning and it was clear by his reaction that he didn’t appreciated waking up alone like some two-bit whore. For this reason I made the offer of dinner at a fancy restaurant to make up for my sneaking out on him. The truth was? I kind of wanted to spoil him for his willing submission.

How was I going to explain the nightmares if by chance I did stay all night with Dyson? I couldn’t. Therefore it was easier to wait until he fell asleep and then go to my own bed, where the nightmares could run their course with no uneasy explanation needed.

As much as I wanted to spend all our nights together for the remainder of the six months, it plainly was not going to happen. Dyson would never understand and I would never ask him to. He would simply have to get used to waking alone and I would have to learn to deal with this feeling of guilt. I did not promise anything more.

By the time I finished up at the office and finally got to the restaurant it was nearly eight thirty. I was kind of shocked when Harley spotted me standing in the doorway and he smiled. I honestly did not expect that he would wait so long for me, I figured he had left long ago.

“I can’t believe you waited,” I said, slipping out of my jacket, draping it over the back of my chair.

“To tell you the truth,” Harley took a sip of his drink and smiled. “You had ten more minutes…then I was going to order another drink.”

“You are a funny, funny man,” I narrowed my eyes, before returning his smile when the waitress came over.

“Something from the bar to start, sir?” she asked.

“I’ll have what he’s having.”

“Chivas on the rocks,” he said.

“It’s not Chivas night is it?” I asked, with a wince as the waitress strode away.

“Nah, not tonight,” he assured me, nevertheless he looked like he’d already had a few.

“What’s bugging you?” I asked.

“It can keep, are you hungry?” he handed me the menu he had been looking at.

“Yeah, I can read French, not! I’m not really that hungry, maybe we could share an appetizer and a salad?” I suggested. “Do I get a hint about what’s got you in a mood?”

“I’m not in a mood…the tartes fromage de chèvre are great.”

“I’ll just have to believe you.”

The waitress was back with our drinks and Harley placed our order, in French of course, it was sexy as hell.

“We need to talk about Jason Garner,” I told him, since it was better to put it out there now than wait for the proverbial hammer to drop. “I think we need to keep an eye on him, I don’t trust him, he’s going to cause us trouble.”

“That little fucker,” Harley snapped. “Did he threaten you?”

“Threaten me? No. What are you talking about?”

Harley finished his drink and shoved the glass of ice cubes to the edge of the table. “I wasn’t going to say anything,” he took his phone from his pocket. “I received a text, about two hours ago.”

Handing me the phone, he signaled to the waitress. When she came over, he talked to her again in French and she walked away after a nod and a smile. I focused on Harley’s messages.

Jason: A position has opened in senior management and I want it.

Harley: You need to contact HR, I can’t help you.

Jason: That’s where you are wrong. You are going to get me that position.

Harley: I have no say, it is not my department.

Jason: Tell me? How many contracts do you think you’ll lose when word gets out?

Harley: ?

Jason: You boys have nice rings. Fraternity thing is it?

Harley: It would serve you better to keep your nose clean and out of things that have nothing to do with you.

“Remington’s old position, is he serious?” I asked, but I knew the answer. “I’ll talk to EJ he’ll deal with this little asshole.”

“What are you going to do, have everyone that suspects we have something going on fired?” Harley asked.

“What do you suggest we do? I’ll tell EJ in the morning that he’s a fuck up and messing with contracts. It’s a great excuse to get rid of him before he makes waves we can’t control. He’s trouble. Imagine the lengths he’d take, to get what he wants.  You should know, he
did
make revisions to a few contracts. You and I both know he doesn’t have the authority to do that. Sooner or later Garner’s going to fuck up something major and we’ll lose clients.”
