Chapter 12

“Spring’s in full swing around here,” I said to Laura as we began planting some flowers around the perimeter of the main house. It had been four months since my second chance on life, and I was out and about the house most days. Lately, I hadn’t been feeling too hot to be outside, but around noon, I seemed to improve.

“Yes, it is, and these boys are going to come in running for food.”

“They sure can eat,” I remarked. The men took Laura shopping once a week, and it was like they bought enough food for a month. Not with these guys around.

“Yes, but you can’t lately, can you?” she asked suspiciously. I knew she could tell something was up. Twice this week, she looked at me funny. Both times, I was trying to choke down some food.

“No, it seems that I really can’t hold much down.” I had dropped about five pounds in the past two weeks all together.

“We’ll take a trip to the doctor’s office tomorrow.”

“It’s kind of crazy that I get to go out now. I can’t believe that William held a town meeting, and everyone has kept their mouths quiet about my presence.”

“Taking away funding can do that to people. Besides, the people that live here are good folks with kind hearts and strong moral character. They didn’t care for that man and his band of crooks.”

“Do you think I should tell William yet?”

“Tell me what?” I jumped to the side, dropping the pod of mums I was about to plant.

Shit, the giant sneaks up on me all the time.

“Didn’t mean to scare you, Ana.”

“Sorry, I didn’t hear you coming.” I got up onto my feet, dusting off my pants.

“So what don’t you want to tell me?” he asked with a raised brow and crossed arms.

“Well, I’ve been a little sick lately, and well...we think I might be pregnant.”

“Are you serious?” he asked excitedly. I knew that after his accident, he never thought that this would happen. I didn’t want to get his hopes up for nothing.

“Very serious. It’s not certain, though,” I reminded him. “I still have to check with the doctor.”

“When are you going?” He slid his large, rough hands around my waist.

“I suggested we go tomorrow,” Laura added, reminding us that she was still with us.

“I’ll go with you,” he told me.

“But you’re busy.”

“Did I stutter? I’m going,” he stated.

“It’s just…what if I’m not?”

“What if you are and I miss hearing it? I don’t want to miss it. Any of it.” The look in his eyes told me that this meant so much to him, and there was no point in raining on his parade.

“Okay,” I said, smiling up at him.

He bent down and kissed me before turning to Laura. “Now, if you’ll excuse us, Laura, I have to have a talk with my wife.”

“Is she going to miss setting up lunch?” Laura asked with a laugh.

“Probably.” I turned beet red. It wasn’t like she didn’t know what we did but pointing it out made me feel awkward.

“Good man.” Laura had tapped his shoulder before William scooped me up in his arms for some afternoon delight.

~~~~~
I was able to get in to see the doctor the next morning. William was up and jumping, ready to go to find out if I was pregnant. “Do you want to slow down a bit? The appointment isn’t for another two hours.”
“Babe, I’m sorry. I’m excited. You’re not excited?” he asked walking to his closet.
“I’m not myself in the morning. It’s too early for smiles.” I stood up to jump in the shower, and my nausea hit me like a Mack truck. I scurried to the bathroom while he was looking for a shirt. Closing the door, I started heaving and hoped he wouldn’t hear. Not a chance in hell.
The bathroom door flew open so quickly that I thought it would make a hole in the wall it hit.
“I’m fine, William.”
“You’re sick,” said Captain Obvious. Vomiting didn’t make me a nice person.
“Yeah, I got that. It’s the reason we’re going to the doctor,” I replied snippily with my head still over the toilet.
“Fuck, that’s a terrible side effect.” I rolled my eyes and took a deep breath. It wasn’t his fault I was moody. Well, if I was pregnant, then he was partly responsible for my shitty mood.
“It’s not pretty. Give me a minute and I’ll be okay.”
“Nope.” He walked around and wet a washcloth he had pulled out of the linen cabinet. Handing it to me, I took it then gave him a soft smile.
Getting up, I washed my face in the sink. “I’m sorry that you don’t feel well,” he consoled.
“It’s okay. I don’t mean to be grumpy.”
“Sweets, if I were bent over puking my guts out like that, I’d be a little irritable, too.”
He ran the shower, then said, “Call me if you need me. Okay? I love you, Ana.” William kissed my cheek before walking out the door to give me my privacy.
By the time we hit the road to the doctor’s, I was in a much better mood. It was nice to feel normal again. “William, are you nervous?”
“Of course. I hope that it’s just the baby. I don’t want you to get sick.”
“I meant about raising a baby.”
“Not as much as I should be. I acknowledge that I don’t know everything, but I’ve got you and my family to make sure I get it right. It’ll be alright, Ana.” He squeezed my hand then kissed it before putting it in his lap.
“What would I do without you?”
“I don’t know because I don’t plan on leaving you—ever.”
We got to the doctor’s office, signed in, and took a seat. The nurse told us it wouldn’t be long but came up to us with a large cup. “Before you see the doctor, though, I need you to leave a urine sample.”
“Damn, could you bring her any bigger of a cup?” William said with sincere outrage.
“Sir, this is a glass of water. This is the cup,” she said rolling her eyes at him, pulling a small container out of her nurses’ uniform.
“Oh,” William replied, embarrassed.
“I’ll be right back,” I said, patting his knee before standing up.
“The bathroom is down the hall and to the left.” The nurse pointed the way.
“Thank you,” I told her, winking at William before I walked away.
~~~~~

We’re going to have a baby.

The doctor told us what to expect for the next few months, but I hadn’t expected the heartwarming feeling that I was going to be a mother that washed over me. It was like the confirmation was a blessing. We probably got pregnant on our wedding night.

William waltzed out of the doctor’s office like he’d been crowned king. Seriously, the man couldn’t be happier. Of course, his overprotectiveness kicked in again. He helped me into the car like precious cargo.

“At least the doctor approved of the horseback riding as long as we take it slow.”

“Yes, baby, I know you’ve been anxious to get on your horse again,” he cajoled

“I liked it a lot the last time. The first time, I was scared out of my mind,” I laughed.

“I’d never let anything happen to you, sweetheart.”

Chapter 13

Spring turned into summer and a few more memories popped into my head. It was always about the same woman. I had a feeling that she wasn’t just a figment of my imagination. She had to be more. Her name was similar to mine, Lana. One moment I thought she was a memory, but then my head and heart would play a trick on me, and I wasn’t so sure again.

I had gone to take a shower because I was working in the yard even though William told me to take it easy. He wasn’t, of course. I knew he was working hard, getting sweaty. God, thinking of him covered in perspiration as he tossed hay or exercised the horses sent my panties up in flames.

With that thought, I decided to go on the hunt for William. Since they learned through the grapevine that Claudio had gone missing, we actually felt safer. Something about it felt like he was dead or hiding out from the government. Either way, he wouldn’t be looking for me. As I made my way across the field, I passed the bunkhouse, and Mateo pointed to the stables. I gave him a nod with the cowboy hat I had yet to get. My small sundress gave me a cool breeze on this scorching day, but it didn’t ease the fire that only William could put out.

I watched the way the smile appeared on my husband’s face when he caught me staring at his ripped abs. I licked my lips involuntarily, itching for my cowboy to take me for a ride.

“Hey, baby. Come over here. I’ve got to show you something in the stable.”

“Are we going for a ride?” I asked, knowing damn well that wasn’t what I wanted. Well, I didn’t want to ride…a horse.

“Yes,” he said with a wicked promise in his eyes.

“But the horses are in the pasture.”

He gave me a nod. I rushed my ass into the stable like a woman on a mission, receiving a smack on my needy bottom. He closed the doors behind us and hit the lights inside. The stable lit up bright enough to get close. He pinned me against the strong doors and kissed me hard while his hands slid up my bare thighs.

“Mrs. Cline, isn’t that dress a little short?” he asked with his lips on my neck.

“I can’t help it, sir. This baby is growing so big.”

He stared down at the small white panties I had on under my dress. "Damn, you know that I'm going to ruin these, right little mama?"

"I was kind of hoping you would, cowboy," I dared, looking him in the eyes with a dirty smile.

With a tear ripping through the air, my panties were no more, but I didn't care because the stiff swell of my husband's cock was buried so deep in me that I lost my breath for a moment. I was about to come.

"Ah," I moaned as he pumped into me. It wasn't hurting, but he was so thick. I felt so full.

"Sugar, you feel so good. I'm not gonna last."

"Neither am I," I cried out, coming hard. He growled and thrust faster coming with me.

William panted, "Thank you, baby. That's just what I needed."

~~~~~
“This is a nice surprise, William,” I squealed when he took me out on a picnic on the horse. My belly was growing fast, so I thought he wouldn’t let me ride anymore. “I didn’t think you’d let me get on a horse.”
“Well, I’ve got you. It’s not that it’s not good for you, but you could fall.”
“I think I might like riding better like this,” I whispered, pressing my head back against his chest.
Being held in his arms so tightly made me feel loved. William was devoted to me and showed me every day. I pressed myself deeper into his body as he rode which proved beneficial for me. His large cock was pushing against my ass and the gentle gallop of the horse only intensified the throbbing between my thighs. I let out a soft moan. "Ana, are you wet?"
"For you, always. Your cock is hard, making me ache."
"Fucking right. Soon I’ll fix your ache and my own."
"Are we almost there?"
"Needy, sugar?"
"Yep," I said grinding my body.
"Hey, don't be giving my horse any of your desire. I might have to take it out back and shoot it."
"Well, hurry because I need to come."
"Damn, you know I'm going to have to keep you knocked up."
"Shut up."
"Okay," he whispered against my neck before he kissed there.
He stopped the horse and ran his hand down to my heated core. Lifting my dress, he slid my panties aside and slipped a finger along my slit. I cried out, immediately coming on his hand. He sucked on my neck and jaw until I rode out my orgasm. Pulling his fingers away, he brought them to his lips, licking them clean.
"Sweeter than sugar," he said with a moan.
He grabbed the reins and tugged, getting the horse back in motion. We trotted for another hundred feet, and William called for the horse to halt.
“Why are you stopping here?”
“Because...look to the side.” I did as he said and there it was, a beautiful setup for a picnic. I blushed, staining my flushed face even more. My impatient ass, I had to bust out in laughter.
“I didn’t know it was that close.”
“That’s because you were distracted. Don’t be embarrassed, I really enjoyed watching you fall apart on the horse.”
He jumped off before helping me down. His hands gripped my waist, as I slowly slid down his body with a smile. “You may have gotten yours, but watching you come only made it harder for me.”
“I’m sorry, cowboy. Do you know if anyone is around?”
“No. I told all guys to stay away and block the one entry a mile away so we’re safe and all alone.” I didn’t let him finish before I started to undo his jeans. I had to ease my love’s ache. He helped me down to my knees as I took out his thick cock with beads of cum sliding down the tip. I ran my tongue hungrily across my lip, making William grunt in anticipation.
“Suck it, Ana,” he said in a growling plea. I smiled as I slipped my tongue along the tip, licking up all the liquid that broke free, but he had a lot more to give me. “That’s right, sugar, drink.”
I took him all the way in, letting the tip slide past my tonsils. He groaned, and more of his release ran down my throat. He stood there rocking, tilting his hips forward. His cock sliding in and out of my throat. I could feel it pulsing, ready to come. A moan ripped through his chest. “Ana, damn it, baby. You’re so good.”
I pulled completely off his length and placed my hands on my hips in mock anger. “Good. Just good.”
“Hey, hey. Your head skills are amazing.” That was better. I ran my hands back up his thighs when he added, “Now finish what you started.” He pushed the back of my head, and I took him in, sucking him to a shaking mess. My mouth tortured his cock, bringing him to the brink then slowing back down. Having had enough teasing, his hands locked into my hair gripping it for leverage as he grunted and growled, fucking my face.
“Ah. I’m coming,” he roared. I felt the first stream but couldn’t savor it since it went straight down, so I pulled off just slightly to taste the rest. Every last drop hit my tongue, causing my pussy to throb in excitement.
He helped me back up and held me tight. “Damn, don’t ever let me call you ‘good’ again. You tried to suck out my soul,” he chuckled.
“I guess we both learned I don’t like to be challenged.”
“Come on, let me get you some real food.” We moved off to the blanket that had a basket setup. It was perfect. I couldn’t believe that he went through all this for me. I didn’t know why he loved me like he did, but it wasn’t something I’d never try to push away. He was everything for me, but I wasn’t special. Hell, I didn’t even know the real me. All I knew was the woman I’d become with him guiding and loving me.
“Sugar, what’s wrong? What happened to my dirty, sweet wife?” He stopped unpacking the basket and took me in his arms. With his arms wrapped around me, I felt secure enough to let my concerns out.
“I’m sorry, William. I’m just having one of those who the fuck am I moments.”
“It will come in time. And the woman before me is all that matters to me. You know that,” he reminded me.
“I know, but I still feel uncomfortable about my former life.”
“My love, it’ll get better in time.” He kissed my temple then opened the basket for our lunch. It was a simple salad and some juice which had been my latest craving.
“You know I love you so much. I don’t know what I’d do without you.”
“Same here, babe. I couldn’t live without you. Now, how about you eat so we can get back to the house and I can make love to you all afternoon.”
“Aren’t you going to eat?”
“No, sugar. I ate while you were in the shower.”
“Why?”
“Because I don’t want cold food, and I need more than a salad. You know I have to have my steak.”
“We didn’t have to go out on a picnic just for me.”
“I had alone time with you and a fantastic orgasm. It’s already been a satisfying afternoon.”
“Thanks, I’m glad it wasn’t just a good afternoon.”
“Oh, you little shit,” he growled wrapping his arms around my head and waist quickly dropping down to the blanket. I just giggled until he popped my dress open and took my nipple in his mouth.
“Ah,” I sighed, immediately gripping his hair and pressing him closer to my breast. Clutching him close, I lifted my hips trying any way I could to make contact with his cock. He wrestled away from me with a chuckle. Then made quick work of his pants and with a slide of my panties, my love gave me what I needed. William groaned, and I cried out as his huge cock sunk deep into my womb, pleasure running through us. At a frenzied pace, we rocked on the blanket. Lunch and people all forgotten, we rutted and fucked like rabbits until we were a mess of screaming orgasms. We fell asleep with the sun, waking after a neigh from his horse.
“Uh-oh, sugar. We fell asleep. Time to head back.” We got up and managed to get to the house just as the sun had gone down.
“Welcome back home. It’s nice to see you two. Dinner is on the table. Go wash up and come down semi decent. Your parents, brother, and his wife are on their way,” Laura yelled at us. William actually looked frightened, but I saw that gleam in her eyes. Laura and well, everyone else couldn’t wait for the babies to come. Dinner was going to be fun once we broke the news to them about the twins on the way.
