My heart sank, I’d been sitting there all that time and it looked like he’d already made his decision. Had he kept me waiting just to make a point about me being late? What an asshole.
The phone on the desk rang again and Laila picked it up with a smile that very quickly turned to a frown. “Hey you” she called over to me with irritation obvious in her tone. “Mr Cole says you may go in now” she gestured over to the door that her friend had just come out of and shot me a look of distain.
Grateful that I was being given a chance I ignored her attitude, picked up my bag, straightened my suit and began to walk towards the office door. Just as I passed through the door I heard her say “Don’t worry babe, I bet you’ve definitely got the job. He doesn’t hire fatties so that girl hasn’t got a chance in hell.”
They both laughed loudly and I felt my face redden.
Once through the door I found myself standing in a short hallway with only one other door at the end. Taking a moment to calm down and forget about the two bitches back out in the foyer, I began to walk as confidently as I could towards Mr Cole’s office. Taking a deep breath I knocked lightly on the big glossy black door.
A deep masculine voice called out for me to enter. Grabbing the door handle I pushed it forward and opened my mouth to begin apologising for my lateness. Unfortunately no words came out of my mouth. I stood there in a mixture of shock, horror and embarrassment with my mouth hanging wide open.
Mr Cole was sat behind his large imposing oak desk with a look of pleasant surprise on his own face. He smiled and motioned for me to enter with his hand, his long fingers beckoning me forward. The same fingers which just that morning had brought me to an incredible orgasm in the middle of a packed commuter train. His eyes seem to light up as he watched me take a nervous and unsure step forward into his office.
“Well good morning, Miss Rowe is it? Do take a seat....”
