“Jahan,” she greeted calmly and nodded at the chair beside her. “Won’t you sit down and join us for lunch? I’m sure it is not too late to put in your order.”

Jahan tersely gave his order as did Jamal to the waiter and slid into the vacant chair. Well aware they were the cynosure of everyone in the establishment. “Chia,” he began and stopped at the frosty look she gave him.

“Not here. It is too public for what I want to say to you.”

Anya turned to Jamal. “Whatever you think you need to take me to task for, you had just
better forget it,” she warned, silkily, but the underlying steel was evident to everyone at the table.

Taken aback, Jamal could only stare at her in surprise. He had known she was fiercely independent. He had never heard her sound so strong.
His woman had a spine of steel. Damn, but it made his dick hard.

Jahan nodded curtly, not wanting their private disagreements t
o become fodder for the public. He had been terrified when her guards had called and told him they had lost her at the boutique. He had torn a strip off the young men before Jamal had urged him to calm down and send them into the shop to inquire from the owner where her customers had gone.

By that time, Jahan had arrived with Jamal driving and they had been told the two women were lunching at the Tea Cup. Jahan was well aware that Chia was punishing him for leaving her without a word where he was going. And had to admit, he hated the feeling of helplessness. None-the-less, he had to impress on her the importance of staying with her guards. He had too many enemies for to take foolish chances with her safety.

Jamal had been irritated that Anya had seemed to be encouraging Chia to indulge reckless acts. Jahan had warned him not to over react and cause a rift between them. Chia was quite capable of doing these things on her own. Jamal had surprisingly cautioned his prince to use the same restraint.

Jahan could not take his eyes away from Chia’s glowing face. Her new maternity outfit fit her perfectly and matched her amazing eyes. She looked no worse for her excursion and he sighed softly and relaxed, prepared to enjoy lunch with his beautiful wife.

Chia felt her anger at Jahan melting as he continued to stare at her with his dark chocolate eyes. She had always melted when he’d turn them on her and it was far worse now that she knew how potent his lovemaking could be. Feeling the heat pool between her thighs, she stood quickly and excused herself to go to the ladies’ room. It was absolutely unfair how he could get her aroused so easily. She smiled smugly in the mirror in the ladies’ room. Perhaps he had gotten the message and they might not have to get into a fight over it. She hoped Jamal didn’t open his mouth and put both feet in when he talked with Anya. She’d give a lot to see his face when Anya wore her dress for him. She bet their marriage was sooner rather than later after that.

Jahan half rose when Chia hurried away, a soft hand on his arm held him back.

“She’s fine, Jahan. It’s to be expected that she will have to use the restroom more often. Besides, I think you were watching her so closely, it became uncomfortable for her,” Anya observed quietly.

Knowing well what she meant by uncomfortable, Jahan’s grin spread over his face. Even when Chia was furious with him, she could not control her physical response to him. “She has the same effect on me, Anya.” He glanced quickly at his lap and place
d his napkin to help hide his aroused state.

“She’s a very lucky woman and you are a very lucky man,” she murmured,
sneaking a peek at Jamal from under her lowered lashes. “Her trip out today has done her a world of good, but she is very tired. After lunch, she should return home and take a nap,” she offered watching Chia walk slowly back to the table.

“Thank you, Anya for watching out for her today.” Jahan spoke quietly, his keen gaze seeing the slight strain under Chia’s eyes.
“Just as soon as we finish, I will take her home.”

Jamal caught Anya’s hand and squeezed gently. “And I am sorry I jumped to such an erroneous conclusion, Anya.
You were a good friend to Chiandra.”

Anya blushed, her heart racing under his touch and nodded, suddenly shy under his hot regard.

Chia felt Jahan’s concerned stare and realized he had seen how tired she was. She was actually relieved he had shown up. They could work out their problems on the way home and she could crawl into bed and go to sleep when she got home. Home! What a wonderful word. Her eyes misted and she smiled tremulously down into his handsome face.

Jahan stood and slowly help
ed his wife sit down. The food fortunately arrived and with a speed that was nearly an insult to the wonderful food, they ate quickly and then made their way out to their vehicles.

Chia turned to Anya, hugging her, whispering in her ear. “Thank you for today, Anya and good luck with Jamal.”

Anya hugged her back and mouthed thank you and then stepped into the car with Jamal.

Ja
han helped Chia into the back seat of his Mercedes and motioned for the driver to head home. The guards were in front and behind them. For long moments Jahan held Chia’s hand, strolling her palm. “Chia,” he murmured softly and turned to face her.

Chia reluctantly
opened her eyes. “Mm?”

“I’m sorry I left without telling you where I was going. I didn’t want to worry you and I had planned on being back before you woke. When the meeting ran long I should have called and told you. I hurt you and worried you, which is w
hat I was trying to avoid.”

Tears stung Chia’s eyes and she reached up to cup his cheek with her hand. “I was hurt, Jahan. I want us to have a marriage, a partnership. You know I dumped my guards today to get a little revenge on you. It was foolish of me. Sometimes my temper gets the better of me.”

“Yes, and it scared ten years off my life when they lost you.” Jahan pulled her across his legs and buried his lips against her neck with a low growl. “Don’t you know that I could not live if anything happened to you?”

Chia surrendered against his hot strength and sighed. “It’s the same way I would feel if something were to happen to you, love.”

“I vow to you, I will never leave you without telling you where I am going.” His lips hovered over hers, his eyes locked fiercely to hers.

“I promise the same. Now kiss me!” she demanded and pressed her lips to his.

Jahan felt the car slow and stop at the gates to the palace and cursed silently. “Honey, we are home.” He set her on the seat and pushed her mussed hair off her face, smiling at her swollen lips and passion dazed eyes.

Jahan barely waited until the car pulled to a stop and he was lifting her out of the back seat and striding boldly into the house and up the stairs, barely
nodding to Amanda and Malek as he passed them in the foyer. “We will be down later.”

Chia buried her face in his chest, her face crimson with embarrassment. “They will know what we are going to do.”

“They know I am going to make love to my beautiful wife. And that is exactly what he proceeded to do as soon as the bedroom door shut. He made slow, exquisite love to her and when they were finally joined together, his shaft lodged deep inside her hot slick channel, they soared together as one with the sharp ecstasy of release that claimed them.

Chia rested against Jahan’s sweaty chest. She loved his hard muscled body. She traced small circles around his flat brown nipple. He hiss
ed, exciting her. She was slowly learning the things that made him hot and hard for her. She watched in fascination as his cock filled with blood until it lay throbbing on his washboards abs.

A bit of her old mischief surfaced. “Just how big is your cock, Jahan? I really don’t have anything to judge it by. She tried to circle it with her hand and fell short. Jahan’s low moan had her glancing at his face. Passion blazed from his dark eyes.

“Honey, you are driving me crazy. I don’t want to take you again so soon. You will get sore. He leaned down and nipped at her lip. I am about eight inches long and big enough around to fill that tight little pussy of yours. Does that answer your questions?” He laughed at her red cheeks. He loved that he could still make her blush.

Feeling the need to take her mate, Chia climbed on top of him, her knees straddling his narrow hips. She rocked on h
im, coating his cock with her cream. She braced her hands on his chest, careful not to put too much pressure on her stomach. She closed her eyes as the tip of his cock teased her clit. Breathing harder she raised up and took him slowly inside her. She was a bit sore, nothing she was worried about. “Help me, love. I need you.” She strained over him, feeling his hard length swell as he neared his climax.

Jahan reached one hand down as his other cupped her hip, helping her find a gentle, slow rhythm. Using one finger
he rubbed her hard nub, slowly at first then faster as she neared her peak. “Come for me, baby. Come with me now, love.”

Chia arched back, her release clenching her muscles tight. A raw scream was torn from her throat. “Oh, my God!” She slowly rode Jahan t
hrough their releases, reveling in her ability to bring such pleasure to her man. Her body collapsed over Jahan. She panted, trying to catch her breath. “What you do to me.”

She moved to lay at his side, her head back on his chest. “I do love you, you know. I will love you with all my heart for the rest of my days.”

Jahan’s heart pounded in his chest. She was his. “You are everything to me, love. Without you nothing I do is worthwhile. Together we can accomplish whatever we set out minds to. I have loved you all of your life. Stay with me, help me change our country and raise our children. Forever.”

“Forever!” she whispered.
