Under a red rose

Beneath an innocent red rose is a tunnel to your house! Nice!

You can place flowers in a little garden with all yellow flowers, and one red rose on the side (not the center, or it'll look too obvious).

Then, underneath the red rose, dig a long hole into the ground for about ten or twenty or even, thirty blocks. Place a vines or a ladder to break your fall so when you jump into the hole, you won't die!

Place a door beside the end of the hole and past the door, you can build your secret house or base!

Behind ore in a mine

You can also hide your house or secret base behind ore in a mine. At the entrance of a mine (not too deep now, or else you'll get lost if you're not careful!), place some coal or iron in a little cluster.

Then, dig a hole behind the ore and place your door.

You can only get access to the house should you break down the ore, and enter through the secret door. Nifty!

However, don't put an extremely valuable ore like gold, redstone or…diamonds! That's obvious, because other players will obviously want to mine it and think of it as suspicious seeing redstone or diamonds at "ground level" and not Level 14 or 20.

Tallest tree trunk

Find the tallest tree in the entrance to a forest and beneath the trunk you can make a tunnel to your secret base. Other players will never ever guess that your secret base was under a tree. Since there's literally hundreds of trees in the game, they'll never know which one it is even if you did tell them your secret base is under a tree!

Warning:
You've a high risk of never finding your base again. Make sure you know which tree your base was under!

The Epic Jeb Door

The Jeb door is a door that is completely hidden from the outside and other than the switch that will turn it on, you cannot see it at all.

You can hide it in a hill, mountain or sand dune and no one will ever know that there is a secret door to your base there.

This trick is well known, but for the few of you that don't know it, here it is.

Dig a hole which will be the entrance to your secret room. Then, cover the hole by placing a painting on the wall. Your painting should be big enough to cover the entire hole, there are a few that look pretty whilst also cover the entire hole.

However, don't use this trick to hide your house from the outside, because a painting in the middle of a forest looks…unnatural and slightly off-putting. It's like in The Hunger Games where lighting a fire is the best thing you can do to get others Tributes come and find you.

Snowballs are really handy for fighting blaze rods and even the Ender Dragon (provided you hit the Ender Dragon with other methods too, not just snowballs). If you want to get infinite snow without the hassle of going to a snow biome, do this instead.

Make a snow golem with two blocks of snow and one pumpkin. As well as getting infinite snow from them, but you can also use them to throw snowballs at mobs. It's hilarious..it's like people throwing rotten tomatoes at Shakespeare's plays all over again!

Then, hit the snow golem's base with a shovel and you'll get a snowball. Keep doing it and you'll keep getting more and more snow. This is the easiest way to get a ton of snow in a couple of seconds or less.

When you're mining and want to find out what time it is without a clock, it's easy! With this little trick you can find out if it's day or night whilst mining.

Every mine has void fog. Void fog is that dark and hazy fog that prevents you from seeing what's further down the mine. Void fog is the most obvious in large ravines and in tunnels.

Void fog changes it's colour depending on the time of day. By looking at the colour of the ravine, you will be able to tell the time.

In the day time, the void fog will be light grey and will have an almost white tint to the edges. In the night time, the void fog will be a very dark grey or black colour.

You need to make sure that there is symmetry in your house, because otherwise, everything will look crooked or one sided or even, just a bit messed up.

For example, you need to make sure that your front door is in the middle, by ensuring that there are an equal number of blocks on each side of the door. Symmetry makes things look a lot better.

The best way to get out of an iron cage is to place a block outside it, on the edge. You can place blocks outside of the cage but you can't do it from the outside and placing a block in. Then you have to jump onto the block you placed, and you should be outside!

This is probably THE BEST Herobrine joke you will ever come across. Whilst most Herobrine jokes that you see on the internet are a lot more realistic than this joke here, you will need a ton of mods to carry out the jokes and you can't do the jokes on Xbox either.

The Herobrine joke that's described here is totally doable no matter what console you are using, and requires very little materials.

Firstly, make sure you are playing on a shared server or multiplayer with friends. This joke isn't really that funny unless you have other people playing Minecraft with you. Even one friend is enough.

Then, make sure you have a nametag from an anvil called "Herobrine". You should have a stash of nametags in case something goes wrong. Then, go to a hostile mob such as a creeper or a skeleton or even a spider. Make sure that the mob sees you and begins to approach and attack. Then, walk over to them and give them the nametag with "Herobrine".

Allow the mob to kill you.

The console message that displays will say:

"BionicNinja26 was slayed by Herobrine".

That's definitely going to alarm your fellow friends and is an awesome gag to pull off! There's nothing like Herobrine to turn your friends into a bunch of scaredy-cats!
