She felt the bulge touch her womanly
parts and started, th
en relaxed when a light rubbing
sensation proved particularly pleasant. She clutched his hair and sighed.
“Ooooh, don’t stop. Keep doing that.”
He picked up the pace, settling her legs
around his hips. “Does this feel more comfortable?”
GiNae bit her lip a
s an overwhelming sensation overtook her. “Stop! I cannot
bear anymore…”
Her
eyes popped open. She was lying on her stomach, nightdress bunched around her
waist with her hand between her thighs. The tingling feeling was still with
her.
What the hell had h
appened?
She sat up and pushed her hair, damp with sweat, away from
her face. Tentatively, she touched the spot where she’d been rubbing, and
nearly fell over as her body shivered. That must be the
chi
she’d heard other girls talking about.
Wow, was she ev
er sensitive down there!
Panting, she readjusted her nightgown
and lay on her back, waiting for the feeling to subside.
In
the morning, she pondered the latest dream, then experimented in the shower.
The tiny spot between her legs was still sensitive when
she touched it, and aiming the nozzle there brought a small amount of
the same feeling she’d experienced, but not quite. With a sigh, she finished
washing and shut off the water, enjoying the slight surge of pleasure the rough
towel helped send as she dri
ed herself.
SkiRee
whined at the door. She quickly wrapped herself in a robe and grabbed the
makeshift leash to take him outside in the cool morning air. When his business
was complete, she took him back inside for food and water while she dressed and
ate
her own breakfast.
“Do
I need to take you with me today, or do you think you’ll be all right with
Mother?”
“I
think I can take care of him.” GiNae looked up to find her mother at the door.
“NiKoh has already gone to the office, and if I keep this door clo
sed, as well as the one to my room, he should be all right.
The workers are coming to finish his pen, so this way he’ll get to try it out.”
“I’ll
bring home some toys for him this afternoon.” GiNae rinsed her bowl in the sink
and showed ViShe how to fasten
the leash around his
neck. “He told me he needed to go outside, so maybe housebreaking him is going
to be easy. He’s already been fed, so if it wouldn’t be too much trouble, try
to take him outside every two hours.”
“Just
like a toddler. Same concept.” Vi
She smiled. “We’ll
be fine.”
“Thanks,
Mother.” GiNae kissed her cheek, then walked to the shelter.
She
spent the morning with
dogas
and
catois
, grooming each one and making them
presentable for a group of school children who had planned an outing. After lu
nch, she moved XaDie and SpaKles to the pasture, then
helped RaKel as she gave the children a tour of the facility and explained what
they were doing, answering any questions posed. After the class had departed,
both women returned to the office and sank i
nto their
chairs.
“I
never knew kids could be so exhausting.” GiNae took the band out of her hair
and shook her long locks, then scraped them back in the ponytail. “This only
reinforces it. I am never having kids.”
“Oh,
you’ll change your mind when you mee
t your Chosen,
the one who makes your heart sing and who you’ll actually want to kiss.” RaKel
smiled. “My kids are these animals. My mate died before we decided to conceive,
but I’ve been very content.”
“What
if DaVae returns and begins to court you?”
Colo
r flamed in RaKel’s cheeks. “We’ll see what happens.”
“Ah-ha!
Have you been speaking to him?”
RaKel
shuffled some papers, then looked at her. “He sent me a message last night, and
after several, we activated the hologram and talked for several hours. He’s
coming back this weekend, and is taking me to one of the
restaurants.”
“How
exciting!” GiNae clapped her hands. “Any dreams yet?”
“No.”
RaKel pursed her lips. “It’s not the same as when you go through Maturity.”
“Oh.”
Subdued, GiNae fell silent.
“Have
you
spoken to your Chosen about your wishes?” RaKel
leaned back in her chair.
“Yes.
I think he is willing to go before the elders on my behalf.” GiNae chewed her
lip. “I thought these dreams would stop, but last night…”
“I
take it they’re increasing?”
GiNae
d
ropped her eyes, pretending to examine the hem of
her shirt.
“I
see. We all go through this, sweetie.” The kindness in RaKel’s voice brought
more tears to her eyes.
“I’m
going to take XaDie for a ride.” GiNae bolted from her chair, unable to bear
being
around others.
She
saddled the
pannei
and soon realized it was a mistake, for
the saddle forced the fabric of her slacks against the tender flesh between her
legs. But once she reached open ground and urged XaDie into a gallop, the
sensation became more pl
easant. GiNae experimented
with different gaits, but nothing brought back the same feeling as in her
dream.
Upon
returning to the shelter, she took extra care rubbing down the animal and
grooming him before releasing him back into the pasture with SpaKles.
RaKel asked her to assist with tending an injured
dogas
which had arrived, and by the time its
distraught owner was calmed, the injury patched, and the animal settled in a
clean cage for overnight observation, the work day had ended. GiNae picked up a
few
toys she remembered SkiRee enjoying and returned
home.
“How
was he?” GiNae greeted her mother and bent down to pat the wriggling fur ball.
“I brought you something. Here.” Handing the rubber squeak toy to him, she
smiled as he growled, then trotted off wi
th it.
“He’s
been a joy. No messes, and he seems to like the pen.”
GiNae
straightened up. “I saw the men working on the little house for him. What’s for
supper? I’m starving.”
“I
made your favorite
nei’chi
dish. For dessert, those little cakes
you enjoy so
much.”
“Yum!”
GiNae sniffed the air, then popped one of the iced cakes in her mouth, stopping
short at the sight of NiKoh already seated at the table. “Greetings, NiKoh.”
“Greetings.”
He saluted her with his goblet. “Your mother has outdone herself tonigh
t.”
“What’s
the occasion?” Curious, GiNae took a seat at the kitchen table and sipped from
the goblet her mother placed before her.
“NiKoh
is going to be an uncle again.” ViShe took a steaming platter of meat out to
the dining room and placed it on the tab
le.
GiNae
noticed the bowl of vegetables and jumped up to help her mother, earning her a
thank you. “No reason you should make two trips with me here.”
“Very
thoughtful of you.” ViShe seated herself and paused while GiNae offered up the
blessing.
“Will
Tr
iSha have to stay here?” GiNae took a bite of the
succulent and juicy
nei’chi.
NiKoh
coughed. “They’re not the ones expecting. My sister SaLie is the unexpected
one. But we aren’t making it public knowledge, since the infant will be
returning to Xaxa with
DuKah, unless that toad JeWal
is the father. SaLie isn’t sure what’s to be done if that’s the case.”
“She’s
not sure whose it is?” GiNae dropped her fork in disbelief. “How is that
possible? Ow!” She rubbed her ankle where ViShe kicked her. “I mean, congra
tulations to your family. I meant no disrespect.”
“It’s
okay. SaLie has always been the rebel of our family. Mother is upset, but I’m
the one who inadvertently forced the matter to light.” NiKoh spoke about how he
found out and the family meeting. “We will
have to
have KiRah and DaTil over one night soon, ViShe. As Eldest, it is my duty to
host them two weeks after they have set up their dwelling.”
“Will
you be planning for other guests also?” ViShe pulled out her calendar.
“No.
But it would be nice if you
could get the recipe from
my mother for the sweet pastries
Kirachi
loves so much.” NiKoh smiled and
resumed eating.
ViShe
made a note. “Of course. I’ll need to know if DaTil has any special things he
requires.”
“I’ll
find out and let you know. They are mov
ing tomorrow,
and are planning a feast at the end of the season, to coincide with the Feast
of AnDoh. KiRah has dreamed of hosting her own Feast for several years. Mother
has trained her well, so I have no doubt it will be spectacular.” NiKoh wiped
his mou
th and drained his goblet.
GiNae
jumped up to refill it, then sat down, wondering what was wrong with her.
What
am I doing? I don’t
want
to wait on NiKoh!
But it brings me much pleasure to see
you taking some of the responsibility from your mother. You’re
growing up, Ginarish.
She
blanched.
What did you call me?
Ginarish. Do you not like it?
I…don’t know.
She
broke the link, then finished her meal, avoiding meeting NiKoh’s eyes. After
helping her mother clean up the remnants of supper, she escaped to her ro
om to feed and exercise SkiRee before going to bed.
Chapter Six
NiKoh
awakened in the night, uneasy. Someone, or something called to him. His swollen
cock made him wonder if it was time the dreams came to fruition.
She’s
made her feelings clear…she
doesn’t want this.
She’s also suffering. You’re the only
one who can help her get past this. Go to her.
Will she turn me away, though? Regret it
in the morning? She’s seventeen years younger than I!
How old was BeSai when you first helped
her?
I was sevent
een
and she fifteen. That was different. We both knew what we wanted.
Just go. Maybe she won’t awaken.
Yeah, right. I’ll be lucky if ViShe, or
that damned animal, don’t run me off.
NiKoh
tossed, his thoughts in turmoil. He worked his hand into his sleeping
pants, and stroked himself, hoping to relieve some of the
pressure. His body cried for release, the same way GiNae’s body ached. He’d
felt it from her all day and nothing had helped.
I
hoped she
would
give me some sign of acceptance, but all she did was b
erate
herself for ‘serving’ me. How can I help her to see that doing things for
another person out of love isn’t the same as being a servant?
Not
finding any answer, he conjured BeSai’s face in his memory. His cock swelled as
he fisted it, picturing her sw
eet mouth around it.
Feeling his desire grow, his hand pumped faster, now picturing himself deep
inside her welcoming body, sliding in and out, the walls of her pussy
contracting as she reached her own pleasure.
“Oh,
BeSai, my love…” Hot spurts of his see
d poured over
his hand. NiKoh sighed and shoved the covers away, then sat up and wiped his
hand on his pajama pants before sliding the damp and now sticky garment down to
his ankles and kicking them to the floor.
Naked,
he picked up the discarded pants and
dropped them
into the laundry basket, then washed his hands and cleaned his cock in the
bathroom before climbing back into bed.
Nobody cares if I sleep naked. OkVei is
up in outer space, and no one comes near my quarters anymore.
NiKoh punched his pillow
and settled back to sleep.
He walked downstairs and entered the
kitchen, pausing to grab a drink of water before continuing on into the suite
of rooms GiNae and her mother occupied. He paused at GiNae’s door. Did he have
the right? Would she see this as a
n invasion of
privacy?
He sensed her anguish, her body crying
out for release. Clearly she didn’t know how to get her body past this point.
It would be an act of kindness. Maybe she wouldn’t wake up.
A hand reached out and slowly opened the
door
.
SkiRee
growled.
“Easy, boy.” The man in front of him whispered and bent down to pet the animal.
“I’m not here to hurt her.” He moved toward the restless form on the bed and
touched her shoulder.
She cried out.
“I need something, but
I don’t know what to do. Help
me.”
“I’m here. I can help you, but I need to
know this is what you want.”
“Yes…”
Keeping his pants on, NiKoh watched the
other man shed his robe and sit down on the bed. GiNae turned over on her back
and flung her arms wide. Swallowing, NiKoh smelled the
tantalizing musk of her arousal. She was close, so close. Her nightgown
bunched between her thighs. The man reached out to free it and she gasped.
“Easy love.”
“Help me! I don’t know what I’m doing
wrong.”
“Don’t fight it. I’ll help you.”
NiKoh remained st
anding as he watched the man sit beside her on the bed, tug the garment
up, baring her smooth belly.
“Touch me.” GiNae grabbed his arm and
pulled him down.
His head swam with emotion. Why was he
watching this man kiss GiNae? Nothing made sense.
“Help me…”
NiKoh watched as the man’s fingers
brushed her erect nipples, heard her sigh as she welcomed his mouth on them,
then cupped her mound. NiKoh watched as GiNae’s back arched.
She tossed her head and hissed a moan of
desire
.
“Just like that…please…”
“Are you
sure?”
“I ache…oh, how I ache…”
“I know. Don’t fight it, love. Let me
help you.”
The man eased her panties down. With a
moan, GiNae pulled her legs up and kicked free of the scrap of fabric. One
finger through the damp triangle and found the little chi, th
e center of her womanly nerves. One touch and she cried
out, tossing her body to one side.
He rose above her and rolled her to her
back, holding her legs apart as he knelt between them. Touching her chi with
one finger, he slid first one, then a second fin
ger
inside her opening, felt her muscles clamp down. He alternated movements,
hearing her cries grow in pitch. Finally she grabbed her pillow and screamed as
her body convulsed, and her incoherent sobs grew softer. The man carefully
withdrew his fingers an
d she went into another spasm,
then went limp.
“Thank you. I don’t know what you did,
but thank you.”
“Helping someone in need doesn’t mean
subservience. I was happy to help ease your pain. Sleep now.”
NiKoh
jolted awake, the blankets twisted around his n
arrow
hips. What the hell had that dream been about? He was no voyeur! Sliding his
legs free, he walked into the washroom to splash cold water on his face. He was
no longer aroused, thank gods. Returning to his bed, he straightened the
blankets and slid un
der them, arms folded under his
head. Who was the other man who had been in the room? He sent a delicate mind
probe down to GiNae, but found her peaceful, sleeping a contented sleep.
Whatever had happened, she was happy now, and no longer crying out in sex
ual frustration. NiKoh withdrew the probe, rolled over, and
attempted to go back to sleep. He hoped she wouldn’t be too embarrassed to face
him the next day, especially if she knew he had observed her dream lover.
Which
brought up another point. If he, NiK
oh, was her
Chosen, then why had he witnessed another man help ease the discomforts of her
young body? Not finding any answers, NiKoh resolved to put the matter out of
his head.
Knowing
their paths usually crossed in the evening, NiKoh nevertheless took hi
s time the next morning, waiting until he was sure she had
left for the animal shelter before going downstairs for breakfast.
ViShe
frowned as she set a steaming cup at his place. “Is there something in the air?
GiNae slept late, now you.”
Panic
gripped hi
m. “Is she all right?” He seated himself
and took a sip.
“I
think the
dogas
kept her up late.” ViShe clucked her
tongue in disapproval. “If the little house will be finished today, then SkiRee
can be moved outside.” She disappeared into the kitchen, return
ing with a platter of
nei’chi
eggs. “I hope they are not overdone.”
“This
is fine, ViShe.” He shoveled a forkful into his mouth and washed them down with
the coffee. “Delicious as always.” His communicator beeped. “Excuse me.” Wiping
his mouth, NiKoh rose
and went into his private
office, activating the hologram. “Yes, LyDie?”
“Your
sister has been admitted to the hospital. Apparently the baby is arriving
early.”
“Thank
you for letting me know. Please tell NaKar I may not be in today, and forward
everything
to my pad. Has my mother been informed?”
NiKoh’s heart jumped.
“Yes.
She asked me to let you know.”
“I’ll meet them there. Yellow this time?”
“Save
them for your sister,” she laughed. “I’ll see you later.” Her image shifted,
then disappeared.
NiKoh
returned to the breakfast table. He knew from
experience babies arrived on their own schedule, and the fact SaLie was well
past the miscarriage stage calmed him. This wasn’t any cause for alarm. Maybe
Xaxonian babies had a shorter gestation period, and thi
s was normal. At any rate, he owed it to his mother to wait with her.
“Change
of plans, ViShe. I don’t know if I’ll be home for supper tonight. I will let
you know.” NiKoh told her the news.
ViShe
clasped her hands to her chest. “How wonderful! I made some
thing last week for the occasion.” She waved her hand and a
wrapped package appeared. “Give this to her.”
“Thank
you, this was very thoughtful. Blessings.” NiKoh went upstairs to dress, then
teleported to the medical facility, where he found ReNei in the
waiting room.
“Why
aren’t you in there with her? Has something happened?”
“No.
The Xaxonians are in there with her, and I felt unwelcome.” ReNei’s knitting
needles clacked furiously. “What she sees in that ice cold monster is beyond
me. How did someone lik
e him become so entangled with
that odious, repugnant excuse of lowlife scum?”
“Maybe
opposites attract.” NiKoh set down the bundle he’d brought from home. “What
room is she in? I’d like to let her know I’m here.”
ReNei
pointed a needle. “Through those doo
rs, down the
hall, and third door on the left.”
He
followed her instructions, then with a deep breath, pasted a smile on his face,
knocked twice and entered.
“So
you’ve got a go-getter in there,
Salichi
?” Hoping her nickname would clear the
air between
the
m,
he crossed to her side and ruffled her
damp
magenta
hair.
She
scowled. “The doctor warned me about teleporting this close, but we were late
coming home from—
oh
!” Her face contorted with a
contraction, and she grabbed NiKoh’s arm, nearly cutting off the
circulation.
“Easy,
Salichi
.” Ignoring the pain in his arm, he counted with her, in
order to get her through the pain. “Didn’t they teach you at the birthing
classes?”
“I
didn’t take any.” SaLie panted as she lay back. “I would have had to inform the
Elder
s, and since I am not formally mated anymore, we
thought we could do this quietly, at home. But it didn’t quite work out that
way. Ice.”
DuKah
handed her the cup, and she scooped some up with her tongue. “Ah, that tastes
good. Too bad the baby can’t telepo
rt itself out of
there.”
NiKoh
burst into laughter as he rubbed his sore arm. “Sorry, sweetie, it doesn’t work
like that.” He turned to acknowledge the other two men in the room. “You know
you’ve screwed up the family pool, right?”
“Not
funny. Were you thi
s humorous when OkVei was nearly
born?”
“I
was a nervous wreck. I couldn’t sit still, and whenever BeSai had a
contraction, I swear I had them also.”
SaLie
stuck out her tongue, then winced as another contraction hit.
After
his sister’s breathing returned
to normal, NiKoh
turned to JeWal. “How is the search for entertainment coming along?”
