“What else did you expect from a superhero?” he ground out.

“You’ve exceeded expectations.”

He could feel the curve of her smile against his flesh; it only added another layer of desire to his already burgeoning libido.

He wanted to give her a humorous comeback, because he loved the way she put humor into their lovemaking, but his brain wouldn’t focus enough to let him put two words together when she ran her tongue over the length of his thickness.

His cock pulsed in her hand. She concentrated on his balls with light pressure and then had him growling deep in his throat when she lifted them from behind and dragged her nails softly over the sensitive skin. Her warm tongue slid back up the length of him to suck the head of his erection between her warm lips, grazing her teeth lightly over the engorged head of his cock.

He wanted to die. He arched to give her more, and she took him deeper. He bucked, hitting the back of her throat as she squeezed his balls gently.

She slid her hands along his shaft and then took his length again with her mouth. Sucking, biting, licking. Her soft moans turned him on more. Her whimpers of excitement sent him to the edge. His hips moved up and down to match the rhythm of her hands, her tongue, her moans.

He wasn’t going to last much longer, and he wanted the same thing she did. He wanted to come inside her. Feel her beneath him. On top of him. Hell, however she wanted it.

“S-st-op.”

She didn’t stop, but instead slowed her pace, kissing the thick vein of his shaft while rubbing the head of his cock with the soft pads of her fingers. The sensation did crazy things to his heart. The inside of his thighs quivered, and he squirmed beneath her mouth, trying to hold back.

“D-Devi. I can’t h-hold on…”

“Then don’t.” She mouthed around his length.

He pulled her away gently. “I want the same thing you do.”

Rolling to the side, he scooted to the edge of the bed, pulling a silver packet from his wallet.

“How cliché. Were you thinking I was a sure thing?” she teased as she swatted him on the rear.

He chuckled. The sting of her hand on his butt only added to the anticipation. “Wayne wasn’t the only Boy Scout out there tonight. I’m always prepared.”

“Nice.” She pulled the packet from his fingers and ripped it open with her teeth.

He found the move savage and undeniably hot.

She smoothed the condom over his erection, his length jerking as her fingers touched his flesh.

“Lie back, O. In keeping with the
Aladdin
theme of our relationship, I’m going to take you on a magic carpet ride.”

He chuckled again. “Are you talking dirty to me?”

She nodded, her eyes bright with friskiness. “Do you like it?”

“It’s my new favorite language.”

“Then I’ll keep it up. And I mean that in more ways than one.” She winked and pushed him back against the bed with the force of her wrist.

“I’m going to take every inch of you inside me.”

His breath snagged. “It sounds like you are going to show me the world.”

She straddled his hips, rubbing her heat against his hardness. She was so wet. So hot. He wanted to slide deep inside her. He’d never wanted a woman as much as he wanted Devi. She might have ruined him for anyone else.

Hell, after this, he wouldn’t
want
anyone else.

She lifted, teasing the tip of his cock with her moistness, arching her back to slide one hand behind her to grip his balls. “I can’t wait to feel you inside of me. Your big cock filling me, satisfying me.”

She bit her lip as she sank down on him. Her glistening lips parted slightly and her head lolled from side to side as she closed her eyes. He held her hips, pressing her flesh with his fingers, moving her forward as she took him inch by inch. He swelled inside her. Her muscles tightened, gripping him, pulling him deeper.

She moved over him, her hips rocking against his center. His hands glided up her sides and then covered her breasts. The weight of them in his palms intensified his need. He lifted his head and pulled one taut nipple into his mouth as she squirmed around him, then gave his attention to the other.

“You feel so good inside me.” She moved her hips faster. His hands dropped back down to cradle her hips again and steady her rhythm. Her tongue snaked out to wet her lips, and he leaned up to take her mouth. She clenched her legs around him as he thrust with his hips at the same time his tongue dove into the warm cavern of her mouth. He bucked up again to meet the thrust of her snug heat.

“O, I want to feel you inside me all night.”

“Every night,” he mouthed the words, not sure if he said them aloud.

He closed his eyes. White light shot across his eyelids. His heart pounded, his toes curled, and huge spears of fire soared across his flesh, tightening his muscles.

She grabbed his shoulders, digging her nails into his skin. Mewls of pleasure filled her throat, and she called out his name with each of his thrusts. Over and over again. The pleasure of being inside of her, and the pain of her fingers biting into his flesh, had him moving faster, seeking that final thrust of energy.

“Omar. Oh, my, O-mar…”

Every muscle in his body grew bunched and taut. He could feel her fall apart in his arms as her body tightened, then shook. He ground into her, his own body shaking as they shared the most explosive orgasm he’d ever experienced. He bit lightly into her shoulder, and she cried out his name again, arching her neck and moaning softly.

He gathered her to him. Sweat from her body mingled with his own. Her fingers gripped his shoulders one final time and then relaxed and slid down his arms to settle just above his elbow. Goose bumps overtook her skin as he slid his hands down her back, and her body trembled in his arms. His cock pulsed and twitched inside her.

He rolled her onto her back and kissed her perfect lips. Caressing the side of her face with his palm, kissing her forehead, her temple. “You’re perfect. That was perfect.”

They lay in each other’s arms, both catching their breath as the hum of the Blu-ray filled the room. A soft breeze swept through the windows and across their bodies. Devi snuggled close and released a satisfied sigh.

She lifted from the crook of his arm and planted light kisses along his cheekbone until she found his mouth. Her tongue ran the seam of his lips, and he opened so that she could slide her tongue inside. She palmed his face, and then glided her hands over his chest, pulling his nipples gently.

Devi broke their connection and smiled at him with her eyes. “I’ll be right back. Nature calls.”

He hugged her to him when she tried to move away. “I don’t want to give you up.”

She offered him a quick kiss, sighing into his mouth. “Keep my spot warm.” She slid across the rumpled blankets and comforter, scattering rose petals off the bed as she stood. She made her way to the bathroom, tossing him a smile over her shoulder.

Hell, she looked incredible. His eyes traveled south down the length of her back and stopped when he reached her perfect behind. His lips twisted into a smile as two perfect petals stuck to her well-rounded bottom. She shook her rear to tease him, and dislodged one petal so that it floated softly to the floor. Her eyes widened in surprise, and then she laughed, picked it up, and blew it toward him from off her palm.

He wanted her again. Hell, he couldn’t imagine not wanting her.

The bathroom door clicked closed, and the soft sound of her humming met his ears. He could get used to this. He lay back against a rumpled pillow, hands behind his head. When he closed his eyes, all he could see was Devi. All he could smell, taste, hear.

Then he remembered where they were. Bartow. The contract. Hell, he didn’t even care. The only thing on his mind was Devi.

Shit, I’d say you’re in a world of trouble, Esterly.

Chapter Eleven

Devi smiled back at her reflection in the mirror as she dried her hands. She ran her fingertips over her lips, still feeling Omar there. She flicked out her tongue, tasting him. But the best part she saved for last. She closed her eyes and breathed deep. His scent covered her like a blanket.

She stared at her reflection.
Now what?

They’d crossed the line. She had no idea where this would lead, but she didn’t care. If they had a week-long fling she’d be satisfied. She wasn’t looking for anything permanent anyway.

At the same time, the idea of only one awesome week of sex in a lifetime filled her with a sadness she hadn’t imagined. The idea of friends with benefits wasn’t foreign. Maybe they could go that route?

Don’t think about this now.

She’d just had the best sex of her life. Her body still tingled with the sensation. No reason to ruin her high by dwelling on what would happen after this week. She hugged her middle, swaying from side to side as she warmed at the memories of Omar’s hands on her. Her hands on him.

She might jump his bones again. And maybe again. And again. She giggled—a silly little schoolgirl giggle—and slapped her hand over her mouth. A warm flush crept over her body, and she rubbed her arms as if she could brush it away.

How crazy did she feel? And look for that matter. She ran her fingers through her tousled hair, working through a knot at the back of her head. Should she walk out there in the raw, or grab a towel?

Being naked with someone for the first time should be uncomfortable, but for some reason nothing felt uncomfortable with Omar. She didn’t feel exposed or unsure. Instead she felt desired. She closed her eyes and remembered the way his gaze traveled over her.

Hungrily.

Passionately.

She wanted to see that again. Flinging open the bathroom door, Devi arched her back against the jamb and placed her arms above her head, wrist over wrist. She whistled to get Omar’s attention, and her body came to life at the smile that inched across his face, crinkling his eyes.

Her body melted as his gaze traveled from north to south and then back again, taking detours to lave attention on her breasts, her sex—already growing damp from his inspection—and finally resting on her face, holding her eyes with his.

“Welcome back.” He scooted over, holding out his hand in invitation. “I kept your spot warm.”

She turned to him, feeling brazen and sassy. He’d already seen her goods, but she wanted him to look again. To have his eyes on her sent jolts of electricity to every nerve ending in her body. She lifted her chin, willing him with her eyes to memorize every inch of her. She had nothing to hide at this point, and nothing she wanted to hide. She moved across the room at a leisurely pace, feeling sexy, wanton, and in control. She exaggerated the sway of her hips, watching him from beneath the shield of her lashes. Her flesh grew hot as she walked closer to where Omar lay, unable to take his eyes off her. He licked his lips, and his eyes darkened.

She felt desirable. Womanly. Cherished.

Cherished?

She’d never felt or expected that emotion to filter through her. But she liked it. With Omar, it seemed right.

She took his hand, and he smiled as he held her wrist, turning it so he could kiss the sensitive skin.

“I think I found your second tattoo.” He took hold of her other hand and spun it around to inspect the inside of her palm and fingers. “And here’s the third.”

She climbed into bed and snuggled against him. “Only one more.”

He studied the symbols. “What do they mean?”

She held up her hands and looked at the tiny tattoos, one on the inside of each of her pointer fingers. They’d hurt like hell when she’d had them done, but she loved them. “This is the Japanese symbol for love, and the other is for peace.”

“Hmm. And are you going to give me a clue where the other one might be hiding? I think I’ve seen just about every inch of skin on you.”

She shook her head against his upper arm. “Nope. You’ll have to work to find it all on your own.”

“You’re such a tease.” He moved away from her. “My turn now.” He jumped off the bed and made his way to the bathroom, his firm butt the perfect view.

Within minutes he was back again, climbing between the sheets and pulling her against him. Devi nuzzled his neck and smiled against his throat when he wrapped her tighter in the circle of his arms. He sighed, and his warm breath washed over her shoulder.

“I’ve always been a snuggler, but I didn’t expect you to be.” She drew lazy circles over his pecs, twirling her fingers in the light dusting of hair.

“I guess there’s more to me than you realized.”

She nodded. That was the understatement of the year. She’d known him professionally, assumed she’d known him better than anyone—always exact in his appearance, prepared for anything. But, now, to know the man. To know him as a lover.

Hot damn.

She wasn’t a shy virgin, by any means, but she was selective on who she chose to let into her bed, into that personal space of her life. He had just peeled away another one of her layers. One seen by few. And of the men she’d been with, she’d never been with a man like Omar. His body was the perfect accent to hers. She hummed and throbbed in all the right places.

He fit her perfectly. And it didn’t hurt matters that he had to be the most endowed man she’d ever seen. Not that size mattered, but…

Who are you kidding?
It didn’t hurt.

She didn’t realize she’d chuckled aloud until Omar pulled back to look at her, a small smile tugging at his mouth.

“What?”

“I was just thinking how well—how well endowed you are.” The last few words came out rushed.

“And I was just thinking I love the fact that you’re not shy.” His eyes smiled at her.

“Not a chance. You know, O. We might be in trouble here.”

He kissed her on the tip of her nose. “Why’s that?”

“I think I have a crush on my boss. My friend. My fake fiancé.” Her heart stalled when his arm stiffened behind her neck. Sometimes being so up-front could sure cause issues. Had she scared him?

Too bad. She always spoke her mind, and she wasn’t going to stop now because she feared him getting all after-sex-awkward.
