“I’m on coke Andy… Tell him what you’ve managed in one
afternoon Adrian.” I laughed as I disappeared when I got back and
they were deep in conversation, laughing at my vagina
comment.

“Give me the rings and I’ll take them to be cleaned.” He
passed them to me and I left them to it, deep in conversation about
solicitor stuff. I went to the jewellers and gave the woman who
served me the rings.

“Can I possibly get these cleaned?” I gave her the boxes and
she looked at them.

“Beautiful these are expensive rings, they’re antique and
Victorian, these are so nice are they yours? You are very lucky
girl if they are. I can have these ready for you Monday.” I looked
at the rings they were very pretty, but I still loved
mine.

“That’s fine thank you, no they’re my mothers, and yes I agree
they are quite pretty.” She took Sam's name and address and gave me
a receipt for the three rings all were as pretty as the next. I
walked back towards the pub and shit Dennis was following me. He
didn’t know I had seen him, so I kept calm and walked slowly; he
was following me so I went into my old work place.

“Debby, can you see the man by the bookstore? He’s following
me can I use the phone please?” She looked out the window and
pretended to get something from a shelf.

“Yes, it’s through the back Michelle, you can use it that’s
not a problem.” I thanked her. I picked up the yellow pages looked
for The Frog in’t Mud and found the number and rang the
number.

“Hello Frog, how can I help you?” I spoke, if I wasn’t so
angry with Dennis, I would have made a joke about not being a
frog!

“Do you see Sam and Andy Todd by the corner?” Fingers
crossed.

“Yes they are still here.” I took a deep breath.

“Can you call Andy to the phone please, it's an emergency.” I
heard his name called out, and then he answered.

“Yes, Andy speaking and you are?” The relief I felt on hearing
his voice.

“Andy it’s me Michelle, get Sam and bring him around to where
I used to work please, your dad’s following me.” The line went dead
and I waited.

“Thanks Debby my fellas on his way, though this could all go
wrong. He’s a lunatic he’s been bloody warned to stay away too he’s
breaking a serious restraining order just being there.” I walked
out of the bakery I could see the pair of them.

“They are here Debby, thank you.” He was still watching me. I
walked away from the boys and he followed me and so did not see
them, he suddenly rushed towards me and I turned, quickly and
steadily and unfortunately for Mr Todd, he landed on his backside,
now, complete with a very nasty swelling to his nether region. Yet
another win number for self-defence classes.

“That you dirty old drunken pervert is what I promised you if
you ever came for me and this,” as I landed another kick to his
already sore area, when he grabbed my ankle, “this is for what you
did to Sam and when my father he sees you, you’re dead. I know you
saw him; he was on his way to Emma’s house to get you. You’re on
fucking borrowed time old man!” The lads were beside me and a crowd
had gathered around, the men
OH-ED
, as they felt the kick to his
man area, they were keeping him from me. Andy held me back and away
from his father.

“Are you all right Michelle, did he touch you?” Sam was
smiling, as he lent into his father.

“You have just made the biggest mistake of your life Dennis.”
He went in his pocket and removed the keys from his dad’s pockets.
“You now need somewhere to live, another source for your drinking
money and you better run, her Dad’s been told what you did to her
and he’s gunning for you, with the famous right and left hook and
organising your fall as we speak.” Debby had called the police as
soon as I left, bless her. He and I were now asked
questions.

“What happened to you Miss?” I explained I’d been to the
jewellers and had spotted him following me. Telling them he had
threatened me earlier in the afternoon, in front of witnesses in
the Night Owl, all about his threats to sort me out when he next
saw me, how I’d phoned for assistance from his two sons. He
listened as I told him the sorry tale.

“I was in fear of what he would do. When he lunged at me and I
struck my leg and foot, into his privates to stop him attacking me.
He grabbed my leg and I had the need to force a second blow to gain
my release. I had no other choice, but to use the self-defence
moves taught me in my police defence classes.”

He totally agreed with me, I'd kept my cool and didn’t lose
the plot. Dennis looked like a drunken foul-mouthed idiot, which he
was. With plenty of Stockton finest here he was still threatening
to kill me, a proper result. Dad would be able to find him too, it
helped because Sam had added me to the restraining order too, it
seems he may have broken it coming within a hundred feet of me, my
foot had actually made contact, twice I laughed he’d come within
two feet of me actually, I’m in shock I think?

All he did was shout that I was a bitch, and would get what
was coming to me. The police took him away I think they believed
me, above the drunken screaming abuse from Dennis. I went in to
thank Debby for her help. When he sobers up in the police cell, he
may think again. I will leave it to the family to see what they
want. We left to go collect my bags and Sam’s they had left at the
bar. That done we got in a taxi, back to Aunties.

“As it turns out, I didn’t need your help I didn’t know if I
could sort him on my own, but Sam you didn’t stop in the corner,
you came running.” He looked at me and smiled.

“I did, damn girl you’re good at this sorting stuff out lark,
bet his bollocks are sore, that kick made the fellas in the crowd
grab theirs.” Andy nearly wet himself laughing, I laughed at the
smiles on their faces.

“He must have been following us all the time. When I came out
of the jewellers, I just happened to spot him in the refection in
the window. I went to see Debby and phoned you two I didn’t know if
you were coming the line went dead.” Andy blushed.

“Sorry our kid I dropped the phone. I grabbed him and told him
you were in trouble at your work, and he bloody ran like the
clappers.” I had two pairs of strong arms wrapped around
me.

“Thank you both, I will let him sleep it off and if you want
drop the charges.” They both laughed.

“Let him rot, let’s not tell Mum about this let her enjoy the
meal, and her weekend?” I gave Sam the receipts, for the rings
before I forgot. We arrived back at Aunties, so the lads could
dress for dinner. Sam arranged for the pick up at eight he was in
such a good mood, they all were. Aunty was in particular good form
when we arrived. So many people’s lives were messed by that foul
man.

Andy had ordered bottles of a really nice Chardonnay and a
Cabernet Sauvignon to have with dessert he asked me what I liked as
he phoned the order through earlier. He was a little impressed that
I knew my wines, derrr what did he think I did at college? Sam too
was in good form, and looked damn fine in his new clothes, but he
looked damn fine out of them too. Getting there, he helped Emma and
Aunty to their seats, before returning to pull out my chair and
kissing my neck as I sat. Taking his seat next to me.

“You look really nice by the way, I can’t remember if I told
you that already, my baby is stunning.” His hand was running up and
down my back, each slow pass sending shivers down my
spine.

“You did thank you and that you love me, I like the dresses
you picked too, thank you, I’d say you look good too, but three
waitresses are watching you with their tongues out, so I guess you
know you look good?”

“The only
person I am focusing on is my wonderful fiancé and she needs to
calm down, I didn’t moan when the waiter who served the wine at the
table nearly chocked on his pen when you walked in, a friend of
yours?”

“Ha, he wishes, that’s Smarmy Simon, wine waiter my arse he
wouldn’t know champagne from cava! Yes he fancies everything with a
pulse and no I’m not a fan angel!”

“Good to hear and in case you haven’t sussed yet I love you!”
I smiled as Sam shooed away Smarmy Simon and he poured me and Aunty
our wine, and watched me as I sipped the wonderful wine in my
glass, this was a wine to be drunk slowly and savoured. Zoe was
quite at the end of the table and drinking mineral water and
looking at Sam and I together, Andy hasn’t said two words to her
all the time we have been here and Teddy pulled out her chair
too.

Pull your finger out Andrew, umm eyes down girl a few more of
these and we will be having more words, Andy is chatting happily to
Teddy and Kim, Jimmy looks red, his cheeks are being squeezed by
Aunty and she’s patting his head, he’s sat between Aunty and mum as
they are fussing over him, he’s so cute when he’s embarrassed. I
look around at the girls as they wait on their tables and as I
watch them, they too look away and blush, because Sam is being
attentive and mushy, got to love a mush from my fella.

“Is that nice Michelle, you look like you’re enjoying
it?”

“Umm it’s really good, thank you. What you drinking, larger
with the secret double whiskey chaser, I may take you up on the
offer if you get drunk tonight Todd?” He laughed.

“No just larger, I learnt my lesson thank you Mi cielo, and no
tomorrow is fine baby I can’t wait to be in here.” His finger was
stroking the newly waxed strip of hair guarding my sex, the lady
garden had undergone some drastic trimming, and I swear I am never
waxing it again because it hurt.

“Umm,
this feels smooth, have you done something different?”

“Yes I
waxed and I’m never doing it again, that was something I am only
doing the once it hurt and may be wonky!” He laughed.

“I will
check it later, it feels different can you get any wetter
baby!”

“Possibly, but I don’t want to find out at the dinner table
next to your Aunt Allison, so quit it now!”

“What are you two muttering about, it’s rude to whisper!” Andy
was grinning; he knew damn well it would be smutty.

“I’m sure the whole table doesn’t want to hear about my period
pains Andrew!” He blushed and the rest of them laughed, Sam nearly
chocked on his pint.

“Sorry no
you’re right I, I, I am so sorry whisper away.”

“All finished now, we were just going to discuss leg waxing, I
fancy doing Sam’s hairy legs, can I try on yours first before I
inflict pain on my beloved. Andy go on be a sport?”

“No, you
bloody well can’t try Jimmy’s he’s hairier than a gorilla!” Jimmy
laughed too.

“Nope
thanks Kimmy tried it once and got a foot to her mouth as she
pulled the bloody paper thing off, remember Kim?”

“Umm and
he had four more to rip off. So Teddy sat on him as I ripped them
off! Funny thing is he only had one leg done!”

“I
remember that. He looked so stupid at football practice, all your
handy work then?” They all laughed and Jimmy blushed.

“Andy can
I have a glass of white please this waters, not dulling the pain
much!”

“Oh, are
you not well Zoë dear?” Aunty looked at her in concern.

“No I feel a little sick to my stomach.” Andy gave her a look,
fuck they were falling out again, perhaps he took my chat to heart
and he can’t love her like she needs to be loved? She needs a swift
kick up the backside lusting after my fella though. He passed her
the bottle.

“Sure here you are, help yourself babe!” Opps frosty reception
I can feel the cold chill down here. Sam noticed too and rubbed my
thigh and smiled.

Aunty refilled my glass as that too seemed to disappear
quickly. We ate we talked and better still laughed and joked. The
courses of food came and the wine flowed, Aunty and I chatted, Sam
just sat and listened. By the time the desserts were being ordered,
I’d had quite a lot of nice wine and was feeling erg, well just a
little bit naughty, not helped by Sam constantly stroking my thigh,
and really doing a number on my sex with his damned finger, it was
throbbing uncontrollably and wow I was so ready to jump him here
and now in front of his whole family.

“I need the toilet Sam, fancy joining me?” He was smiling like
a fool. I excused myself from the table and walked gracefully to
the toilets, on my way to the toilet I’m joined by Sam holding me
tightly and as we pass an alcove I shoved him against the wall and
we hid behind the heavily draped area, it was his fault I was so
frisky, he’d had me hot and bothered, all night. Let the making out
begin.

“Michelle, you’re randy as hell, when you drink baby, you and
drinking are a no go baby.” I was on the receiving end of one of
first contact kisses.

“All this is your damn fault you have been doing rude things
all bloody through the meal so it’s your fault angel, all your
fault. When are you going to take me Sam? I really, really want you
to fuck me and now would be a good time.” He smiled licking his
lips and coming in for another knee trembling kiss. I gasped as he
pulled away from my lips and smiled damn he could kiss, wonder how
he fucks, half of Stockton knows and I wanna know too, oops good
job that was in my head he may be angry at me and my drunken
rants?
