I shivered at his obvious hard-on as he pressed it into my hip. "So it does, Master."

Adjusting his pants, and once I’d had a moment to breathe, he guided me back out into the ballroom so we could finish our dance. By now, we were three or four songs behind everyone else, but Jake didn’t seem to mind. Even with his cock straining against his slacks, he danced effortlessly. And now, so did I.

"There’s just one thing I need to know," Jake said, turning me in a circle as we flowed out of one song and into another. "If you could’ve done things differently—if you could’ve chosen one of the other Doms for the thrill of it—would you?"

I chewed my bottom lip as I considered his question.
If you could have any Dom for one night...would you have done it?
"No, I don’t think I would, Master."

He offered me a curt nod. "And why is that, I wonder?"

"One Dom is more than enough for me. I’m not sure if I could handle more than that."

"Hmm." He rubbed his chin. "So, I guess that means you wouldn’t ever want to play with them then."

My breath caught. "Seriously?"
As in, sharing?

"Tonight, you shall be shared."

Jake wasn’t just talking about dance partners. He was talking about—

"But of course," Jake said.

"And you?"

"Would I be okay with it?" He laughed. "I’m pretty much suggesting it."

I shook my head. "No. I mean...where would you be if—"

"I will be right there beside you unless you turn me away. These are good men, great Doms and those I trust. Tonight was a test, and you were right, everyone has something to hide, but I don’t do it because I can’t trust you. It’s because I don’t want to hurt you." He drew me away from the center of the room so we could talk. "There are times I will ask you to entertain guests or to be shared with another. If you can’t do this now, I understand. Just know at some point, I might ask you to. Do you understand?"

Once again, I looked at all of the faces within the room. Back at Jake. "Yes, Master."

"Would you have this now?"

"Yes. I mean yes to it all. Please, if it will please you, let me do this for you, Master."
I can’t believe I’m doing this.
Being shared with other Doms was...unimaginable. It wasn’t even something we’d talked about. And so long as my morning sickness didn't start a few hours early, I was pretty sure I could pull it off.

"Very well." Jake beckoned at someone I couldn’t see. "They’ll meet us back home. Know that they’re aware of your preferences, but it's still up to you to use your safe words. Understood?"

"Yes, Master."

"Good girl. Now, go get in the car."

Chapter Twenty Three

I
n all the months I’d known him, Jake never entertained guests of any kind, not even his clients from work. So the fact he was planning to have two Doms meet us back at his place was extremely out of character.

The entire drive home, he gripped the steering wheel. His shoulders tightened as he focused on the road. The other cars. Anything but me. I sunk in the passenger seat wondering if I’d done something wrong. Perhaps I’d made the wrong choice. Given him the wrong answer.

It could be nerves.
With Jake? It was highly unlikely.

I suddenly felt like an outsider in Jake’s car, and I wasn’t entirely sure how to mend the rift that had somehow wedged itself between us since we left the countryside.

"What ever happened to Devlin?" I asked, somewhat disappointed when Jake didn’t look at me.

"He was there," he replied, tightening his grip on the wheel.

I put my hands in my lap. "I didn’t see him. Was he—"

"He was there, hidden like all the others."

"Oh." I could tell I was treading on thin ice. As to how I got there, I wasn’t sure. "Will he be meeting us back home?"

"No." Jake sighed. Looked at me. His expression softened when he reached over to squeeze my knee. "He may visit later, but he wasn’t one of the Doms you danced with tonight. Devlin’s a terrible dancer." He smiled.

He isn’t angry.
But if he wasn’t mad, what had him on edge? Jake's posture, and his heavier drumming on the steering wheel, wasn’t like him at all.
What’s gotten under your skin, Jake?

I didn't think I'd ever see him like this after the night Dennis attacked me
.
Jake had been upset. Quiet, too.
But not like this.

"I don’t mean to keep you in the dark," Jake said, watching the road. "I want you to know that."

"Then why the games? I understand what you did earlier, but why now? You’re worrying me."

He risked a glance in my direction. "No need to be worried. I just have a lot on my mind."

You don’t even know the half of it.
I decided it was better left unsaid. The last thing we needed was to get in some horrible accident because I couldn’t wait until we got home to drop a bombshell on Jake’s feet.
He’s going to find out sooner or later.

I’d tell him. Tonight. Just as soon as we were on solid ground.

"I’m sorry if I scared you," Jake said a few minutes later. "It wasn’t my intention."

Then what was your intention?
"It’s okay..." Actually, it wasn’t, but I didn’t feel right pressing the matter when we still had more than half an hour between the interstate and any place we could call home.

* * * *

A
s we pulled in to the driveway, I was somewhat surprised to see we were alone. The other Doms I’d danced with over an hour before hadn’t reached Jake’s mansion yet, but I knew they were well on their way.

Slipping out of the car, I waited for Jake to step in front of me before following him back inside. He folded our jackets over one of the railings leading upstairs as we continued toward the kitchen. His shoulders were bunched up, and just as tense as they'd been the entire way home. He rolled them back as if to lift whatever weight he was carrying on his back. He’d seemed confident earlier this evening before heading to the countryside.

But something had changed between then and now.

Jake lowered into one of the chairs at the kitchen table, and I made myself busy by starting some water and retrieving a tea bag from one of the many boxes on the counter.

Not that I planned on drinking anything, but at least it gave me something to do—some way to keep my hands busy without bothering Jake.

"Kira, sit down," Jake ordered, his voice firm.

"But I—"

"Leave it."

Swallowing, I turned off the stove and sat in the chair across from him. "Can you at least tell me what’s wrong? I know you said you have a lot on your mind, but why won’t you tell me?"

He stood from his chair. Paced from one side of the kitchen to the other. "Because, it isn’t your burden to bear."

"Is it..." I wet my lips. "Is it about Dennis?"

He’d never told me how things turned out with Dennis
,
only that he and Devlin were handling it.
Maybe that’s what those papers were from this afternoon.

Jake stopped dead in his tracks and reached out for me. "Hell, no. Come here, you." He closed his arms around me, hugging me to his chest. "Is that what’s worrying you?"

I shook my head. "No, but you are. You’ve never been like this, not even with one of your clients, so I know it isn’t work. But what else could it be? Those papers from earlier—"

His Adam’s apple bobbed when he swallowed. "You weren’t supposed to see them."

"But why?"
Why can’t I look at them?

"You’ll see." He caressed my face and drew gentle arcs across my cheek with his thumb. "By the end of tonight, everything will be explained." He paused and lifted his gaze, probably listening to the car doors slamming out front. "Sounds like they’re here. Go on and greet them at the door for me, will you? We’ll sit in the living room."

I inclined my head and slowly drew away from him.
Remember the rules.
We’d never had guests before, but I’d seen how Marisa greeted visitors at the door.
Be like Marisa.
And while Jake hadn’t asked it of me, it was implied. I was a sub, and these guests were Doms.

If my little run-in with them tonight was any indication, they’d earned my respect, and if not mine, they certainly had Jake’s.

Steeling myself for whatever waited on the other side of the door, I opened up Jake’s home to the same two men I’d seen back at the party. I bowed my head and stood to one side so they could join us.

"Good evening, sirs," I said, keeping my gaze fixed on the floor.

Neither one replied. In fact, they pretty much ignored me, walking past me to shake hands with Jake who was busy stoking the fire.
Don’t freak out. This is probably just one of Jake’s games.
Games I should’ve been used to by now.

It’s his job to make you nervous. Anxious.
I wasn’t afraid of them. Perhaps if I’d never met them before, I would’ve felt differently. But for now, they were just guests in Jake’s home. I was a part of the décor.
If Marisa can do this, so can you.

She and Devlin had a total power exchange and showed as much every hour of every day. My submission up until now had been limited to the bedroom, Jake’s dungeon and
The Limelight.
Not in his living room.

"Kira?" Jake called, sitting in one of the easy chairs. "Care to join us?" He lifted his eyebrows at me.

I nodded and made my way toward him. "Yes, Master."

He grabbed my arm before I could take my place beside him. With very little force, he guided me down onto the floor at his feet.
You’re supposed to be his sub, remember?
I was his sub.

I folded my knees and rested my hands behind my back as the men spoke amongst themselves about one thing or another. Jake absently stroked my hair, but every touch was a tentative one. As assertive as he may have seemed when I knelt in front of him, he was still just as unnerved as he was earlier.

I wanted to ask him—again—what was wrong. But with the other Doms in the room and Jake’s reputation at stake, I kept the questions to myself.

"Well," Jake said, clearing his throat as he stood up. "I suppose we should get to it."

Get to what?
I'd zoned out and missed whatever it was we were supposed to be doing.

Jake took my hand and helped me to my feet before directing me toward our guests. "These are masters Samuel and Trevor. You’ll be entertaining them this evening. Treat them the same way you treat me, understood?"

Why? Where are you going? You promised you’d stay with me.

"Kira, do I make myself clear?" Jake asked again.

I shivered when he traced my spine with his fingertips. "Yes, Master."

"Good girl. There are a few things I need to tend to in the dungeon, then I’ll have you join me along with Samuel and Trevor."

I closed my eyes and listened to Jake’s footsteps as they faded down the stairs into the dungeon below. Neither of the other Doms moved, either because they were waiting for me to open my eyes, or they were making some silent pact before cluing me in.  Part of me was glad I wouldn't be scening with Devlin, but deep down, I probably would've felt more comfortable with him around, even if he was Marisa's Dom.

Drawing in a breath, I forced my eyes open. Both Samuel and Trevor stood before me, arms crossed over their chests. They looked so similar it took me a moment to make out one from the other. And if it weren't for the fact they'd removed the contacts they had been wearing for the dance, I probably would've been just as lost as now I was then.

"Your master has told us a lot about you," Trevor said, caressing my face. "About how beautiful you are when you kneel and look up at him." He nodded to me, which I took as an order to kneel before him. He smiled, then continued. "Ahh, yes, lovely indeed, wouldn't you say, Samuel?"

Samuel looked me over and grinned. "Well, that all depends—that isn't the only thing Jake bragged on about."

"Quite true." Trevor leaned in and lowered his voice. "Let's see how pretty that little mouth of yours is."

Nerves...check.
But no fear. If Jake trusted them, I had no reason to be afraid of either Dom.
Head games.
That's all it was. Just a game, and they were doing a fine job at it without my help.

Widening my stance so I wouldn't lose my balance, I bowed my head and waited for my next order. It came sooner than I expected.

Trevor took my hands and rested them on his belt, cocking his head at me when I didn't move. "Well? They won't remove themselves."

"Sorry, sir," I murmured, working on his belt buckle.

The leather hissed through his loops, and as I pulled down the zipper, he sucked in a breath of air.
Jesus.
His cock strained against his briefs and warmed under my fingers as I drew his pants and undergarments down to his knees.

Trevor moaned as I stroked him. "I'm not the only one you need to be pleasing," he reminded me, gently pushing me away so I could work with Samuel.

He wasn't nearly as talkative as Trevor, and he didn't have to be. A little more aggressive, he guided my hands to his belt loops and helped me remove his clothing from the waist down. And like Trevor, he was already hard and waiting to be pleased.

A buffet of cock lay out before me, and I couldn't wait to taste each one. No doubt Jake had commented on my ability to give head. Samuel had even said as much, and I refused to let my or any other Dom down.
Give them something to remember, Kira.

Thankful when my gag reflex didn't mirror how I felt this morning, I alternated between sucking one cock and stroking the other. My mouth watered as I went down on Trevor, adjusting my jaw to accommodate him. He wasn't large, but it was still more than enough to work with. He drove his fingers into my hair as I deep-throated him. Circled the head of his dick with my tongue.

Samuel sighed and groaned from the rapid strokes of my hand. He reached down and squeezed my hand around him.
Tighter, Kira. He wants it tighter.
I doubled my efforts, delighting in the delicious moans that crept past his lips, along with Trevor's soft gasps for air.
