Nikki stood alone in the finished nursery of their newly built home on Beckett pack land. It was a large room, painted a soft yellow, and held two of everything from cribs and bureaus to stuffed animals, as well as three cushioned rocking chairs. That they were truly hands-on fathers was so important to her, and she no longer questioned that they desired a family with her.

The house that they had built together had turned out beautifully. The rooms were big and plentiful. Alex had insisted that there be enough rooms for their growing family.
