Jenna and I were alone in her old childhood room. Ann had gone to the hospital to pick up Kota and Mac had taken Evie to the beach with a group of her friends.

I was sitting in Jenna’s desk chair watching her look through pictures of Kota as a baby. Seeing her smile as old memories played in her head. Jenna kept her head down but brought her eyes up to find me watching her.

“You’re doing it again,” Jenna said.

Shrugging, I gave her my lazy half smile. I knew what it did to her and I was hoping I would get lucky. What can I say, I’m a guy. “What are you going to do about it?”

Closing the photo album she was hold
ing, Jenna tossed it on the bed beside her and stood. Walking along her bed she started unbuttoning the dress she was wearing. Stopping at the end of her bed, just out of my reach she let her dress fall and pool at her feet. Standing before me in nothing but her bra and those damn tiny thongs she wore had my dick springing to life.

“Oh I have a few ideas,” Jenna teased. Reaching behind her she unsnapped her bra and let that land on the floor with her dress. Stepping over her dress she took a few steps bringing her into my reach.

I grabbed her hips with both my hands and pulled her to me so she was straddling me. Letting one of my hands slide down her hip to her leg then back up had Jenna putting both her hands on my shoulders. Leaning forward I used my teeth and pulled her thong down. On my way back up I placed soft, gentle kisses along the inside of her thigh, stopping just before most tender spot.

“Ugh,”
Jenna groaned.

Scooping her up in a quick motion so my arms were under her thighs I crashed my face into her wet pussy. Flicking my tongue across her clit. Jenna dug her nails into my back as the scream escaped her lips.

Setting Jenna on her desk I dropped to my knees and continued my perusal of her tight, wet pussy with my mouth. I loved the way she tasted…sweet, perfect, heaven. Sliding one finger into her I heard her breathing getting rougher and rougher. I knew she was close and I needed to be inside her when she got off.

Removing my finger but keeping my mouth on her I quickly unbuttoned my jeans and slid them and my boxers down, letting my erection spring free. Just as Jenna was about to let go I leaned up, letting Jenna’s legs drop and slammed into her.

“Fuck, baby,” I growled, leaning into her. Picking her legs up I used my thumb to rub small, quick circles over her clit.

“Oh God baby.
I love that feeling. I’m going to get off. Oh God yes, keep doing that,” Jenna said between breaths and grunts.

“You look so fuckin’ sexy right now baby. Your ti
ght wet pussy wrapped around my throbbing dick, seeing that ‘fuck me hard’ look on your face, and hearing those sounds your making. Damn baby. I could fuck you until you couldn’t walk or talk.”

Just as I felt Jenna tensing up I felt my own release coming. Using my other hand I grabbed onto Jenna’s shoulder as she cried out and I followed.

Resting our foreheads on each other we took a few moments to regain our composure and breathing.

“I was expecting that.” Jenna laughed.

Raking my top teeth over my bottom lip I said, “But fuck it was good.”

Jenna nodded and as she started to say something we heard the front door open and
Evie’s little voice carry up the stairs. “Momma, daddy!”

“Shit!” Jenna said as she jumped off the desk rushing around to get dressed. “Hold on baby, mommy and daddy will be down in one second.”

I couldn’t help but laugh. Jenna paused for a second to scowl at me before finishing the buttons of her dress. I leisurely pulled my boxers and jeans back up before shuffling towards the door. Just as Jenna was finished getting dressed Evie came busting into the room.

“Momma! Daddy!
Beesh!” Evie exclaimed

Mac slowly walked into the room with a knowing smile on her face. “Good thing I took the little lady for ice
cream, huh?”

Jenna snapped her head to her sister, her mouth dropped open. I busted out laughing. Jenna just shook her head and turned back to focus on
Evie.

**********

Once we arrived at the rehab center Kota only wanted me to go in with him. After a tearful goodbye from him mom and Jenna Kota turned towards what would be his home for the next three months.

“Ready to go?” I asked looking Kota up and down. He looked like he was ready to bolt any minute.

Not saying a word he nodded once and started in the direction of the doors.

Once we were out of earshot of Ann ad Jenna Kota said, “You know, I lied.”

Dumbfounded I asked, “What?”

Ko
ta stopped, looking back to make
sure his mom and sister couldn’t hear. Snapping his head back to me he mumbled, “I wasn’t using pot, I was using Heroin.”

Grinding my teeth I could feel my veins starting to pop out of my face and neck. “You fucker! It’s a damn good thing you came here. You need serious help.”

Kota dropped his eyes to the sand lining the pathway. “I know that. I came here, didn’t I? I want to be better, be the old me. Someone my dad would be proud of.”

Clamping my hand on his shoulder I said, “Let’s go get you clean.”

Signing himself in an older lady walked up to the desk.

Sticking her hand out to Kota she gave him a warm smile and said, “You must be Dakota
Reylan, I’m Maggie. I will be your mentor while you’re here with us. Let me start by asking you a few questions.”

Kota
gave a slight nod and sat down in the seat opposite Maggie, pulling his duffle bag into his lap.

Maggie sm
iled at me saying, “Thank you, Sir. I can take it from here.”

Nodding I squeezed Kota’s shoulder as I walked behind him. Stopping just outside the little office I heard Maggie ask, “What was your drug of choice, Dakota?”

There was silence. Just as I was about to walk back in I heard Kota say just above a whisper, “Heroin.”

That boy would be okay, one day he would be the old Kota. He was exactly where he needed to be. Heroin isn’t something to fuck around with.

Walking out of Gulf Coast Rehabilitation and Treatment I put one arm around Jenna and one around Ann. “He’ll be ok. I’ve been there. Sometime those you love are exactly the people who can help. He needs strangers, people who know nothing about him telling him he’s someone important. Someone who matters.”

Ann grabbed my hand that was dangling over her shoulder. “Son, I love you. I know your past isn’t perfect but you’re the perfect person for Jenna, for our family. Thank you.”

Kissing her temple I said, “Love you too, mama. I just want to see you happy and don’t want Kota fuckin’ his life up. Been there, done that.”

Ann smacked my hand and shook her head. “You didn’t mess your life up. You did what you had to do and got your life back on track. Look where you are now and what you have. You’re a blessed man, Larkin
Nayler. Don’t you forget that.”

After everything I had been through I was blessed to be where I was, have what I have, and live the life I do. The career I had always dreamed of, a beautiful and
supportive wife, a happy and healthy little girl with two more kids on the way, and a loving family.

The drugs, the alcohol, the girls…nothing was stronger than I was. It may have taken me a while to figure out who I was and I may have gotten sidetracked and hurt a lot of people but if one thing in my past wouldn’t have happened I may not have ended up where I am. And I love where I am and who I’m with.

Looking at Jenna I said, “Love you, infinity.”

Smiling, Jenna looked up at me and said, “I love you too.”

Hearing those words was all I needed to let me know everything would be ok. Life may not be always be beautiful and perfect but with this girl beside me it would be a beautiful chaos.

**Dedication**

This book is for my husband and all those who have been affected by Heroin.

My husband lost his childhood best friend to his battle with Heroin and seeing the effect it had not only on him but all those around him inspired me to bring awareness to what Heroin can do to all those around it.

In the past year THREE people my husband and I know have been effected by Heroin. Two have died from overdoses and one had her child taken away and was sent to prison. Not only do those who take Heroin have side effect so do those in their lives. The two that lost their lives are no longer here with us to laugh, talk, and make memories. All that is left is old pictures and distant memories that will eventually fade away. The one who had her child taken away is now sitting in prison missing all her babygirls firsts. Her daughter will grow up not knowing who her mommy is or why she’s not around. Her family is now raising her child and taking responsibility because Heroin took over her life.

It’s not fair that one nasty habit can effect so many people.
